Sea Mar Puyallup Medical Clinic: Reviews
Negative experience: I should have looked at the reviews before I went here. They really lived up to the negative comments. 2 appointments in a row canceled on me last second with no explanation. Unbelievable.
Negative experience: It takes too long to see the Dr. No communication between patient and dr or staff.
Negative experience: If I could leave ZERO stars, this would be it. Terrible service, Delay in action, lack of communication. It has taken 3 months for our medicine to even get a prior authorization filled out. I’ve asked for communication to call us once they got a hold of insurance, they NEVER DID. It’s been 3 months everyone… on going issue, I took the step of calling my insurance and they said they are shocked the medical office hasn’t reached out. Front office staff and those who answer the phones to the medical assistants all need to be re evaluated. I have never experienced this level of lack of care. If you’re looking for good care, do not come here.we still don’t have our medicine.
Negative experience: I went to Puyallup SeaMar Community Health Center on August 16 which Veteran Affairs sent me. I waited for 4 hours in the clinic didn’t see a doctor which was told come back. HELL NO!!!!!! This place is unprofessional, not enough doctors and GEHETTO. No veteran should be treat like when they served this country
Negative experience: Went for TB blood test with my wife.We were notified that since it's out first time,we don't have to pay.Three weeks down the line,we are getting constant mails from quest Diagnostic to pay each 130$. Why didn't they tell us this before, why do they have to be so unprofessional.
Negative experience: Today I arrived the office at 4:50 pm the supervisor Nicole said that they can't withdraw blood after 4:30 pm as they close. She said the hours on Google is not correct and it's admin mistake and I need to call admin to fix this issue , not sure why patient need to call admin to fix internal problem .Please fix the hours as people leave their work early to come to the office for your service and it's not acceptable.
Negative experience: If I could give these people a negative review I would. I am LIFE DEPENDENT on my insulin pump and medication. I have called these people for two months trying to get all of my parts and insulin prior authorized so I don't die. I keep being given the run around and told the doctor is going to call the prior authorization line. I am almost out of medication. These are the most incompetent uncaring people on the planet this business needs to close.
Fantastic experience: The most professional office and the staff is super friendly. Going to the dentist for a tooth problem it's never fun but the people here make it easier for you.
Negative experience: This clinic is a JOKE, took my daughter for a check up, I mentioned a concern about something and the dr told me it’s not something she does, and she would need to be seen at a pediatric clinic to discuss it, this was after having her Lakewood pediatrician schedule her appointment in Puyallup because apparently are booked too many months out for even just a check up, might as well start using urgent care as my pcp!!
Negative experience: I give it a two because whenever we’re here for dental it’s always quick and the doctors and nurses are very friendly. But the medical doctors are useless they don’t even know what their doing I went for severe bone pain I called to schedule the lady on the phone asked me if I want a male or female doctor I specifically asked for a female I show up and both the doctor and the nurse are male. He asked me what was wrong I said what was wrong. He asked if I have any cold symptoms I said no and he laughed and said then I am fine and sent me home.
Negative experience: Very unreliable Customer service leaves much to be desired. You will be better off going to Carbon Health Urgent Care which is just a few mins drive down the road.
Negative experience: The provider screwed up my daughters birth control amd refuses to fix it until we pay more money for her to be seen.
Negative experience: The lack of care and communication this facility gives to its patients is ridiculously terrible. My mother has waited 3 months to get appointments scheduled. She was told that her liver is failing and that "it doesn't look good for her" yet they can't be bothered to send her referral to the specialist? After being asked to do so 3 times? And they won't see her to explain her lab results until SEPTEMBER!? Well, since she's already yellow and swollen up like a balloon I think they're hoping she just dies before they have to actually help. I make sure to tell everyone to run for the hills before coming to this joke of a "doctor's office"
Negative experience: Was there for a dentist appointment they made me schedule and before they started they had to ask me why I'm there and what they were doing today because they were confused on why they had me schedule the appointment. During the procedure the dentist and nurse started making jokes about how their boss needs them to be more professional and follow more safety procedures. This was the dentist I've felt most unsafe with and would never take anyone here even in case id emergency.
