Fantastic experience: Very clean, well Maintained equipment unlike the Crunch Fitness next to Regal Cinema. Professional staff.
Positive experience: The machines are fine, they could be newer but I see the changes happening slowly. The staff is great, always friendly and professional. My biggest complaint is there is way too many high school children. There is also like middle schoolers? Sometimes they look even younger than that. In the spring months there seems to be an increase in certain kinds of people who come to the gym just to hang out and monopolize the machines. There is a lack of gym etiquette. The gym could be open both earlier and later- like the other location. However, this gym is very convenient for me.
Fantastic experience: The gym equipment is excellent and well maintained. It's also laid our very well with plenty of space between machines. The staff is helpful, friendly and very professional.

Positive experience: Ive been going to this gym for about 16 months. My main reason for going is convenience. I feel it’s too expensive for the hours it’s open, the size, and what it has to offer. Some little things they could do is enforce the gym etiquette, get more little accessories like dip belts, and more pulley attachments, things in that category. Overall though I usually have a decent workout, I do try to go at early non-busy hours.

Fantastic experience: Went in on Thursday evening to try out the gym and to my surprise it is such a clean gym and a very nice staff too, the young guy at the front desk was super helpful and explained everything nicely, not too crowded and overall pleasant experience. I noticed a lady was constantly walking around cleaning which was nice to see since most gyms just clean once at the end of the night if that. I recommend

Negative experience: Gym is cool cause it doesn't get backed HOWEVER right now it's 21:39. 9/10/24. The guy at the front said the smoothie bar is closed pretty much cause he's watching the debaTE. this is UNACCEPTABLE.

Thanks for the great review. Yes, sometimes the Koko room is empty at times, however we do have clients that are part of the Koko program that access the room at different times. Your suggestion is a consideration when the time ever comes.

Positive experience: The facility is huge and well equipped. Not a lot of gyms have a sauna. I’ve never had to wait for a machine or rack to open. Everyone in my family and some extended, have been going here for yearssss! It’s a great gym and I’ve always like that it was lowkey, because it doesn’t get packed.

Positive experience: 1. Gym is average, but within walking distance so that's an extra star. 2. Staff doesn't reply to messages with receptionist and doesn't reply to emails. Customer service is not that great compared to other gyms. Main reason I didn't rate the gym higher. 3. App needs a lot of work. You can register for a class an hour before it starts. No way to pay for the class through the app though.

Since reopening after covid we have worked very hard with a full repainting of the gym, full refurbishing of all the pads, and many new pieces of equipment have been ordered with more on the way as we speak! We have been documented as one of the cleanest gyms in the area and our customer service has been excellent...however you bring up a good point of a few missed messages we apologize and we will work harder to make sure that your messages are returned. Fantastic experience: i have been going here for about a year and i love the energy in the gym. Everyone in the gym is nice especially the manager and staff all i wish is that they would add new machines but overall this gym is one of a kind in my heart.
Fantastic experience: Before anything, this gym has a very friendly and supportive community where it is easy to make friends and get advice from more experienced lifters. There are not many gyms out there that are like this. On top of the community, the staff is also respectful and eager to help. As for the equipment, this gym provides everything that is needed for weightlifting as well as cardio machines, stretching areas, and punching bags. Overall, I have had a great experience at club metro.

Fantastic experience: This gym is CLEAN and all patrons are courteous. I've been to many other gyms, a few high end and this has been by far the best overall gym I've been to. All sorts of people go here from younger high school kids, athletes, older people, and "soccer mom" types. Equipment is plentiful and in good working order at all times. Things are fixed immediately when they go down. The cleaning lady does an amazing job and the locker rooms are beyond clean. People are friendly and the staff is also very friendly and not trying to sell 800 things. I get in, do what I've got to do, and leave. Can't say enough about this place other than I'm really sad that I am moving soon. I really hope I can find another gym run this well but I highly doubt it. This place has been very good to me for a year and a half. My favorite gym I've ever been to hands down.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym since before the pandemic began. This is a solid gym. The only thing I care about is being able to get in, get my workout on and getting out. Everyone who goes to this gym is super nice. You even have a few skin heads who are pretty nice. I really wish people would re rack their weights but other than that, it’s a great gym.

Fantastic experience: Posted last week about cancellation issues and account being sent to collections after my partner tried to cancel membership in person last October when they were opened at 50 percent capacity. Coming in to the branch was helpful as Troy took a vested interest in what happened and explained that billing isn't handled internally. There were clear hiccups that prevented our case from being processed the way it typically would for example they said they emailed several times when we have Zero emails from the billing company even after searching trash. Troy is very passionate about his business and made the call to the collections agency to have them remove the case. Debbie followed up this morning to confirm that she emailed them also and went above and beyond to apologize and try to resolve any I'll feelings that came as a result of this experience. I changed my rating to 5 stars because I believe how problems are handled is the most critical factor in business and customer service.

