Fantastic experience: Take it from me, this is my last year of the 50's, I am post-menopausal, +30 pounds with a muffin top. Well after my first 12 weeks, I am down 12 pounds and with no muffin top. The best part of Physicians Weight Loss Center is my Coach. She is encouraging, helps me to redirect when I get stuck and is there for me and solely focused on me. I am going to continue on this journey until I reach my goal. This has been my best success in the last ten years.

Individuals control what kind of food goes in their mouth so you have to be serious about your goals. If you are serious you will meet your weight loss goals with the help of this program.

Negative experience: One of the worst places I have even been for weight loss. They say Physician weight loss and you never see any physician at all. Only a lady at the desk which she diagnosed, make plan and inspection. Beside that you sign up for a 3 months plan, paid for it then figure out you have to pay almost $1,000 each month. I am so disappointed in them. I didn’t lose any weight and this medicine caused me depression.

Negative experience: Have to give 1 star only to allow me to write this review. One of the worst services ever I came across. Please be aware and stay away from them. I purchased B12 vitamin injections in Jan2023. I just got one injection so far until oct 2023 out of 5. When ever i visit them they are closed always, I visited about 6 separate times, I tried calling them at least 20-30 times each time to only hear a response of we are serving other patients, please return my money if you cannot provide the service. I tried reaching out to the stores/offices next to this office to check if they are open and why they are not lifting the call, they helped my but these folks never, please return back my money with all the time i have invested.

Fantastic experience: It is a pleasure working with PWL Raleigh. With Crystals help, I have been able to successively meet my weight goal. She provided excellent diet counseling and information on services available keeping in mind each client’s individual needs while explaining each phase of the process carefully.

Fantastic experience: Continuously help my family mange and lose weight. They have effective products to help curb appetite and provide nutrients needed. I want to respond to the comments about Crystal’s personality. Crystal 100% likes her job and care about the ppl who want help. Her personality isn’t the typical bubbly / welcoming type but it’s not fair to assume the comments that have been made about her. It makes me wonder if the ppl complaining are finding an excuse to not be serious about losing weight.

Fantastic experience: I got married in November, I knew i was fat, but didn't realize exactly how fat until my wedding pictures showed up right after Christmas. I saw those pictures and said, "wow, i'm going to die." I am just over 6 feet tall, and assumed I weighted about 350 pounds. I panicked and googled weight loss centers, and found this one. January 4th 2023 I went in and was shocked, horrified, embarrassed that I actually weighted 401 pounds. On the spot I set a goal of getting to 200 pounds. I signed up for 20 weeks (knowing that wouldn't be enough and I would need to do another 20 weeks or more). The first 20 weeks I lost 111.5 pounds, I am 10 weeks into my second round now, and down another 37 pounds as of today. (The two pictures are from my wedding last November, and about 1 minute ago in my bathroom mirror) The first 20 weeks I averaged just over 5 pounds a week, this second go round I am averaging about 3.5 pounds per week. Extremely happy with the program. I have another 52 pounds to go to get to my original goal and on my current pace, i'll probably be about 10-15 pounds away from that when my second 20 weeks ends. Which is fine, it isn't a race, will 100% sign back up and do another 12 or 20 or whatever it takes to get there. I feel a ton better, I can do a lot more with my kids and, theoretically, i'm going to live a lot longer. Highly recommend the program, Miss Crystal has been great. Very helpful and supportive. The shakes are good, the protein bars are good, and if you follow directions and stick with it, you will do fine.

Negative experience: I am writing this review to confirm what many others say. I wish I would read the reviews before going to this clinic. I started with B12 shots which it was mainly to see how the routine and service was to be done on a weekly basis. Crystal has no personality nor is a customer driven person. She is not happy to serve anyone. All she is a body there. I purchased a 12 weeks shots which I ended up not even completing for the fact that this place is Terrible. I will not recommend anyone this place.

