Fantastic experience: I have had chronic pain in my foot for over a year and a half. I have seen multiple doctors and specialists who have done tests and prescribed medicine that never helped. After only a few sessions of acupuncture with Dr. Laska I have seen so much improvement. It’s the only thing that has truly helped my condition. She is so kind and calming. I would recommend her if you are looking for a good acupuncture experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rollman is amazing with my whole family. She adjusted me 7 day old. Will be coming here forever. Also, my baby was breech when I was pregnant, Dr Rollman helped my body open up so she wasn't breech and I didn't need a cesarian.

Positive experience: I really really wanted to recommend here to all my girl friends but I have gave them to many chances. First their location wasn't even open at all during my first visit. No apologies no nothing. Didn't come back. Second time was a good time was with Dr.Parrot. No complains about her she did apologize. Was very helpful and comforting. Third appointment they told me the doctor left and that the place is closed. Even though they scheduled me for 12:00. So I lost a day of work and time was wasted. Fine mistakes happen. Fourth Appointment scheduled at 11:00 and got her early so I can be attended as soon as I can. People arrived after me and they went in first with Dr. Hansen. I wanted to leave but I already paid for the appointment. She was also helpful and apologized she was just running behind. I will update again because I do really like this place I just feel conflicted

Fantastic experience: Hurt my back by being dumb. They were able to get me in on a Tuesday at 545 and I was walking better almost immediately. The most gentle and kind chiropractor I have ever seen

Negative experience: Don’t like it any more bad service

Negative experience: I would advise no one to support this business. Not only is chiropractic work a pseudoscience at the best of times, but this business will ALSO lie to you about billing. My wife came here as a last resort to try to flip a breech baby. She was told that she was paying the entire bill up front because insurance wouldn’t cover it, but by giving them your insurance card they can send it to them so it will at least contribute to your deductible. Months after the appointment they send another bill stating insurance didn’t cover everything so you owe more. There are multiple other reviewers sharing similar stories. Don’t support this scam business. Despicable practice.

Negative experience: Gone down hill. Used to come frequently but my original dr left. Really disappointed with the unprofessional staff after i tried to make new appts at the other location (i went to Papillion which is closed now). Receptionists not informative and rude. Also last time i called to make appt (12:50pm) they told me they were getting ready to close soon so they wouldn’t schedule an appt and I’d have to call back another day. I just said okay thanks and hung up, but it’s been a consistent inconvenience dealing with this place now.

Negative experience: Not great. 1st visit was good, 2nd visit waited for 40 minutes past my appointment time and asked the reception desk what was going on and was told they were behind. Just not very acceptable to communicate so poorly IMO.

Fantastic experience: Kaylie Price is seriously the best massage therapist I've ever been to. I selfishly didn't write a review before because I was afraid if I told everyone how amazing she is then I would have a harder time getting in for an appointment. I jokingly tried to get her to move to my new state because she is that good. I hated to lose her as a health provider. Her massages are relaxing, but she also tailors each massage to troublesome areas. Her NRT therapy is great! I was never disappointed with any massages. Carrie Powell was my doula for my first pregnancy. She was fantastic! She has the perfect amount of pep and has a great personality. I really felt cared for. My first delivery went smoothly. Carrie would hold a cool wash cloth on my head, fetch a vomit bag, hold pressure points, etc. She was attentive. If you are on the fence about a doula you won't regret hiring Carrie. I was so disappointed when my husband's job had us relocating in the middle of my second pregnancy. I tried to convince him to let us stay in Omaha until delivery just so I could have Carrie and my other health care providers there for support. Kelly Djernes, physical therapist, was helpful in reducing pelvic pain after childbirth. I wish I would have used her more, especially before/during pregnancy to possibly help prevent complications after birth. She is knowledgeable and friendly. As for the chiropractors, I'm not really impressed. I tried a couple of different providers when I moved to Omaha in 2014. They use that activator clicking thing and I just don't see a benefit at all. It seems hokey to me. I prefer chiropractors that "pop and crack" to adjust you.

Fantastic experience: I have been experiencing severe back pain for about four years. I went thru back surgery and after he recommended physical therapy after six months I saw no improvement. I spoke with my surgeon and he suggested I try chiropractic. I was fortunate to find Dr. Hansen, after a few treatments she suggested I might try the laser system and I got to say It is like out of Star Trek she just ran it over my skin and after a few treatment my pain in my thumbs from carpel tunnel was gone. With that success we tried it on my back and I have not had the sharp back pain ever since.thank you Dr Hansen and your miracle machine. You are both the best

Fantastic experience: I see Dr. Matthes. She is one of the top three chiropractors I've seen in omaha! Her, Brian Stevens with Benson Chiropractic and Cory Powers. Because of insurance reasons, I've had to switch over the years but these three are top of the line in keeping me functioning, as i have serious spine problems.

