Negative experience: I've been having chronic widespread pain. I'm being seen by specialist in upcoming appts but have been to the hospital 3 times in 2 weeks for unexplained widespread pain. After grandview did no testing, but not the helped control my pain i decided to go here. I thought I got lucky finally with a female dr but she wasn't even a dr she a pa. I paid 500 bucks for acetaminophen and a lidocaine patch. Now that their merging with grandview ill be forced to travel even further for care. Chronic pain patients are dismissed as drug seeking. Im noy going to pay a 500 dollar co pay for drugs. If I wanted drugs I'd go buy drugs.

Negative experience: My arm one day after my visit where I was told my iv was "in right". 9 hours they left it in this spot, having to press it to get contrast in for my ct scan and any meds. The 3 nurses, the dr and the ct tech all told me it was in right. As soon as they stuck me I knew they blew it cause they blew the other arm already in triage 20 mins before, they just took that out immediately. Train your nurses better on administering ivs/drawing blood. No one listened to me on how painful this was for 9 hrs. I already have mental health issues and everyone dismissing my actual visual pain is completely messed up.

Negative experience: By far the worst hospital staff I’ve everrrrrr encountered. What I don’t understand is you go into healthcare because you want to make a difference do good be good. Well I feel some of the ER nurses have a packed on how many patients they can get away with being nasty too. Because I’ve been to this location 3 times each time the experience just gets worse and worse.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at St Luke's Quakertown Campus from Sept 28,2023 until discharge Sept 30th. 2023. The care I received from the er to the 2nd floor med- surgical unit was beyond wonderful. The Nurses and aids are real heroes. They are professional, kind, understanding and quite knowledgeable. The surgical staff was just wonderful. All of the Doctor's, PA's and x-ray techs were so kind. Thank you all for all you did for me.

Fantastic experience: I am shocked to read some of the bad reviews. We are from out of town, and have my 95 year old mom in this hospital for the second time in a week. The nurses, staff and doctors have been incredibly responsive, caring, patient and empathetic. I could not ask for more, and our family has had a LOT of experience in hospitals over the years. This is by no small measure some of the best care we have experienced. If I have to think of a negative, I could only say that the coffee in the cafeteria is truly awful. Bring your own.

Negative experience: One star because I can’t go less! Brought my mom in at 2:30pm on Monday to Er did not get in a room til 9:00. Pm did not leave er til mid night. Then. We were called back on Friday by hospital say she needed to come back because of her blood work and she Needed Iv antibiotics we returned Friday at 6:00 pm we are still sitting here at 9:30 pm in the waiting room 3 hours and they still have not taken her back for antibiotics! There was one person in waiting room when we arrived. And they just keep coming up with new excuses THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE NEW BILLION DOLLAR HOSPITAL. CANNOT HANDLE THIER ER!

Amanda Ceneviva 2 years ago

Negative experience: I am absolutely disgusted with the ER overnight staff! My husband took our 9 year old daughter to the ER last night because she was having an asthma attack. My husband and my daughter sat in the waiting room for 2 hours! They got there at 1AM! There is absolutely NO reason they could give me to make this okay! They took her for a covid test, and a chest xray but NEVER saw a doctor and NEVER had a room and NEVER got treatment for her ASTHMA ATTACK! My husband decided to just leave since she wasn't getting treated. She will NOT EVER be going back there again for an asthma attack and will start going back to Grandview even though it's further for us! If I could give them negative stars for this I absolutely would! They clearly did not care about the well being of our daughter! How absolutely appalling!

Positive experience: Somehow not as good as before. Very long wait in ER. Time ran out to get stitches I would have had if they took me sooner. Sat for 4 hrs with my hand held up (with ice bag I brought with me) before I could be seen. (Kept hand up over heart to slow bleeding) at least I knew that much myself. Heard other ERS are having the same problems. Not enough help,I guess. But what other choices do we have after 7:00 at night.