Negative experience: I don't usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but I really needed share my experience. I was met at the desk by Crystal the manager who looked less than thrilled to be working. She brought me back and I weighed in and she literally handed me my stats and told me their program. There was no discussion about myself or my goals. She didn't inquire about my eating habits or anything. She had zero personality and I did not feel comfortable or welcome. Will not be going back or recommending anyone to go their.

Fantastic experience: The physicians Weight loss in Raleigh is awesome! Having me on a healthy program and now I'm down 14.5 pounds in 3 weeks. I feel good and have so much energy than before! The staff is amazing very friendly and attentive to my needs for me to stay on track.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place! i started the program not really knowing what to expect because I have never been consistent with any diet or exercise program. However, they have helped me lose nearly 20 pounds and I KNOW I would have lost more but I went on vacation for 2 weeks and my mother was cooking so I couldn't say no to her food. sigh...they not only offer diet programs but also Lipogenics which burns fat through a laser. I would recommend the Lipotropic injections/B12 as well because I have noticed energy increase when I do get them. The person that did my consultation is Crystal and she is amazing, very helpful! Fantastic experience: My first experience with a weight loss clinic ever was with PWLC and Dulce conducted my appointment. She was thorough and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision about how to change my life and my awful habits of eating the wrong foods. Negative experience: My husband and I used this facility last year, and while we lost the weight the menu is completely boring and the supplements cost a ton. No recipes to lighten things up were ever offered, and support outside of coming in once a week for weigh in and injections was never given, or even offered. We also paid for injections up front to correlate with our program. I had to quit the program early for medical reasons and when I called back to see about getting the remainder of my injections, they said they had "documentation" showing i received all of mine. Seeing as how I was told I still had 4 weeks left, plus two that my husband "transferred" over to me before I had to quit, I'd say that's horse poo, and they basically robbed us. But it's ok...they had documentation. I've kept the weight off using Weight Watchers online...so much better and way cheaper.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client for a month now, and I should be down by 9 pounds when I weigh on Thursday. I am excited, because I have a stubborn body when it comes to losing weight. I do not mind eating better, love the supplements and get excited each time about their lipogenics treatment for areas that it is hard to lose weight in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I probably would have dropped out already if it had not been for the encouragement that they have given to me. I love the way that I feel and look.

Fantastic experience: PWLC-Raleigh was able to meet my requirements and I lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks! It seemed relatively easy and I was achieving success! As time went on and the pounds and inches were coming off, some of my coworkers noticed my weight loss and I referred them to PWLC-Raleigh. They also joined and have successfully lost weight and are maintaining. The staff at PWLC are always friendly, helpful, supportive and encouraging! I have to confess that I digressed from the program from time to time giving in to my weaknesses for chocolate, cookies and ice cream which hindered my progress along the way. The staff never reprimanded me but always encouraged me and guided me to get back on track. I gradually kept shedding the pounds and inches on the program over time. Finally, after being on the program for a little over a year, I met my goal to lose 40 pounds and lost a little over 80 inches! And I have dropped down 4 sizes in my clothes. For me, it has been well worth the time and effort on the PWLC weight loss program and the health benefits have also been significant. I strongly recommend anyone who needs to lose weight to at least go for the free consultation. What do you have to lose!

Negative experience: Untrustworthy place of business. After researching local diet and body sculpting plans, I found Physicians Weight Loss Center. After reading about the "2 Free Lipogenics" treatments offers that are right here on this Yelp page I decided to call the center and book a consultation. I specifically asked the employee who answered the phone if you had to commit or purchase anything to try the free lipogenics treatment they offered. I asked twice to be sure, the employee said "NO, to try the lipogenics would be free per the yelp ad". I booked the consultation and went to the center. The center was 1 hour and 10 minutes from my home, but the lipogenics ads were promising so I though it would be worth a shot. When I arrived at the center the owner did a short consultation, where she basically ignored her Yelp advertisement for the free lipogenics treatment. I told the owner I asked her employee who scheduled my appointment assured me the free ad would be honored and that I didn't have to purchase a diet program today. She coldly told me "we don't give out free treatments" even though the ad on this page clearly said they do with a consultation. She was short and rude, even after I told her how far I had driven to possibly become a customer of here weight loss center. False advertising is so unethical and aggravating to potential customers. Lastly there was no Physician at the center, to over see medical diet programs. Basically this place is a big gimmick.

