Negative experience: Clearly they are not interested in new clients. After getting a good review for them from a family member, I decided to book a consultation for HRT. I went online on September 30th and booked a virtual consultation for October 11th. I received a confirmation that I would have a consult with Maria Contini. For several days and even an hour before, I received reminders for the appointment. When my appointment time finally came I received no contact. I called the office after waiting 15 minutes after my scheduled time and had to leave a voicemail. To this day, I still have received no call back or response. Will be taking my business elsewhere since they can't be bothered with new clients.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with Shonda and Jason Leochner’s ability to handle all my health situations and issues. BOTH of their professional approach, knowledge and skill has definitely been a factor in my willingness to continue as a patient at the clinic. Shonda's ability to reduce my chronic disease symptoms, hormones, thyroid and with my diabetes – in ways no other Doctor has been able to has been nothing short of amazing. As a Diabetic, she's helped me reduce my Metformin from x4 a day to x1/2 a day -- NO other medical provider has been able to do this since 2001. And, don't get me started on what she has accomplished with my hormones, weight loss and thyroid. Amazing! Jason and his knowledge and skills with nutrients, vitamins, deficiencies, protocols, compounding, therapies and assessments -- personally dug into my symptoms and issues to create a custom Vitamin Infusion just for me that gives me energy, clarity, better health, and an ability to be better than my old self! In addition, Jason has in his toolbox a "Brain" shot that has reduced the Dementia symptoms drastically, giving me clarity and energy that is now my go-to for living life in it's fullest. Jason and Shonda together make the perfect team and I recommend them both. Each are highly effective, confidential, and respectful with my care. Their staff (Brooke, Shannon & Tracie) are amazing as well. They are both very focused on creating a better way of life for me and is consistent with my care and treatments. So much so, that I moved my Primary and Endocrinology care to her/them! I consistently refer to Jason and Shonda to my friends, family (including my husband, David) and employees and they have had the same results and experience. Fantastic experience: The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I am more than a number here. Shonda thinks outside of the box and I am medically complex. A regular check off the boxes kind of care does not work for me. I am blessed to have found her.

Negative experience: I was very excited about my appointment having read the reviews. Let me start by saying Shonda and Jason are very nice. That is the end of my positive experience. This is for sure a business and I can say that because throughout my process I was told not asked what to do. I was not even asked what my concerns were or goals. My diagnosis was done before they met me? I was never asked if I have symptoms. I was given a photocopy of an obviously generic plan they place everyone on. This plan covered items that were not a concern for me. I was then brought to a life coach who also asked me no questions. Gave me the worst demonstration on how to use a needle (not even where on my body to use it, I had to ask). Basically handed me photocopy packet of what to eat. Which btw included meat- which I don’t eat. I paid for my expensive visit (not covered by insurance) and was told I needed to prepay even more money for future appointments?? I left with an unsettling feeling, I called to speak to Shonda. I scheduled a callback at 12pm. No call, I was texted to reschedule which I did at 3pm. Since my appointment was at 9am, I was concerned that my meds had not all been called in. Only 1 out of 5 actually made it to my pharmacy. I notified the office 3 times and received various answers and no response by text. Around 3:15pm I finally got a call back from Jason. He was very nice and answered my questions. I informed him that my meds have not been called in - he said they should be calling them in around 4pm. Day 2 no additional prescriptions have been called in. Thinking back about my experience and the inconsistencies I’m already seeing from what they said and what actually occurred. I will not be moving forward. Disappointing and a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: I get my vitamin/amino injections here. on Saturdays so four stars. I have been stopping in weekly now for about 18 months. These injections are a game changer for me when it comes to energy and also immunity. Easy and quick service. Lots of weight loss and hormone patients in the waiting area and they are also happy. Five star.

Fantastic experience: Life has been so stressful lately and like everybody else I gained weight. Crazy to look back on it all. I know Equilibrium by way of a friend and coworker. I made an appointment and got started. I needed eight weeks to get 19 pounds off. I have reset myself and happy and confident again.

