Negative experience: Be careful going there. I went two times and with insurance they tried billing me over $2000 in 2020. I spoke to somebody and I explained that there’s no way this would cost this much with my insurance and they definitely added things that I did not do at my time of service. They came back with a letter today in 2025 saying that I owe them money and were going to contact legal against me from something in 2020 that I have heard nothing about because I was told it was taken care of again, back in 2020. I called to speak to the billing manager who was extremely rude and telling me they don’t do free services. That’s not what I asked for her. I asked for an explanation of why they were sending me a bill of $800 from 5 years ago? Back then they said they were going to talk to my insurance and update the services because not all of them were rendered. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else who doesn’t lie hand put fake charges on your account. 2/27/25 Updating- Got another letter in response to this review threatening that they have up to six years to collect from their lawyer. That may be, however no one has reached out to me in five years so this does not make any sense to try and collect now in this economy when I did have insurance back then. Sticking a lawyer on me is not a very good way of handling the situation.. especially when the first day was a free consult and I was told that this was taken care of already since my insurance did pay a portion. But of course, there is no record of that. Thanks.

Their ability to know each patient’s injury, discomforts, and therapy preferences demonstrates their attention to detail, and a kindness that makes you feel well cared for in their facility.

Fantastic experience: We picked Comprehensive for our physical therapy needs for us and for our 13 yo soccer player. The staff are so very well trained, caring and friendly! Dr. Lieberman is so knowledgeable and focused on returning patients to optimal functional activities. Our daughter is back to playing soccer well and am on the mend from years of shoulder and back injury.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Comprehensive Medical for a little over a year now and every time I walk in the door I am greeted by reception and feel welcome. Then, my time in the wait area is brief before I am brought in for treatment. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable. I have been working with multiple professionals here from physical therapy to occupational therapy, chiropractic and even acupuncture. I always leave feeling better than when I first walk through the door. They have flexible hours that accommodate my crazy work schedule and it is easy to make or change appointments. If you are in pain I highly recommend giving them a try!

Fantastic experience: When I started my therapy months ago I was in so much pain. I couldn't put on socks or tie my shoes. I had to wear my Crocs because of my lower back pain. John, Carissa, and Jaz did a great job helping me get back to normal again. The staff in the reception area were so helpful and understanding. A few times I had to cancel my appointments at a moments notice. No problem they went out of their way to find me a new appointment so I could keep up with my therapy. They are real troopers. I just had my last therapy session. I was given a great send off and also a few papers with some stretching exercises to follow to keep me in good physical shape. Now it's up to me they did their job, now I must do mine. If you're hurting these are the people to see. I never thought physical therapy could help me with my pain but my friend told me to check these physical therapists out, and I am so glad I took his advice. I personally refer them check them out.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years. The staff is great and I’m in and out in rather short order. Dr Micah is the best. For years I’ve not been keen on chiropractors in general over the years from bad experiences. Dr. Micah is different and has been great for my neck and my back. I also did 6 months of PT in 2022 for my knees. Knock wood I continue to be pain free from that experience.

Fantastic experience: I have to say I’ve had numerous injuries throughout my life and with that being said I’ve been to many physical therapy practices and Comprehensive Medical Care is by far the best I’ve ever been to. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve been treating there for about a month and a half and i am amazed with my recovery. It is such a fun and uplifting setting for anyone experiencing pain from orthopedic conditions Would definitely recommend to all family members suffering from pain from orthopedic conditions.

They are so knowledgeable and take the time to explain the process of how they want to go about treating my neck pain. They also do monthly tests that measure your strength and range of motion which have been a great way to see my progress!

Fantastic experience: I was prepared for my visit but, still somewhat apprehensive. I have been coping with joint pain problems and really hopeful about a good outcome. Dr. Vincent proved to be a first-rate specialist in the area of arthritic pain issues for deteriorating knee and joint related pain. I was very impressed. Moreover, since i have been back and forth for more than a few years seeing different doctors, I know what good helps looks like and so far, I'm confident with Dr. Vernon's approach to my care. Oh, by the way, this journey began with my Chiropractor, Dr, Anthony Carabasi, at Integrated Spine and Pain, in Cherry Hill, NJ, who referred me to Dr. Vernon.

Fantastic experience: My journey started with them on 8/29.. I had fallen on 8/28 and after visiting urgent care they had me follow up with an orthopedic .. They had same day appointments available which was amazing because I could not walk and was in extreme pain.. When I tell you Dr. Vernon went over and above it’s an understatement… fast forward to after surgery I am being treated by the Monroe office .. their treatment is 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Before coming for therapy I could not walk at all .. within 3 days I am able walk with a walker and I was able to drive for the 1st time .. Kudos to Chris Bufano for your excellent service and patient friendly attitude … Everyone from the front office staff and all the therapists are top notch .. my journey to recovery ❤️‍ is at the beginning.. but I could not be more pleased and grateful!!!!!!