Negative experience: Went to the ER on Sunday, March 5, 2023 and would not even recommend to an enemy. The ER overall had a few people, but not overly busy. We were checked in by an older woman and quickly went to triage... then the waiting game happened. What did we watch happen in the ER? 3 people left without treatment because they were waiting for so long. 1 even commented that they wanted to leave to ensure my child went before them because they could see how miserable they were. I mean who wouldn't be with a fever of OVER 103 with a cough and more? After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, we asked the check-in ladies if there was any update even in regards to the test given to her in triage. We were rudely told to just wait because there aren't beds or doctors to help. The lack of compassion or any emotion was astounding by the younger woman on staff. I'm terribly sorry for interrupting your phone time. We waited another 30 mins just to see, but nothing. My child finally had their appetite back and wasn't about to make them continue waiting since they hardly ate all weekend. I purposely waited until the older woman arrived at the check-in desk again to let them know we were leaving. Didn't want to interrupt the other's phone time. Learned my lesson the first time. The older woman was full of sympathy and understanding as she checked us out. The ONLY reasons for getting the star is the older woman in check-in & the triage nurse. The older woman showed so much compassionate for those waiting ensuring they stayed comfortable, getting blankets, cups of water, vomit bags to those feeling ill, etc. The triage nurse for her understanding of how my child felt so uncomfortable and just wanted me to hold her the entire time. For how transparent she was and her strong communication skills. EDIT: The generic, repetitive response given by the reputation team just shows the amount of care you have for mine and all the other reviews left. You saw 1 star can pushed out a response instead of reading anything left above. Why call if this is the response received? What's the guarantee I'll even be heard by the person on the phone if this is how the reputation team responses when they are suppose to CARE about St. Luke's REPUTATION?

Negative experience: My fiance took her son to the emergency room on a Sunday with bad diaper rash. The idiots who work here decided that the diaper rash wasn't diaper rash and it was actually second degree burns due to someone pouring boiling water on a 5 year old's private parts. Heavens forbid!!! They tortured a pregnant mother and her five-year-old son with children services accusations. Children's services on the other hand is no better. Especially once they get a misdiagnosis from the doctors who are supposed to be educated in what is what. Children's services shuttled the pregnant mother and her son to another hospital an hour and 20 minutes away in the city. Better doctors were able to determine that none of this was due to being burned by water. The hell that they put a pregenant woman through while being pregnant is unforgivable. The other hospital completely disagreed with the misdiagnosis given by St Luke's physicians. They determined this was diaper rash just as originally explained by Mom.

Positive experience: Hi I had to take my 77 year old Aunt to get a CT scan on Saturday and she had trouble walking she gets out of breath and when we got there we where going to radiology and the front desk lady yelled where are you going? I pointed over to the room and she snapped you have to check in here first! So back we went mean while this maybe a shot walk for most people but my Aunt was getting out of breath, then after her standing there answering all her questions I asked about a wheelchair and she pointed to the entrance and said go help yourself while I was getting the wheelchair my aunt told her she had trouble walking and the woman said it's just over there! Seriously you need to get a new personality! How does she know how far she can walk! I have never ran into anyone there or at the old hospital that was nothing more than super nice but this woman needs a new line of work and I hope I never run into her again! I myself walk with a cane and hope since all my doctors are with St. lukes I never have to deal with anyone like he again!

Negative experience: I, friends and family have received incredible care at St Lukes locations over the years. However I would not go to this campus. It is awful. Our experience was so bad. So many things were wrong, the staff was horrible. I know things are rough right now and I have a lot of empathy but the things I saw and heard this evening were unbelievable and not at all representative of St Lukes. Hopefully St Luke’s leadership deals with this.

Negative experience: My parents were talking involved in a motor vehicle accident and transported to St Luke’s Quakertown. I drove an hour to be with my parents and when I arrived I was told my father was discharged and was in with my mom and only one visitor was allowed back. I then asked for someone to at least come out and give me an update, which a nurse did come and spoke to me. In the meantime my Dad came to the waiting room , so I then asked to be allowed back, but the story then changed to it has to be the same visitor. This is just poor care, should allow people to know she common sense, all I wanted to do is see my Mom, I would have then returned to waiting room. I guess this is no surprise from a hospital who only a week ago couldn’t help my Dad with a kidney stone and a simple procedure turned into a 3 day affair with a transport to Bethlehem. This may be at best an urgent care center!