Positive experience: Parking is horrible. Not enough handicap spots, and the ones they have are not marked well Edit- parking has improved. Checking in, in the other hand, can take around 10 minutes sitting at the counter.
Fantastic experience: Staff was friendly & profesional! I would go there if I lived on the west side
Positive experience: Todo muy bien doctores y enfermeras el único problema es una resepcionista grosera que tienen en la entrada contesta feo, si no le gusta su trabajó debería buscarse otro de su agrado las personas no tenemos la culpa de sus problemas
Fantastic experience: I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad, but my experience was nice there.
Negative experience: Horrible nurse practitioners, diddnt listen to any of my concerns, and dismissed me like i was nothing with out helping me out one bit! The place is a clown show, if you value you health, safety, and life in general. .do not go here!
Fantastic experience: My daughter had her crown down and the doctor was so calm and also kept communicating wit her to make sure she was good and my daughter was a good patient . They always show respect these last couple times I’ve came .. have no issues
Fantastic experience: Love all the staff
Negative experience: This place is horrible…they absolutely don’t care. They also don’t have any idea how to schedule and waste peoples time money and gas…highly recommended to go somewhere else. I left today with absolutely nothing done and I’m search of a new dentist again!
Fantastic experience: After reading reviews on this place I was terrified to come here but didn’t really have much of an option. This was legitimately the best experience I’ve ever had going to the doctors. I deal with a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the doctor but everyone was so nice. I arrived 20 min early to avoid any chance of being late, checked in easily, and was out of there an hour later. I felt like the process was super quick. Naturally it’s annoying to have to wait a month to get an appointment but honestly it’s like that everywhere right now. It’s like we’re in a pandemic or something, crazy! I’m honestly wondering if all the bad reviews are just people who are racist and don’t like the people helping them to have accents.
Negative experience: Wish i could give it less. Do yourself a favor do not…. I repeat do not come here you will regret it. I can’t even rely on these people to be seen let alone my medical well being. They switch drs because none of them want to work for this circus show. Never in my life have i dealt with such unprofessionalism at what should be a VERY professional setting. Office staff is even worse most of them speak very little English as well so that doesn’t help things. This office has been nothing shy of horrible. The company is nothing short of a joke.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional clinic - I have been chasing down my meds for the past week. Unfriendly staff, too
Fantastic experience: Went here for a covid vaccine. A very well-run and professional operation by all accounts. Was treated very well. In an out within an hour. Staff was friendly. Not really sure how representative the 1-star reviews here are of the overall quality delivered by this clinic.
Negative experience: One of my parents was told that they couldn't refill their meds, instead were told to do more exercise. Though that's a good thing to say, however, if any patient told their doctor that they need refills on their meds (helps their health issues), then you would think their doctor fulfils their request. Not here.
Negative experience: The wait time was absolutely abysmal, I got charged 310$ for seeing the doctor for 10 minutes for 3 referrals, and I didn’t use any of them because they were out of network, the help desk was very rude and unprofessional, my time total that was spent there was over 4 hours waiting in a small doctors office room. It was the worst healthcare experience ever! I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone especially if you care about professionalism, time, money, your sanity, and not being yelled at.
Negative experience: Took the day off work. Took 1 wrong turn and arrived 5 minutes late- at 1050 for my 1045. They told me I couldn't be seen.
Negative experience: Manager Nicole is very RUDE and HOSTILE. Her check in staff is also very rude. I recommend they do some new hiring.
Negative experience: Dentist pulled 3: perfectly healthy teeth.
Negative experience: I wouldn't deal with the Puyallup seafarers clinic again..I tried to get my x-rays sent out and after a week.still not sent. .t. had to call demoines clinic and it took 25 minutes and done.
Negative experience: My dad WAS a patient there. He doesn’t drive, he would rather use public transportation to go to another location because that place was so bad.
