Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Hamid for acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s helped me tremendously with regulating my menstrual symptoms—improving mood swings, acne, and anxiety. His treatments have brought real, lasting changes in my overall well-being. Even more impressively, he’s worked wonders with my son, helping to ease his ADHD symptoms and improve his appetite. Fantastic experience: I went BI after seeing several AMA specialists regarding sinus issues. Carolina reviewed my symptoms and overall health and proceeded to treat me for the sinus issue and also for a GI problem. Both were successfully resolved within a month. I continued to see Carolina for other muscular and joint issues that resulted in some relief but not a total cure. I worked with both Carolina and Jordan and I could not have felt more cared for and understood. They are both very sincere and caring people by nature which truthfully was in a large part why I believe my therapy was so successful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hamid is the best. For one, he listens to all that's wrong, and he works with you to make it right. Last month I had an allergic reaction; my face was swollen. He did his thing. I had to detox and flush out whatever made it happen. He gave me a treatment, and instantly I felt the tightness from my lips releasing. I was sent home with some herbal tea. No allergy medication was working. I took Zyrtec and Claritin, and it got worse. Not saying they don't work, just not like holistic meds. I always suffer from allergies, mostly seasonal. Since then I have not had any allergic reaction. Acupuncture works, I tell you. I also use it for my menstrual symptoms each month. RECOMMEND BIG TIME!

Fantastic experience: 18 months ago I was suffering from siatica,scoliosis, herniated discs, and a narrowing spinal cord. I was bent over to the Left and had great difficulty in trying to walk.i started my treatments with Dr Ilyas. I originally was going 3 times a week. Fantastic experience: I originally went to Dr. Hamid to improve my health, overall. I’ve had my share of health problems and want to do everything that I can to prevent any more. One of the things I was struggling with was severe hand eczema. I went to multiple doctors, was prescribed multiple different steroid creams, yet nothing worked. I even tried numerous different home remedies but they would only help short term. I couldn’t leave my house without making sure I had lotion with me, I was extremely uncomfortable all of the time and I would always hide my hands because of how bad they looked. I was told that there was no cure and it’s something I would just have to live with. I truly believed it would never go away. Then I went to see Dr. Hamid and from my first visit with him, he was confident that we would be able to resolve it and he did just that. My hands are almost 100% better. It’s been months since I had a flare up or needed any kind of steroid cream. Dr. Hamid is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. He is passionate about his work and it shows. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Hamid since March 2024. After having Covid for the second time in December 2023 I started breaking out in hives, developed dermatitis on my face and scalp, and got dyshydrotic eczema on my hands. I went to the two dermatologist who prescribed 6-7 different creams from steroids to immunosuppressants that wasn’t effective and was only a short term solution. I was then referred to an allergist who couldn’t find any specific cause and put me on high doses of antihistamines and creams which didn’t help much but take the edge off. I stopped itching myself to the point of bruising but was still struggling to the point it affected my daily life activities. I started doing my own research on diet and eliminated all processed foods, seed oils and started eating whole foods. I weaned myself off one of the medications but wanted to be off all meds. I ended up reaching out to Dr. Hamid for help and to find the cause. I went in for a consultation and he almost immediately knew what was going on. He is very throughout and thoughtful. He is very knowledgeable about the GI, immune system, nutrition, supplements, acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I never had acupuncture or any kind of Chinese medicine done before seeing him and I am big advocate for it now. I also did the GI map which gave insight into my leaky gut and poor immunity contributing to my skin issues. I was initially seeing him weekly and after 8 months of work I have been seeing him monthly. I am now off all antihistamines and rarely have to use creams. He also helped me come off hormonal birth control after almost 20 years of use due to PCOS. I have been off it 6 months now with little negative effects. I have regular on time periods now all with help of his diet recommendations and monthly acupuncture. All shocking to me after such long use and issues with PCOS. Anyone I talk to now I recommend Dr. Hamid. He has helped me turn my health around and I am so grateful for him. He is passionate about what he does and truly wants to see people get better. Fantastic experience: It’s rare nowadays you find a doctor willing to assess and diagnose a patient with care and, not to be underestimated, time. Dr Hamid’s approach from the moment I met him was to understand my unique needs and address them. And address them he did. I was seeing a highly touted physical