Fantastic experience: Love this place for both chiropractic manipulation and the massages. Great chiropractors they're very friendly and knowledgeable. They treat my grandchildren, my sons family and myself. The front staff is super friendly and helpful which has improved, for the better, since my first few visits a couple yrs ago. This location and the Papillion location are great! Definitely will be back soon when I come to visit Omaha again!

Fantastic experience: I recently went to Essentials to get a massage and I was extremely happy with the message I received! Amber Foote was my massage therapist and she did an amazing job! I have some back and shoulder issues and she was able to work out so many knots that I felt amazing after I was done. I would highly recommend Essentials if you are looking for pain relief through chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping or message. The staff is really nice and the staff do amazing work! If you are looking for an AMAZING message, ask for Amber Foote!

Fantastic experience: The staff is all very friendly and very safety conscious. They all had masks on and everything was sanitized after each use as it should be, but it seemed like our staff member went over and above standard cleaning. I've been here several times and I bring my daughter and six year old grandson. They are very gentle with children but get the job done. Great job ladies.

Fantastic experience: Essentials is amazing!! Super friendly staff and I love Dr Sarah for chiropractic care. She adjusted me all throughout my pregnancy and my daughter and I still see her regularly. I have also been in for massage and induction acupuncture. I love this place and can always get in when I need to be seen! They have so many resources for pregnant and postpartum women. I took the birth and breastfeeding classes here and Carrie Powell was my doula for my recent pregnancy. Doulas at Essentials are amazing-- would highly recommend Carrie!

Fantastic experience: Acupuncture is amazing had migraines for too many years started seeing Dr.Hansen about 3 years ago & my migraines are gone rarely get one. I started going every 2 wks now once a month. I feel so relaxed when I go & the staff members are very kind & friendly. Even to get a 1hr massage makes u relax. I currently get adjusted during pregnancy as they specialize in it. My chiropractor Dr. Mick, who I highly recommend, even gives me special exercises to do at home!! Fantastic experience: I have been going to this wonderful place since 2016 (or so) and I have absolutely loved each and every interaction and treatment I received over the years from several doctors here ranging from chiropractic adjustments to massages. The staff and doctors are not only amazingly kind women but also excellent practitioners of natural medicines. Currently, I see both Dr. Wegener and Dr. Sarah. Each has their own style or treatment which I find combined to be extremely helpful and beneficial for my body and lifestyle. If you are looking for an affordable, welcoming, and healing atmosphere... saying “I highly recommend this place” alone does not seem to be enough because whatever is beyond “highly recommended” is exactly what this place and the doctors who work here should be referred to as!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my first two sessions of hypnotherapy with Trina Ware and I could not be happier with my experience and am excited to complete my 5 sessions. I went in seeking assistance with smoking. After my first session I have not picked up a cigarette and have not even had an urge. I was a heavy smoker for 24 years and I never thought this was possible. These sessions have helped me with so much more than just smoking as well and I would recommend this process to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my experience with Essentials. I started going for adjustments when I was having lower back pain during my third trimester of pregnancy. Fantastic experience: This is the perfect place to go for everything natural! Chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, relaxation. Everyone is friendly from the girls at the front desk to the massage therapists to the chiropractor. I would recommend going here for all your natural needs and relaxation! Myself and my boyfriend are both seen in this office and my 7 month old has been getting adjusted since the day he was born by doctors in this office.

Negative experience: As previously mentioned in other reviews, they charge you a catastrophic amount if you have insurance. They also sneak in hidden charges and hope you won’t notice. I really think they are committing insurance fraud. The chiropractors are in and out in 5 minutes without really tailoring the care to the patient. Won’t be back.

Negative experience: My friend told me to go here when I had a migraine so I tried it. The migraine was not helped and then I owed a bunch of money after I left. They had me pay up front after calling my insurance to see what they covered. I paid $40 the day of the visit. I then got another bill in the mail for $70 after my insurance paid them $40. They charged me $70 for just walking in the door my insurance said. They said they will do this when you have insurance because then you have to pay more. My friend said it's cheaper to call and tell them you don't have insurance because you won't be charged as much. They are very dishonest and I would not recommend anyone going here. I cannot believe I got charged almost $200 for one adjustment. This has never happened at any place I have gone to before. Go somewhere else and save yourself some money.

Fantastic experience: Essentials Physical Therapy has saved my life! I have been working with Kelly who finally found the problem that has caused me so much pain over the last few years. Doctors could not figure out what was going on and I thought I was CRAZY! I had no idea that my pelvic floor muscle tightness could have caused so many problems. Kelly is very down to earth and willing to listen to concerns. She has worked with me in meeting the goals I have set for myself. I am now back to daily activities including walking and running. I am so excited to continue making progress and getting back to the lifestyle that I enjoy.

