Fantastic experience: WINNING! I've tried every diet and workout plan on the planet and always came up short, couldn't stick to it, and always saw temporary results. I signed up for Slade PT's year of change and I'm seeing results and can confirm I'm on my way to a healthier me. The workouts are guided and easy to follow, the nutrition plan is easy to follow and understand. I've already surpassed most of my goals along the way and Can't wait to see where I am at the end of the year. NOTE: This is a "semi private" gym, with a coach. Meaning you'll sign up for a session with no more 6 total people with a coach in each session. This allows for 1:1 assistance by the coach and a fun small group of support / challengers. The images posted are my 90 Day results. Loving my results. The hardest part is showing up.

Fantastic experience: I’m super pumped about the results that I’ve been seeing over the past two months. My goal is to put on more weight and gain muscle. Slade has the perfect cadence for me to follow, from workouts to diet plans. Coach Randy is super knowledgeable and helpful and gives good feedback. He checks on me on and off-site and makes sure that I’m on the right track. Whether you’re trying to lose or gain muscles, Slade is the perfect place for you. Enrolling was easy, and they have all the plans laid out for you that are challenging yet achievable. All you have to do is go in, trust the process, and put in the work.

Fantastic experience: This has been a great experience. 4 weeks in and I am losing weight, gaining confidence and getting stronger. Justin and Randy have been great to work with and bring fun to tough work outs.
Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Slade. It was advertised that you got 6 weeks of personal training for free so that is what drew me in. I met with Tyson and he explained their mission and it sounded great. Little did I know, i would be charged $515 the very next day. I was told that it would be personal training but when I show up for my time, there were 6 other people there. It is hard for a trainer to “personal train” 6-8 people at the same time. Our trainer Justin was very good and I have only good things to say about him. I gave Slade a shot for 4 months and ultimately decided that it was just not for me. When I decided to cancel, I had to have a meeting with the whole team and tell them what I was not happy about and then at the end they told me that I would have to pay $983 to cancel. That was never explained to me at our initial meeting and is something that everyone should know before signing up with them. They also advertise kickboxing and self defense. In the 4 months I was there, I never learned a thing about self defense. The only kick boxing we did was 3 rounds of punching a bag for 1 minute probably 5 times in the 4 months I was there. I just want people to be informed of what they are getting themselves into because I have never been to a gym where I had to pay $983 to cancel my membership.
Thank you for leaving us a review over your experience. As to the six week free it was free and deducted from the program you signed up for which was explained in the consultation upon sign up. We are a coaching program with one on one coaching but the sessions are semi private with no more than six people in a session. We appreciate you telling us what you weren't happy with in the sessions and we addressed those issues and they have been fixed, but you decided you wanted to cancel, stating that there were also other obligations that are taking your time away from being able to make it into the studio regularly. Those other obligations in return also lead to missing many sessions that were primarily kick boxing. We are not a commercial gym, we are a private training facility that focuses on body transformations and the required aspects of the coaching that go along with that, far exceeding just working out in a gym. Our cancelation policy is clearly stated in our agreement and is signed and agreed upon before starting our extensive coaching program.
Fantastic experience: If you want to reach the next level in fitness or if you’re just starting on your fitness journey, Slade is the place!!! The personalized care and encouragement is awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: Staff is AWESOME! I started 2 months ago! Blaine and Justin both have been engaged, and supportive of my goals! My overall health has/is improving! Blaine and Justin are both supportive when it comes down to fitness and nutrition. My anxiety, depression, hypertension are improving and I am now on less medication. Fantastic experience: I joined Slade a few months ago and have had great results. They have a great team of coaches that are always there to help you from nutrition to your workouts. With the small group setting you’re still getting the one on one training.
Fantastic experience: I love Slade Fitness. They make exercising easy and fun. They plan everything out for a balanced workout. I don't have to worry about what to do next. They push you to improve, without risk of injury. They help you with planning meals and keeping active throughout the week. Slade fills the hole I didn't know I had. Well worth the time and money.
Fantastic experience: The coaches at slade are very caring and really want help you improve yourself. They help your day go positive mentality and physical. Push you to reach your goal. I joined bc I need structure and some push me to my limit. Blaine will do that. Love him. He will give correct your form if it wrong. Justin is sweetest and encouraging. They have different approach but both are great. It is small group of people and the people that goes are sweet too. No judgement in level of athletic ability. Try it out. Better than go gym with a lot equipments and bunch of people who are sometime rude.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Slade fitness for all people pursuing healthy weight loss. I have personally lost almost 20 ponds in 5 months, without feeling fatigue and gaining muscle mass. Instructors are really great ,engaging and give attention. They keep the accountability towards ones goal and follow through constantly.