Negative experience: My partner physically went into the gym and cancelled his membership and was still being charged afterwards. Now he has a collector contacting him and a report on his credit report saying he owes and balance for a membership he doesn't have!!! The cancellation was done since last year during the pandemic. He had intentions of rejoining when things got back to normal some time this year. This experience has left a horrendous taste in our mouths. Will not be returning to this gym.
Dear, Vanessa, I would like to know the name of your partner so we can look into the situation. Since the closing, Club Metro USA has been at the pinnacle of cleanliness and customer service. Our facilty has had multiple reviews from The Franklin Reporter to Mens Journal Magazine. It is impossible for him to have canceled during the pandemic since our gym was closed and all billing was shut off. As per the contract, he would have to mail in a letter of cancelation during our closure. If there is an issue please call us immediatley and ask for Troy or Debbie we will be happy to assist you.
Fantastic experience: This is a great gym with a super diverse crowd. You have your gym rats, you class rats, your cardio crew and a bunch of newbies to the gym. The vibe is great, I get in, get my workout on, everyone cleans their machines after use... we have to workout re-racking weights but that would be my only complaint.
Negative experience: people hog cable machine in the middle for over an hr
Positive experience: Had billing issues recently and to my surprise the account was sent to collection. However, after I called the management, they called me back and sorted out the issue with the collection agency. A Shoutout to Deb for taking care of that.
Rana, billing is handled outside the club by ABC Fitness. Did you contact them? The information can be found on the front page of your membership. We will gladly help you, if they weren't able, however they should be since they do all the billing for clubs. The manager will be at the Club Monday morning, we will gladly look into it for you.
Fantastic experience: Disgusted! I recently moved from Kendall Park during the pandemic, and I tried to contact them several times to close my account, but couldn’t reach a real person nor know the date when they reopen as the gym was closed during that time and an automated vague message was posted. I didn’t even know when they opened now they sent my account to collections to only hurt my credit score. After doing several hops between calls with the gym reception and the collection’s people, I just decided to pay it off. These people make it easy to join them, but a night mare when it comes to let you leave them, as they say that I have to be physically present at their office in order to close the account. Such a messed up place for a party avg gym.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond elated with the new management. Since Troy Perez has stepped in and taken over, I’ve seen fantastic changes with the gym. Most important, is the safety measures set in place right now due to Covid. As a loyal patron of the gym, and a personal training client, I’ve felt very comfortable here. Anytime I’m at the establishment working out, there is a cleaning crew there sanitizing and cleaning making it a fresh and comfortable atmosphere to get back on my fitness and wellness journey. There are new machines, new flooring, fresh paint and overall, incredibly immaculate. The staff are friendly. For anyone who is on the fence about getting back, as someone who is immune compromised, getting back is the BEST thing I could be doing right now to prevent getting sick. I love Club Metro FP.. it feels more like a local establishment than some of it’s competition. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Thank you Troy and the team for giving us a path back to accomplishing our goals! Love the Metro Fit Fam!
Fantastic experience: So of course after a pandemic, you're super nervous about going to the gym and really just having a facility that is going to be clean. CMFP is so beyond transparent about everything. The owner was even getting the gym ready from MARCH (and posted evidence of this so I'm not making it up) UNTIL SEPT 1 when they were allowed to open back up! When people were concerned about being indoors, they even made a plan to do OUTDOOR CLASSES!! AND FIGURED IT OUT AND STARTED CLASSES (with a whole schedule and everything) IN LESS THAN A WEEK FROM WHEN IT WAS REQUESTED. Like talk about an affordable gym that cares about your overall health... if you have any concerns at all... you can talk to the owner, he really does listen. side note: even though there is a limit to the amount of ppl that can come to the gym, this place is super underrated and you will have space to yourself.. did i mention the 100 bottles of sanitation spray??? but seriously everyone. sign up. you won't regret it
Negative experience: Coming back from The pandemic they are desperate to take the money and require 30 days notice to cancel while they just open. Basically they want to take additional monthly fee without any right so they can keep running. It’s so easy to get in but it’s hard to break their contract, since they want you to physically go there to cancel and want you to give 30 days notice while they were closed. Unlike other GYMS that wave the cancellation fee due to the pandemic. I will think twice before joining.
Fantastic experience: Kevin was very helpful at the front desk, gave us a tour of the facility and answered all questions we had. Club was clean and not too busy, would recommend if in the area.
Negative experience: This gym is just horrible. Every month they charge me extra and when I go and ask they say it’s the annual fee. it’s a SCAM . Don’t go and register .
This Business is under new management as of June 2019. It has been completely restored, repainted and the members are very satisfied. My door is always open if you'd like to stop by. Thank you!
Positive experience: This gym is conveniently located to my residence. For the equipment I need, they are in good shape. The sauna is a plus, would be better if cleaned more often. There's a few things to improve on: 1. Need to enforce the "Wipe off your sweat" rule. I have never, ever seen anyone wipe after themselves after using a piece of equipment. I'm always doing double the work - wipe before and after. 2. The lighting is a little too dim. 3. There's a theater, but a lot of machines inside are not working and nobody goes in there. I feel this room could have been utilized better.

