Fantastic experience: Shame it got bought out by some organic food market that won’t last two years. Staff and equipment were great easy in and easy out. The newer one is overly crowded. Gonna miss it

Negative experience: This gym has really shown its true colors. I purchased a membership shortly after becoming pregnant and went to several personal training sessions as well as a few on my own. I was unfortunately hit with the news that I was experiencing a miscarriage and I endured that process for an entire month, not including the emotional and mental grief that is still ongoing, 2 months later. I had contacted them to ask them to cancel my membership because I was unable to utilize it due to my depression and grief. I was told I needed to provide them with paperwork of the reason to have the cancellation fee waived. I provided them with all of the paperwork from the doctors office confirming my miscarriage as well as my Surgery paperwork from the hospital. I was informed that was insufficient and I needed to have a note from the doctor stating I was physically unable to exercise for more than 30 days to waive the fee of 3 months worth of charges. I was unable to get that note because It had been a few weeks and “physically” they deemed me better at that point. Granted this was 6 weeks after my miscarriage began so my physical state was almost back to normal. However, that is not the case for my mental state. I am still recovering and they consider that to be an unacceptable reason to waive a fee. But if I would’ve broken a leg or twisted an ankle they would’ve excused it. Apparently women, especially grieving women who have lost children aren’t of high importance to them. Not to mention they waited until the first of this month to make sure they billed me the monthly fee again plus the “buyout fee”. So now I have 6 months of unused gym fees and expenses that these greedy, nasty, inconsiderate people with a lack of moral compass have charged me for. Women and their mental health are clearly not of any importance to them.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to take some time to leave a raving review about Phillip . I’m a 5 AM gym guy and even at that time in the morning Phil is standing attentive to the needs of customers with a smile saying hello and wishing customers a good workout. He took customer service above and beyond for me this morning which helped me stay pumped and productive in the gym. As long as OneLife employs people like Phil they’ve got a member in me.

Fantastic experience: I can always tell when Jason, the personal trainer/employee has been working. All of the equipment has been put away, or is organized on the shelves. I never see any of the other staff doing this. He's the exception which is why I notice it. Such a hard-working, knowledgeable and valuable member of the staff. He's a great asset. I really like the gym. It's not glamorous, it's old and pokey, but the equipment is in good condition, it works, the staff is friendly and the members are a great bunch of helpful people who are there to work out.

Fantastic experience: This gym has plenty of floor space, a friendly and accommodating staff, free weights and machines galore, and convenient hours seven days a week!

Negative experience: Please do something about the cockroaches. Every time I come here I have to brush cockroaches off of my clothes and gym bag. They're in the locker room, sauna, showers, toilets, and on the gym floor. It's been like this for many many months.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. Still charging me after we canceled a year ago and I still can’t get anyone to help me.

Positive experience: The place is pretty run down. Soggy ceiling tiles dripping water on you while you work out. Crusted on sweat and tan lotion on the tanning beds. Giant pool of cleaning solution leaking out of overturned bottles by the tanning bed. Toilet seats in the women’s restroom are hanging on by a thread. Someone’s gonna be the unlucky winner of a slip and slide while trying to relieve themselves. 2 inches of dust on the ceiling fans when they decide to turn them off even though it feels like it’s 100 degrees. Most machines have missing knobs so you can’t adjust the weights correctly or position seating. LOVE IT!!! Complaints go nowhere by the way.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this facility on/off for over 10 years. I’ve always been pleased with the price, the hours, the equipment options, and the staff. Most recently I decided to branch out and do my one free consultation with a personal trainer to get some insights on how I could change my workout for more personal gains. That free session has turned into almost three months that I’ve been working with personal trainer, nutritionist, and health coach, Jason Atkinson. (I add all of those titles because that’s what you get when you work with him.) From the very first session, I’ve thought “working with this guy, I can change my life!” He’s someone that has lost (and maintained) over 75 pounds. I believe I respond most to educated guidance and showing me the science behind what you’re teaching. I like that he explains why I need to eat these foods and avoid those…why I need strength training as part of my workout and which weights to do (and how to lift properly ). He pushes me to move out of my comfort zone. I have my off days (or sometimes week) and he just encourages me to stay motivated.. to keep going. He’s genuinely a great person that wants to help people reach their goals and become the best versions of themselves. I highly recommend at least having a conversation with the guy. You’ll see what I mean and I bet you’ll start working with him too.

Fantastic experience: Over the past years I have been using this gym as a tool for my weight loss journey and to get back in shape. I utilized their personal trainer program in order to do so. If you are looking for a good trainer, Jason Atkinson is great at what he does. He is very knowledgeable on different subjects as far as dieting and working out!