Fantastic experience: Trainers are great to work with and classes are challenging, however not so much so that you are unable to complete or sore the next day. It's been ten weeks since I started and I've noticed phenomenal gains. If anyone is on the fence about signing up, I would definitely recommend that you join! you won't regret it.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Slade Personal Training! I began my journey with Slade approximately 6 months ago. Being 50 years old, I wasn’t sure what changes I could accomplish. Depression, anxiety and overall life stresses had left me overweight, in pain, and lacking energy and strength. What has Slade done for me? In as little as 6 months, I have lost over 40 pounds, no longer have daily joint pain, and have stopped relying on medication to treat my depression and anxiety! I have gained muscle strength I thought I would never get back! I was not able to do a single, full body push up when I started! Today, I can do 15+ full body push ups and counting-I am super proud of this! Tydon and Blaine have been supportive and encouraging along my journey. I owe my transformation to Coach Justin who has been phenomenal in every way! He is encouraging, knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to the success of his clients! Slade has definitely found a gem with Justin. Slade Personal Training is an investment in your health you will never regret! Negative experience: I met Tydon at the gathering on main in Owasso and was looking for a temporary kind of training. He only offered some kind of boot camp thing and it’s not really what I wanted. I told him I was not interested and he argued with me for like 20 minutes trying to guilt me into using slade as a trainer. He would not stop. He only stopped when a client/worker just happen to walk into the office. After I finally left, I got 3+ phone calls from him then I finally blocked him. Then my mom got numerous calls from him. She had to block him too. A year later there is a new number and he is texting me again. I blocked him again. I have never seen a company so desperate for clients.
Hey Mikaela, I’m not sure I remember meeting you exactly. We don’t offer bootcamp style workouts and I don’t argue with anyone. If you did come in to meet with me and told me how important it was for your health that you make a change, it would be unethical for me to not try my best to help you make a decision to change. I’m sure I did my best to help you get started. You may have came in for an appointment, but I’m sorry you weren’t able to experience our services.
Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful time at my first workout . The guys here really Rock ! Coach Justin was encouraging, instructional and helpful. He was Great! And Tydon was such a sweetheart. Positive experience: The workouts themselves and support you get from trainers was awesome. I really did like the group environment succeeding together. But there were some things that really left a bad taste in my mouth. When i signed up tydon and i discussed the sat session being 9 am. He asked if i could go later and i told him no since i do have other things already fixed on saturdays. He said it would be fine and sat sessions would be 9 am. My trainer mentioned one week maybe switching to 9:45 which i advised i cant do. Then the last 2 saturdays of my 6 week program were at 9:45 so i couldnt join. Very unprofessional to not hold up their end of what was promised. The other thing was the shady sales tactics. I advised tydon i wanted to go home and think about it before signing up and that i didnt feel comfortable comitting to that much financially without looking into things first (since he wouldnt advise costs over phone and forced me to come in). He had a complete disregard for what i said and kept pushing. I felt really uncomfortable and taken advantage of as it felt i couldnt leave unless i caved and signed up. Overall i enjoyed the workouts but really would expect more from what youre paying for. Edit- Appreciated they reached out to try and make it right so i gave them another star.
Hey Cassandra, Not sure what happen with the Saturday session times because as long as you told your coach what you needed doing a 9 AM shouldn’t have been a problem at all. We can definitely make up those sessions up for you. I’m sorry you felt that way about our initial meeting. I know you have been wanting to make the change for a long time and that last thing I wanted was finances to keeping you from starting so was trying to see what we could make it work for you I apologize if it I came off that way. Fantastic experience: This experience so far has been amazing. Even though I am only 4 weeks in of my long journey ahead I have lost 8% body fat and gained 15 pounds of muscle. To be honest before starting Slade I was researching everything to help me lose weight and get in better shape. However nothing was helping. Nothing on the internet was clear. Now starting my new life changing journey with Slade I feel so much better, I am already down a shirt size and down a pant size as well. I highly recommend this place if you want to start your journey to a new you. Oh and if you want the best results get a trainer called Justin he has helped me so much.

