Fantastic experience: I had a sever disc extrusion/herniation that one doctor was telling me I needed surgery for right away and another saying it may heal without it but it was up to me. I found myself at Rising Sun because of an ad my husband saw for their Spinal Decompression table. That combined with some laser therapy and regular visits with Dr. Seth I am now pain free, back to my normal mobility and lifting weights again only 6 months post injury. And best of all no expensive painful surgery that may or may not have helped. He's a great listener, explains what and why things are happening, and in my experience you couldn't do better. Fantastic experience: While moving, my back began to complain. It complained enough that I needed help. Dr Seth Nelson at Rising Sun was able to see me quickly. After exam, he explained what was going on and was able to reassure me it was fixable! My visits were always pleasant and helpful. I will return if I have further problems.

Fantastic experience: I have used Rising Sun for my animals with great results for years, but had always used a relative as my chiro. Nothing was getting better and in fact it was getting worse. I was doing countless confusing stretches and exercises religiously but the pains in my back and neck were waking me at night and inhibiting much of my activity during the day. I lead an active life with horses and a farm so this was a problem. I have been seeing Dr Seth for about five weeks, after a detailed investigation into my condition we set about treatment and a strict exercise plan of three stretches, discarding the “alphabet soup” of everything else I had been doing. Five weeks later I am sleeping soundly, able to run again and my back feel more stable than it has for years. The weird part? Some of the exercises set are completely in conflict with what I had been told by countless other professionals but for the first time in forever things are changing. I feel better and there is tangible progress.

I have had several injuries that could have resulted in surgery but with prescribed care, muscle therapy, KT Tap and the laser work done, I feel 100 %. Fantastic experience: After 10 months of chronic pain, I saw an ad on FB for Rising Sun advertising laser treatment for pain. I decided to try it since nothing else had worked. At my first visit Dr. Seth went over my medical history in depth and took the time to understand my situation. It was obvious he really cared and wanted to help me. Gina, who my laser treatments was very friendly and professional. After 2 treatments I got some relief. 2 more treatments and my was not completely gone but there was a noticeable difference! I then had an appointment with Dr. Seth, he didn’t assume I needed an adjustment but instead gave me some stretching exercises and after just a few reps I had more pain relief than ever before. At my return appointment we talked about how the exercises helped and then made some adjustments to my routine. It will still take some time to retrain my brain and body to adjust to not being in pain but with follow up care I am finally on my way to living a “normal” life without chronic pain. A light at the end of the tunnel, finally! I couldn’t be happier, I really thought I would have to be in pain the rest of my life. All the staff are friendly and helpful! Fantastic experience: In awe of how well my first four treatments have gone with Dr. Seth and his team. I have had 5 years of severe lower back pain after an injury and general wear and tear. Negative experience: Can't call clients back for 2.5 weeks. Where is your staff? We left countless voicemails and messages through Facebook. The only response: "what do you need?" Hello!? We are calling a chiropractic office for chiro work. What the heck do you think clients are calling you for? Then, more silence came. And to say that my vet recommended you, is a slap in the face. Don't waste your time sitting around thinking this guy is a professional.

I'm not just a $ sign to him which was the feeling I got with other chiropractors. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Nelson by a friend of the family while visiting Minnesota for a few weeks over the summer from the Evergreen State of Washington. I have been seeing a chiropractor for a couple of years for my back. The first observation I made when I met Dr.Nelson was a man of great compassion and care. He took the time to find out about me- my health, stressors, eating habits, etc. all the while explaining how many of these things can have an effect on the body. Then came the exam. He was gentle, thorough and actually explained to me why he was using muscle resistance to help understand where my weak areas were located. I was stunned! I had never received services from a chiropractor that educated me, along with fixing my back! I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Nelson began by taking a big picture look at the problems and then came up with a holistic response plan that he detailed with me that not only included adjustments but also exercises, stretches and diet recommendations to help resolve the issue. He examined me and suggested specific exercises for me, besides doing some adjustments on my back. He also said it would be a good idea to get massage therapy. Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my Border Collie, Marti to Seth for a few years now. He's been awesome with my Agility Partner and keeps her running well. This last year I started having trouble with pain in my left hip when I would sit or sleep. Pain was getting so bad that my hip would wake me every couple of hours at night and it would hurt terribly to move, but I had to. I took Marti to a session with Seth and started talking to him about my hip and he started giving me views that I hadn't heard from ANY of the Doctor's I was seeing about my hip pain. Took my a while, but I recently started seeing Dr. Seth and after just 4 sessions my hip pain has been greatly reduced and other smaller pains I was ignoring have gone away. I've NEVER had such an extensive review of my spine and complaints. Seth wants to treat the whole person and get you WELL. He helps with nutrition and exercise. He's been amazing and just the fit I have been looking for for a VERY long time.

Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing horrible pain in my lower back. It would cause me to wake after a few hours of sleep every night. This became the norm for me as I had given up hope of returning to a normal sleep pattern after over a year of struggle. I was referred to Dr. Nelson by a colleague and after a few sessions I was on track to getting regular sleep. With care, adjustments and stretches I can now sleep a regular eight hours without interruption. Dr. Nelson and the exception staff at Rising Sun are literally the reason I can sleep at night.
