Fantastic experience: This holiday season, our family is so very thankful for Healing Hands of Manahawkin. Dr. Laura and Staff are AMAZING! I suffered a neck injury that left me unable to do normal day to day activities such as walking or sleeping with a pillow. I received no relief without the use of prescription medicine, but under the care of Dr. Laura and Healing Hands of Manahawkin, I began my road to recovery. With my first adjustment, I was able to stand straight for the first time in a month. The next day, the hearing I’d lost in my left ear was back. Within a month of adjustments, I was able to get off all medications, including heart burn medication I’ve been on for half of my adult life! My improvement has been incredible! I will live with my injury the rest of my life, but I can now manage my day to day due to the care of Healing Hands of Manahawkin! The transformation was so incredible, both my children and husband began care. I can honestly say my children’s overall health has improved. By December, we would have missed 10+ days of school and visited the ER/pediatrician multiple times with never ending coughs and infections. Not this season! Chiropractic care does not cure viruses, but it most definitely helps your body heal itself by opening the lines of communication within your nervous system. My husband has been suffering with pain from skateboarding injuries throughout his life. Time and time again he’s been told to stop, he’s too “old” to skateboard, when in reality, it’s what keeps him young! Treatment has helped him feel confident on his board again! NOTE: You must also do the work at home. The program is built around adjustments and traction in the office, but we must continue the work given for at home care if we really want the results to last. Fantastic experience: Originally, I brought my son in for a soccer injury, but his treatment has improved his overall health. He has more energy, his digestion is better, and he sleeps so much better. After seeing his results, my other son and I also joined. He has ADHD and has been able to focus more in school. He also has improved digestion and improved sleep quality. I have an auto immune disease, and I had a weak immune system. In just a few months, my numbers have improved. I sleep so much better. The staff is super friendly, nice and flexible. Since it’s all 3 of us, our schedule is kind of crazy, but they are so accommodating. Dr. Laura, who did my consultation is very knowledgeable. Billing was a little confusing, but overall, it’s an amazing practice and people. This was the best decision we could do for our family.

Fantastic experience: Last year I was having terrible pain in my back hip and leg. I had x-rays, MRI CAT scans and ultrasounds which didn’t reveal anything wrong. My last resource was to see a chiropractor because I didn’t know what other steps to take. I had never been to a chiropractor before and didn’t know any good ones so I googled chiropractic offices in my area. I got in touch with a chiropractor here in North Jersey who helped me a lot but I was heading for the shore for the whole summer. They recommended Healing Hands. Wow that was so helpful because their practices are the same. Dr. Nicole and Dr. Laura and their staff are wonderful. They thoroughly explained why I was experiencing all the problems that I had and recommended a course of correction. Within a few weeks my pain was gone. I have finished the needed correction and I am back to my wonderful self pain-free, walking tall and doing all the activities that I take pleasure in. Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk in the door you are immediately welcomed with happy faces that truly make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr Laura and Dr Nicole are extremely knowledgeable on chiropractic care and treat everyone like they are top priority. Andrew and Jenny are also very knowledgeable and are lots of fun to be around as there know exactly how to job their jobs but adding an enjoyable environment and experience. Negative experience: I responded to their facebook add, went in for a consult and paid $75 for it and xrays of which I did not get a copy. I returned the next day only to find out they wanted to sell me a program that was over $3600 plus what they were able to charge my insurance company, so if you don't have insurance I am thinking its about a $5000 payment. They show you a paper with hidden figures on it and slide it down on your ability to make payments. I was not giving any of these break downs to take home to think about. They wanted you to commit right then and there to this treatment plan. You have to agree to their $3600 ++ insurance payment to even start any kind of treatment. I figure they are making bank on the $75 $$$ special on facebook. Had I known this before going I would have never wasted my time and money but they got to pocket some!! They may be helping people but they are also running a pretty good scam!!

Positive experience: I came to healing hands in june 2023, with alot of back pain & sciatica issues, i had my evaluation, Dr Nichole & her caring staff along with Dr laura came up with a plan for me, after my first 2 months there i do feel i was getting some relief, my xrays showed improvement in my spine , my adjustments had me waliking out the door feeling great , BUT i was battling a hip issue ( which since iv’e had surgery on ) so alot of the time i couldnt do the all exercises that were in my program due to my hip pain, so i didn’t reap all the benifits from the program that i could have, Dr Nichole and her entire staff are caring professionals and do there best to relieve your pain. Fantastic experience: One month ago I met Dr Laura and her team. Dr Laura examined , took pictures of my posture and X-rays of my damaged back .( I was embarrassed with my posture pics and in severe pain not allowing me to walk or do anything without the pain traveling down to my legs ) Dr Laura , ONLY Dr in over 5 years ( I had two MRI , X-rays & 3 Drs (who couldn’t and wouldn’t tell me the truth about my back other than two of the Drs wanting to do surgery ) Dr Laura not only told me the truth but showed me everything that was causing the pain and how damaged my back was ) The Entire team of Dr Bonner , Dr Laura Casey & Andrew are amazing and help you 100% whatever you need when you are having your treatments . Three weeks into my program, I have seen tremendous progress slowly and I know it will take some time . All of them are highly professional in what they do & I put my TRUST into Dr Laura to get me back to where I can once again live my normal life hopefully without the pain I have endured over the last 5 years Healing Hands with their great team will make sure in every way they can to solve your pain issues . Fantastic experience: I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr Nicole and her team. Especially Dr Laura . I came to healing hands with multiple back issues that eventually led to significant sciatica from a disk injury . Little did I know , these back issues , or , “ subluxations “ were the leading culprit behind my injury. I hurt my back so often that this time I felt helpless. I couldn’t sit , lay down flat , walk for a long period of time , etc . I am 2 months into my treatment plan and I feel better than before . Dr Laura has been there for me every step of the way . I cant put into words how grateful I am. My favorite thing about this practice is that they use therapeutic techniques to focus on the cause of injury - rather than going in , getting adjusted and leaving . I’d like to add how flexible they are in terms of making an appointment . I’m never in there more than 40 minutes . And Although they are not your typical chiropractic office, (having rotating stations for each patients needs ) they treat everyone with the same level of care and attention as they do for me .

