Fantastic experience: The PT who Healthflex sent after my shoulder surgery, Jessica Bailey, has been a huge help in my recovery. Helping me figure out ways to sleep with a huge sling on my arm, exercises to keep my legs strong while I’m less active, encouragement about how far I’ve come when I get frustrated with my progress, and more. A lovely presence in my life with her supportive attitude and knowledgeable skills. Grateful I’ve had her every week since the surgery.

I’ve had Jim. the physical therapist, on and off for a year and he is amazing. I’ve had a few nurses, right now I’m seeing Megan and she’s kind and professional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my care. I feel very lucky to be under the care of HealthFlex

Fantastic experience: The inter-professional team worked so well together to make sure my father received the care that he needed after being hospitalized twice in a few weeks for having a stroke and pneumonia. They saw the potential in him to return to his prior level of function and didn’t write him off (like some other health professionals) just because he is in his late 90s. Thank you for the excellent nursing care Kristin and Ish, and rehab team care, Celeste and Stella!

Fantastic experience: This is agency is a good one. The nurse came on the same day we sent an urgent message. The OT has been great and didn’t give up on Mom (even though she’s mostly bed bound at this point). They at least can do some stretching and other muscle stimulation activities. Good communication with scheduling visits.

Fantastic experience: HealthFlex has great Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech therapists. They came after my 104 year old father-in-law got home from the hospital and have taken great care of him.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate home flex so much. After my dad’s hospital stay, they sent a nurse, physical and occupational therapy, and someone to help with showers. They called every day to update appt times. They were very respectful and kind to both of us, and very competent in their respective jobs. If he needed supplies, they ordered them. They made sure he was independent enough to take care of himself. Thanks to all for their help .

They have kept up with follow up whenever the get a call notice especially when power is shutoff here due to our bathroom construction.They have been very conscientious about also asking if any help is needed whenever they call and that is much appreciated. I am very satisfied with the service.

Fantastic experience: After my 99 yr old Mother fell twice within 2 days we had to get her help. She slightly injured her back. She has bad arthritis on her knee and just falls when the pain gets to her. The nurses and OT have come and checked her out when her Dr put in the recommendations. They spent time with my family and my mom to see what she needed to make the house more safe for her. The nurse advised us that certain medications need to be taken at certain times. We were never advised from her doctors or never said on the pill container. They are very helpful and respectful to my mom and asks her questions on how she feels and what they can do to help her. The OT Frank is just the best with her. We are so happy to have Health Flex expert health care workers come to our house and help us out for these couple of weeks. Sorry this will all end soon.

Fantastic experience: The Healthflex therapists who have helped my husband with his speech, movement, and daily activities have been very good. Jack has Parkinson’s and broke his hip in July. The team taught him exercises and worked with him so he would be more confident in venturing out. Besides my husband I have had Healthflex physical therapists for my balance issues. All of them have helped me with exercises. I practice them to strengthen my core and legs. Recently I have fallen a couple of times which sets me back, but I continue to exercise. I have good things to say about Healthflex.

In the past few weeks that she has worked with me to help bring back my energy and healing after lower back surgery, I have personally experienced the following qualities in Kathleen as a teacher of Occupational Therapy: a superb listener, detailed, supportive and caring explainer who makes the exercises being taught understandable and manageable. Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with HealthFlex Home & Hospice. Before leaving the hospital after my surgery, I asked for a physical therapist and occupational therapist to visit me at home in my post operation phase. Kyle was my PT. He listened to me and provided me with the necessary tools to meet me where I was, especially in the early weeks of my operation recovery. He made me feel confident in the achieving physical recovery. He also was very good at explaining why certain exercises were necessary to do at each point in time and what they helped strengthen. Kathleen Chen was my OP. She was referred to me by Kyle, actually. We really meshed well. Kathleen helped me survive my home (with a toddler!); in the last 5 weeks, I’ve gained so much confidence in how to do simple but important things around my home (shower, reaching for dishes, getting in and out of bed, walking the many stairs and opening the doors). I could not be where I am now physically and mentally in my recovery if it weren’t for Kathleen. She is a good listener and always has a good tip on how to do something differently if the first way wasn’t working for me.

Fantastic experience: Our physical therapist Kyle was great with my mom. Very patient and knowledgeable with my mom. Very very patient and understanding to our needs.

Fantastic experience: Have had nothing but a great experience so far with Health Flex. Great communication and quick turn around time with the RN staff and RTs. Was able to discuss urgent matters such as follow ups and resupplies especially during a time where it’s difficult to get a human on the other end of the phone instead of a machine. Would like to specifically commend Folake RN, Sheila RT, Thuy NP in terms of their text communication, bed side manner and care! Thuy has been coordinating with Folake and us in regards to wound care and have significantly improved the pressure wound. Would also commend Kaye and Katherine! Great team

Fantastic experience: Kathleen Chen, occupational therapist from Healthflex, was excellent. I’ve met many OTs and PTs but she gave suggestions and advice that no one else had provided. She spent time assessing my needs and allowed me to test different products to find out if they’d be helpful for me, before I bought them. I’d recommend her highly.

Fantastic experience: I found my home health aide very able. He came to me after surgery. My goal was to improve my walking and leg strength. We started out with easy exercises and increased over time to working with machines. I was able to walk two flights of stairs easily by the end of our work together. He was very supportive and easy to get along with.

Fantastic experience: My PT called me before his visit and set up a convenient time for us to work on getting me stronger so I can get back to my life as I knew it before my hip replacement surgery. Kyle was great!

Fantastic experience: My Dad’s home care nurse Natalia is the best! She’s compassionate and she knows what she’s doing. This is the 2nd time we had her. I actually requested her and when she called to set up a time to come check on my dad, I was so happy. My whole family is very fond of her. She’s very nice and she treated my dad as if her father.

I would only wish that some of the Dr,s. were as efficient as Your Nursers are. Please "do not ever change the way that They operate. I only wish that I could give You more than 5 stars as You all deserve it.