From the first visit with Dr. Vernon, he put me at ease by spending time really listening to my concerns and conducting a thorough exam and any follow ups needed. I felt confident in Dr. Vernon’s diagnosis and did not hesitate to move forward with treatment. The extent of his experience and knowledge was evident from the start. He thoroughly explained my procedures and answered all my questions. He followed up with me on the day of and after my procedures. When I had a question after returning home on one of the days, I was able to speak directly to him within minutes. In addition to treating me for necessary vein issues, he also identified a knee issue I was having before I even told him where I had pain. The scope of his knowledge is remarkable. Fantastic experience: Dr. Vernon was God sent. He is a wealth of medical knowledge backed by experience, and a great deal of concern for his patients. I came to him after being sent from the ER with a migraine diagnosis, which turned out to be a stroke! If it wasn't for Dr. Vernon's wisdom and expertise, I could have ended with major health issues or worse. Dr. Vernon took his time to listen to me and was extremely thorough in his examination. Unlike the negligent doctor at the ER, Dr. Vernon sent me to get the proper imagine to find out the proper diagnosis, which turn out to be a stroke. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Vernon if you are looking for a doctor who has genuine concern for his patients, with vast experience, and who is willing spend any time necessary to listen to your heath concerns. Fantastic experience: I am currently under the care of Vita Lorina PTA for physical therapy on my shoulder which was fractured a few months ago. I am currently under the care of John Rosalie MS, OTR/L and Heemali Patel MS, OTR/Lfor occupational therapy on my wrist which was fractured a few months ago. These three therapist have been a team of life savers for me. I came to them in pain and unsure how much of my normal movement and ability I would get back. Over these months they have pushed and encouraged me to keep going. They never allowed me to give up. Their positivity, warmth along with expert activities, exercises and patience have proven to be successful. I continue to improve, surprising my orthopedic doctor with my progress. I look forward to continuing my therapy with this team. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. I will be forever in their debt.

Fantastic experience: Complete comprehensive medical care from orth surgery to chiro to pain mgmt. All are caring and professional and will manage insurance appropriately to get you better. I went elsewhere initially and they could not help me. After only a few months here they got both my lower back and injured knee better. These guys are real pros.

Anthony carabasi referred me to go to the one person he said would help me with my arthritis in my knee and that was Dr Vernon he is one hour from my house and it was so worth going to him he is an excellent doctor he cares about the patient getting better and the staff couldn't be more friendlier in helping everyone from jon and Kim and especially Dylan Dr Vernon assistant great place

Dr. Viser, Jeanine, Dillon, Dr. Leiberman, Dr. Vernon, Dr. Ricabala, Sara and most of all John at the desk (always willing to accommodate my schedule) make physical therapy a great experience, here in Monroe. Fantastic experience: I had over 60 visits at Comprehensive Medical Care. My shoulder surgeon said my recovery with PT was the best he had seen. Staff is very competent, caring and kind. Following their process is a sure way to get maximum relief that can stay with you.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been lucky enough to have Both Dr. Eric and Dr. Lieberman work on me. I herniated L-3/L-4 disk while working out and was in immense pain. After a few treatments these guys have lowered my pain level tremendously. As in I was living at a pain level of 9-10. I could barely walk or carry myself underneath my own weight, and in a few days I am working at a pain level of 1, if any at all. These guys are knowledgeable, professional, caring, and incredible in every way. Choosing to treat here was one of the best choices I could’ve made. Everything about my experience has been top notch, from the care John exhibited to me at the front desk, to the professionalism of the entire staff, to the incredible care Dr. Lieberman and Dr. Eric have for me while treating me. The whole staff works with smiles on their faces and creates an incredibly enjoyable atmosphere for all within the clinic. If I could recommend 10 stars I would! Thank you guys for helping me, and treating me, and making this painful time in my life go away so quickly and preparing me to return to my normal life!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been being treated here and the Edison location for over 4 months. All the doctors and staff are great. Dr. Vernon was fantastic and really helped to relieve me of pain! The physical and occupational therapists are great to work with and really know their stuff!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been using this practice for many years. On May 9th this year I needed to have my hip replaced. I knew exactly where I would go for my rehab and I can honestly say that the wonderful, kind and caring staff have helped me in every aspect of my recovery. From the minute you call to make your appts, and then check in with Johnny you know everything is going to be ok! Each snd every physical therapist took a personal interest in my rehab. Even during my slight set back I really mentally thought I would lose it and they talked me off the ledge. Dr. Mah, the chiro there is an amazing Dr! He legitmately cares about you! Remembers everything you tell him and makes sure you are getting the best care possible. My OT, Jureen (Im sorry if I missplelled) has been nothing less than awesome! A miracle worker! The whole team made me feel like I was the most important person there! If you are looking for a team who cares and are personally invested in your recovery, look no further! Call them! You will never be sorry you did!