Fantastic experience: Physicians Weightloss is a wonderful place to begin your weight loss journey! The staff (Melisha) along with owners Rob and Nicole were very welcoming and accepting and I always felt supported. I have wavered many times, but am always welcomed back with open arms. The staff will call and check on you and even adjust your program to fit your lifestyle!! Im down from 242 to 192 (12 week program) Check them out in Raleigh!!!!

Fantastic experience: Best Program and I have done them all! I lost 15lbs in 3 weeks and found the program super easy and very healthy. The staff is encouraging and motivating and I recommend them to everybody.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed at my experience here. My service is over and I have to say towards the end I was really disinterested. I am at the point of filing with my insurance... Which I was told when I initially signed up that they would file my insurance to seek some of my funds back. Well when my service ended I was informed that I would have to file my insurance myself or they could do it for a $25 fee. I told them I was not informed that initially when signing up and just seems like the fees keep adding up here. I requested all the info that I would need to file a claim with my insurance company only to find out this company never gave me a procedure code.... One time I did receive a response but stating Nicole could not provide me the code because she need more info. I called my insurance and they said it's pretty basic and the codes are universal so it shouldn't be hard. At this point this is all I need to file my claim. I have called and asked to speak with coder Nicole and also requested her to call me back. It it literally a month later and I have not her from her nor is she ever there when I go. I have stopped by at least 5x since my service has ended and she is never there and no one can seem to get her to call me. At this point I'm super frustrated and need to take further action because I'm almost at the deadline with my insurance company for finalizing the claim. I just think its weird that Nicole is the only one that can provide me the code and won't ever respond.

Negative experience: Warning...Do NOT take they word at face value! They lie and they don't return calls. When I signed up they made promises about filing insurance claims for you once treatment was complete and that a refund would be issued! Well, it's been a year and that's a LIE! I call them and they don't pick up and return calls. There are reputable weight loss places in and around the Triangle area BUT this is NOT one of them! They will say anything to get your money and business! DO NOT DO IT!

Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience with Physicians Weight Loss. I've lost over 60 pounds and have kept it off for over a year now. I used to go to the Raleigh center, but after I moved I was able to switch to the Durham center very easily. I stop in once a week on my way to work to get weighed, see the doctor if I need to, and meet with the staff if I need help. All of the staff members I have worked with there are very kind and understanding. They will ask questions and hold you accountable, but that is because they are there to help you live a healthier life. I also love that you can go in and meet with a staff member as often as you like while you are on the plan and also while you are in maintenance. They actually encourage you to come in frequently. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs help losing weight.

Positive experience: I am very disappointed by a staff member. I walked in for a weigh-in. And she says "You canceled your appt with the Dr today". Not , "Hi good morning, how can I help you today." She proceded to weigh me and then questioned me for my meals and nutritient supplements. I let her know due to my position that I work, it is hard to get the second supplement in for the dinner meal. I have to constantly stir the supplement and that doesnt work well when you are on the run as a nurse. No other suggestions offered to help. Instead, she immediately says "where is your shaker you got when you joined?" I told her I never received that. She argued with me about this. She was rude through-out the whole visit. I am now back at home and wishing I didnt have to go back. Just sad. I re-joined is due to emotional eating issues. I have some things coming up in my life and they have been stressing me out so bad that I gained weight back that I had lost a year ago. The program works. I know this because I lost 30 lbs last year. But I wish there was staff that truely cared about you and didnt treat you rudely.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff of motivating ladies! The meal plans and shopping list are very doable and affordable. They always provide words of encouragement, even when you have gained a pound or two. LOL! Great Job ladies!!