Fantastic experience: This gym has been such a game and life changer! Everyone from the GM, to my personal trainer and the most friendly staff.. is amazing!! My personal trainer, Jason Atkinson, has been such a tremendous influence and such a great supporter of my workout goals. He has single handedly made me feel more comfortable in a gym and has given me the guidance to hit personal goals, I never thought I could hit. While I’m not on a weight loss journey, I am on a muscle gain and fat loss journey to help maintain insulin sensitivity and give myself Peak performance for running races. I hit personal bests last year and this year thanks to Jason. His training is unique and specialized, according to my goals and not just general training. He truly cares about his clients and I can’t speak highly enough about him! Best trainer ever!

Fantastic experience: I really love the facility. The athletic facility has a diverse amount of workout equipment. They keep the facility clean and bathrooms clean. I love the milkshakes.

Positive experience: Love this gym just wished you guys went back to 24 hours. It’s was great being able to workout before work.

Negative experience: I love one life express because no matter what time you go, the gym isnt packed and youre able to get a full workout without having to pause to wait for someone to get off a machine. The staff is super friendly and kind. But the reason im giving it 2 stars is because of the ROACH infestation in the locker rooms/bathrooms/sauna. I mean its really bad and not to mention theyre the small roaches so you know its a problem. My biggest worry is transporting one home in a bag that i leave in my locker during workouts. This is something that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Fantastic experience: New member to this gym and I must say that it has been a great experience working out here. A lot of equipment to get in a good workout plus the staff is amazing.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I was told over the phone a couple days ago that I wouldn’t be charged in Feb after sending my cancellation notice at the beginning of this month and no one greeting back to me until after you charged me for this month, she told me I should only be charged for January but after FINALLY someone responding to me today, I’m being told I now have to pay in February. Nothing but loopholes with this business to take money from you. They don’t care in helping you. Just how to take more money from you. *********************************************** Honestly, I used to love this gym when I was able to workout back in 2018. The only reason I’m giving a lower rating than I would have a couple years ago is because for MONTHS now I have been trying to cancel my membership and I have called, physically gone up to the gym to speak with someone and emailed both their ABC finance and MEMBERSERVICES email they switched over to consistently with my member ID to cancel my membership before it renews for the year and no one would respond back to me and then I’m told I was supposed to give them a 30 day notice before cancellation otherwise I’ll still have to pay even if I do not even go there anymore?? I have consistently emailed and begged basically to cancel my membership for longer than 30 days and they keep avoiding or pushing it out to where no matter what however I notify them I still have to pay. It’s honestly a scam & not at all worth grabbing a membership with them. Best to work out at home and save money. When I call to again request to cancel my membership I’m told someone will respond to me in a few days despite me having emailed at the beginning of the month. I was told when signing up after my 1 year contract I could cancel ANY TIME but apparently that is not the case.

Fantastic experience: Fast

Positive experience: So my workout today started out at the big Onelife Club down the street. Two steps forward one step back over there. The construction project is taking shape. Tore out the old CrossFit and TV rooms and looks like they are making them into general workout spaces for machines, free weights etc. kinda resembles a Planet Fitness setup… go figure. I think good decision. When it’s finally done I think it will be great. Much more spread out. During busy times everyone not on top of each other. Had a good workout then came the steps back. Damn handles missing on couple of machines so used my own again. Then sauna down… no sign saying out of order … just off and cold. Checked the hot water and cold…. Again. So, got dressed and drove over here to the OL Express down the street. My membership is for both. Hit the sauna. Again as I have said before … older machines and weights … a little worn but they work and they’re clean. Generally an older more workout serious clientele over here. The kids that work over here do pretty good. There is always one behind the desk. The other one or two that are working are not just sitting around. They move around checking things. Unlike the big gym, I never see trash cans overflowing, or clutter around machines or in the locker room…, or teenage grabass ongoing.. and unlike the big gym here lately… the sauna and the hot water are both working. Kids that work over here take care of their business. It’s the Express gym so it could use a little work… but all in all every time I am here everything works … probably spend more time here for a bit … Happy 2024.

Positive experience: The gym overall is good, main issue not only with Newnan Express but also PTC location…. fix the dang treadmills!! There is ALWAYS at least 5 or more “out of service” and will be that way for weeks!

Negative experience: No thanks, you’re general manager and regional manager have already been disrespectful and prejudiced. I would not like to debate such poor treatment with someone else. It’s also dirty here and I have taken mine and my family’s business to SNAP

Positive experience: This gym needs a renovation, badly! Two modern tv screens have been out of order for months! All of the gym equipment is worn down and outdated!! The appearance at this place is old and dilapidated. It needs a huge revamping! Planet Fitness is way better!!

