Fantastic experience: I am only 3 months in on this journey and have noticed so many improvements. Most recently I ran a half marathon and had significantly improved my time. Last year I ran the same one and took 20 minutes off my time. That’s 1 min and 30 seconds faster each mile!! Eating gluten free dairy free and overall cleaner diet gives me more energy and an all over better feeling daily. Improving gut health and so many other areas as well as the IV therapy has given me a more enjoyable life. There are so many ways TWLD has changed my life for the better that I cannot list them all. With other areas to improve and I cannot wait to see the new me after a few more months. From exercising to family life, TWLD has made a positive impact on everything. I cannot thank TWLD team enough for what they have given us.

Negative experience: I feel it’s important to share my honest experience to help others avoid costly missteps. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on the thousands of dollars I spent at this practice, and I want to offer insights so others can make informed decisions. Dr. Saima Khawaja has a well-designed office and marketing process that encourages large financial commitments, and in hindsight, I can now see how carefully crafted the entire experience is. It blends a functional medicine approach with a high-touch sales strategy that’s highly effective. I was initially surprised by the intake questions—they asked about everything from my childhood to where my parents were born, and much more that didn’t seem directly related to my reason for coming in. Later, I realized this aligned with a classic sales principle: people are more likely to say yes when they feel deeply understood and emotionally connected. In most doctor’s offices, you spend maybe an hour on your specific concern. Here, you may spend 3 to 7 hours covering your entire life story, often touching on areas far outside your health complaint. After this extended rapport-building phase, you’re brought into another room and presented with expensive packages—usually ranging from $5,000 to $10,000—along with contracts that are legally binding for 6 to 12 months. You’re encouraged to sign up immediately, rather than taking time to consider the decision at home. I now believe this is intentional, because once people leave and think about it, they may reconsider the high cost. Unfortunately, the structure of these packages doesn’t always prioritize the patient’s outcome. If someone improves in 30 or 90 days, they’re still financially locked into the contract, with no flexibility to exit. In my case, when I tried to end the membership early, I was reminded of the documents I had signed and was told I was still responsible for ongoing monthly payments. I understand why subscription-based models are appealing for businesses—they create predictable income to cover staff and overhead—but when applied to healthcare in this way, it can feel restrictive and, at times, unfair to the patient. I’d have more respect for the model if it allowed patients to exit once they improved, but as of now, that’s not an option. In summary, the process often targets people in vulnerable health situations, builds a deep sense of trust, and then presents a high-cost commitment. Pros: Dr. Saima Khawaja is clearly knowledgeable and has helped many people—this isn’t a critique of her clinical abilities. Cons: Other functional providers in Central Ohio can offer comparable care without requiring long-term financial contracts. Some, like Tracy Honeyman, have shared that refunds were denied. As a general rule, if one person had this issue, there are likely others who stayed quiet out of fear of legal consequences. My goal in writing this is not to attack, but to warn others to read the fine print, ask hard questions, and give yourself time to think before signing anything. Negative experience: Before your initial consultation, it is required that you complete paperwork via a portal. This must be done prior to determining if you wish to proceed with the program. The date you sign the agreement marks the official start of the program, and you have a 30-day window to request a refund. For example, I signed my agreement on December 12, 2023, and my consultation occurred on December 20, 2023. After discussing with both the dietitian and Dr. Khawaja, I decided that this program was the right fit for me. The following day, I went to have my labs drawn, which cost just over $5,000. I then waited until my appointment on January 23, 2024, to discuss the lab results. At this time, I enrolled in the Essentials Program for nutritional support, which cost $5,999.99. Unfortunately, before my lab results were provided and the program could begin, the entire office staff, including the registered dietitian, left. I was not informed of this until I went to collect my lab results, where I learned that the only remaining staff member was the RN. I was told the RN would follow up with me the next day after speaking with Dr. Khawaja about my supplements, but I did not receive a call. After waiting until the following week, I reached out and finally received a call from Dr. Khawaja, who informed me that the RN had also left. She then asked what I needed, and I reminded her of the initial agreement for follow-up calls from the RN. At this time, I went in for an injection that required Dr. Khawaja’s administration, and she mentioned that her staff had all left. I expressed concern, as I had joined the program for nutritional support and health coaching, which were no longer available. Dr. Khawaja asked for patience and grace during this period. Fast forward to February 29, 2024, when I finally had a 30-minute consultation with the new nutritionist. She informed me that the doctor had approved a 7-day meal plan, which included 700-1,000 calories per day. During my clinical visit on March 19, 2024, I requested a reduction in supplements and more food options, as I had already spent $2,700 on supplements from January 23 to March 16. I was met with a dismissive response, stating that the doctor was tired of hearing about the money and would only recommend what was necessary. I