Fantastic experience: I have had a very positive experience with Monroe Comprehensive Medical Care. I have had 3 separate interactions over the course of 6 years. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and overly accommodating. I have seen them for hip, feet, and presently back issues. I am currently seeing Dr. Ma, the chiropractic physician. He is incredible! Dr. Ma has a terrific personality and has done wonders to correct my back and hip pain. He constantly collaborates with the physical therapists and acupuncturist to ensure that I am receiving the proper regiment. There is a team mentality in this office that includes the patient. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of physical therapy, accupuncture, or chiropractic care.

Fantastic experience: Long story short— This place is great. Dr. John Rademacher is a very knowledgeable physical therapist, and delight to work with. Dr. Lieberman is a thorough, patient and exceedingly intelligent chiropractor. The long story— Following a car accident last March, I entered Monroe Comprehensive Medical Care feeling more like a sea creature than a human. (My neck, in a sort of protest, refused to move; my back seemed so crooked that I felt I was always preparing to perform a cartwheel.) My level of discomfort and pain were matched only by that of my apprehension and anxiety. With every conversation I had, however, (starting with the warm greeting and helpful nature of Jon at the front desk), my anxiety and apprehension settled further, as it was abundantly clear that I was in very capable and competent hands. Over the course of ten months, I had both physical therapy and chiropractic treatment under Dr. Rademacher and Dr. Lieberman, respectively. They consistently demonstrated their diligence, compassion, and expertise, while being both professional and personable. Thanks to the high caliber, personalized care that I received, I am officially feeling like a human again. (The range of motion in my neck is vastly improved; my back is perhaps better than ever.) Admittedly, I was not the easiest patient, but I was always met with kindness, patience, and understanding. They tolerated my complaints, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, accommodated my scheduling needs, and most impressively, devised creative diagnostic and treatment solutions to get around physical hurdles that I put in front them. It is for all of these reasons, and so many more that I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Lieberman and Dr. Rademacher/ Monroe Comprehensive Medical Care.

Fantastic experience: After suffering a horrible car accident at the age of 25 and spending months in a trauma icu and rehab facility I had to start physical therapy. I chose this place strictly for the location however, the therapists were amazing! John Rademacher and Jackie Salasa were the primary therapists in my recovery, but others filled in when needed. I spent months at this facility 3x a week and couldn't be happier with the care and understanding that these professionals contain. I was very determined but it was tough, every time I wanted to give up, had a bad session or couldn't physically do what as asked they encouraged me and held my hand through it. If it weren't for the main two therapists I worked with I know I wouldn't be walking today. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone for their therapeutic skills and the caring hands they handle you with.

Negative experience: First of all let me say that the therapist I was seeing (Emily) was very good, however she was only there on a 6-month contract from out of state. I do not have any experience with any other therapists there, so I am reviewing the company as a whole, not the actual therapy. The office staff was HORRIBLE and since they are the ones that you need to deal with for insurance purposes, appointments, etc, you may never actually get to a therapist. I should qualify this to say that I am referring to the actual clerical/management staff, in Edison, as Monroe is only a very small and minimally staffed satellite office. The issue: In the previous year, I had already met my deductible and so billing had not been an issue. Beginning in the new year (2017), I needed to actually find out how much each appointment would be costing me, out of pocket, etc. After the therapist repeatedly asking the person in billing to call me and myself calling multiple times over a two week period without a callback, I became determined, as time was going by, during which I was afraid that I was perhaps permanently losing range of motion, post-op. I called three times in one day and finally got 'Chris' (no last name given), who said he was the operations manager. By the time I got to him, I had been hung up on and placed on hold for over 10 minutes and 15 minutes, respectively. This, in addition to the total lack of responsiveness on previous days had me already annoyed. I tried to explain this to Chris, but he was not interested in listening, so I simply posed the original questions that I had. After I finished explaining, he basically started repeating back to me what I had said, so I stopped him. At this point, he literally exploded, YELLING at me. I do not believe I need to be yelled at as a customer, so I hung up and then called back, with the intention of asking for the owner or general manager. Chris answered the phone and again yelled at me and told me that for hanging up on him, I should never come back. Apparently Chris is the owners brother and so has license to act in whatever manner he sees fit. Since attitudes are set by management and reflected by staff, I can see how I had gotten the degree of unresponsiveness that I had, previously. In summary and since there are so many therapy places available, I cannot recommend using Comprehensive.