Fantastic experience: This is one of my favorite gyms. It’s a small gym but has all the equipment you could want and multiples of them. The staff is friendly and I never see anything broken. When I first two times I went I had a small issue. The first time sauna was covered in trash and the second the weights were scattered everywhere. That’s weird for a Onelife because they staff usually keeps it extremely clean. Every since then it has been the perfect gym. I couldn’t ask for much more for a gym.

Positive experience: Lost 100lbs at this gym, gained 50 back and now I'm constantly going again. Great gym and atmosphere. Employees are nice and greet you faithfully when entering and leaving. I do miss it being 24hrs though. I do believe them closing early will eventually lead me to get a membership somewhere else but if that doesn't bother you then this is a great gym for you.

Negative experience: scam. I signed up and then ended up moving away, I never even used my membership. I called and told them I moved and wasn’t able to stay a member and they told me no problem to just email corporate, so I sent corporate my info along with a bull in my name with my new address and they said I’m not eligible to cancel?? even though they said moving was an acceptable reason? now it’s 2 months later and they are still stealing my money. corrupt. beware.

Positive experience: The gym is absolutely wonderful, I only give 4 stars because they use the same business model as other commercial gyms - They have a 30 day cancellation policy to make sure they get another month’s payment before you leave also the typical “I cancelled but they still charge me monthly” stories abound. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give any commercial gym your bank account to sign up - you will be subject to their extra charges. Use a card instead that you can cancel. This is not unique to this gym but it’s pretty standard industry practice. But again the gym is amazing and has everything you need.

Negative experience: Unless u go right when they open it’s ran by kids which makes sense bc the sauna floor is disgusting always like black marks locker doors are off seems like they are steadily loosing equipment or a machine is broken they are also not 24 hr like sign outside says and they also close at like 7 on weekends , the big one is also packed tf out like no machine available and similar problems to the express the place where bodyplex used to be is 24hr and is newly remodeled I suggest that place as your next location that you try

Fantastic experience: Great club and staff, very clean and well run.

Negative experience: I signed up for a year membership and six months of swim lessons. They lied and said the swim lessons would not renew after six months but they were put on my card for a year like the membership only as $200 a month extra. Not worth it. The swim teacher seemed bored with her job. She never remembered anything I told her about my asthma or cramps I get and always tried to push me past it to swim. She was not patient. She always over shared about her life and wanted me to listen as she always sat beside the pool in plain clothes and never got in to help me and told me she would jump in on her clothes if I needed help. I never got water comfortable. I never learned the basic skills. Many times she didn't show up for classes which I paid $200 a month in advance at $25 per 30 minute lesson. It was a waste of my time and money. Horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I have had such a great experience with this one life express that I would personally like to thank Mr. Casey croker for his outstanding performance and dedication to this gym and company. He has personally changed this entire gym around and has improved almost ever aspect of it and serves us customers and employees with great honor and respect. You will not find many GMs that makes the difference Mr Casey has made for my personal experience with one life or other customers experience. Thank you very much Mr. Croker and I hope to see you move up in this industry to further make a bigger difference for the entire one life company. I encourage anyone and everyone to give the express one life your time and dedication aswell as your hard earned money because this gym takes you very seriously and actually genuinely cares for your experience. I will be recommending everyone I know to obtain a membership here at this gym.

Fantastic experience: The gym is great. It's never as packed as the other gym and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best thing is they have Specialty bars other gyms don't have. I would recommend 10/10.

Negative experience: One star simply because it has squat racks and deadlift platforms otherwise would be 0/5 stars. First and foremost, not open 24/7 anymore? Has the same hours as the main one across the street with less equipment. What's the point? I asked and it never fully reopened after COVID. Might as well cancel and go to snap 24/7 down the street. Equipment has been used and abused and it shows. Membership dues go to what exactly? Not open24/7, poor equipment maintenance, and a fraction of the size of the main one? This gym has gone down hill since it was Atlanta fitness but even then the hours were better and we got a better deal out of it. This gym is garbage

Negative experience: When am I going to get back my refund? Now is $40 charging my card, when I cancel on the 7 day trial you gave me (I went two days after it started and used it only 1 time) and when I talked to the GM she said she will take care of it. It’s been two months and they keep charging me. I know you said is a different company that does that but your the one responsible to make sure they stop charging money on peoples cards. I read your reviews about people having this issue and I still wanted to give it a try. Very upsetting. I need that money back ASAP.

Fantastic experience: My personal experience at One Life has been absolutely wonderful. Finally got with a great trainer (Mario Render) that really works with me on scheduling and my goals. Always respectful and such a great person overall to have on my side. The gym is the perfect size and the atmosphere is welcoming. Love this place!!