Negative experience: llega temprano ala citas medico y dental y siempre tardan en pasar nomas se ve la gente platicando y paseando y no lo a tienden a uno muy mal servicio
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible!!! You have to wait forever on hold to make an appointment. The girl on the phone said once i get there, wait in line to check in, and get my kit in 5 minutes. Well it looks lile the girl who scheduled my appointment made is for tacoma and not puyallup. Even though i called the puyallup location. Been waiting over 30 minutes and went to the front twice to ask what the process is. On the phone you wait in line, 2nd time was told to wait in my car and they will bring the kit out, 3rd time they said someone will call. Well clearly no one was going to call since they made my appointment for the wrong location and when i went to ask them for assistance they just told me to wait. Well I'm glad i pushed the issue as i would have sat here day since they made it for the wrong location!!! Still waiting, it's been over an hour. Also, checked mychart and my appointment was for Puyallup. Had to go back up to the front...again!!! Took 1 hour and 15 min to get 2 test boxes. They had given my tests to another car. Worst place ever!!!!
Negative experience: This is the actual address 10217 125th St Ct E 2nd Floor, Puyallup, WA 98374 The address posted here takes you to a neighborhood.
Fantastic experience: The staff always is kind. Also Doctor Daniel is very professional with my son.
Negative experience: Our daughter went in for a wellness check to be done by Dr. Delgado. He did not do a single check of her physical health but he prescribed her mental health medication. We were very disappointed in this visit and will not see him again.
Negative experience: To make an appointment we have to wait for 20 minutes and that’s terrible
Negative experience: Solo porque no hay 0
Negative experience: Horrible service I call to make an appointment for Covid-19 testing they never answer somebody took my information and said they were going to call me but I never heard from them.
Fantastic experience: Thanks for the great services!! In line and out fast for vivid shot!! A+
Negative experience: They have very bad front desk ,unhelpful , especially when schedule an appointment or checking in ,so I decided to move to another clinic .
Negative experience: Had an appointment for 1 pm, showed up a little early about 1245 got checked in. Didn’t get seen until 240 pm. Waited 2 hours. Extremely disappointed in the system they have going and won’t be making a new appointment through them anytime soon. What’s the point of the appointment if they’re not going to be on time?
Fantastic experience: Since I change to this clinic in Puyallup, Doctor Delgado is been amazing with the care of my children he is compassionate and caring. Probably one of the best doctors I've seen thank you Doctor Delgado and nurses.
Negative experience: Fatal llamo y me cuelgan mejor miéntenmela
Fantastic experience: Love the doctors. They have made an error while I was trying to get a refill.. but people are human. They gave my information to a different doctor. Who wasnt in on friday now Saturday on hold for1 hr♂️
Fantastic experience: Very happy with the doctors long waits but worth it!
Negative experience: Pésimo servicio y muy desorganizados.

Negative experience: There wait time on Phone is hella long, and they're not even that big, they have 6 girls in the front desk and its taking almost 30-45min to wait for someone to answer phone calls..Very Unprofessional the Tacoma Cushman is better than this branch..
Fantastic experience: The receptionist at SeaMar Medical Center in Puyallup was very nice and welcoming, helpful. She helped me find an appointment in 3 days. During my appointment the medcal assistant was friendly but professional. The doctor looked and checked me, discussed my diagnosis, make sense and recommended a prescription. Thank you very much to All and Happy Holidays!
Negative experience: On hold 3 hrs..got told walk in ok..nope. really sick and no care. Call back service gives wrong ibfo
Fantastic experience: Excelente la atenciòn de las chicas de recepcion, informacion completa acerca de los programas que tienen en la clinica, resolvieron todas mis inquietudes. Gracias Sea Mar Pyuallup
Negative experience: Horrible
Negative experience: Horrible wait time. I have been here 3 times for both my wife and son. The wait time is usually two to three hours past your appointment time. It is beyond rediculious. That being said the nurses and doctors are very compassionate and good at providing care.
Fantastic experience: I appreciate the help from Sea-Mar. They helped me get medical care at a time when Obamacare decided I made $100 too much one month and kicked me off Medicaid and offered me a "great replacement policy" through the exchange for $1,159 per month. More than I made in 1 month as a transportation challenged senior shut-in with bad knees working online to supplement my wife's disability check and care for her. SEA-MAR helped me to restart my simple meds Walmart $4 meds that I needed, but couldn't get because without insurance I couldn't get a doctor visit. SEA-MAR even helped me get back on Medicaid. I am very grateful to these overworked people doing the best they can to help folks who have fallen through the cracks. God bless you guys.
