Negative experience: I had the absolute worst experience with this place and I’m still going through it. Ever since the previous Dr hasn’t been there along with some of the staff things have changed. I just recently found out that I’m being charged for a membership that 1 I didn’t know that I was doing that and 2 I only went once!! I had no idea I was signing up for a monthly membership charging me 200 a month! I didn’t get anything to read or a copy of what i signed. I was told that I was paying for that day. Only to get $600 worth of charges for services not received!! Not I’m going back and forth with my bank! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO SIT IN A ROOM WHILE SOMEONE TELLS YOU A BUNCH OF LIES AMD SHOVE SOMETHING IN YOUR FACE TO SIGN WITHOUT ACTUALLY TELLING YOU WHAT IT IS!! And trying to get someone on the phone is next to impossible! I don’t like to be mislead by anyone especially about my money!! Don’t go here find you somewhere that don’t practice like this. Somewhere that will be up front and makes sure you understand. And did I mention that I only went once but was charged 3 times! Before the previous Dr passed away they had a good name now it no longer does. My next step if this is not resolved will to seek legal help this is awful to treat people like this. Their number one goal is money definitely not helping people. Again I say DONT DO IT!! Be very careful if you do!!

Negative experience: I s read many reviews here about nobody answering the phone. It took me 2 days to get through. When I finally spoke to someone, I told her I wanted to schedule a consultation. She asked me for my name and number and someone would call me to schedule it. For some reason I guess she can’t. Two days later nobody has called me. This is a red flag for me. I can’t imagine getting on a plan with them and knowing I can’t get ahold of them if I need something.

Negative experience: I called earlier this morning, and the receptionist was about as rude as they come. I asked if this was the Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center and she kept stating another name. I asked several times and she kept repeating the same thing over and over, very unprofessional! I was simply trying to find out if I had the correct place that I saw online which I am guessing is under a different name. I own a business of over 200 clients and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! If the receptionist is this bad, I don't even want to think of what the people who would be caring for me is like. Horrible......

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to the Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center. I have tried every diet there is and haven’t had much luck so I decided to try a different approach withTWLC. I was not kept waiting for long and met Josey who was very helpful. She listened, explained, and answered my questions. She provided me with a lot of information and left me feeling very hopeful that this time I will succeed with my goals. Not once did I feel judged in any way for my shortcomings in my previous weight loss attempts. I look forward to continuing my weight loss journey with her.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best experience I have ever had with a doctors office/clinic! I felt seen and heard and they listened to me about all of my concerns. Provided me with multiple packets of information, and also did not try to “push” anything on me! They helped me from the moment i walked in the door. They also sent me in a direction for a new general practitioner as well! 100% would recommend to any and every one!

Negative experience: You are definitely going to wait... even with appointments... every time! Zero guidance on a weight loss plan... just appetite suppresses.... no actual help in anything. Rediculous.

Negative experience: I waited over 45 minutes every time I was in there with an appointment already made in advance every time. The white guy that's the doctor there or whatever he is, is so rude and very uncomforting. Other than him the staff was nice but they were all eating and goofing off and not taking anything seriously when I had to go back to work and couldn't wait any longer both times. The first question they asked me on my 2nd visit was if i had paid for my blood work from the first visit...I was like nobody has told me about what's going on with my bloodwork yet so why would i pay yet?? Then they needed more blood work because I guess the first time they didn't have enough?!?! Its been 3 weeks and I still haven't heard from them about my blood work. So unprofessional. They better not bill me because I'm not paying for blood work when they never told me what was going on with it or me. They also gave me some type of placebo weightloss pills that literally made me more hungry. Waste of money. Really regret going here. I ended up going back to oxford primary care and weight loss even though I have moved and its a long drive, better than dealing with this place. There are better places to go to I promise.

Negative experience: First appointment 9/28 they are running 1.5 hours late by 930am. It took a total of over 4 hours to get blood drawn and an ekg. (5 minutes total time) Second appointment I scheduled the first appointment available (830am) when they open. By 915am finally got seen and was told it would be another hour before I could see the doctor. Customer service and patient weight times are ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I've been struggling with my weight off and on (especially since having children)! For the first time, I feel more confident since coming here! All my questions and/or fears were answered and I wasn't rushed or pressured into committing to ANYTHING! I'm so glad that I've chosen Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center, I have all the energy and confidence a lady can ask for!

Once I arrived at the clinic each person I came in contact went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: In eight months I lost 95 pounds. It was a lot easier than I thought. I have tried several diets over the years, primarily Atkins. Usually I would lose some weight but either give up or it would stop working. Under this plan you receive a daily pill to help curb you appetite and it really works. Also, you receive a weekly shot to help reduce fat and increase energy. The people you work with in the clinic are always very friendly and supportive. Another thing I like about the weekly visits you do not have the long waits like you do at some clinics. If you truly want to lose weight I do not believe you can find a better plan than Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center. Also, the charges are very reasonable for what they provide.
