Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago, I fell down the stairs and sprained my wrist pretty badly. I haven’t been able to do regular workouts like Pilates or even simple movements like opening the door or drawers at home… I came to see Matt , and after one session where we did a lot of massages and special movements and exercises for my wrists , the pain and discomfort has significantly gone away. I couldn’t believe after one session with Matt that I’m getting the confidence to do regular movements with my wrist again Before seeing Matt, I had tried Ordering a few different braces and compression bands with splints on Amazon. Nothing helped as much as 1 session with him. I just did a follow up session now and I’ll probably do a few more even though my wrist is almost close to back to normal. It’s been super effective working with Matt and I’m so grateful for the help. I felt so debilitated before . Physical therapy is a must ! I can’t believe I waited so long to come here .

Fantastic experience: Anika's work Is great. I'm a lifelong athlete and also a kid at heart, so I always get injured. Throughout my life I played basketball, swam, kayaked, modern pentathlon, raced SUPs, and now mountain bike and wing foil. I also work out regularly at the gym to support all the activities. I got injured a few years back landing a motorcycle jump and my hamstring got pulled. I was never able to go back to running or sprinting after that, until I met Anika. We have been working together for a few months and not only is my injury now recovered, but my overall training regime, athleticism, and strength is at a level better than ever. I would highly recommend it and have in fact recommended it to a few friends.

Fantastic experience: For some time, I’ve been struggling with sciatic nerve pain. So, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Fernand Titus at ASR Sports Medicine, Miami Beach. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Matt Feder and ASR. I came to their practice a year into recovering from a broken neck and the resulting fusion surgery (occipital to C3). My prior PT with a different practitioner brought some progress towards increased mobility, improved posture, and lessening of stiffness, but Matt took me to a different level. He had an entirely different approach to my rehab, focused on a myriad of different stretching and strengthening exercises that really pushed me during out sessions. He was always prepared and there was not a lost second during the sessions; he worked me constantly! Matt was patient, an excellent communicator in explaining what we were working on, and easily privoted when needed. The 6 weeks I saw him were immensely helpful to both my physical and psychic well being. I came away able to do many of my desired activities - tennis, biking, etc with greater flexibility and lessening pain. I now feel like I have the tools to continue progressing and maintaining any new gains.

Fantastic experience: It was the first time I have been to ASR. I am a previous Physical Therapist and being with Dr Feder I could tell by the questions he asked that he was knowledgeable about my specific issue. We chatted about my symptoms and we got right to work. He gave me some functional exercises that hopefully will aid in keeping my symptoms at bay. I appreciated his thoroughness and detail. I also love that his clinic is set up more as a gym than a traditional PT office. There were several very athletic and fit people there which was a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I’m a fitness enthusiast and recently started working on my bar muscle ups that I haven’t done in years. Due to over training , I developed tennis elbow in my left arm. I met Dr. Anika Arevalo during The 1st Annual Miami Beach Wellness weekend while she was volunteering. Dr. Arevalo gave me an exam, than I scheduled an appointment with ASR; the facility is amazing , organized and clean. Dr. Arevalo explained that dry needling will help the healing process with specialized exercises focusing on the areas causing pain , with over a decade of experience in Dry needling and even more as an Physical Therapist I knew I was in great hands! Throughout the treatment Dr. Arevalo kept me comfortable with conversation and also gave detailed information about what exactly was being done in my treatment which was painless. Fantastic experience: I'm having such an amazing experience seeing my physical therapist Matt Feder. I have been dealing with chronic lower back and leg pain for years. It got to an unbearable point which is when I found Matt and began my treatments with him which were seriously Gamechangers for my pain!!! Upon entering and/or exiting, you receive salutations from all the PT's, creating a warm professional environment that is infectious. Fantastic experience: We went to Dr Feder because my Mom of 86 needed therapy to help her walk again after a fall. On our first visit, I decided to also take a few body toning classes and I have to say , I did not regret this decision. My Mom is able to walk much better now because the program strengthened her muscles and she is extremely happy. I also was able to strengthen and tone my body with the different exercises Dr Feder planned and feel good. Dr Feder is excellent !! He took the time to listen and create a program to help my Mom and myself. He is patient, funny, professional, knows when to push you a bit harder to achieve your goals and knows when to slow down. The gym is clean, has a variety of equipment, fresh air (not stuffy and warm) , large mirrors and some music. I would highly recommend Dr Feder !!

Fantastic experience: I found ASR after suffering a neck injury and I was in so much pain, I could barely turn my head. I’ve since worked with Matt and Anika weekly and they provide such individualized treatment and are so supportive, I’m really grateful for them helping me through the acute phase and beyond as I now work through my underlying neck issues. Together they have tag teamed on helping me strengthen my neck and back muscles, and have so many modalities to offer pain relief with massages, stretching, adjustments and my favs cupping and needling, it’s honestly like a work out and a spa sesh wrapped in one! I’m from the uk and was solo travelling the states last week, i googled physios in Miami and ASR was at the top of the list (no surprise there) Having suffered chronic neck pain for a while I was losing heart with physios But two sessions with Matt the absolute magician and my neck pain has lessened massively! In the two sessions Matt dug deep to find the causes and after diagnosing what the issue could be set to work in releasing it whilst giving me a structured re hab plan to become pain free Matt even dropped me a text a week after our session to check up on me even though I’m over 4000kms away! I haven’t had that experience in any other physio in the uk, And I live here?! I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! Fantastic experience: I've been going to ASR for about a year and my PT is Dr Anika who is awesome in every way. Amongst other injuries, I had one emergency fall on my bike and she was with me every step of the way. I was scared but felt cared for. She had a specific plan of recovery for each session, always punctual and kind. Now because of her, I don't need surgery. She is a true guru in what she does, a natural and I really trust her. Drs Eric and Matt are great are really great too. There's a great atmosphere of healing at ASR so I really like going.