also declined a $6800 IV Ozone therapy for my mold toxicity. On March 29, 2024, I had a second consultation with a different nutritionist, minutes before receiving an email informing me of the change. During our conversation, the new nutritionist mentioned an injection I needed, but after researching it, I could not find information about it. She then clarified it was semaglutide, a medication not listed on the program's website for another $290 a month. Given my previous concerns regarding the program's practices, I reached out to the provider and told her I didn’t want to continue with the program. She replied back that she would no longer be talking to me. I requested a refund for the remaining portion of the program, only to be informed that I would no longer be contacted, and my patient portal was deactivated. Despite having six months or more left in the program, as my nutritionist did not begin until late February, I was not offered any further assistance. The office manager informed me I should continue with the program. That is hard to do when your dr says she is no longer working with you and deactivates your portal. From Dec 20th- March 29th I spent nearly $14,000 with Dr. Khawaja.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Khawaja and her staff to anyone struggling with ongoing health issues. My entire healing journey, since I began last June, I've felt so welcomed, cared for, respected, and HEARD. I started down this path in so much pain and feeling defeated. But I knew there had to be a way and a root cause. Dr. K has helped me to identify those roots and to address them, allowing me to feel the best I have in a long time, body, mind, and spirit. All are addressed here as a whole. If you are reading this, and afraid to try something different, or afraid of the cost, or change...dont be. Fantastic experience: I recently was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and know that the word diagnosis is nothing more than a group of physical symptoms my body is experiencing. After meeting and talking with my Alopathic (traditional wester medical doctor) I decide that I also wanted to find a functional doctor (a doctor that goes beyond treating symptoms, and looks into the root cause of why you are having these symptoms). After an exhaustive search I found Dr. Khawaja and her practice. What impressed me with Dr. Khawja and her staff is they go above and beyond! Fantastic experience: I heard many people get relief from their symptoms from this clinic & that it’s the best internal medicine center in the city. I did my research and found that to be true and made my first phone appointment and spoke with them and boy did my heart know to go forward and I was in for my first in person appointment with the doctor yesterday and I am kind of blown away from their professionalism. Also I walked in feeling tense and they walked me through a few techniques they teach their patients that made me feel soo calm at the end of the first appointment without even taking any blood tests or doing any diagnoses yet. I literally felt soo great. I’ll update again at the end of my treatment process but they surpassed my expectations. I spoke with the doctor for over a hour and feel that I have a close relationship with her now and certain that she will treat my condition and hopefully we will get some diagnosis for my symptoms sooner than later.

Fantastic experience: I received a cancer diagnosis in 2023. I started researching how to heal the body. I made the decision to try some alternatives to the standard protocols of treatment. My state has very few resources so I started looking for certified functional medicine doctors within a three hour radius and knew immediately after reading every detail on Dr. Khawaja’s website that she could be an excellent option for me. After our initial phone call, I felt reassured. She and her staff treat the entire person and not just the disease. We started with extensive testing and it was very clear to me why I was in this situation. I have a very detailed plan that includes appropriate supplements, monitoring, a health coach, and IV Ozone therapy. I have learned so much about things to do at home also. After completing the initial lab testing, she started me on the supplements that she thought that I needed based on the results. I also started eating much cleaner as she advised. Positive experience: 2023 started out badly for me. I had been wrestling with two autoimmune thyroid disorders for over a decade, and I guess my body decided it just couldn't take it anymore. I was having some symptoms that didn't line up with classic thyroid symptoms. The worst of which being, a constant state of dizziness. I was also having "panic attacks" and was in a constant state of anxiety. I was exhausted even though I had literally not done anything that day. I could not sleep even though I was completely out-of-my-mind tired. I was incredibly irritable with my loved ones. And could not keep a thought in my brain. All of this interfered with my life greatly. I self imposed no driving for safety because of the dizziness I was having. My children were not able to rely on me for their day to day needs and the partner my husband had, had disappeared. I started seeking out advice from my healthcare practitioners which included a chiropractor, an endocrinologist, my general practitioner, an ENT, a neurologist, and a physical therapist specializing in vestibular rehabilitation. Through all this no one was able to give me any answers.The neurologist and physical therapist came the closest to giving me some relief from the dizziness but they still had no answers as to what was actually going on with my body. Through my husband's tireless research he suggested that we both go on the AIP diet and he also found The Whole List Doc. At first I was very concerned about the financial responsibility there is to see Dr K. But at this point I had already spent thousands of dollars in traditional doctor's offices with no relief. So I did the testing that Dr K. needed me to do, and I found out what is actually going on with my body. I came to her when I found out I was pregnant even though