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t impressed by this club at first but the new GM “ Casey “ has turned this place around and then some.. This gym is VERY clean, the staff is incredibly attentive and the atmosphere is wonderful! Big thanks to Casey and his team for helping me to really get my fitness journey going and ultimately changing my life for the better!

Positive experience: Fairly nice gym but part of the reason I joined several years ago was because of the extended hours of this facility, but now they close at 10pm which definitely decreases the desire to choose this gym. I might as well utilize SnapFitness for 24 hour access.

Positive experience: Love the gym. The personnel are very helpful and kind. Pretty clean for the most part besides dust in hard to reach areas of the machines. Only concerns are that: - I have mentioned a few times about some bolts on the "pectoral fly" machine needing tightening a few times and it's still loose. - The wood trim, mainly in the green room, needs to be re-nailed down. It could fall when getting mats off the rack.

Positive experience: Why isn’t this a 24 hr Gym? Or at least open earlier?

Positive experience: Well for most part I think this gym is great except for it use to be 24 hours and only up until 6 Saturday and Sunday.. At least make it until 8pm guys

Fantastic experience: Nick fixed my bike! The handle bar on my bike was loose and Nick went to the back and found a wrench to fix it before he even knew I was a member. The staff is great, personable and welcoming. They use up to date equipment, always clean facility (bathroom and sauna), and even during popular times of the day the gym isn’t too crowed. Smoothies are good too. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: The gym is always every clean and well equipped. Even though it's smaller than other locations, it's also very spacious. So, you don't feel like you're on top of other people. There's always good music playing, as well. The staff is always nice, too. I was clumsy today and spilt my smoothie everywhere by accident. A worker came up and helped clean it up. Didn't even seem mad about it. He was very nice and understanding. I'd just like to say thank you for that! Definitely recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: Very great environment. The staff and the members are very nice and friendly. It’s a pretty good size gym and they have almost every equipment to workout your body. When ever I am there, it is pretty clean. If you want to join I recommend you ask for Zen or Nick. Overall, I definitely advise you to join!

Negative experience: This company steals your money. They abused being closed down by COVID and still charged your account. You try to cancel and they say “we don’t have record of that” while still charging your account and adding fees. Customer service is horrible and I advise no one ever uses this company. My wife and I tried to cancel in April of 2020 and they have still been charging my account as of July 2021!

Negative experience: DO NOT SIGN UP HERE They will sign you into a one year agreement, it will say 11 payments of x-amount and expires a year from your sign up date. Sounds easy right? Wrong. They will continue to charge you after the date specified as membership expiration, oh and they won’t inform you that your membership is being renewed. Guess how they can justify its legality? They put in the left of the contract, not highlighted, not bolded, only capped so it might catch the eye. It reads they they can charge you month to month without notice. You won’t be informed by the salesperson signing you up, there won’t be an email or phone call telling you that you membership is going to auto renew, you won’t even be asked. Is it legal? Appears to be, but it is an extremely scummy practice and I will advise everyone to stay away from a business that willingly attempts to swindle money from customers

Fantastic experience: The people are friendly the services is on point, the staff is excellent

Negative experience: Beware, they will charge you a maintenance fee even if you cancel your membership. You cannot cancel your membership on branch you have to call a number that is only open Monday through Friday but they don't care if that falls into your 30 day notice. They will continue to bill you even after removing your bank information with their 3rd party billing. Causing you the headache of having to file fraudulent charges against their poor practices.

Fantastic experience: Super great place! Small but everyone is friendly! The staff is helpful! This place is very clean!! I highly recommend for anyone that wants to have a membership but can’t pay an arm and a leg for one! Onelife is very affordable!!

Negative experience: After being fooled at the counter of what I was signing up for, I ended up getting caught into a 1 year agreement contract that I can't get out of with this gym. Partially my fault that I did not request a copy but I was assured that it was a month-to-month and that I could cancel at any time by the associate and my friend. A member can cancel, but here is a $60 cancellation fee which is ridiculous. The child care facility is extremely poor. My wife was constantly interrupted during her workout by the staff who could not watch our 1 year old son. They also will not change diapers or apparently can't entertain a small child. Machines are sometimes broken down and their is exposed electrical outlets which I would think would be an OSHA Violation. Bathrooms are usually clean, but I have seen clogs where the urinals spill out onto the floors. My wife and children ended up joining the YMCA which is NOT a one year contract and has excellent child care facilities. They do change diapers, will play with the kids, and have lots of different programs that are family friendly. I highly recommend going there for families.

Positive experience: All of the necessary equipment to get a good workout in. Sometimes it is a bit colder than I prefer during an exercise session. Equipment was relatively clean & the environment was friendly.

Negative experience: I am not happy with my experience. One of the associates was very rude and yelled at me when I came into the door.. Very unprofessional.