Negative experience: I had an MRI with contrast in my right hip. Getting the injection was terrifying, but that part of the process went well, the PA was awesome! That is the only reason my rating has one star. They were great. When I went to get my MRI I was relieved, considering the contrast is extremely uncomfortable. When I left the hospital, I felt a big weight lifted off of my shoulders. Then, I receive a call 4 hours after I left - I needed to go back. Apparently the MRI tech who was supposed to make sure the machine was taking the proper imaging chose to take a personal phone call during my test and chose the wrong hip because she was distracted. I had to leave work, 45 minutes from the hospital, to go right back to have my other hip done and hope there was enough contrast left so I didn't have to have another injection. I called after I left to complain and was sent to a voicemail. I left three voicemails over the course of a week and never heard anything. I had to look up the president of the Quakertown campus on LinkedIn and email him to even get a response - that's ridiculous. After I spoke to the manager of the imaging department, she told me basically there wasn't anything she could do. She hardly apologized, just brushed it off and made it sound like I was inconveniencing her by having the audacity to call and complain. If I take a personal call at my job, I could be terminated. This person makes a medical error, and they didn't do anything. I got a letter from them 4 months later saying they were sorry. I had the MRI in 2019. I don't want a canned response. I would like the radiology manager to understand that her lack of empathy and understanding has still affected me to this day and has made it so I will NEVER step foot in that hospital again.

Negative experience: Lack of compassion is an understatement! My daughter was sick and looking to see a doctor. She had recently had a moderate case of covid BUT followed CDC guidelines on quarantining. Two days after guidelines required, she had an appointment. The receptionist was wonderful with checking her in. However, the medical assistant brought her back to the room scolding her about being there, promptly told her what room to go in and left to suit up in covid gear. When my daughter was sitting in the room, she heard her screaming at the receptionist (using her name and condition which violates all HIPAA laws) for letting her into the clinic. Then, this woman returned in full gear and continued to argue with her on whether she should be there or not... you know, at a clinic to get medical care. By the time the physician (or practitioner) got to her, my daughter was visibly upset. She just wanted her copay back and to leave. The physician was nice enough to help her with this and then gave her the number to the office administrator. I called the number, however, the administrator is out on leave until February. When I called the office directly and asked to speak to the office manager, I was sent to the same voicemail. I was going to let this all go. However, clearly nothing is going to be handled or taken care of for months. That is why I decided to write this. You are suppose to be medical “professionals” who deal in patient “care”. Nothing about this experience was caring or professional. There are several other options of offices/ clinics to visit. I highly recommend any of them. Lastly, I’d just like to mention I’ve worked in customer service (including doctor’s offices) for over 30 years. I understand what it takes and bad days. This isn’t the case. This woman just shouldn’t have this job.

Negative experience: Awful hospital. Thankful I've never had to stay here or have any treatments or procedures done here, but my poor grandmother has had to deal with these unprofessional nurses and doctors for years. Most recently she had a trip to the ER, was admitted, and our entire family was told we can't visit OR call (due to COVID restrictions) but we try to call someone every day to get an update, and no response. When we do finally get a response they update us on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT patient, with the wrong symptoms, and told us about a surgery they had just done (on said wrong patient). Unbelievable. DO NOT go here if you have a choice– they have a long ways to go in professionalism and getting their facts straight.

Negative experience: I've gone to the ER many times in the last year complaining of trouble breathing, dizziness and chest pain. every time worse then the time before.everytime after thousands apon thousands of dollars I was told I was having panic attacks. I ended up going to lehigh valley and they saved my life because my lower artery was blocked 100%

Fantastic experience: I had to have shoulder surgery and would definitely recommend this hospital. Every one was so nice and caring. I think the doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff were competent and knowledgeable.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. How do you lose someone’s standing order for blood work. They may have located but still your registration people at the Park Ave. campus are rude!

Negative experience: I had to change my rating (which was orginally 5 stars for when I had to visit the er). One of the doctors told me my infant has RSV because shes not up to date on her shots. Plenty of babies fully, partially, or not vaccinated have gotten RSV and he was very nasty anyway. Don't think I will be coming back unfortunately because most of the other staff are very helpful, polite, and good at their jobs.

Negative experience: While the staff was pleasant and fairly accommodating, the communication between the different doctors and nurses was sorely lacking. The left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. Will never go there again. Next time either Grandview or Lehigh for me!

