Positive experience: The gym itself is decent. They have no concern for the courses or classes that go on. We take a hot yoga class consistently every week. In the middle of the class an employee always vacuums right next to the door LOL. Other than that facility stay cleaned and most of the employees are quite nice. No food on site which is a letdown. They have a overly expensive protein bar if you want some more protein powdered in your life. Unfortunate that the owner is not willing to partner with any businesses. Apparently he gets asked every single day if someone can solicit on his property. Amazing that there are that many businesses reaching out to him.

Fantastic experience: Saco Sport and Fitness is amazing ! Everyone there is friendly and very helpful. It’s a very nurturing , supportive environment. The facility is clean, neat, organized and well run. They have everything you could possibly want in a gym and more ! The trainers are awesome and they have a wide variety of fitness classes to suit everyone’s needs and fitness level. I go there about six days a week and I hate leaving ! Joining Saco Sport and Fitness is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. It’s an investment in your health !

The instructor's are very knowledgeable and can adapt the exercises to your needs The personal trainers are great and very knowledgeable. They work with you and will not give you an exercise you cannot perform. Front staff is very personable, they know your name after a few visits. And has a good listening ear The shakes are awesome I recommend this facility 100%

Fantastic experience: I've gone 7 days a week since before COVID and intermittently before COVID since I was 14 and I'm in my 30s now. Great gym, great staff, everything is clean and well kept. They give you sweat towels so the equipment doesn't get all nasty and at no extra charge. The sauna is hot and clean, locker room is constantly cleaned and I go mostly in the morning but even when I go at night everything is spotless. They are reliable in terms of being open plenty and it's nice to see the hours are back to pre pandemic mostly if not entirely. I crawled here 50 lbs heavier years ago after going through a period of not taking care of myself I'll never slip down that slope again thanks to Saco sport and fitness

Positive experience: I join for the summer months Sure do hope they invest in a few industrial fans for the group training room as it was almost unbearable to be working out in there last year. Don't think I can bear it again this year. I will certainly be asking before I join this year. So please, some fans, please...

Negative experience: UPDATE: The assailant is family friends with the owner and is clearly why no action was taken by the club. When I pointed out who I was assaulted by she “didn’t want it to be him” and “we know him and his father well” The assailant tells a completely different story to her and then the next day tells a different version to him!? ALL THAT THEY ARE CLAIMING I DID HAPPENED AFTER I WAS ASSAULTED! His “investigation” was far from that…. I left after being physically assaulted in sauna and nothing was done by the owner. Do not go between 3-6pm, overcrowded with 12-16yr olds gathered around almost all available equipment. Showers are usually pretty grimey as well, friend got athletes foot multiple times.

Fantastic experience: The staff and facility are great. I don't have a negative thing to say about them. Even the members are helpful if you have a question.

Fantastic experience: I have found this fitness facility to be exactly what I need in a workout facility. It is very clean and well maintained. There is an abundance of equipment and a wide variety of equipment for members to use. I have belonged to a number of sports clubs over the years. Saco Sport and Fitness is my favorite.

There is a good mix of people here, from teenagers to retirees and everything in between. Great equipment and all the assistance you need or want, without any pressure. It is always fun to spend time at Saco Sport & Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I have felt very safe throughout the pandemic at SS&F -- safer than school and safer than the grocery store. Every few months there is new equipment or a new program. Scott and Beth never rest on their laurels -- they are constantly looking to improve the club and the experience of their members!

Fantastic experience: SSF has gone above and beyond to stay open during the pandemic. They have installed a new clean air system and a strict cleaning regimen. They continue to hold group fitness classes safely and have the friendliest staff. They also have fantastic personal trainers and dieticians. I feel very fortunate to belong to SSF. They've helped me keep my sanity and reach my weight loss and fitness goals (and that says a lot especially during 2020).

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! The staff are not only very friendly, but they are very helpful. The facility is always clean and sanitized. My trainer is the best. She helped me set up a program that works for me. There are also Nutritionists who help you tackle the other side of your health and well-being. Additionally, fitness classes, swimming pool, basketball court....can't say enough good things about this place! Everyone should be coming here!

Fantastic experience: I love getting back to the gym classes but also want to be safe. Saco Sport and Fitness does a great job of requiring masks, social distancing and keeping the equipment sanitized. And it's still fun!!

Positive experience: The facility is nice and the equipment is nice. But this place is in my opinion, is geared towards the older clients. They have a basketball gym that is NEVER open to actually use it for basketball. They have classes in the gymnasium ALL DAY that are geared towards older people. The gym is open for maybe 2 hours of the day where you can actually have the free time to play basketball or just use the court for anything you want. The membership is also fairly expensive and for Someone who is 23 years old, I don’t want to have to wait all the time to use it.

Fantastic experience: The gym looks nice. I have not personally worked out there though. We rented the pool area for my daughter's 8th birthday party. Pool was heated, so even with a little rain, things still went well. The staff was accommodating with towels to dry things off and letting us borrow things like tape. I would recommend someone check them out of they are looking to host a pool party or join a new gym.

Positive experience: It's to bad the equipment isn't taking care of properly, I personally know several people that have left for this reason alone. Being the most expensive gym in town I would expect properly maintained equipment.

Fantastic experience: I haved been coming here, on and off for 17 years. A lot happens. There are choices of classes and news programs as well as trainers.. They offer small sweat towels and clean bathrooms. I belong to KNOW I can be warm in their sauna and hot tub, no matter how cold winter, in Maine, gets. I wish the outdoor pool was covered, to allow water resistant exercise for osteoporosis and year long swimming. I frequent yoga and am blessed with violin music through shavasana! I also take dancy aerobics. Sometimes, especially with snow, parking can be a struggle...

Positive experience: This is the best place to work out in Saco-Biddeford, hands down. It caters to a general fitness crowd and doesn't deserve its reputation for snobbishness at all. I see people of all shapes and sizes, and there are activities for people of any fitness level.

Fantastic experience: Beautifully renovated business right off turnpike. Many knowledgeable workers and they are serious about safely getting you in shape and healthy. Very, very lucky to have this long-serving business in Saco.

Negative experience: Extremely poor billing practices and customer service. Over priced and crowded as well. I requested to cancel my dual membership of almost two years with almost a week notice and they billed the following month and refuse to refund me although I have not stepped foot in the gym... While cancelling one of their management team mislead me to believe requesting a refund after the billing cycle would actually work And here I am still disappointed. No services, rendered, but if you give them your debit card they will bill you and get as much as they can, bunch of crooks of you ask me.
