Fantastic experience: The morning of my estimated due date (pregnancy), I "tweaked" my back. As the day went on the spasms in my back got so painful I couldn't move without tears. Luckily, I was able to make a last minute appointment to come in. I met with Dr. CJ DeFabio who assessed and treated me with gentle care and consideration for my pain as well as my pregnancy. I arrived to my appointment barely able to move, scared, and feeling totally helpless and left the appointment feeling reassured, hopeful, and able to move with much more ease and less pain. I am so glad to have made the call to the office and even more grateful for the care provided.

Fantastic experience: I have been suffering on and off with back issues and was hesitant to go anywhere after a bad experience. I can’t say how impressed I am with this practice. They listened to my concerns and approached me with a conservative regiment of treatment. The staff is experienced and understand the issues and proper treatment. Fantastic experience: 4th or 5th chiropractor I've seen, every chiropractor I've been to in the past left me feeling unadjusted and sometimes worse than I was. Defabio will be the last chiropractor I will ever need. I leave Defabios feeling positive, adjusted, and informed. Dr Defabio did so many different techniques to help my back and hips, way beyond anything any other chiropractor tried in the past. 1st Dr to notice my legs where not even. He did his magic and brought my legs to about as even as it could get, then measured me for shoe inserts to balance me out. I can now stand and walk for long periods of time with little to no pain at all. Before Dr. Defabio, I couldn't stand more than 5min without serious pain somewhere in my body. He’s long supported the community with his services in the way of sponsorship for 5K’s and ergonomic movement. He is an educator through and through; offering space to inspiring chiropractors, guiding them to go on in their journeys. Fantastic experience: The kindest and most caring doctors! The facility is state of the art. They also sell supplements and show educational videos. The receptionist is so sweet and accommodating. I’ve been to chiropractors who spend 2 minutes doing the same adjustments every visit or insist you commit and pay for 3 months in advance. Here, Defabio chiropractic gives each patient the time and attention they deserve to get their needs met.

Fantastic experience: The BEST!!!! Dr DeFabio is not only knowledgeable and caring but he connected to my teenage son in a way no other doctor did! He walk into the office in pain and cranky, he left there smiling, reading the brochure about anti inflammatory foods and changing his phone’s Lock Screen to a purple picture as the Dr suggested to use that color as a reminder for him to fix his posture. I’m so thankful and happy we went to Dr DeFabio to treat my son’s back pain as he did a complete análisis of his body and previous knee injuries and gave as very clear feedback and an easy and efficient plan to follow.

Fantastic experience: Was recommended by a friend at the gym to visit Defabio for acupuncture with Dr Amanda. Had a great experience and my wife went as well. We both visit regularly for chiro & physical therapy when needed. Dr Mike and Dr Slade are top notch.

Negative experience: I have a worst experience from this practice. Doctors are very knowledgeable and professional. I am talking about the manager Vanessa Lynch. I had a car accident last year and had been recommended by my primary doctor to get a treatment on this facility. On the front desk Jill, Tammy and Vanessa had not explained to me my payment plan at all. As a matter of fact after doctor Mike provided me a full treatment, they started to sent me a bill one after another. They had not explained to me my EOB for each bill, were rude to me, hanged up the phone on me. The manager Vanessa Lynch kicked me out of facility and had not let me talk to the doctor when I came there. What is this? And they consider to be professionals??? I would not recommend to anybody to go there.

Fantastic experience: Thirty years ago I had a serious car accident. The visible injuries healed but as I aged the scar tissue and arthritis became debilitating. The pain and weakness in my lower leg and ankle negatively hampered my quality of life. Traditional medicine offered medication and surgery. I wanted to limit medication and try to find a treatment that was non invasive and in my mind less traumatic. I was recommended to Dr. Defabio. His knowledgeable, patient care have given me back my mobility. The introduction of the winback has enhanced my treatment and well being. The staff are wonderful. There is a professional and calming atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. The Doctors are all very knowledgeable and work in unison to treat and heal. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dr. DeFabio and the team for a bit over 6 months now, and I must say it has been life changing. Each member of the team makes me feel so welcome and heard about my pain and they *genuinely* want you to feel better and will make sure you don’t leave until you do!! Dr. Mike has been helping me with a lower back and hip issue the last 6 weeks and each time I leave I think about how grateful I am that I found this place. Everyone is super friendly, and they take care of you at all times. Dr De Fabio is very knowledgeable. His evaluation on the first day is very detailed and explains to you precisely what is happening and how to recover from whatever injury or pain you have. Dr Mike has been treating me in the past month, and my upper back/neck improvement has been spectacular. They take time with each patient, and you will never feel rushed, like in other practices. Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. De Fabio for shingles nerve pain. I didn't think I would ever get relief! After a couple of visits with Dr. D, I was so much better! Fantastic experience: I recently attended a Continuing Education Seminar in which Dr. DeFabio was the speaker. It was extremely educational, dynamic and interactive. His knowledge and expertise is amazing and it was a definite take it to work with you Monday seminar! Strongly recommend attending a seminar if you are a Chiropractor or if you are a patient around the Jersey area look him up! Either way you will not be sorry you did! Loved it!

Fantastic experience: I have seen about 15 orthopedists, podiatrists, osteopaths and physical therapists altogether and Dr DeFabio is the only person who helped me. I live near Washington DC but drove up to see him after finding his YouTube videos. I developed severe pain in both shins, after one or two shifts at work where I was standing for 13 hours. The pain was in the lower inside area of my shins, not typical shin splints, and I was unable to work for about 4 months. First an MRI was done by an orthopedist which showed a stress reaction, which is like a precursor to a stress fracture, in both legs. The injury healed somewhat with rest but I quickly reinjured it with another double shift. I was literally unable to walk for about 3 months, due to this excruciating pain that had no explanation. I was under the impression I had a stress fracture, but it did not appear to be healing. Anyways after a second MRI that was normal (no stress fracture) and 3 different orthopedic surgeons who told me “there’s nothing wrong with you, rest for two weeks and go back to work” I was still in excruciating pain in my lower shins and had no real explanation why. I finally ended up seeing Dr DeFabio and he did some treatments to my legs, adjustments, and gave me exercises which actually worked. He listened to me and spent time with me to explain the process of rebuilding strength and helping me to understand what was wrong with me. He also gave me shoe advice. All of these things have allowed me to go back to work. For the first time I was able to begin to live a normal life and heal my legs. Thank you so much Dr. DeFabio, without you I wouldn’t be able to walk or to work!!

Fantastic experience: Acupuncturist Amanda Occhipinti is amazing! She has the unique ability as a healthcare practioner to balance compassion and firmness in the care of her patients. I have been seeing her since she began her practice, and she has successfully treated me for a variety of ailments including high blood pressure, digestive issues, a shoulder injury , and hip pain. She recenlty detected an infection I had for several weeks that went untreated. Her professionalism, care, firmness and encouragement in having me seek immediate medical treatment saved me from a potentially very serious situation-thank you Amanda!

Fantastic experience: I had been seeing a chiropractor who was treating my running pain as muscle stiffness. I was not improving but kept getting worse. I was referred to Dr. DeFabio through Drew University's AD. On my first visit Dr. DeFabio discovered that I was not suffering from stiff muscles but that I had a degenerated L5 disk. That changed the treatment and the results. Dr. D got me to the place where I could run again and has kept me in good health for many years. I recently moved to Pennsylvania and realize even more the value of Dr. DeFabio and his staff. I'm still trying to find a chiropractor who is half as good as he is. He and his staff are gems.