Negative experience: I called them Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, no answer. I left 5 voicemails!! I put myself on the call-back list numerous times and nothing! I have a laceration on my leg that I need to have a check-up on, clearly I can't trust this place. Wish I could give them 0 stars for 0 effort. The fact this place was referred to me by the ER, IS BEYOND ME!!!
Negative experience: I’ve been going to this clinic for 5+ years. In the last 3 I’ve watched it go downhill drastically. Staff is friendly but they are always busy and hectic, even understaffed at times. The computer systems are frequently down to the point of our visits barely even being functional because they can’t look at my records, order my medications or referrals to my specialists. My primary doctor is always changing because the doctors leave often, so I’m re-explaining things I just covered the last appointment, and having to remind even the same doctor I had that I have an autoimmune disorder so we can’t do this and have to do that instead. Countless times I have not gotten a referral that was supposedly requested for extremely important, time sensitive things, and have had to call multiple times to have the referral request finally submitted. Huge issues for someone who is chronically ill, I shouldn’t have to manage my healthcare individuals. I’m sadly going to look for another clinic who can be more reliable. If you just need general check ups every now and then, I’m sure this clinic would be fine for you. If you have a medical history that’s important to your current and ongoing care, there’s going to be issues unless they have a serious overhaul of this clinic.
Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Front desk girl was rude and always rushed you. You couldn't see a doctor for a walk in, but they said yes on the phone. Alma was the front desk girl, if you don't speak Spanish, she won't even try to understand our situation. Sad, didn't expect to see this treatment from medical clinic. Changing my provider. Hate losing good doctors. Just can't take how this front desk jokers handle customer.
Negative experience: If I could I would never have gone here or if I could put 0 stars I would. These people can not seem to do a job right to save their or anyone's life. I believe these people do not help anyone but draw everything out and you get nowhere here.and when promised to have my health or to get my results and such. It's been over almost 2 months
Fantastic experience: I actually don't get why these guys have bad reviews. I'm always seen within minutes of my appointment Dr Bejar always is on top of my health and wellness (I came in for fibroid issues and weight-loss) thanks to her help I'm 50 pounds lighter in a year at a healthy weight and we are working on my chronic anemia and reproductive issues, I'm a work in progress. But they have always been kind and thorough in my experience and work together with my obgyn to give me the best treatment as possible. I didn't even want to go more originally after the disaster of Good Sam misdiagnosing me last year I didn't want to go to any clinic they recommended. I am actually glad I had no choice and did. I'll keep coming as long as their care of me remains good.
Fantastic experience: In and out rolled my ankle quick visit schedule that morning
Negative experience: Worst place ever I have been going there for years taken my kids there since birth and after are last visit there we will never go back do your research before going there sad to say they have became the worst place on earth for anyone's care
Negative experience: Can I give negative stars? I can’t even get a referral to see a specialist for my 9 year old within the needed time frame because they are constantly “booked”. I guess I can blame Obamacare for organizations like this that don’t care whatsoever. This place is just horrible.
Positive experience: From my first experience yesterday once I got past the reception area things were great the nurses and doctor were amazing compared to health point in Kent. My experience with the reception area was horrible and she was very very rude I called the morning of my appointment because I never got a reminder call and they imputed my phone # wrong in the computer..mistakes happen so I let it slide my appointment was at 1 and she told me to come in at 11:45 I questioned why so early and she stated I was a new patient and needed to come in early I was still confused as to why 1 hour and 15 minutes early but I waited 2 months for this appointment so went in as directed.. The same reception lady I talked to on the phone checked me in and told me I was early lol when I reminded her she told me 11:45 she denied it completly. The experience starts at the receptionist and if they can't properly do their job or even apologize when they mess up this place will always have bad reviews sadly :( I do feel the need to praise the nurses and Dr.Drasnin they were amazing.. Just get past the horrible treatment in the lobby and the rest is smooth sailing.