Negative experience: We took our 9 month old here at 3am for a small laceration (a little less than an inch) to the back of her head. It was 3 am and it was bleeding a lot. As new parents, we were concerned and thought it was better to be safe and take precaution- we weren't sure if it was deep enough that it would need to be glued. When we arrived we were quickly greeted and taken back to a room to be examined. The two nurses were very helpful and thorough. However, when the male nurse left the room I heard him say to someone else how 'superficial' her cut was and that it was ridiculous that we were there. The person he was speaking to responded by saying that their resources could be better used. I was shocked! First of all, why would you speak about a patient within hearing distance. If someone is taking their child to the ER, or there for them self, they're already under stress with the situation, why add more and make them feel horrible for their decision? Secondly, I don't care how 'superficial' they thought our daughter's cut was, we were being responsible parents. Would you rather us be neglectful? I think we have enough children in this world that are neglected, be grateful that we're concerned parents. Thankfully the doctor that came in to look at our daughter assured us that we made the right decision and she did in fact need glue.

Negative experience: Went to the ER for a deep partial thickness burn to my foot. Was diagnosed with a "first degree burn"... My skin was dark and leathery and did not blanch when pressed. I told the practitioner that I did not agree with their assessment and that the color and texture of my burn were inconsistent with a diagnosis of a first degree burn but she defended her diagnosis "if it was deeper it would be white". Was given a tetanus shot and told to follow up with LVHN burn center in a week. Four days later and the burn has blistered over and and my entire foot is swollen... Because it's not a first degree burn. I've had issues with incompetence when taking my son there but I figured it was because they weren't a peds hospital and that they would be able to competently treat an adult patient. I was wrong.

Negative experience: Not sure how they are now but about 7 years ago I went in and they did a CT and x-rays and told me nothing was wrong. Later that night I was in so much pain I went to a different hospital they performed the same test and I was told I had two right orbital bone fractures and a broken nose and needed emergency surgery if I sneazed I was told the bone could go into my eye and blind me. I went to St Luke's got the scans and reports went to university of Pennsylvania and was told by ent that second hospital was right he also showed me the fractures in both scans saint Luke's and 2 ND er. Years before I had another issue their where they messed up. As far as I am concerned I'll never go there and would never recommend anyone going there. Now it has been years so it may have gotten better but I had a two bad experiences with them and rightfully I should have filed a lawsuit because the lack of care and no pain meds on top of it if I did not go to the 2nd er who knows I could be blind right now because of lack of proper care and I had insurance so it wasn't like they were not going to get paid. If you go there and feel something is not right I definitely would get a second opinion. As far as outside of the er I am unsure how the care is it could be great or it may not be. This is my personal experience and I am sharing because I do not want another person to have the multiple mistakes happen to them.

Fantastic experience: My brother was visiting me from Jacksonville FL last week when he became ill. I took him to St.Lukes clinic in Center Valley, where they immediately determined he needed to go to the hospital emergency room. I rushed him to St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown, and they were waiting for us. He was admitted with pneumonia. I was so impressed with all the staff there, doctors, nurses, aides and attendants were all kind and compassionate. When it was determined that he was terminally ill, family rushed to his bedside and St. Lukes was so hospitable and welcoming to my large family. They made room for all of us, brought in extra chairs, food and coffee and were so helpful and accommodating. Death of a loved one is never easy, and St.Luke’s was acutely aware of that and did all they could to make all of us comfortable. Thanks so much to the staff there for being so kind, caring and compassionate during the three days my brother was there. I don’t have all of the names associated with my brother’s stay there, but many thanks to; Tony Phillipi, Gisele, Jenn, Kamryn, Alex, Dr. Nicole Yoder, and Dr. Erin Fly.

Negative experience: I’ve had nothing but bad experiences here. It’s mostly with the emergency room nurses and staff, they are so awful at their jobs and have the worst attitude you’d think you were at a fast food restaurant. The bedside manner is laughable, they vocally abuse their patients both behind their backs and to their faces and threaten them with the security team simply for asking more than once when the doctor would be in. They roll their eyes, they curse, they eat their lunch and then touch medical equipment without washing their hands. It’s possibly the worst medical practice in the state. Even if you’re dying, don’t go here. They’ll probably just make things worse for you. Edit: if you’re reading this and you’re currently waiting either in the waiting room or in an ER room, leave now, it will only get worse and they can’t legally stop you. They kept me waiting over 14 hours for a doctor for a serious emergency that then caused preventable damage to my health, and tried to convince me I could not leave (which is illegal detainment).