therapist who worked with several high performance athletes. I was making progress, but I didn’t get to the root of the issue. That’s where Dr Hamid’s approach came in. He looked not just at my specific issue but how that area interacted with the rest of my body. It was an approach I rarely see taken today in medicine. Fantastic experience: I found Dr. Ilyas on Google while searching for TMJ treatments. My pain was becoming unbearable. This was my last resort before trying Botox in my jaw. After the first treatment, I had unbelievable improvement. My jaw didn't click and pop out of place. The pain and tension was gone. Fantastic experience: Everything I needed and more! I used to get sick every month due to low immune system and would have horrrrrrible cramps and ever since I started working with Dr. Ilyas I have barely gotten sick and my cramps are much better. Fantastic experience: "Best acupuncturist" is a severe understatement when describing the practice Dr. Hamid runs. We addressed several issues, including dysplasia found in my Pap smears and post-surgery complications. I experienced horrible pain during every menstrual cycle and suffered from severe stress due to my job. With Dr. Hamid's expertise, we were able to resolve all these issues. Previously, I worked with a doctor who claimed to practice functional medicine, but that was not the case. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Dr. Hamid by a few coworkers who had been seeing him for a few years. I had been suffering from migraines for a few years but they had become more frequent. When I had my first appointment I was getting migraines twice a week with full symptoms. Nausea, dizziness, sensitivity to light and sensitivity to noise. During my first appointment he did the initial evaluation. However he did dig further into some of my answers. Which I have never had a doctor do. It was extremely refreshing and it reaffirmed I was seeing a doctor who wasn’t going to just treat the symptoms. After my initial appointment I felt refreshed the next day. During the week after my appointment I was waiting for my weekly migraines to come but they never did. Not only that, the next 8 weeks of seeing Dr. Hamid I had one headache. That’s it. One headache. Fantastic experience: If you are on the fence about acupuncture, go to Dr. Hamid! He really has made such a difference in my life- he is a true healer. I started having pain from a pinched nerve in November of 2023 and knew I did not want to do cortisone shots or even entertain the idea of surgery, and I also did not want to depend on medication. I was in such pain, I had trouble sleeping through the night and could barely drive to work- and all day was just in pain. I went to one acupuncturist, also in Hollywood- first time ever trying it. I was so upset when I left, I felt like that doctor didn’t help me at all. Fantastic experience: Dr. Hamid was recommended to me by a good friend of mine after I was told by 3 different doctors that I had interstitial cystitis (not diagnosed, an assumption even after many exams and a cystoscopy done. All resulting negative) I was told by these other doctors that there was no cure or treatment for it. After seeing Dr. Hamid, he helped me realize that the severe pain in my bladder and uti like symptoms was stress related and that my chi was cold. Fantastic experience: In a world where healthcare often feels impersonal and rushed, discovering an acupuncturist like Ily is a gift to say the least. From the moment I stepped into his office I immediately felt comfortable and knew I was in capable hands. His compassion for not only healing patients with his practice but genuinely caring about them as humans is refreshing. I went in specifically for my TMJ (jaw pain), and little did I know he would be helping my neck, shoulder, back, glutes, hamstrings, and even neuropathy in my toes and period pain!!! Fantastic experience: I recently sought help from an Dr Ilyas Hamid, ‘Illy’ to address persistent chronic pain in my lower back, hip, leg, into my knee and calf radiating into my ankle. My right side was a comp[lete mess! The impact of this pain on my sleep, work, and ability to exercise was significant. And exercising is very important to my physical and mental well being!!! I had tried many other acupuncturist’s ,chiropractors, going to my primary physician, pain medication, physical therapy, as well as therapeutic massage. Nothing had helped me!!! Illy attentively listened to all my concerns and thoroughly assessed the problems associated with my condition. Since 2013 after being injured while serving in the US Air Force (non-combat related), I have undergone 8 neuro-spinal surgeries (C7-T6 laminectomies to repair dural defects and a tethered spinal cord) and an operation to place a shunt in my brain. Laundry list of things I seek help/relief with (chronic pain, nervous system stuff, etc). Acupuncture/functional medicine has become integral to my healing given the constraints of the Western/big pharma only approach. I was referred to Dr. Hamid through two other fantastic and equally brilliant functional medicine acupuncturists and family friends, Dr. Jonathan and Lauren Fields, who have treated me incredibly well over the years. When getting to Tamarac became too difficult, Dr. Hamid seamlessly took over my very complicated case (and improved upon the treatment plan). It was impressive and indicative of Dr. Hamid’s intelligence, wisdom, ability to listen and get to the source(s) of your concern(s).