Negative experience: A joke of a medical clinic Traveling drs because they can’t keep them there!! Plan on spending 2-3 hrs there to see your dr
Negative experience: WHAT A JOKE!!! Whoever is managing this location needs to seriously re-evaluate why there are SO MANY POOR REVIEWS!!! Almost one month to get an appointment!!! WALKED OUT AFTER WAITING 2 1/2 HOURS!!! Staff was VERY rude and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I could go on and on about this horrible experience...but will NOT stoop that low!!! P.S. MAYBE CHECK HOW BELLVUE, BELLINGHAM AND EVERSON CLINICS FUNCTION SO WELL!!! 5 + STARS EACH!!! ASHAMED TO HAVE TO GIVE YOU 1 STAR!!!
Positive experience: The wait to see the doctor was excessively long but once he came in he was really compassionate and caring. Probably one of the best doctors I've seen.
Negative experience: complete garbage. 10 minute maximum per client. So tell me why? I was seen one hour late. This was a complete abortion. I might as well went to a grade school. HEY hire someone that speaks english
Fantastic experience: Great service to the community
Negative experience: Hi. My name is Curtis Heltsley. I used to be a Seamar customer. We have proof that this clinic is committing insurance fraud. Two of their nurses were caught red handed lying about. What my insurance would pay for for my diabetic blood sugar test strips. My A1c was near heart attack range and I needed to get heart stentz. The nurses kept changing doctors prescription for six times a day into three without consent of my doctor. Then they argued with me saying Molina would only pay for three times daily. I checked with Molina and they had documented calls from both nurses and told them they would pay but nurses continued to lie to me and order supply company which is Diabetic Supply. Com. What they were doing was getting me and others to come in again and pay to correct their mistakes which is insurance fraud. I had to finally have eye surgery and lost half my vision in my left eye. Vision is also distorted. My insurance company Molina and I set up a three way call with Seamar and nurse got caught lying about testing strips so she all of a sudden changed her story and said I don't need to check more than three times daily. She is not the doctor remember. They are doing this to many others and need to be sued and reported to the Better Business Bureau. Look at the lineup of complaints.
Negative experience: This worse place to go if you wanna make appointment they will give you after 2 month
Negative experience: This is worse place and service they don't care about the patient if you wanna make appointment even we patient there they make appointment after 2 month they took to many people no enough Dr I never wanna go there anymore
Negative experience: Went in cause my baby girl had a tongue tie. TOLD the repectionist what I wanted out of the appointment. I sit for an hour and the doc tells me ‘oh we don’t do tongue ties here’ I was so upset because baby is having difficulty getting enough milk. They said ‘oh well, maybe try formula....or drink grape juice.’ ...what?!
Negative experience: Don't take your kids to this dentist! They tramatized my daughter & my nephew! Find somewhere else. Bad staff and bad dentist!
Negative experience: I constantly have problems getting important refills and wait times are often very long.
Negative experience: Please do not come here. There is so much wrong with their service I have no idea where to even begin: 1) The wait times are ridiculous. You will always be expected to wait hours to see a doctor. But thats if you can even be seen. Every time I have had to make an appointment to see someone, it has to be booked out a month in advanced. Every single time. 2) Getting any form of a new prescription is next to impossible. I have recently been trying to get a new prescription for the eczema on my foot. After the prescription given wasn't covered by my insurance, I asked for an alternative to be sent. Twice I have asked for this over the course of 3 weeks and nothing has been done. 3) Forget asking for a referral. IF it is necessary, ask for a printed copy of the referral so you can do it yourself. Otherwise they will NEVER send it and you won't get the help you need. What a waste of time. Don't come here.
Fantastic experience: Sits in back behind buildings, tricky to see from road. There are signs posted before turning onto short road, that leads to building. Parking lot is small, but plenty of wide parking spaces. Appointments only. Open on Saturdays. ( Lab included) Very friendly staff. Nice layout. Waiting tome with appointment, average 25 min or less. Dr. Singh is the most popular and favorite Dr. of the patients. Very kind and sincere, caring and thorough. Appointments always available. They accept most all insurance. Very prompt with return calls to you, if you call them.
