Fantastic experience: I have seen Lexi for many years in the management of my thyroid and hormones. Previous practitioners would run standard bloodwork and tell me I was fine. Fantastic experience: Started seeing Lexi 5+ years ago after the birth of my son—I was wired, tired, brain fog and gaining weight. After visits to my PCP, OBGYN and endocrine I was told “all labs look normal—You’re just a mom with a young child and a full time job.” I took a chance with Lexi. Fantastic experience: If I could give Lexi 10 stars I would. I was one of her first patients and have been with her as she has expanded her business. When I first came to her, I was struggling with brain fog, low energy, stubborn visceral fat, and just felt like a shell of myself. Shivaughn took the time to really listen and not just check boxes. She was so warm, compassionate, and thorough, it felt like I finally found someone who genuinely cared about helping me feel my best. Negative experience: I have been going here for three months. During my most recent appointment I was refused service. They quoted some policy I had never heard of saying, "there's a 5 minute grace period, and if you are 10 minutes late we reschedule you." I had never heard about this policy before, and it seemed abnormally aggressive given the reality that life happens sometimes. My experience here is that they are clearly too busy to give decency and consideration to their patients. I have definitely waited longer than 10 minutes for appointments in the past but was able to extend grace to them, and they clearly do not do the same. I wrote a letter to them explaining my grievance and the COO called me to talk. Even in that conversation I had to get in a debate with him and look up email reminders and policy updates to prove to him that they had not properly communicated this mystery policy that was used as an excuse to treat me poorly. He told me about how lovely his staff was, and wanted to offer me some consolation to make it better. But the fact that I had to PROVE to him that there was a lack of fairness or decency on their side before he truly took responsibility was indicative of the way they do business. It's just too hard to get common decency and respect from them. Something that one would expect from their healthcare provider. I finally met with my NP to go over my labs and it easily could have been done in 15-20 minutes which was about the amount of time I had left in my original appointment that they refused to give me. There was really no need for this rigid and overly aggressive removal of my appointment. While I like the idea of optimal living, I can honestly say that my experience here is that this is a one sided relationship and they are not overly concerned with how they treat you. Very disappointing given their line of work. It would have been an easy fix to find a different NP and move on, but this experience not only damaged my rapport with my NP, but also the entire establishment since there were so many people involved. My NP made the call to not allow me to have my original appointment, the front desk person followed that order regardless of anything I said in the moment, the COO defended his team and was reticent to admit fault of any kind. I have never been treated so poorly by any establishment. So if you're going to go here to take care of your health, just know that this is what you're getting into.

Fantastic experience: Nikki my NP has made a world of difference in a very short amount of time. She’s caring, kind & personable. I was dx with hypothyroidism in 2022 from my traditional PCP. I still felt bad with medication. 10 weeks ago I had my 1st apt with Nikki & got blood work. I found out I have Hashimoto’s. She suspected this as well after looking at another blood work test I had done independently 8 months prior. She told me it would be best to cut out gluten. After 9 days of being gluten free, I noticed a remarkable difference in energy. I have since cut out other typical allergens for now. I’m on supplements individualized for me based on blood work. I lost weight without trying which is a huge deal for hypothyroidism patients. I’m back to my weight from a decade ago, but most importantly fueling my body with proper nutrition & making other lifestyle changes. Nikki has been incredibly helpful, responsive in between appointments & is doing all she can to help me with my main goal of lowering my TPO antibody. I also did a GI mapping test & am excited to talk about the results with her & follow up with Jenny the coach. I met with Jenny regarding my nutrition & she was incredibly helpful about what to eat & food options for my nutritional restrictions & to improve my A1c. I am so happy I found YDP! Life is not the same, I am functioning & feeling so much better!

