Fantastic experience: I went in with a stiff neck, feeling unable to move or do much at all. In one day I had an acupuncture session with Dr Andrew, chiropractor session Dr Jason and a massage with Carole. The whole team are incredible, and they work collectively to best understand needs/ learnings from prior sessions and what works for the patient. Fantastic experience: The Massage Therapist Carole Altina is one gifted masseuse. I am 65 years old. Since seeing her monthly my legs no longer cramp and my upper back has no pain. I suggested my 89 year old mother see her for pain in her knees, and Carol has fixed that as well. Several of my friends also go to Carol now. Hey, we all want to be able to move and be active!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a massage therapist and was referred to Carole Altina at Personalized Chiropractic through a friend who'd been going to Carole for years. I was immediately put at ease with her professionalism, but more importantly her warmth. She was flexible with my schedule and I was comfortable from the moment I arrived. She took time to understand my areas of concern and offered some REALLY helpful add-ons (like cupping which was awesome) to help me with my healing goals. You can tell she looks at massage therapy, not about just working out stress knots or addressing the immediate pain, but with a holistic approach. She works with me on stress reduction, emotional wellness (and it's relationship to physical wellness), even nutrition, and does some work with me during our sessions surrounding stress, trauma healing, and emotional wellness. Fantastic experience: After very successful chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Jason, he referred me to Dr. Ashley for acupuncture. I complied, even though I was hesitant. I have had acupuncture treatments for pain in my lower back and sciatica, due to herniated discs from running. Previous treatments did not help and I eventually had a laminectomy. However, I did some research on Dr. Ashley and felt very confident that she would be highly qualified to help me. And I was correct! After the first treatment, my condition was slightly better, and I received some other interesting benefits. I immediately had better focus and vision. I also have a little more energy. But, the most interesting result is something that I didn’t really know affected me. For many years, I had some sinus congestion at night while sleeping. I chalked it up living near the beach, since sometimes the condition would go away while on vacation. Well, after the first treatment, the congestion was gone. But, even more interesting was the fact that I must have had some minor congestion during the day, because now I can breath so much better! I had my second treatment today with more small improvements, so I cannot complement Dr. Ashley enough for her knowledge and expertise. Fantastic experience: I went in for a chiropractic appointment but after a consultation, Dr. Jason Nummi felt acupuncture would be more appropriate. He listened to my concerns and explained why he thought acupuncture was needed prior to any chiropractic work. I had never had acupuncture but Dr. Andrew Keating explained everything about the process. I walked out of the office feeling amazing. The following day, my lower back pain was nearly gone. Fantastic experience: Okay…so Dr. Ryan is a chiro G-E-N-I-U-S!! I’ve had multiple chiros in the last few years. But I have never had instant results where I feel like a renewed, younger bodied woman. You HAVE TO TRY THE Y STRAP!!! Game changer!!! I feel the changes everywhere…including my jaw. I drive sometimes over an hour. Parking is awesome, super flexible scheduling (within reason), caring physician, fantastic customer service, takes insurance (and will advocate for you if they give pushback), welcoming and relaxing environment. Plus, it’s close to the beach and great food (so I make a half day of office beach days out of my 1 hour trips here).

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Ryan for years now. I was needing a good chiropractor here in San Diego, and found him online. He has helped my spinal stenosis symptoms, and also alleviated a lot of other issues I was having related to my jaw, and other alignment issues. It is always easy to make an appointment, change appointment times, and cancel appointments. He always answers questions thoroughly, and caters the adjustment to what you feel comfortable with. Great experience, I would recommend in a second.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Curda is the BEST. I came to him after having severe, chronic back pain post-partum. I couldn’t sit for longer than 10 minutes at a time and I couldn’t drive. I also couldn’t pick-up my son, which was very disheartening for me. He was very gentle and understanding! After about a week and a half, I was moving a lot better (vs. the 4 months I spent at PT where I had very little change). I am forever thankful for his services. He has an excellent bedside manner and handle of his field. I also had no problem getting appointments that worked for me, and he allowed me to bring my son to my appointments. Personalized has a different to chiropractic adjustments than any other chiropractor I've been to before. Fantastic experience: Until 6 days ago, I had never been to a Chiropractor. I'm a stubborn type, who generally puts up with way more body pain than I should, but after a fall, I experienced the worst lower back pain of my life and decided to see Dr Curda while in SD for a week. After 3 visits, I've gone from barely being able to walk, and being able to visibly notice being off alignment by looking in the mirror, to feeling an immense amount of relief, and I can now see my alignment is back on track. I specifically wanted to go to a place that would do X-rays, because I genuinely felt I needed one, and was advised it was not necessary. Dr Curda could have very easily ran the X-rays and made some extra $$, but assured me it was not needed. There are plenty of valid reasons as to why this office is so highly reviewed. Honest pricing, expertise, and excellent customer service being among those. Anytime I am in town, I will make it a point to visit this office. Make the call, you will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from about a month lower back pain due to being over-zealous with lifting moving boxes, practicing handstands, and playing tug of war with my dog. Dr. Ryan provided an overall assessment and package of adjustments that worked perfectly to get me back in shape. Fantastic experience: At the risk of sounding cliche, Dr. Curda is, by far, the best chiropractor I have ever been to. Recently, I had been having a reoccurring pinched nerve in my neck that just wouldn't go away. I visited a few other chiropractors about the issue but, after each of those visits, the problem persisted. I have visited Dr. Curda only twice and my pinched nerve is completely gone. What's even more astonishing is that the pain and mobility issues I was having from the injury were 90% gone after just one visit. After my second visit, I'm back to 100%. Fantastic experience: RYAN IS THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I'VE EVER HAD!!! In addition to a few compression fractures in my middle & lower back, I had a C5-C7 Cervical Fusion that NO other chiropractor would touch. Ryan has adjusted my neck to the point where I can completely turn my head from side to side which I haven't been able to do since 2011.