I brought a family member here who was having some issues for about 2 years that we could not resolve, but thankfully Ilyas was able to guide us in the right direction. Fantastic experience: Dr Hamid is uniquely skilled to integrate approaches from traditional western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and much more. I had insomnia, heart palpitations, hot flashes, breast pains, low energy, terrible allergies to food, pollen. My physician, endocrinology specialist and OBGYN conducted basic blood work and concluded it was just perimenopause. They started me on HRT which backfired making some of my symptoms significantly worse. Dr Hamid looked at the issue in a wholistic way: he asked me a lots of behavioural, lifestyle and life stage questions; he ran an expanded blood and fecal panels. He send me a 6 page report of his analyses and recommendations for supplements, lifestyle and diet changes. His suggestions were so tangible and he was able to break them down for me in phases. I was so surprised how much he cared and wanted for me to get better and stay better. I had a multi issue situation and he navigated me through new terms and concepts - it was great! One of the issues I had, recall, was low energy. Dr Hamid ordered test for ferritin and iron. Turned out I was anemic. The supplements dr Hamid recommended really helped me. It was amazing to me that other doctors did not think to do this blood work. They attributed it all to lack of sleep due to perimenopause. Another issue was stress I was putting on my body which over time changed my circadian rhythm and reduced proper function of my immune system. Supplements, behaviour and diet adjustments recommended by dr Hamid did wonders. These are just two examples of how dr Hamid’s involvement helped turn things around for better. I’m thankful to dr Hamid and highly recommend him.

So I began to research other options and forms of treatment. We were very fortunate to come across BIMA. They had great reviews on google and we’re so happy we went. Dr. Hamid and the staff were very welcoming and informative from day one. Being that my husband was a skeptic having never tried acupuncture we had many questions and each was answered in detail. Dr. Hamid listened to each concern and addressed them almost immediately. Even other concerns such as stomach issues and stress and breathing issue. They even have the herbal supplements on hand for purchase so that we did not need to go searching stores for them. We highly recommend to any one suffering to take the time and schedule a visit.

