Fantastic experience: I started my weight management journey by visiting the Medical Weight Loss Philadelphia clinic and I am glad I did. I started with an initial weight of 240 lbs & after six months staying disciplined to eating right and exercising (walks/light weights) two or three times a week, I was able to reach my ideal weight of 199 lbs. Yes, you read it right, I lost 41 pounds in 6 months in the program. Throughout the process, Dr. Kenny and the clinic’s staff were very friendly & supportive without making you feel like you didn’t have a chance to loose weight and reach your personal weight goals. Fantastic experience: With these Doctors I have been steadily losing weight. Their program is a true medical weight loss program and i appreciate that they reviewed all of the medications I am taking and made sure there were no contraindications with the appetite suppressant medications. I respect that the Doctor would have told me if the program was not for me. I take medication for high blood pressure and high cholesterol and the diet medications are fine to take with them. I like their diet plan because I am able to eat real food and still lose weight. I am very happy with everything about this program.

Negative experience: Horrible place..recently denied care and made me feel like some sort of addict and questioned the person like an interrogation..had me waiting in the room for a long time while we overhearing them talking badly about me

Fantastic experience: Dr Mermelstein is very excellent at what he does and his staff is amazing at what they do to provide the best service. His office cleanliness and services are very exceptional to those who comes into his office to receive their treatments, physicals, or even just checkups. If I had to rate his office I would give him a 5 star rating because not only that he does his job very well but he assured that each of his patients come in and leave out in the perfect amount of timing. When I make an appointment he assures that I’m coming in today and leaving the same day with great results no waiting and having to ask questions to why am waiting on another patient.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Mermelstein! The medication protocol he recommended for me definitely helps control my appetite! The diet plan that Dr. Kenny designed for me has been easy to follow and I have been steadily losing weight. The Doctors are a great weight loss team. Dr. Mermelstein is the Physician and handles the medication part of your program and Dr. Kenny designs the diet and exercise plans. I feel safe with the program because they reviewed all of the medications that I have been taking and made sure that they mixed well with the diet medications. They also check my blood pressure, weight etc... each time I see them. They are very thorough and professional and you should see them if you need to lose weight.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for the past few months. My weight fluctuates each month which is normal for an 18 year old girl . Last month I lost 5 pounds. I go back today and I gained 3 pounds. They had me sit there for an hour while people who got there after me got called back before. That was frustrating! I finally got Called back and they tell me that because I gained 3 pounds this month I wasn’t attempting to loose weight and they can’t guve me the medication anymore! That’s insulting because I try so hard to loose weight it was just a bad month. I also get a ride there with someone who goes there. She rearranged her schedule to make it there today ( we come from Jersey) and the one lady says her lungs are raspy, the DOCTOR says they sounds fine but refuses to give her the medication and she can come back in a week. She explained that she can’t do that because of her busy life schedule and that this isn’t just a “ let me run there real quick” coming here takes a whole morning for us because we are in jersey This place is ridiculous and we will not be returning unless something changes

He gave me a great nutrition plan that allowed me to still eat the foods that I just can't live without. Fantastic experience: I lost 13 lbs in 2 weeks following the plan Dr. Duffield and Dr. Kenny gave me. The weight loss pills eliminated most of my hunger and cravings and stopped my late night eating. I enjoyed that I was still able to enjoy my morning coffee and even a slice of chocolate cake when I was out with friends. I am not into spending lots of money on shakes and bars and this program is great because Dr. Kenny made a diet plan for me eating real food that I got at the supermarket and he taught me how to eat when I am dining out at restaurants. I can even stop at WAWA and enjoy a cup of coffee and a hotdog and I still lost weight. Other plans that I tried before Dr. Duffield's medical weight loss program required me to buy expensive shakes and bars, so I was happy that on this plan I did't have to spend money on expensive supplements like that. I did my research and this is the cheapest weight loss program in Philadelphia that I found and it was the most successful.