Negative experience: This place was very disappointing. I paid over $600 to sign up thinking that their supplements were included only to find that to not be the case and have to spend additional money to purchase the supplements every week. I've been signed up for almost 2 months now and still have not seen the doctor. The crazy part about this is the doctor only comes in to take appointments 1 day a week which is Tuesday from 7am-10am. This was not disclosed to me before I signed up or I would not have agreed to this because that time would never work for me. I asked for a portion of my money back and they could not give me a refund. I could go on and but the bottom line is this place is a rip off. Worst decision I've ever made.

Fantastic experience: Hi! I am so EXCITED about this program! I visited the Raleigh center on Monday, July 18th, and met with MaLesha! She was AWESOME and so patient with me as I asked numerous questions! I started the program on Wednesday, July 20th and loss 6 lbs on my first weigh in date of Saturday, July 23rd! :P I have tried different weight loss programs and centers previously, but PWLC is looking like the BEST one so far! First of all, The Staff at the Raleigh location are so supportive, motivating and friendly! Secondly, PWLC gives you incentives to make you want to loose weight without making excuses and this alone keeps me motivated to WIN!!!! Lastly, I believe the Staff there genuinely want to see you succeed and achieve your goals; and knowing this as well, keep me motivated! I am happy with the decision I made and I look forward to my weight loss journey with PWLC and the continued encouragement and support from the AMAZING staff and you should too!!! Fantastic experience: An childhood friend spoke highly of her experience with PWLC and she is now a consultant with PWLC. I visited my friend at the office and I decided I would learn more. I knew I NEEDED to become much healthier and knew I needed a physician to professionally help me get started. All my questions were answered, my goals were set, the right plan for me was selected and all with loving support I was on my way! I've been with the program for 6 weeks and have lost 15 lbs and 17.5 inches! Fantastic experience: I love going to the Durham PWLC! The people there truly care about you and are so knowledgeable and friendly. I have lost 15 pounds and 16 inches so far and am so excited to finally be able to get some results. The nutritional supplements taste wonderful and help you keep the weight loss going without becoming flabby. The increase in energy is incredible! I am thankful for a place that has helped me to make lifestyle changes that help me be a better, healthier me.

Fantastic experience: In a weight loss market crowded with gimmicky diet plans and supplements, Physicians Weight Loss Centers provided me with many safe, reliable options to help aide in my efforts of shedding pounds. While the programs vary in length, intensity, and structure. They offer an evidence-based treatment plan (meaning the methods are backed by solid clinical research), and they are closely supervised by MDs and other medical professionals. You see, the hardcore truth is we have become a people that eat for taste and not for health. I had become so programmed in my thinking that food made me happy; that I was dying day by day. Yes, while anyone can achieve weight loss by cutting back that same mantra goes for someone looking to become a bodybuilder or a model. If you want to be your best, invest in a trainer or an experienced professional that can assist you along your way. PWL owners Rob and Nicole along with their staff, were just that for me. I was introduced by a coworker who shredded 60lbs and has managed to keep it off and that was enough to convince me that it can work. Great thing for me was, I could still eat things I loved based on the plan I chose in moderation. Now that’s the business side of things but personally speaking this company has been a true blessing to me. I support small businesses but never could I imagine what I was in store for. Your probably thinking this would be the perfect space where would I say, “I lost 100lbs and so can you” but hardly that’s the easy part. Not only did I lose the weight, I became a part of a family. While on the program I had multiple family emergencies and PWL owners and staff called to check in on me, not for the program purposes but for my personal well-being. This type of customer service does not exist anymore. This has by far been my Best Experience in a long time. #SmallBuisnessWithaBIGHEART

Fantastic experience: I have had a GREAT experience with PWLC. I had my consultation with the owner (Nicole) and she explained the program in great detail and answered all my questions. To be on the program you must have 2 nutritional supplements/day (puddings, shakes, soups, fruit drinks) but other than that you are eating grocery bought food. The supplements have tons of protein and are delicious! Huge variety, very convenient and super easy to make. The menu plan was very easy to follow. The staff is super friendly and always willing to answer any questions that I may have. I've reached my goal weight and I am so happy! I would definitely recommend PWLC to anyone!!!