His needle insertion is gentle. He takes his time and listens. Fantastic experience: Since I was 18, I always looked for alternatives to allopathic medicine. At that time, I had gastritis, and it was completely healed. Last year, I broke 3 fingers of my hand and needed ibuprofen in copious quantities to deal with the pain. Consequently, the seasonal allergy developed into a severe skin rash around my eyes and face, peeling daily and many times breaking. Before, I was not feeling well, but no doctor would listen to my comments. I decided to visit Dr. Hamid, and in a month, the skin of my face was normal again. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ilyas is legit! 5-Stars! I had dabbled in alternative healing before (chiropractic, dry needling, supplements, etc.) and it was always positive. Moving to South Florida, and going through menopause, I needed help that I was unaware of! Dr. Ilyas worked with me and constantly asked me questions that my primary doctor never cared about. After working with him and getting my mind focused on healing my inside and regulating my hormones, I saw progress right away! Fantastic experience: I was very sick for almost 2 months with chest congestion, fatigue, shortness of breath and just overall not feeling good. Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Ily has been more than 5 stars! I considered myself to be a healthy and athletic woman prior to seeing him, but when I got hit with covid in December 2021, my immune system took a nose dive very quickly. It caused my central nervous system to go completely out of wack and resulted in a series of debilitating symptoms that they refer to as long covid. I had far too many symptoms to list here, but the main ones were chronic fatigue, POTS, dizziness, walking instability, anemia, insomnia, and muscle weakness. I literally could barely walk in the front door properly. Unfortunately I suffered like this for 7 months, had numerous emergency room visits, and spent thousands of dollars trying to get back to normal before finding Dr. Ily. During the first intake visit he took the time to ask detailed questions about everything I was experiencing. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ilyas Hamid is THE REAL DEAL. I came to him when I had severe pain in both my knees and both elbows. This was after visiting 5 rheumatologist and 2 general doctors. None of them could help me, they simply ran me in circles with basic blood tests and no answers or resolution for my pain. I went to Ily with the security that he would take care of me with the upmost care and precision and we would work together to figure out the root issues of the pain. We decided to take the GI Map test which was a simple stool test, and discovered a few significant issues which needed to be worked on and corrected. Fantastic experience: 5 stars simply isn't enough when you're genuinely changing peoples lives. I started acupuncture sessions with Ilyas due to social anxiety, depression, and some other toxic patterns I kept falling into for nearly a decade. After a relatively short period of time with him, I felt so much positive shifting I wanted to dive deeper. He suggested a very intense 2 hour subconscious reprogramming session, which I agreed to. I have to say, after we finished as I left his office, I wondered if I had wasted my money. (This specific session was also nearly twice the cost of our previous acupuncture therapy sessions.) I didn't feel any different right away, but within 24 hours of the reprogramming, I started to see changes within myself that blew me away. Changes that could only be attested to his work in that session. I was reacting to myself in ways I hadn't before. I was seeing life differently, and in a way I had been longing to. Fantastic experience: Ilyas Hamid has improved my health immensely. After the 1st acupuncture treatment with Dr Hamid, he had recommended me to have a bloodwork work-up along with a GI mapping of my stools since my platelets were over 1 million and I had many other health issues. After Dr Hamid read my blood work, he found that I had a hereditary vitamin deficiency of Methyl B which was found to be the cause of the high platelets. I also had Enterohemorrhagic E. Coli which was causing other issues. After 3 months of being on the program, my platelets decreased by a count of 100,000 and my immune system started to rebuild itself. Some of my other issues were low sodium, high potassium and high cholesterol which I was unable to get the numbers to change over the years, even started to improve. By taken the supplements that Ilyas Hamid recommended I started to have better numbers for all three issues than I have had since the begin of 2020. I was diagnosed with Morton’s Neuroma by my primacy doctor after having an MRI done on my foot. I tried many different treatments on my own, however, every day I would end up taken Advil because of the tingling, numbness and burning sensations that were getting worse. There were days that I was unable to walk due to the pain and I hated taking the Advil. On my session with Dr. Hamid, I told him about my concern of taking Advil everyday just to be able to walk. Dr. Hamid suggested that I try Turmero – XL to help take down the inflammation in my foot. After about a week of taking the Turmero XL the inflammation went down and the pain stopped. I am now taking the Turmero – XL twice a day. Now with shoes designed for Morton’s Neuroma and taking the Turmero-XL every day and I no longer have the pain in my foot. I feel that Dr. Hamid doesn’t only take care of one specific issue that you may be seeing him for, I like that he makes sure his patients have (over-all) wellness.