Negative experience: I was a patient for a couple of years and I loved the staff and had success then all of the sudden the staff changed. The nurse practitioner that replaced the previous one was pushy, did not listen, and completely messed up my thyroid. I lost almost all of my hair. Her husband was always there which was odd to me. I do not recommend this location.

Negative experience: I went here because a friend of mine had good results (within the first couple months). When I went in to see Shonda she gave me the same exact care plan as my friend, with all of the exact same meds and doses. She interrupted me multiple times throughout my appointment, and she never remembered what I told her about my symptoms. I would tell her that I didn’t have heavy periods one minute, & the next minute she would say that she was putting me on a medication for my heavy periods. As if I didn’t just tell her that I didn’t have heavy periods? When I corrected her she just ignored me and kept going with what she was saying. She told me things like “we have to get your blood sugar under control when it was within normal limits (I think it was in the 70s if I remember right?)” & even me A1C was also within normal limits. I felt like she didn’t even look at my lab work it was just a script she was spouting off that she had memorized in hopes that most of her patients would connect with. She would tell me one thing during our appointment and and then change the order last minute or forget what she had said to me during the appointment and order something different. Like I said I originally went because a friend had good results with her pcos medication within the first couple months (who her mom originally referred her as well) & her mom recently went to get a second opinion, and the doctor that she went to said she was probably having such great results because of all the hormones that they were treating her with, and some of the dosages were so large that the new doctor hadn’t seen before. I went to 2 appointments spread out within a couple months and was supposed to go again recently for a follow up but I’m not going to because I don’t like their clinic. I personally don’t feel like she changes care plans to meet individual goals or needs.

Negative experience: The old team at Equilibrium DFW was amazing. The previous Nurse Practitioner and her team were professional, organized and gave sound advice. This new NP and her husband, on the other hand, are the pits! Unprofessional, abrasive and pushy. Not to mention the fact that they just outright lie. Unfortunately, I will not be returning unless they get a new NP!

Negative experience: I had been looking for a place to get my mom a B12 shot. I called and asked about it and was offered a deal to get 6 shots for $30 (once a week 6 times). Everytime, we went which was every Thursday was always an excuse for example she said they didnt have any and was waiting on a delivery. My thing is dont offer something you dont want to fulfill. Only was given the shot twice. So just be aware if you purchase this by calling the office or on Groupon it is a ripoff. It is just sad that it seems like SCAMS like this are always taking advantage of people. Please be careful. Extremely, BAD the worst service if i could give less than 1 star I would.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff at Equilibrium have been amazing! All of the coaches I meet with are so personable and really know how to guide you into being healthier and achieving real results based on your own personal situation and goals. I started at 158 and I'm now at 142, and I'm still either maintaining or losing weight. I will continue to go there for as long as I'm here in DFW area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am going into my 10th week now and I look and feel SO much better than when I started this journey! I have had my good days and my bad days trying to diligently stay on this new lifestyle change but with the excellent results I have been getting, there are lots more good days! I am getting lots of support and lots of positive feedback from people that haven't seen me in a while and gush over how great I look now! That keeps me going for sure! I used to have 12 pairs of black pants in a very large size in my closet and that is all I would ever wear due to my size. I have now donated all of them and they have been replaced with lots and lots of colorful pants, capris and even shorts! I even wore a sundress over Memorial Day weekend and I can't even remember the last time I ever wore a dress! I've added lots of cute jewelry and fun sandals to my wardrobe - something I haven't worn in years because I thought it would just bring more attention to my size. I'm not done yet - still have more to lose. But I absolutely LOVE the new person I am becoming!

Fantastic experience: I found Equilibrium (Southlake) by googling weight loss centers. After discussing different options for weight loss with one of the staff, I chose to do the hcg diet. I had to see their PA before starting, which is a good idea before starting any low calorie diet. The injections were really easy to do, and while on the diet, I slept like a baby. I went in weekly for weigh ins, and to discuss my ups and downs with ladies. It’s nice that they offer diet support, so if you have questions or veer off the plan, you have someone to help you through it. I would recommend Equilibrium to anyone who wants to lose weight, and needs a little help to get you there, and with no judgement.