Negative experience: Very disappointed so far! Signed up at the end of February and have finally been able to go in. I specifically asked the owner (whom I signed up with) if I had to buy any of their products because as a single mom, I need a program where I can buy regular food from the grocery store. She said no, our supplements are optional. That isn't the case at all. After spending $500+ to sign up, I now have to spend an additional $36 and change per week which is a total of $432!!! As I was venting very obviously to the poor worker, the owner kept her head down and didn't say a word! At least apologize for miscommunication or acknowledge you didn't understand what I asked, but to ignore me was infuriating! To top it off, they gave me the wrong meal plan and shopping list. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love PWLC. I had 2 boys exactly 1 year apart, and gained about 70 lbs during that time. Thanks to PWLC I am now 15 lbs lighter than my PRE-pregnancy weight! I have lost 38.5 pounds in less than 9 weeks!!!! over 40 inches off my body, and 3 pants sizes! I have always been overweight for my height...and was never taught how to maintain a healthy diet. PWLC has taught me how to portion properly, how to balance my nutrition...and how to make better choices in general. I can still enjoy flavors I love and lose weight. The nutritional supplements make it easy to get nutrition with my hectic lifestyle. I have never lost weight this easily before...and I have tried SO many things. Im at my healthiest weight ever and only 18lbs from my goal! It's been a lifestyle change and I know I will be able to keep it off thats the best part.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the fact that this weight loss program is focused on bringing me to good health and achieving my weight loss goal. I found the staff to be very upfront about pricing and products that I would need to purchase to achieve my goal. The staff's supportive role is outstanding! I have lost 13 pounds and 20 inches overall!! I am almost to my goal :) I would definitely recommend Physicians Weight Loss Centers of Raleigh(or Durham, which is where I am going) to anyone looking to lose weight in a healthy way that's relatively quick and easy to follow.

Fantastic experience: To say Physicians Weight Loss in Raleigh has changed my life would be an understatement! I went from feeling tired and sluggish all of the time to having tons of energy after losing 38 pounds on the program. When I started the program, my goal was to improve my health enough so I would no longer have to take blood pressure medication. I have achieved that goal with the help of the PWLC program. PWLC provides tons of support and great food options. But, the eating plans are super flexible, so I feel that I've really learned a lot about healthy eating and portion control so I can make this a real lifelong change.

Fantastic experience: PWLC of Raleigh was the perfect fit for my weight loss goals. My goal was aggressive but obtainable with the help of these Ladies. I lost over 50lbs in 11 weeks. I feel and look great. I would recommend getting the B12 shots, these really helped with the energy I needed. I have been able to maintain the weight loss using tools taught to me. I look forward to working with these again for another 8 weeks in order to loss the final 25 stubborn lbs.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I chose to go to Physicians Weight Loss. I've always struggled with my weight and the older I was getting the harder it was coming off. I was buying every new diet book that hit the shelf and working out and my weight kept increasing. I saw my co-worker and his wife having success on the program so I made an appointment for a consultation and here I am, months later and 25 pounds lighter. The program I did was easy to follow. I ate real food and I wasn't hungry. I also didn't have to workout like a maniac. The staff is so friendly and helped me every step of the way. So happy I joined. Best decision I made. And my success on the program has even led to another co-worker joining the program!

Fantastic experience: Physicians Weigh Loss Centers in Raleigh, NC has had an AMAZING impact on my life! I began the program in April of 2014 and had a 30 pound goal by my 45th Birthday in July. Fantastic experience: I am a diabetic since 1994 and have always struggled with my weight and my A1C and since I joined PWLC Raleigh back in April I am down 40 lbs and 56 inches. I am not starving nor lacking in vitamins & minerals. My doctors are super happy with my progress and I feel amazing!!! Thank you so much to my support team over there (Nicole, Kiara & Kathy) You ladies ROCK!!! I will continue on program til I obtain my ideal weight and then maintain so I don't slip back.