she is not a OBGYN, because I had mood swings, indigestion, very little energy for a 21 year old, and horrible periods before becoming pregnant. Fantastic experience: I am 48 years old and have enjoyed excellent health until last year. I am not exactly sure what caused it, but I started experiencing extreme fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and peripheral neuropathy. Fantastic experience: Hi I have known Dr Saima from 5 years and she is an amazing person and excellent doctor who treated my GERD problems. I just wanted to share a recent story with you. I went to my dentist for routine cleaning and got my gums checked. The dentist said that my gums are in bad shape and need extra thorough cleaning, which my insurance would not cover. She also said that I had to come again in couple of months for another thorough cleaning which was obviously not covered by my insurance. The dentist didn’t even recommend any toothpaste or medicine to help my gums. When I found out about this, the only name came up to my mind is my sweet doctor Saima. I texted her about my problem and I was impressed by her prompt response because we live in different states. She asked me to send pictures of my teeth. After she evaluated my gums, she sent me medicine and instructions on how to treat my gums. I started following her instructions and in couple of weeks I started noticing the results. Yesterday, I went to my dentist again for my six months cleaning and the dentist was shocked after seeing the improvements. My gums measurements, that were once 4s and 5s, are now 2s and 3s. I had indigestion and stomach discomfort. I was seen by a GI specialist and had an endoscopy. They told me I would need to be on medication for the rest of my life. She ordered many tests that my other doctors had never considered, and she was able to diagnose me with a gluten allergy that I had no idea about. Fantastic experience: Dr. Khawaja and her staff have been amazing. I used to take random supplements to try and help relieve my symptoms. Dr. Khawaja ordered some non-routine tests that narrowed down the causes of my problems. I have been taking the supplements and homeopathy pills for a little over two months and I am feeling so much better. Her knowledge is so vast and she is always willing to share that knowledge.

Negative experience: I felt like it was more about the money than my well being. I paid thousands of dollars and quit "the program". If she really cared about me knowing I had financial hardship. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Khawaja for 5 months now. I initially came to her office because I was turning 40 that year and wanted to get myself to the healthiest place possible moving forward. Fantastic experience: I had raised health concerns with my primary care doctor that I didn’t feel were fully explored. Fantastic experience: Dr. Khawaja and her team have supported me with natural and homeopathic therapies while I’ve been undergoing conventional treatments for Stage 3 breast cancer while also pregnant. The wellness plan she thoughtfully developed for me has helped me in minimizing the side effects from chemotherapy, which in turn has allowed me to continue living a fairly normal life during treatments. In addition she has given me natural remedies to address my tumor which helped expedite the tumor disappearing - it no longer showed up on ultrasound after just 4 chemo treatments (a much better than expected outcome according to my oncologist). Fantastic experience: I was seeking a doctor to help with gut related issues and overall reduced health- sluggishness, aches, energy, etc. I have had poor interactions with traditional medicine doctors and was seeking a functional medicine approach. After performing a battery of tests, Dr Khwaja recommended a temporary adjustment to my diet to reduce any reactionary elements and added some supplementation to help correct gut issues. After about 4 weeks, my energy and strength were back and I had no more pain or discomfort. My sleep is better and I am alert throughout the day and more productive. Additionally, my stamina is fully back and I feel younger. I have told several friends that I felt like I was 20 years older than I am when I started the program and now I feel 20 years younger.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s around 15 years ago in my late teens and have other health and autoimmune issues. I’ve always had digestive issues, headaches, fatigue, aches/pains, and photosensitivity issues. Being out in the sun for more than 15-20 minutes would cause rash, swelling, and nausea. Fantastic experience: For the past couple of years I have dealt with a few health issues. I wanted to find a functional medicine doctor to try and heal my ailments naturally. While I am still healing, Dr. Khawaja has helped me tremendously. I feel a lot better and have learned so much. She is very knowledgeable on how how all the systems in the body work and function together. She takes time with her patients and analyzes the whole body. She listens to them and takes every detail into account. She goes the extra mile to help patients. She's very knowledgeable regarding root causes of diseases and knows what tests to give patients to find out what's wrong with you and then what treatment to give to cure the problem. She's been responsive when I called on her for a problem that arises which, unfortunately, is rare among physicians. I would give her the highest recommendation possible. Fantastic experience: I felt desperate to find help for medical conditions where western medicine seemed to only treat the symptoms. Dr. Saima Khawaja helped me understand what was going on in my body (e.g., taking vitamin supplements for years but they were not being absorbed into my system, etc.) She developed a care program specifically for my health needs. While we are still early in the process, I feel that a health professional is finally dealing with the root cause of health condition(s). If you are concerned about the cost, I understand. I targeted my income tax refund this year for this specific purpose and I have no regrets. I highly recommend Dr. Saima Khawaja!!!