Fantastic experience: My journey into chiropractic care started in 2015. I was an over 60 female about to start a very physical job after years of a leisurely existence. Dr. Nicole and her teams over the years have corrected my problems, helped and encouraged me to maintain my health care needs and done so in a warm and caring manner. Fantastic experience: A great place!

Negative experience: Wasn't for me. Felt like a number, lacked quality control at times, and I also felt like a dollar sign. I have a serious injury. I invested a good amount of money from my pocket in addition to insurance for 6 months 3x a week. When it was time to sign up for the second 3 months, one of the doctors tried to sell me into a longer package with no benefit of bulking it, and as a small business owner, I felt icky about it. I expressed my concerns too. That was when I started lacking trust and felt more like a $$ than a client. In fact, after the second payment for the second program at 3X a week, with a nearly $2,000 investment, the program was hurting me more than helping so I was told to get adjustments and do chair exercises in a room 3X a week. I didn't feel like the package was equal to adjustments and doing a few exercises in a chair, where most of the time the helper wasn't even in the room. I was also doing PT exercises with a band. It didn't feel right the entire time and the only reason I went was because I paid $2,000! Also, I was also pitched another $600 for physical training on top of that before even helping with a new program for my neck. It just all started feeling icky, and I didn't like going there, and it felt like a dollar sign. This place is probably great for someone who wants adjustments, but if you have a serious injury, before they rope you into a big package with out of pocket expenses, ask a lot of questions. I hope this review is helpful. I left not feeling connected instead of a client who felt cared for. I didn't even go to my last session. It was just a turn off at that point. And, yes, physical training to build neck muscles if the machines don't work is helpful, but it didn't match what I signed up for and they wouldn't adjust the rate paid. There could possibly be more attention to detail on that. Sometimes the place felt so busy that you were just in a cattle call. ;( hope this helps. Again, it's probably amazing for others, but not for me, unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Finally i found a great practice that actually got to the root of my back problems. Everything explained to me from A to Z. Treatment plan in the works. They instill confidence where i had zero! Healing hands put the average chiropractor to shame. Best move i ever made! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The most wonderful and caring Staff I've ever came across....they are the BEST.....Healing Hands changed my life...3 months ago I came here in severe pain. This place is NOT your typical chiropractic practice, its different....TOTALLY different. Dr.Nicole Bonner is magnificent at what she does. She explained things about my spine and health that I never knew. She knows so much about your spine, it will blow your mind. She is great at her profession, and you will see and feel it when you meet her. She genuinely cares about you and your personal needs, and explains in total detail what your treatment will be. After just 3 months, I feel such a change in my overall health. Dr. Laura is just as wonderful......her skill with the spine shows with her lifetime of dedication in this field. The other members of the team are GREAT too. They are warm, friendly and caring and know their business with each patient and their needs. Fantastic experience: April 4, 2023 was my initial appointment @ Healing Hands of Manahawkin. I was in severe distress with most of my body inflammed, aching, overall felt awful!! I was not even strong enough to take a tour of the office. Now after having care 3 times a week, I feel stronger, more healthy and able to hold my adjustments for longer periods of time. Fantastic experience: As someone who tried and had a negative chiropractic experienced in the past, it took a LOT for me to muster the strength to try again. I was continually having to see an orthopedic doctor and getting cortisone shots but was continuing to get injured, with each successive injury getting worse than the one before. Negative experience: I went to Helping Hands for an evaluation. Never was there any mention of a fee of over $200.00. I was shocked that I was charged over $200.00 when I left. I didn't think fast enough and paid the bill. BE CAREFUL! YOU WILL NOT BE INFORMED OF THE CHARGE TILL YOU LEAVE.

Fantastic experience: Coming here was one of the best ideas my parents have introduced me to. You walk in and the entire staff makes you feel welcomed and safe from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Negative experience: The most uncomfortable experience of my life. I’ve been to other chiropractors, where you get adjusted and take x rays. I scheduled an appointment, which they got me in right away because my neck and shoulder were bothering me. They took over an hour to take pictures and have you fill out duplicate forms to try and sell you this wellness program. They ask you those rhetorical questions to try and manipulate you into saying what they want to hear. The cost of my visit with insurance was $160. Which they DID NOT even review the x ray results or adjust me! They asked me to bring a support buddy the following day to review my results because they want to try and sell it to my buddy. During these times of covid they wanted me to bring someone else in with me?! Meanwhile two parents can’t even go to the pediatrician appointments together. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere. They all had their masks below their nose and the front desk lady was wearing it on her chin with her face fully exposed. As a nurse I was very upset to see how irresponsible this place was practicing.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Nicole is the best, I've been to 4 other chiropractors who've not helped. I used to have to go to urgent care and get an anti inflammatory shot because my back pain would be so bad that I would be in tears and physically could not move. They would give me muscle relaxers and pills for the pain, which was not fixing anything. Since I've been seeing Doc I have not had to go through that, and I'm feeling so much better.