Fantastic experience: I was traveling through Miami for a few days and thought I had potentially re-torn my ACL after hearing a pop, my knee buckling and not being able to straighten my leg. I called Matt at ASR to see if they could do some basic ligament tests as my pain was a 5/6 out of 10 and I had the aforementioned concerning symptoms. Matt was able to accommodate my visit and quickly was able to run some tests and reassure me that my ligaments were fine. We went through a deep tissue massage and a few strengthening exercises and I left with a 0/1 out of 10 pain. Coming in I couldn't even stand straight and after an hour with ASR I chose to walk 20 minutes home. Great experience overall and highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to ASR Physical Therapy for several weeks and the staff are the most professional and caring group of physical therapists I’ve ever worked with. When I hobbled into their office, I could barely walk due to severe lower back pain that had been worsening over several years. With their help, I am now able to walk, run, and exercise better than I have in years. And, most importantly, all while avoiding surgeries and medicines which was a seemingly inevitable path. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: My son came out of a boot after healing from broken foot and could not walk/balance at all without crutches. Matt worked with him every day for a week to get him ready for camp and we could not believe that he was actually walking unassisted by the end of the week! Fantastic experience: I make my living as an athlete and over my career I've worked with countless PTs and specialists.. Dr. Alexander far exceeds the competition. Injuries that have plagued me for years are finally being manages through a more holistic approach. I love how the ASR symptom is to address the "why". Why did I get injured? Where are my imbalances or areas of weakness? Where are my biomechanics functioning improperly. These are all the questions I've finally had answered and addressed with a road map to recovery. Fantastic experience: I began at ASR due to long term lower back issues. I had tried everything imaginable and nothing worked. I had finally had enough after throwing out my back in 2023 again. I first scheduled a consultation with Eric to assess what was wrong. So happy that I gave ASR a chance. It has changed my life. Fantastic experience: Dr. Matt is the BEST! I broke my leg and had never had PT before. Healing was a long process; He knew exactly what to do every step of the way. Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr. Feder for an old injury that would creep up every time I worked out. These shooting pains in my wrists were incomprehensible to me but Dr. Feder was able to diagnose the issue which stemmed in part from the old injury but also from my shoulders mobility and ever since I’ve been able to lift heavier weights with no pain. Overall, I now understand the important of treating any kind of injury no matter how small we may think it is because it may be a small sign from your body of a greater issue. Thank you Dr. Feder !

Positive experience: I visited ASR for my first appointment for nerve damage and muscle loss related to a disc issue. After some initial confusion upon entering I was provided what seemed like adequate care. However at one point one of the needles felt like it struck a nerve which had me almost jumpy off the table. The practitioner denied this was possible and suggested I would have to tolerate this pain to get better. Which I was willing to try a 2nd time. However, I no longer got replies from Eric for follow up appointments and was left not knowing why. I feel he abandoned my recovery and that my situation was not important to this practitioner. I am dissatisfied and disappointed by this and feel it is unprofessional for someone in the medical/oh ilusivas therapy field. Proper care can make the difference between permanent or long term damage and a recovery back to normal life. If choosing this location be aware they can abandon your care for whatever their reasons with no explanation.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend! I have been to many PTs though the years and these are the best. I was very skeptical that my neck injury could be solved through PT. I worked with Eric for 6 weeks, using his different techniques and exercises, and I am so excited to say that I've recovered! Real results that have had a huge impact on my quality of life -- And I know how to prevent it from re-injuring given his coaching. Anika is fantastic as well! As with all PT, you have to put in the work, but working with high quality pros makes a dramatic difference.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Anika is a fantastic Physical Therapist. She is professional and very knowledgeable. After 6 weeks of therapy my hip flexor pain has resolved and I’m back to running without pain. ASR facility is clean, neat and they have the Alter G treadmill.

Fantastic experience: I came to ASR at the beginning of February after being hit by a car and breaking my a leg . Walking was challenging and a cane was required to ambulate. ASR is a very special place. Dr Eric and Dr. Anika are remarkable in their ability to create a casual and friendly office while delivering focused and very professional care. The leg injury had exacerbated existing prior leg and foot problems and Dr Anika’s therapy was able to address both the fracture and the other conditions. She was also extremely helpful in providing a range of exercises to perform by myself Five weeks after starting physical therapy at ASR I was able to discard my cane. I have resumed exercising and my other activities with minimal constraints. I credit and thank ASR and Dr Anika for my quick and full recovery

Fantastic experience: The decision factor for me to decide where to start my physical therapy was that the studio seemed small and therefore they would offer a more personalized Therapy vs some of the other much bigger studios. I was right and so happy I choose ASR! Anika is my Therapist and she is very knowledgable and direct! she always asked how you’re doing before each session and if needed will adjust the exercises. Eric her partner is as well great. I can only HIGHLY recommend Anika at ASR.

His approach and technique was highly effective and now I can resume playing tennis without a problem.