Fantastic experience: My experience so far with Equilibrium has been amazing. They are an incredible group of people and will support you every step of the way in your transformation. I am in the process of losing weight currently but I have lost more weight in 42 days than in the last 12 months trying by myself. Do yourself a favor and give them a call, you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: I had been struggling for a couple of years with 10-15 lbs of extra fat and no matter what I did I couldn’t get rid of it. I did HCG and lost 15 lbs in about a month! Excellent experience and excellent suppprt / customer service. I had a LOT of questions and I could text them over and I always got responses quickly. I would highly recommend this clinic and the HCG protocol!!!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff - so helpful, friendly and supportive! I did the Prolon fasting mimicking diet last week and saw positive results that helped me feel better, lose weight and recover from the damage done over Halloween and Thanksgiving. Loved the simplicity of the Prolon diet, I didn't have to plan ahead or prepare - which is essential to my own personal success. Was able to travel 2 days during the 5 day diet and it made life so much easier to not have to worry about what to eat while travelling. Thank you Equilibrium Southlake! Ya'll are awesome!

Negative experience: The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. But do a lot of research. I took the shots for three weeks. Within 11 days of stopping the shots, I put on 13 lbs . It's like my body just turned upside down when I stopped the shots.

Fantastic experience: My experience has been very positive. I started my program right after Memorial Day weekend and have lost nearly 45lbs. I have been able to start doing the things I used to love like jogging and playing basketball again, my sleeping has significantly improved, and in general I just feel healthier and more energetic throughout the day. The counseling and experience has really made me think about what I consume on a daily basis. Well worth the time and cost if you play all in throughout the experience. Everyone at the clinic has been really supportive throughout.

Fantastic experience: Equilibrium in Southlake has really helped me to lose inches with the HGC program and maintain my weight and healthy life style over the last few years. Fantastic experience: The staff at Equilibrium does a great job with keeping you on track with your weight loss goals. They're friendly and will keep you motivated. I started the HCG Diet at the end of August and over the course of the past 10 weeks I've lost over 40 lbs, and that's with even having a few slip ups along the way. My fiancé did it with me and had the same amount of success. If you're looking to lose some weight, I highly recommend checking them out. I think they have some other weight loss programs aside from HCG as well, that's just the one we chose. FYI - they run specials from time to time, so ask if they have any going on at the moment.

Fantastic experience: I love the staff, everyone has been very supportive. The HCG diet seems like anew extremely hard diet but with the support they have given me it has been an amazing experience. They answer all my questions, listen to my concerns and provide solutions and comfort. The B12 shots work amazing, better than any other b12 supplements I have tried. The protein shakes are great and the supplements they offer make this HCG process much easier. I love the carb control supplements and the reset formula. On my 5th week and I have lost about 30 pounds.

Everything they said about the diet was accurate and the everything they anticipated would happen did. I lost 30 pounds in about 6 weeks with no exercise. It's been 6 weeks now off the diet, and the maintenance plan is working. Yes, I need to be faithful to the diet, which includes planning as well as some will power. The program is not easy but the rules are simple and if you follow the plan you WILL lose weight. The staff is always available to help and has always answered my questions and concerns quickly. Positive experience: This is my second time on this diet and the first at this location. Andra is wonderful! She really works with you to figure out what will work best to get you to lose weight.

That is incredible to me since I have been trying to lose these last few pounds off and on for about 5 years. Fantastic experience: After not being able to lose any weight after eating right and going to the gym multiple times a week, I tried Equilibrium to help me jump start my weight loss process. I wasn't sure how I would react to the strict food restrictions but it has honestly been the easiest 3 weeks I have every done. I never found myself hungry during the day whether it was at work or at home on the weekends. The HCG has worked exactly as I expected it to and I have lost over 20 lbs in 3 weeks. I would encourage anyone that needs a jump-start to their weight loss process to talk with ladies at Equilibrium.
