Fantastic experience: If you have back pain, you HAVE to see Dr. Ryan Hanson. There's just no question or alternative. Seriously. His office gets the highest recommendations I can give any person, group, or business. I have used different chiros over the years, have never liked their hit and miss, crack-a-joint, hope and pray approaches as if hearing cracks and pops is entertainment. And I don't like the range of how random those treatments and outcomes can be. I think old-school chiropractic is dangerous and I don't like having my chiro giving me excuses. Dr. Ryan and his great office staff extends lives. That's how I felt after he made the pain go away (without cracking) because I literally couldn't sit or stand upright - even in a full body brace. I first discovered his unique approach by accident after making an appointment at one chiro, getting my directions mixed up, somehow ending up at his door. I had excruciating back pain where I (literally) had to almost touch the ground (bent over) to get any relief, but still having extreme pain. Standing up straight was not an option. I could only walk a few yards before having to do the deep bend, again in terrible pain. After starting with Dr. Ryan I got better with each treatment and have been seeing him for years in 'maintenance mode'. Because my situation is degenerative, I keep going back to Dr. Hanson - his practice is a true solution.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 15. By age 22, I had started losing feeling in both of my arms. This problem affected me mostly at night and caused me to be unable to sleep. Shortly after that, I ended up going to see a medical doctor hoping for some relief. Instead, all I was given was a prognosis that gave me no hope what-so-ever. The MD told me that the numbness in my arms was caused by pinched nerves in my neck and that I should expect this problem peripherally in the future. At the time, I had no idea what the heck that meant, so I asked the MD. She told me that I could expect the same problem in my legs in the future. I was crushed, I was only 22 and she had just taken away all hope of getting better. She then, asked me if I had ever seen a chiropractor. My answer was no. I thought to myself, what have I got to lose? I then ended up talking to a co-worker who was a patient at a local Maximized Living clinic. I immediately called and scheduled my new patient appointment. Within 3 weeks of receiving care and doing my prescription home exercises, the numbness in my arms was almost gone.