Fantastic experience: Loving Slade’s atmosphere and all they offer with their personal training programs! The staff are inviting and all the people are welcoming. Able to see progress as I go, they work with my schedule, and are there to assist me in becoming a healthier me! The trainers are knowledgeable and able to teach me better form with my workouts. I also love the nutrition aspect in that the healthy meals taste good, are easy to follow, and are things I actually want to make.

Fantastic experience: Tydon was great, his team got me close to the results I was looking for. I was concerned about lifting weights due to old back injuries but all the trainers there worked with me. Their method is simple and effective. I didn’t have much faith after trying to lose weight anfter my experiences working out on my own, with outside personal trainers, and using online programs. But I followed their directions and saw amazing results. My main complaint is that they would incorporate more kickboxing, I was there for three months and never made it to the kicking stage.
We absolutely loved working with you and congrats on crushing the goals we set out to accomplish. Sorry we didn’t get the chance to do more kickboxing with our time together maybe in the future! Thank you so much for the review:)
Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere! When I signed up for the challenge, I sat down with Tydon and we talked about my goals, expectations and the program overall. Now I went in thinking it would be a sales pitch, but this went way deeper, it let me know that they are committed to getting results. On top of the the workouts are great! Everyone is friendly and status check calls are great to let you know your no on your own! If your looking for a personal trainer and want results....you have found the right place!

Positive experience: I have struggled to find the right balance of motivation and pushing myself when it comes to fitness. Slade has a lot of potential. I enjoyed my time there. Communication was challenging. Trainer turnover was an opportunity. When you overcome those, every thing works. Tydon is super knowledgeable and hyper-motivated.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the 6 week program. The numbers do the talking! In 3 weeks I lost 11 lbs and 3% body fat. The coaches put a lot of care into the fitness routines and nutrition plan fashioned specifically towards your goals. I like that I can also message them any time of day through their app if I have any questions. They respond in a timely manner. As a results driven person I can say that I’m happy!

Fantastic experience: I’m 42 and completely out of shape and needed to lose some weight. I started the 6 week body transformation 2 weeks ago. I haven’t missed any sessions and am following the diet provided. I’ve lost 11 lbs and 3% of my body fat. I enjoy the training sessions and the people I’m training with. Fantastic experience: Slade Personal Training is fantastic! Very professional as well as being helpful in correcting form during a workout. Fantastic experience: I am so happy with my wellness journey so far! I have been shown what proper nutrition looks like and feels like. My workouts (4days a week) have been superb! I have been with Slade personal training about 7 weeks and feel stronger and have so much more energy! My trainer, Blaine, has helped me lose 10lbs and 3% body fat in 2 months! He's an Awesome trainer who challenges me with each workout. I am getting stronger and gaining so much more confidence. The nutrition guide they offer is helpful too. Tydon, has also worked with me the first two weeks that I started training and he's Awesome trainer as well!

Fantastic experience: NO REGRETS!!!! I dislike exercise, always have, and come up with every excuse not to do it. I don't like gym membership, everytime, that money has gone to waste. Im intimidated in big crowd, boot camp style workouts and end up trying to compete instead of work on personal goals, this has led to failure for me and again, wasted money. First and foremost, I never felt pressured to join. No guilt trips, no gimmicks, just education and physiological based knowledge made me say "why not". So, commitment was my huge first step and I feared failure. I feared the new way of eating and didnt think I could do that either. Its been a daily learning process and I love the way I feel just 5 short weeks in, 15 pounds lighter and fitting into clothes I was about to toss. The support I've received from Blaine has been amazing and I actually look forward to our workout sessions and have not missed yet! My husband and I do couples sessions and it's been great! Building muscle and building on 25 years of marriage at the same time! Everything is tailored to our individual needs with respect to our 50 year old bodies, aches and pains. There have been a few exercises that I said I couldn't do....4 weeks in, Im doing them, successfully! Blaine has been available for all of our nutrition questions and helping with proper form while catering to personal goals. Absolutely zero regrets! Fantastic experience: This was my first time ever seeking professional training and advice, I was nervous and skeptical at first, but Tydon and the rest of the SLADE fitness team do there very best to make sure everyone feels welcome and gets the results they want and need, it’s a combined effort between you and the slade team, but they will stop at nothing to make sure you achieve your wildest dreams, because no dream is to wild to come true, for me pro kickboxing.