Negative experience: I was able to get in very quickly to get a tooth filling but 3 days after it broke when a typical filling last for 5 years
Negative experience: The worst medical center I've ever been to. The wait time alone was ridiculous. They took my weight and height measurements, they recorded my weight wrong, probably my height too. (I know because I re-weighed myself while I was waiting). I went there to get a new prescription for my Asthma, all I needed was a prescription for my inhalers. She then told me that I have been getting too much, that an inhaler should last me months. My prescription has always been (for 10 years) the same. 2 puffs every 4 hours as needed. There is 200 puffs in one inhaler, do the math. She then tells me that I should be put on a steroid (very expensive). I said fine but that I would like to have the security of my monthly inhaler so I can breathe. She said no, that she would give me 1 every 3 months. I made it clear that inhalers aren't addictive and in no way was I asking for pain medications, only the security to breathe because well...you kinda need to with my condition. DR. BEJAR was a waste of time, and shouldn't be paid to waste people's time and money. Someone with asthma should be worked with to improve the condition. Not to be made to feel handicapped by the condition. She then had the nerve to have a conversation with another person in the room right next to me about me. When I made it clear that I could hear everything she was saying they then went into a whisper. DO NOT GO HERE. Spend your hard earned money and time elsewhere. Dr. Bejar is there to feed her power trip not to help people that really need her to.
Fantastic experience: AMAZING!!!!
Negative experience: I was in here with my husband granted... we had to come in for a walk in so I can understand a wait time. But we waited 3 and a half hours to not be seen so we decide to say forget it and we'll reschedule for tomorrow see if things get better.. of course I'm sitting here for hours again and they say that we're next up and other people get called in again all I get is rude service and they always do this every time I come in here... by far the worst doctor I've been to.
Negative experience: I didnt even want to give this place a star at all. I had to wait months for one appintment which ismt my issue here at all. I came in originally to get a chipped tooth of mine fixed. I went in and they said i needed work on my front tooth and that had to come first, alright. I go in and they do their thing and its "fixed" mind you i had no discoloration no pain or smything i come out it just looks lile my tooth is more square. So its all good and a WEEK later i start getting discoloration INSIDE the filling. by 3 weeks my tooth is almost comoletely dark on the sides and i woke uo this morning not even able to swallow because its in so much pain and i camt apply any pressure. SO THANK YOU SEAMAR. i can guarantee you wont see me again. Hopefully i can get this fixed befire my tooth falls out of my head. This happened at the relocation in tacoma.
Negative experience: Dr. Don't know what they'tre doing
Negative experience: Worked on the wrong teeth, won't give me my ex rays or any paper work.
Negative experience: Was told they take Tricare Standard and my daughter would be seen at the Puyallup office. Arrived, front receptionist totally did a 180. They said we could do the paperwork there but would have to drive to the Tacoma office for all appointments. They basically lied about everything and she was like take it or get out. No empathy for us or what we are going thru. Thanks but NO THANKS. I am a veteran and if you are too stay away from here.
Negative experience: The last description sounds appropriate....Sea Mar only cares about churning people through as fast as possible and billing Insurance....I've seen a few doctors in my life and these people are about sharp as a freaking Bowling Ball. Sea Mar is just an Insurance billing scam.
Negative experience: My emergency services began with the Franciscan System. I then took that to Seamar and Dr Singh, an Internist out of CA since 1980 (experience, yes?) because Victoria Wright, ARNP, preferred I see him, an Internist...and he advised me not to use those I trusted because they were outside of his network..."Stay in the system" he said to me. This after I spent 1.25 hrs in lobby after check in to enter the exam room, and one hour in the exam room before interrupting a personal visit he was having for fifteen minutes right outside my exam room door. "I want to very much provide you with the very best of care" he said to me. His tendency as well (at yet another Seamar Clinic recently) is to walk in to an exam room, with his laptop in hand, ask one or two questions, raise an eyebrow with a 'hmmmm' and leave out for an assistant to provide me with yet another referral....and then bill insurance $100+..for three to five minutes of time and no answers to my questions or concerns. Four months later, while I have been home on unpaid leave while waiting on referrals in 'the system' (Multicare), I have lost the career I was employed in (as well as all the insurance benefits that came with it), and I still have specialists to see that I'm certain will not only take months, I will not be able to see for lack of an insurance benefit policy. I am obviously in search of another more appropriate provider.