Fantastic experience: I've heard all kinds of awesome things about this place and finally found the time to try it out for myself. I spontaneously decided to treat myself to a massage on my birthday, and called about a same day appointment. They were able to get me in, and the check in process was really easy. My masseuse was phenomenal, really listened to what it was I needed, and tailored my experience to fit those needs - I've had massage experiences where I tell them what I need and they give me the same massage they give everyone regardless of what we talked about. This was not the case here, and I couldn't be happier. Catie did a wonderful job, was easy to talk to, made the experience fun, and made me feel really comfortable. I can't wait to go back!

Negative experience: After reading reviews I chose this place for chiropractic needs. I went in with severe lower back and hip pain. After the first adjustment I felt off still I could move but I was off not much longer it went back to being severe. I couldn't sit up straight and I felt as if my hips were totally off. After a large amount of money taken from me and little to nothing done except saying I needed more visits and a massage. I decided to go back for one more visit and before I left the office, I said I'm still in a lot of pain and she just stared at me and said I needed stretched. Well I went home and that night was in more pain than I had gone in with. My husband said enough find someone else and I went to the Chiropratic Health Clinic, where in one visit and no charge Dr. Andrea fixed the problem. I could've cried at the instant relief I felt. She said my hips were rotated and I was off a half an inch. So people be warned if you have actual chiropractic problems DO NOT go here. If you're looking for a more soft adjustment to just maintain wellness

Negative experience: I started going here for Chiropractic visits- knowing my insurance, I had verified how much I would be charged per visit- $40. This was always paid the same day of service. Months later I received a bill in the mail- they had charged me an extra $77+ per visit due to "extra" exercises done in the office. I am not sure what those are since these were typical visits and this was never relayed to me in any way. I was told the reason I received a bill so much later was due to them not submitting to my insurance in a timely manner. Too many issues with billing so I stopped going here.

Fantastic experience: Love them! I started going for prenatal chiropractic care and massages. Now that my baby is 6 months, I still go and I bring my baby and husband with me! We highly recommend to all our friends and families.

Fantastic experience: They closed their Pacific location and opened their new location only a couple of blocks away on West center and 87th. I have seen multiple DC's, multiple massage therapists, and Physical therapists and had nothing but a great experience. Their new office is fantastic, larger, more flexible, and they added a yoga studio which is very convenient. Reading previous reviews of expense and plan is simply wrong. If you are a patient it is also your responsibility to ask about future plan and visits. If you're going to choose an office with all the options you need to get healthy then this is the office you need.

Positive experience: I have a 9 month old son who I take there. His chiropractor explained everything she was doing and talked me through every little movement she had him do. We ended up going for severe ear infections. No big results yet, but there have been a few improvements on his mood and tange of motion. Definitely worth going again. They have very friendly staff who help with questions and are more than happy to see you. Its a very energetic and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Amy Skolaut has helped me with several tendon issues due to running. She is very knowledgeable and explains in layman terms what the problem is. She works with me to heal my injuries and gives me alternatives that allow me to continue to achieving my fitness goals and maintain my endurance levels. I highly recommend Amy to anyone needing a physical therapist!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I found this place! A family member recommended Dr. Hansen to me and I cannot imagine going anywhere else! She has helped me with my neck and back pain, anxiety and more. I have gone other places for chiropractic care, but this is the first place where I feel comfortable and where I actually trust my chiropractor and feel that she listens to me and really cares. The staff is always so kind, and there is always some sort of infused water and different teas to help relax. I have also had massages by a few of the ladies there and was well taken care of each time. I plan on going back to see Nicole again for a relaxation massage.

Fantastic experience: I was in need of a physical therapist to help ease the pain of a degenerative disc. I loved the location as it was near to my work and allowed me to visit over my lunch hour. I worked for three weeks with Amy Skolaut (PT) and twice with her assistant, Dana. I wasn't sure if the PT was going to help me, but I can say that with each visit and treatment, my pain lessened and Amy gave me exercises to do at home to keep my back in the best shape possible. Amy also assured me that I could contact her anytime if I felt the need for further treatment. Essentials is a wonderful clinic and I would recommend it to anyone seeking help.

Fantastic experience: Amy Skolaut is outstanding as a Physical Therapist. She taught me lots of stretching positions to relieve low back and hip pain. And, lots of strengthening exercises for a shoulder that was in enough pain it was difficult to work. I enjoyed working with her and all the staff at Essentials. Very friendly staff and a clean, great-smelling facility. If I need surgery in the future, I'll be sure to return.

Fantastic experience: I have known Amy since October 2007. After having neck surgery and two major back surgeries within the pass seven years, Amy has been my Physical Therapist just a month or so after the surgeries. She has helped me learn how to deal with the recovery from surgery through exercise and therapeutic treatment which she explains in detail. Amy helped me learn how to walk correctly again and she is always there when you need her not to mention the staff of Essential is very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Superb work by chiropractors as well as massage therapists. Dr. Katie Dischler has many skills including acupuncture and applied kinesiology. Great staff, good location and fabulous hours. A super friendly and easy going office. Love referring people to this group!