Fantastic experience: This A very caring group of people who can truly get you the results you want. They're work out system is completely different than other gyms around town and I believe it is hands down the best. Unlike some others I have seen they are really completely invested in getting you to levels you never even imagined you could reach. Also while your there getting stronger the kick boxing and self defense is super fun and a different type of cardio that is un matched. They will answer calls or texts to help you out even after you stop going.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Slade has been pretty good! It did take some time for me to commit due to past fitness/personal training experience. My wife was the one that started to go to Slade and seeing her experience, I decided to give it a shot. Overall, I have been having back issues for a few years now and Tydon has been really good with helping me to continue working out. He has also helped to make sure I don’t injure my back. Prior to training, I planned on asking my back doctor to give me shots on my back and after a couple weeks of training and meeting the doctor, the pain has significantly reduced and we decided not to do the shots. Overall, great start and good to have a trainer that you can trust!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Blake 4 weeks and I'm down 10 lbs (8 lbs of body fat) and 2" off my waist. I am diabetic and was able to come off 1 of my shots and my anxiety meds so far. Blake knows the goals I have and pushes me to achieve them. Between the personal training, kickboxing for the cardio, and the nutritional guidance, I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my fitness journey. I actually LOVE coming to the gym!

Fantastic experience: I am almost done with my first 6 weeks and I have already seen amazing results. I had bought a dress for an event before starting training. I ended up having to buy a new one a size smaller because I lost 7lbs. I came in with a goal to be under a certain body fat percentage and I have already met my goal!

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Slade Personal Training in February four days a week. I was with another trainer and wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. I was only able to get to that trainer once a month and had to do the rest on my own. I was on a very strict diet as well. once I started coming to Slade, I saw the results. My first month I lost four pounds. I’ve always loved heavy lifting and compound workouts which is something I didn’t do at my old trainer. I’m able to eat the things I love and not feel like I’m going to lose progress if I eat more than 1500 calories a day. I absolutely love my trainer Piper. I make her come at 5:15 in the morning to work with my schedule and she is always in a great mood, even though we’re both tired! She makes coming enjoyable and they’re always flexible with my schedule. Piper is so sweet and always encourages and pushes me to my best. I am happy to be able to call her a friend and I am always excited to come workout and look forward to it each day. I highly recommended this gym and the people in are great!

Fantastic experience: As a mid-thirties female, I was gaining weight and at a loss as too why. I would exercise (running/spin) and follow a low calorie diet for months, with zero results. What worked for me in my 20’s no longer worked and after years of frustration, low self esteem, and lots of tears, I knew I needed to start strength training. Since I despise lifting weights, I knew I would need a trainer to push me and hold me accountable. I did not want to train at a large gym with lots of people and a chaotic environment. Luckily, I found Slade; the location, gym, and atmosphere aligned with all that I was hoping for. I’ve been training at Slade four days a week for approximately 2.5 months. It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. My trainer, Piper, has been a true blessing! She puts up with my constant complaining and provides me with the right combination of push and encouragement. Piper has helped me tremendously with my diet and provided me with meal ideas that work with my vegetarian lifestyle. I’ve had the best experience and can’t imagine training anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I started personal training because I needed someone to guide me and keep me accountable after years of little to no activity due to illness. I started from scratch muscle and strengthwise and one month in I feel significantly stronger with more mobility and less pain. I'm training with Piper and it's clear that the trainers at Slade listen to you! She is pushing me every single day while understanding my pains and limitations and addressing my weaknesses. I'm feeling the results, both physically and mentally. I've lost inches while gaining strength and I'm eager to keep going and see how my time with Slade evolves. Fantastic experience: After multiple injuries (bad back, knees), and many failed attempts to stay consistent, I decided to check out Slade. I’m so happy I did. A few months in, and I’ve lost over 10lbs, gained muscle, learned more about nutrition. I have momentum now! Best part is the team works around weakness and injury to provide a completely custom workout regiment that has helped me rid myself of all aches and pains.