Fantastic experience: I am deathly afraid of having my neck aligned. Freaks me out every time. Due to an accident my husband and I needed some work to heal our bodies. We found Dr . Curda For a couple of reasons. He was close, he is in Pacific Beach and we live in Point Loma, and he had great reviews. I started out nervously but Dr Curda asked all the questions he needed to give a safe alignment. In the short time I have spent in his office I have grown 1/2 inch. My husband is 6ft 4 inches. He mentioned he can see over the shower better which I interpreted that he too has gained height also. I would recommend seeing this extremely nice Doctor if you have any pain. Don’t chalk it up to getting older because chiropractic work really heals. Oh and on a side note the place always smells amazing and my 3 year old love the toys. Fantastic experience: I cannot say more good things about this office. I have been to this office for almost two years and Ryan helped me to recover from sciatica and I am completely healthy now. I traumatized my lower back and cannot walk for six months before I visit Ryan. Pain-killer, nerve soother, heat/cold pad, PT, acupuncture, etc, nothing worked on me and I was almost desperate. I visited Ryan and he was confident that I can see significant recovering progress in less than 10 visits and each visit is only 5 min. The stinging feel on the back of legs alleviated after 6 visits and the soreness on the back decreased by 80% after 10 visits. Ryan also guided me for different exercises at home and I did get full recovery after 22 visits. Ryan was friendly and patient in discussion. The staff were also nice to deal with. Highly recommended for anyone with lower back pain to come here and give a try. The only downside is that the schedule is tight and scheduling an app is not easy.

Fantastic experience: I was in the San Diego for a half marathon in April, I unfortunately woke up the Saturday before all congested and felt like I had an elephant sitting on my chest. In addition, the Thursday before against my better judgement I went to a chain chiropractic clinic, and the doc over adjusted my ankle and made my ankle sore and it hurt to walk. Dr. Ryan met me in his clinic on Saturday before the race, I honestly do not think I would have enjoyed my run as much as I did, had he not helped me. I am a Chiropractor myself and I can tell you that every time I am in the area I am going to make it a point to see Dr Ryan. He gave me one of the best adjustments I have ever had and as I was walking out of the clinic my sinuses began to drain and I could already breath better. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan and his staff are very good. I started seeing him after and accident in October 2017. He has helped me a lot to get back to my normal self. I was in pain before and night was even difficult to sleep. He cares about his patients and wants to makes sure that they are ok. Always gives great advice. Very friendly. Pleasant environment. Fantastic experience: I had been to a chiropractor nearly 8 years ago when I was younger to help me with a stiff neck and back. I finally started having some upper left back issues again recently near my shoulder blade which was generating some pain in my neck every time I would turn my head. Needless to say, I was incredibly skeptical about going to another chiropractor after doing my research (there are a lot of skeptics out there - but for good reason), however I'm happy to say I went with Personalized Chiropractic because I've seen great results. The first two sessions were a little difficult as my body wasn't used to being adjusted. It just so happened I left feeling a little bit worse than I originally came in. I consulted with Ryan the next day and he assisted me with performing some specialized stretches and pressure point relaxation methods which helped alleviate my pain almost immediately. Overall, I feel the stretches and massage techniques were likely the most beneficial part of the sessions. I bought a wellness package of 12 visits for a reasonable price (insurance covered much of it) and sure enough, 8 visits later and my neck pain is completely gone and my back/neck is overall more relaxed and I'm less tense. Ryan really knows what he is doing and he's a SUPER chill guy! He really takes the time to explain the whole procedure and process to you along the way. The only negative I found was that the wellness package started out with a frequency of 3 times a week for the first two weeks which I would not recommend. My back is feeling a bit better having some extra days in between to relax - however, I can't complain with these results, so I'd suggest doing what you feel is right for your body based on Ryan's consultation.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Dr. Ryan Curda and his team! I came to see Dr. Curda in Dec. 2016 with nerve pain that ran out my left hip and down the outside of my leg to my knee. As someone who had been doing competitive bodybuilding for just over 2 yrs, I had reached a point where the pain no longer allowed me to do any sort of weight lifting without suffering shooting pain out of my hip (especially at night). Dr. Curda listened carefully to my story and asked thoughtful questions about what had been going on and also did a thorough examination (including an x-ray of my back). Within just a few sessions, I was feeling much better and the pain was decreasing significantly! For someone who was originally scared of chiropractors, I have become a believer! Every time I get adjusted, my body seems to relax and open up and I am to the point now (roughly two months later) that I am almost pain free and back in the gym! On top of that, I simply enjoy coming to their office as everyone is very welcoming - it's like visiting old friends. So thankful I found Dr. Curda and his team!

Fantastic experience: I was rear ended back in 2007 and found this chiropractor on yelp in 2011. Went weekly then every other week then every month for 2 years straight. I took a year off because I felt great but I am back again for tune ups as needed. It really helps me get through any flare ups with my back. Ryan and his staff are awesome and a pleasure. I always look forward to going and knowing how great I will feel after my adjustments.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan is a saving grace! I am 11 weeks pregnant and WAS having severe migraines. Dr. Ryan took his time with me and not only adjusted my neck but did some soft tissue work as well! I am so happy to have found him! Staff is extremely friendly and parking is a breeze!