Positive experience: I have been going to club Metro gym for the past 6 years, the gym is ok especially for convenience. The Spin class & Total body circuit classes taught by Mary O'Connor are a must try and the best.
Positive experience: The gym is very convenient to where I live, which is nice. It's close enough to walk in the summer. But almost no one, NO ONE, racks their weights. It's difficult to find weights because of this. It also makes it difficult to know if people are done.
Negative experience: I have been a member for few years and I can certainly say that gym is a nice convenient location. They also offer ton of classes for people who are interested in more than just cardio and weights. It’s a friendly and generally clean place. Reasons for 2 star 1. Equipments are not serviced promptly. TV on cardio machines don’t work almost all the time. Few equipments with broken handles. 2. Gym needs little more decipline and they need to enforce “put your weights back” rule more firmly. It is very inconvenient for people with busy schedule. This hasn’t not changed at all in 2-3 years I have been a member. 3. Only 1 water fountain in a whole gym. Warm water during summer. Will see if that changes this summer. 4. There needs to be an employee who needs to be re racking the weights or telling people to put their weights back after workouts I would love to give 4-5 starts and support a local gym but above issues are real and need attention.

Positive experience: This is great gym. Friendly staff, clean gym. However cardios don't function sometimes like touch screen don't work all the time. I unplug and plug connector and it starts working. I have one suggestion for this gym. If gym is open 24 hours a day that would be great. It will be most convenience and will make customer happy too. I can make my friends join club too. Its convenience for people who work late and still want to workout.

Fantastic experience: Love at 2nd sight! I live in the area and I was looking for a gym that is close enough to my home to make it worth going to. I pass this gym all the time and I have even went in. So when I saw a Groupon I seized the opportunity to use the facility and really make an assessment of it. It was really the simple things I liked that made all the difference. The machines have counters, that is different. The machines also have connectors for my older model IPOD, thats cool! The locker room is clean and spacious, and there is a sauna. The machines have instructions on them. That sounds unimportant but who the hell wants to ask people around them every 5 minutes how to operate the equipment. And finally, I found the front desk always friendly and helpful. I think I just may sign on the dotted line.

Positive experience: Nice facility but often over crowded since another local gym closed. Shake bar is convienent and delicious but I ask for and extra scoop of protein which is an upcharge and only 2/3's of the shake fits in a cup, so I'm only getting 2/3s of the protein I'm paying for. They need larger cups instead of handing out the rest of my shake as samples.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff! Love that they added the protein shake bar, however this gym is starting to get way overcrowded at night and you have to wait to use machine. They should really consider expanding the gym and keeping up with the maintenance of the machines. If they got rid of the "theater room" where they so call play movies that would be a huge help!

We have considered expanding the gym or transitioning the cardio theater, but there are many people who really enjoy that amenity. Regarding the maintenance, is there anything in particular that comes to mind? As the owner, I personally stay on top of that every day (for instance, the leg press broke the other day and it was fixed in no time!). Fantastic experience: I wanted to mention that I am very happy with Club Metro. I started using that location almost 20 years ago when it was originally Lifestyles Fitness, then later NYSC but left when this location closed. I was happy to see it re-open as Club Metro. I find that the club is kept super clean and the equipment is new and kept in good condition. Whenever I have found a problem with any of the cardio machines once I mention it, they have if repaired super quick. My overall experience with Club Metro has been terrific. I also want to add that the staff is always friendly which is a nice addition. The place is a great value. I am really happy that I joined. Thank You.
Negative experience: Club Metro's Manager Joe is the most discourteous person I have ever encountered. They were happy to process my membership but was very rude and obnoxious when i called to cancel my membership. Joe refused to give me a credit even they deducted monthly fees when I cancelled the membership. The gym itself was beautiful but the Manager Joe is a PIG!!!!
Positive experience: Nice facility, nice layout, New but different easy to use machines and good selection of equipment. Work out free twice before being approached on membership.