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy I met Ilyas. I've had sciatica pain for 4 years now and I've been to so many chiropractors and doctors. They've either made me worse or no change at all. I work a physically demanding job so every day I would have sciatica pain. At times the pain would immobilize me. Fantastic experience: Updated review: My health has taken a life changing turn around, and I couldn't be happier. Finding Balance Integrative Medicine, and Ily truly saved my life. After treatments and testing, we were able to discover I have a severe Gluten allergy (WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!?) I have been Gluten Free for just abut 2 months now and all my physical issues I have had for years have vanished. No more stomach pains, issues with bowel movements, headaches, and bloating. Through the Gluten allergy discovery due to testing, Ily informed me that I have leaky gut syndrome. He was able to explain everything in detail, and go over test results with me and make me feel so comfortable through it all. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Illy for the past several months. I had some really traumatic news given to me in September 2020 that really turned my life upside down. I had 2 options: 1, let it ruin my life and fall into a deep depression or 2, push forward and find my own inner happiness. Illy helped me to do the second options. I started seeing him once a week for a few months. Then slowly 2x a month. Our sessions were really private and confidential. He took the time to dive deep with me. The accupunture really went to the core of the pain and helped me heal those inner traumas. On top of all of this I was having extremely painful periods and lots of bleeding for years. He helped me change up my diet, which was rather a hard choice, but in the end has changed my periods for the better. They are way less painful (almost minimal cramping) and so much lighter. He also shared knowledge and explained different supplements that I should be on (that I did end up taking for a while). I owe my life to Illy (sounds dramatic…lol), but he really truly helped me heal in many ways when I really needed something to help me. Fantastic experience: My experience has been incredible and I highly recommend the services provided by BALANCE INTEGRATIVE. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis which was crippling. After only a short time my pain was diminished significantly and eventually resolved completely through the acupuncture treatments and functional medicine provided through BI. I’ve had chronic neck & back pain (multiple herniated discs, sciatica, lumbar facet syndrome, etc.), chronic stomach issues, and anxiety/depression issues for years. I’ve seen pain management specialists, chiropractors, gastrointestinal specialists, and more. I’ve had multiple injections and been on all types of medications including SSRI’s and opioids. My back & neck pain level was between a seven and a ten every single day. Walking was something that I could only do for a little while, some days hardly at all. Fantastic experience: I came in with sciatic nerve pain. My lower back has been bothering for the last year. I would recommend acupuncture for anybody. It was a great experience. The needle have little to no pain in a lot of areas.. My back has not been hurting at all. Fantastic experience: As a first timer with acupuncture, my first experience was definitely a releasing of doubt, anger and fear within myself for the last 27 years of my life. I have suffered from PTSD emotionally, mentally and physically from child abuse aside from that, I then came in to see ILY HAMID with an acute headache associated with eye floaters on my left eye which sharp pain traveled to the back of my neck down my spine. I haven't slept well for 7 years after I had my daughter it's been work and on my feet long periods of time. ILY HAMID had helped not only the painful heaviness burden from within but also helped the external pains a release it needed. I am Infinitely grateful for this experience and finally for once I could sleep at night without having to wake up every other hour or have too many things in the back of my mind or feeling like I'm Wearing heavy weights around my waist. The procedure was painless and the results were truly amazing. The next day as I'm writing right now has been the best next day ever. Fantastic experience: In all honesty, this is going to look like a cliche review, but WOW! This place is nothing short of a miracle! Ily is so compassionate and really takes his time to build the relationship to understand what you're going through to determine the proper treatment. I was suffering from chronic hives, had been to the allergist who prescribed steroids and antihistamines which did absolutely NOTHING. After the first 2 treatments with Ily my hives were reduced almost to nothing! Not saying he is a miracle worker...but...actually yeah, I am. But that doesn't mean I didn't have to do my part as well. You must open yourself to healing. And Ily helps you do that. Because if not, you won't get the full effect of treatment. Fantastic experience: I sprained my ankle in April. I had gone to orthopedics and doctors who took xrays and CAT scans but did not provide me any relief. They wanted to give me pain relieving shots and come back regularly for them. I refused as I don't believe in masking the pain. I have been sedentary for over 6 months and it has affected every aspect of my life. I met Ilyas and he recommended acupuncture.