Negative experience: This is by far the worst ER experience I have had. At first I was called back quickly and my nurse taking my vitals was fine. She didn't seem experienced but she showed me kindness, which is rare at St. Luke's. Unfortunately, after putting me in a room, her shift ended. I waited, and asked politely if there was an estimate as to when I'd be seen, or if there was any way for me to get medication that I need, but left at home due to rushing out the door after my injury. She rolled her eyes at me and told me I can take it when I go home. I told her I needed it now. She didn't care. I asked her if I should go to an urgent care if she thinks that I'm low enough on the list, she didn't give me an answer. I asked her if I can at least know how serious my injuries are, since no one had come to check on me, clean my wound, or even give me a new gauze since the kind nurse went home. I watched from the room as the nurses were on their phones, eating and dropping food, gossiping with medics who brought others in. I called someone to tell them what had been happening. A nurse about 4 times my size came in after eavesdropping on my conversation. She got about 6 inches from my face and started screaming at me and putting her finger in my face. I got security called on me for warning her. They called the doctor in to talk to me and I come to see she was one of the people just sitting and eating. The reason (according to them) that I was being denied medical treatment was because of people with worse conditions. No one was in there with them either, and the doctor wasn't doing anything. I told them multiple times that I just need my medication, but they said since it's not what I came in for, they couldn't help me. So here's a note- if you have allergies and need an epipen, diabetes and need insulin, mental issues and need medication- don't come here. Unless that's the reason you came in, they won't help; or at least, that's what they told me. I was asking for them to tell me how to leave, about 5 times, and they kept yelling and interrupting me and telling me to wait. I said I didn't want to wait, I wanted to leave and get medical help. Even though they were trying to get me to stay and I was begging them to move so I could leave the room, they had security escort me out. I drove to GVH Urgent Care and was helped and stitched up in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was kind and helpful. The nurses weren't asking ME the next step in their care, unlike St. Luke's. I was given time frames, and left with a smile. St. Luke's is unsanitary, unprofessional, and abusive.

Fantastic experience: Had to have an MRI. I had one years ago and i almost lost it. So the next time I had to have one I asked about an open MRI. The said it was ok. That wasnt bad. Then when they said MRI this time I asked if I could do an open MRI. The doctor said he would rather not. He sent me to St. Lukes in Quakertown. When i got there i told the technicion i was really nervous and related how it went the first time. He was great. He reasured me it would be ok. He also told me that MRI's had changed. He showed me the machine and explained how much easier they were now. He said if I had any problems he was there to help me. He was so kind anmade me feel comfortable. As he set me up heexplained what would happen. After it was done, I was amazed ar how easy it was. I then had to have another one on a different area. I was not the least bit nervous this time. Again the technician was very nice. It didn't seem like it took that long at all even though it was about 45 mins. Kudos to the technician's that run the MRI equipment.

Negative experience: I went to the ER last night because my infant daughter scratched my eye. The attending physician numbed my eye and dyed it to see if my cornea was scratched. The doctor then stated she did not see any scratch but would prescribe antibiotic drops just in case. The nurse then came in with an ointment and stated it had to be applied every 4 hours while awake and it would cause my vision to be blurry for the next 5 days so I cannot drive. I then stated that I have 4 children and cannot be unable to drive for that amount of time. In response the nurse stated that I’ll just have to apply it as often as possible and discharged me. By this morning I could barely see out of my eye, it was extremely painful and my eyelid was swollen. I went to an ophthalmologist who stated I had a significant corneal abrasion (scratch across my cornea). The ophthalmologist showed my husband the scratch and he could see it from over a foot away. I do not understand how the St. Lukes physician claimed to see nothing. The doctor had to remove cells on my eye to ensure it heals properly. She also prescribed eye drops (not salve) for during the day and a salve for at night so I am still able to treat my eye properly and care for my family. If I would have just gone with what St.Lukes told me I could have developed a massive infection, my eye would not have healed properly and I may have even lost my vision. I would not be writing this review if this was my first poor experience but I have had several at the St.Lukes hospitals throughout the area. I will never go to any division of St.Lukes again.