Fantastic experience: For twenty years I have been batting thyroid issues and have Hashimotos. I have had doctor after doctor tell me there is nothing to be done. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of the practice for over a year now and absolutely love everyone here! I have been seeing Haley as a provider for thyroid and hormone support and finally feel like things are moving in the right direction. Haley listens to all my questions and concerns and is so supportive. I’ve also seen Carmen, RN on the aesthetics side of the practice and absolutely adore her to pieces! She has the best personality and it’s so evident she loves her job which makes for a great patient experience.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this place! I've been seeing Haley since January and my experience so far has been life changing! My current treatment plan includes pellet therapy paired with a low dose Thyroid Rx and supplementing with DIM. In addition to these treatments (and possibly as a result of them), I've been able to completely eliminate alcohol, gluten, and dairy from my diet. In only a few short months, I've gone from sleeping on average 3-4 intermittent hours/night to 7 solid hours/night. In addition to sleeping better, I have more energy, my skin is better (also thanks to Lexi and her outstanding Xeomin injection skills), and my anxiety has decreased significantly. I had to wait almost six months to get an appointment, but the wait was well worth it. Haley does a wonderful job at explaining the results of your blood work and gives you different treatment options depending on your goals and budget. She doesn't push a ton of supplements or other extraneous treatments. All of the staff is professional, but also laidback and welcoming. I was actually surprised (in a good way) when I met Lexi for the first time at how chill and relatable she was. And I can't forget about Leigha who is usually the RN I see first at my appointments. She's super knowledgeable and was great at answering all of my initial questions about Dysport which I was getting for the first time. She didn't just put me in the exam room and shut the door, but she actually stayed with me until Lexi came in to do the injection. I seriously could go on about how wonderful and lifechanging this place is, but I encourage you to just make an appointment (or get on their waiting list NOW) and find out for yourself. It's astounding how hormones and thyroid issues are so frequently looked over when assessing a person's health and overall well-being. Most of the physicians and NP's I've seen in the past immediately prescribed medications to "fix" my issues with sleep, lack of energy/focus, anxiety, etc. And while some of the meds did remedy the issue, they didn't actually address what was causing the issue and often came with unpleasant side effects that required yet another medication. I'm so thankful that I have finally found a place that approaches health with a wholistic view, devises a personalized plan to TREAT ailments rather than slap a band aid on them, and provides the necessary knowledge and tools to empower their patients to take ownership of their life by improving their health and wellness.

Negative experience: What was once a valued & necessary service has become a factory for profit & terrible service model. Be very careful of what you’re prescribed. Terrible communication & patient support service. The demands put on the care team are unrealistic.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Mara since the beginning of the year. I first came to Yoo Direct Health because I was struggling to lose weight on my own, and I just didn’t feel very good overall. With Mara’s help, the use of peptides and supplements, and exercise, I have lost 45 pounds so far! What makes the practice even better is that I feel like they are not just there to help me reach a certain weight, but they want it to be done in a healthy way, which has really made a difference in how I feel overall. I had asked my Galderma Rep to guide me in the direction of someone who could show me good techniques for injecting. I wanted to be confident in my procedural and assessment skills. Fantastic experience: Have your symptoms been explained away as depression, anxiety or stress? Walked out of a physician’s office with a prescription instead of answers? Doctor refused your lab request? Root cause analysis is complicated but does not need to be made worse when your efforts to advocate for your health are refused. I found YDH after searching for answers that traditional medicine couldn’t find. Thousands of dollars spent on testing, MRIs, vestibular therapy, lumbar puncture, and so many vials of blood with no answers, no root cause, no one interested in helping me, and a feeling of ungratefulness and hopelessness. About the practice: They keep their scope tight. You won’t find primary care here, but the areas they do focus on, well, they are damn near experts. Peptides , hormone replacement, thyroid, aesthetics, weight loss, micronutrients. If you need a PCP, they can provide recommendations to an organization that balances traditional medicine and functional medicine. The staff: Lexi has two masters degrees, indulges in learning, is upbeat, easy to talk to and simply loves what she does and sharing her knowledge. Haley wants you to feel your best, she has a calming personality, is open to hearing how you’d like your treatment to go and actively listens. She actually asked me what labs I wanted to run! Carmen takes the time to explain what will work best for your skin and goals. She took extra time with me to help build a skin care routine, exceeding my expectations. Stacy is just awesome and knowledgeable. Skyler is hilarious to text with about appointments. The office: Hours are limited and they are closed on Wednesdays. They do have some Saturdays available but those can be hard to get. Not impossible though. Appointments can be flexible. There are plans for a larger office, so this may change in the future. There is a stupid long waitlist - so if you’re considering it, jump on the list and decide after your first two appointments. The wait is worth it. The cost: Ok, I won’t lie to you and say this is inexpensive because it’s not. BUT, it is entirely reasonable. $125 annual access fee and YDH is upfront and transparent with individual treatment costs. They don’t accept insurance. If you have an HSA or FSA, the office can provide you with a letter of medical necessity. The savings on unnecessary tests with other providers exceeds YDH costs. Overall: I feel like I’ve received more answers in four months than I did over two years of searching. My energy level is up, gut is healing, thyroid is being balanced. I feel heard, empowered, and understood. I still have a long way to go, but at least now I feel like I’m on the right path.

Fantastic experience: Yoo Direct Health has made my HRT easier to manage through the use of pellets. I had a total hysterectomy many years ago and my GYN placed me on an estrogen patch. I was still not feeling well with the patch. I went to Hailey. She was able to explain to me how the pellets work and she could better balance my hormones by using estrogen and testosterone pellets. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again! I love my pellets!
