Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Chicago Weigh Loss and Wellness clinic for a few years now. Before CoVid I was a professional belly dancer teaching and performing in the Chicago area. Then CoVid happened and I gained a LOT of weight and had stopped dancing because I was ashamed of my body and also no longer fit into my costumes by a long shot! After CoVid I weighed 325 pounds (that’s me in black at my heaviest) and couldn’t keep up with my kids or do most things I wanted to do and struggled with activities of daily living. I knew something had to change and I wanted my life back and needed help doing that. I started HCG at the clinic and made great progress but it took determination. I lost 60 pounds then gained a bit back then another round of HCG lost a bunch then gained a little back. I only gained when I didn’t follow the prescribed diet so that was my fault but they never gave up on me. Every time I went in they were kind and encouraging. They never judged me when I messed up and instead problem solved and helped me get back on track. Over the last few years I have lost nearly 150 pounds! I finished my last round of HCG and am just a few pounds short of my goal. Now I’m taking Monjaro and should be between 160-170 soon. I’m so close to my goal and I know I can get there and maintain it with the help of the team at the clinic. My weight loss journey has not been a straight line. I’ve gone up and down with steady progress, encouragement, and a willingness to keep my goal in mind not just of my weight but of my family. Along the way with the help of Julie, Barbara, Ady, and Dr Thakkar and all his team I have changed my lifestyle and have learned how to eat healthy. Now I’m dancing professionally again and proudly fit into my pre CiVid costumes! The picture of me dancing in the mint green costume at a dance event was just taken about a week or so ago and I am am so proud of myself for getting as far as I have. However, most importantly I’m spending lots of quality time with my family and no longer feel like a burden. My journey is not over. I still have more to learn about long term maintenance but I know the team will teach and support me as I transition into this new phase. They are available throughout your journey with all your questions answered asap. And mainly i lost about 46-47 Lbs in just 50 Days or even less . This is the only place where you can approximately lose 1 pound a day. I feel 10000 times better then what i was before , more energetic, more enthusiasm and less tired or even not tired at all. Just strictly follow their given instructions on your plan and stick to it 1000% you will see great results at the end.Have patience which I didn’t had but at last i was shocked . Fantastic experience: I came here after seeing multiple care providers over the course of a year, and them ALL suggesting exercise and diet- which I told them ALL I was already doing. Fantastic experience: I started coming here in March. I had about 15-20 lbs to lose and was nearing my 40th birthday. I couldn't stand the thought of my big birthday coming with all this excess weight. I was working out twice a day trying to do it on my own. It was my husband who said you are working way too hard at this you should find a doctor. I found Dr Thakkar on Google with so many good reviews. He his super polite and has a friendly team. I did the HCG Diet for 28 days and have lost 18+ lbs. I am So happy with the maintenance program working with Barbara. I recommend their IV Detox treatments too.

Fantastic experience: I came here after being diagnosed with high blood pressure at 24 years old, hoping to lose some weight and hopefully reverse my diagnosis. Both my general doctor and the specialists at the clinic were hopeful that I would be able to be rid of my symptoms if I just shed some weight and started to work towards being healthier. Well, I started at 223 pounds, and I'm under 200 pounds for the first time in over 5 years! I am now at 197, and it only took me 6 weeks to do so. I'm still on my journey to my goal weight, but I've been given the tools necessary to continue my progress. I did the rapid weight loss program, which involves injecting yourself with HCG in the stomach daily. You are only allowed to eat 500 calories a day, with no carbs, sugar, or fats. It can sound intimidating at first, and I was skeptical of the legitimacy of the protocol, but it worked great! There are tons of great alternatives to ingredients you might be missing, and if you are creative enough you can make the diet a lot easier. One of my own personal favorite recipes that I came up with is a creamy tomato basil soup with blended fat-free cottage cheese and some Melba toasts for dipping on the side. Staying positive and determined is a big part of this diet, and it isn't a "magic" fix. You need to stick with the limitations you are given, and NO cheating! Thankfully, the staff at the clinic are super friendly, supportive, and readily available to answer questions during most parts of the week. They have never once made me feel ashamed for my weight or health, and have cheered me on with every little achievement. If you are like me and have tried dieting to little success, this might be the place for you! It can be super helpful to have a clear structure and plan to follow, and it can be even more helpful to have people there to hold you accountable. I haven't cheated a single time while on this diet! The only other thing I feel I should mention is that the program can be a little pricey, with 6 weeks being around 800-1000$, depending on how your program is personalized to you. But, it's worth noting that the clinic tries to work within your budget, and they have multiple different kinds of programs outside of the HCG protocol. I'd highly recommend you give them a shot regardless! Consultations are totally free if you are curious and want to test the waters. Either way, I'm now 26 pounds lighter and I can't wait to lose more! :) 170 here I come!!