Negative experience: If it was possible to give zero stars I would, a prime example of corporate greed profiting on the sick. $1400 for a 30 min scheduled doctor visit, it's criminal what they do to people. And this was with insurance. The best part is when I went to a specialist they said all of the tests done were completely unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the St. Luke’s Care Now and St. Luke’s Hospital Quakertown Emergency Department, On Sunday August the 5th (2018) i visited the St. Luke’s Care Now. I had during 6 days already a swollen leg. At both departments they helped me directly, were very friendly and helpful. After the visit at the Care Now they send me over to the St. Luke’s Hospital. Because of the swollen leg they were afraid for thrombosis. After several tests and an echo of the leg the diagnosis was NO thrombosis. I left the hospital Very Happy (and reassured)! Negative experience: Dr. Bejamin is a narcissist and misogynist who mis diagnosises and over medicates his patients. He does not like patients being pro active in their healing and recovery. Negative experience: ive been to this hospital several times. First time i cam in by ambulance, with severe smoke inhalation on top of my asthma, it took me over 9 hours of gasping for breath before they treated me with anything including o2! now i have COPD and permanent lung damage due to that. the 2nd time i went in with a cat bite thru my wrist joint- i told them i needed iv antibiotics and the just sent me home after washing it- a day later i was sent to abington hospital in excruciating pain and massive infection , having to stay a week on iv antibiotics and just getting by without major surgery ! another time i went there was because i had a broken leg and they were refusing to admit me until a friend of mine who was a nurse at a different hospital convinced them to keep me under observation . the next day i had a mri and the drs came into my room very sheepishly saying i was right and i did have a broken leg but x-rays did not pick it up. by the way my leg was the size of a telephone pole -5 times the size of the other and i heard it break but they did not believe me! i gave an xtra star because the staff took care of me well- maybe because they were embarrassed ??

Negative experience: Normally I have nothing but good things to say about this er, this time though was different. Me and my fiance went with a friend. He was brought in by ambulance after he passed out at work. He was admitted with signs of vomiting non-stop for 4 days, dizziness, double vision, pain in groin, he wasn't able to stand up with out falling or walk and he passed out. Once at hospital he kept passing out then coming to over and over again along with feeling like his throat was tightening and also along with choking, every time we said anything we were told that they were not going to do anything until he stopped breathing.

Negative experience: He over-medicates. He doesn't understand addiction and gives a lot of addictive drugs to addicts. I know of at least one of his patients who committed suicide on his watch, and another who was severely emotionally abused and some others who were institutionalized as long as their insurance lasted which was over a year while people with the same condition were released as soon as their insurance ran out. I would never send a loved one to him for help.

Negative experience: UPDATE:Ended up seeing the doctor after FOUR hours. And that occurred after i complained to the supervisor. I was told that there is normally 2 doctors in the ER but today unfortunately there is only one, and the PA was diverted to another hospital. So that left one doctor in the ER. I was told that a patient had been brought in by ambulance who was in cardiac arrest and the dr had to focus on that case. I told her I understood that, but does that mean the whole ER shuts down for 3 hours while they work on that patient. It seems St. Lukes has an issue with proper staffing levels. The supervisor filled out a complaint on my behalf, and I intend on calling and complaining to hospital management. I have been sitting here for over an hour (now over 2 hours) with the daughter of a friend of mine who is in severe pain, and no sign of a doctor. Nurses are sitting around gabbing. Very unprofessional. I will never step foot in this place again. This isn't the first time I received crappy service at the ER here. They don't seem to care the slightest about how the patients feel.

Silvana Gallagher 9 years ago

Negative experience: The most horrific experience from medical professionals I ever experienced. They should be ashamed of themselves. Upon arrival to the ER, I was accused of being a Narcotics addict without any testing or proof, instead they profiled me and stereotyped me simply because I was screaming and crying with excruciating pain in my back, hip, and leg. They stripped me of dignity, treated me like a junky, and demoralized me as human being. Come to find out eventually, I had 2 herniated discs. As I was screaming for help to make the pain stop, one nurse said "Your not getting narcotics now, and your not getting narcotics when you leave, do you understand me!" At this point I asked my Mother to call the police. Within a minute of me asking my Mother to call the police, they sedated me without my permission or my knowledge to shut me up. I woke up 2 days later. Do not go to this hospital. They are not interested in your civil rights, they are not interested in the hippocratic oath. They will leave you feeling violated and angry beyond belief. Again, do not go to this hospital, especially the ER. I reported them to the department of health and they are under investigation at this point. I will not stop until someone is held accountable. I am suffering not only from 2 herniated discs but I now have severe anxiety and fear of hospitals. Can you imagine being put to sleep without your knowledge and waking up 2 days later. It's been a nightmare trying to get past this, but until someone is held accountable for treating me like a junky and then putting me down like a horse, I will not stop.

Negative experience: Terrible staff very unprofessional. They are more interested with their personal life and planning their weekend than attending to the patients. I strongly recommend going to GVH or LVH...
