Fantastic experience: One of the best I have been to he makes sure he only adjust what needs to be adjusted. I could go on for days with how he’s helped me when i couldn’t walk and was told to I needed to have surgery. And in 3 visits I was up and moving around. Fantastic experience: Struggled with shoulder and arm pain after a fall. Nothing managed the unbearable pain and numbness until I visited Dr.Pat McLaughlin. After 1 visit pain decreased from a 10/10 to a 4/10. The second visit which was 2 days later gave me significant pain relief 1/10. I also learned valuable posture exercises to prevent further damage. My visit was same day after putting in my information on the website. I couldn’t be more pleased with the kindness, professionalism, and competence!

Fantastic experience: I recently started seeing Dr. Pat McLaughlin for some acute TMJ issues. From my very first visit, I was able to get some serious relief. Dr. Pat also addressed my neck, upper back and sciatic pain that I have had for more years than I can remember. I have had so much relief from the adjustments/treatments he has done for those issues it has been amazing. I haven't moved or slept this pain "free" in so long. I am very grateful for the care Dr. Pat and his staff have provided.

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Laughlin about 10+ years ago when I went with my husband for his back issues. Neither of us had ever been to a chiropractor, so we didn't have any frame of reference. I was so impressed with the attentiveness and care Dr. Mclaughlin had given to my husband. He asked many questions, looked at the wear pattern of his shoes, his gait, etc. I was thoroughly impressed. I had been saying that I needed to go get an adjustment, but life got in the way. I couldn't remember the name of the clinic or the drs name, (No excuse, I know). I had some really bad neck pain and went to a chiro clinic closer to home. I fully expected first-class treatment like my hubby had experienced. Boy, was I wrong! That place had wall-to- wall people. They called me back, the dr. gave me about 7 minutes of pretending to listen to my issues, cracked my neck, putting me on the roller machine for 10 minutes, and then sending me on my way. I was not impressed. As soon as I walked out the door, and I mean as soon as I walked out, the door I was bombarded with text messages asking for a 5 star rating. They continued sending these messages for about a month, then I would get them periodically, and finally, they stopped after a year or two. Last year, I hurt my shoulder. I needed to be seen right away, so I went to a different chiropractor who was even further away. He was ok, but he really couldn't do anything for me because he just dealt with neck and spine issues. Fast forward about a month ago, I had a really bad neck pain that was causing me to take Tylenol every 6-8 hours (I don't take pain meds). I was able to get in with Dr. Mclaughlin the same day. I have not had to take any pain medication since. Dr. Mclaughlin listened and asked questions. He saw that one foot was a tad shorter than the other, which is because of my hip. I didn't realize that one hip was higher than the other one, or even that my spine was crooked. Neither of the other two Dr's ever bothered ask or check my spine. I prefer to go as natural and as non- invasive as possible, as does Dr. Mclaughlin. His whole approach is to go natural. He gives detailed information on the why's and probable causes and physical remedies to fix issues as holistically as possible. If you are looking for "real" help with your physical issues, this is where you will find it. Dr. Mclaughlin spends as much time with his patients as they need. ***Just for reference... I very rarely give any business 5 stars. That's how good this dr is. (I will post pics next time.)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Pat for several years. Never have I worked with a Doctor who cares deeply about bringing restoration to your whole body’s health. Dr. Pat focuses on tackling the root of the issue, and not just treating the symptoms. If you want a Doctor who cares, look no further.

Fantastic experience: I've had chronic neck and shoulder pain with a gnarly knot in my shoulder blade for decades. Too many years with a desk job, bad posture, and sleeping in the fetal position. I should have gone to a chiropractor years ago, but instead I used deep tissue massages, magnesium spray, so many pillows, and different massage guns. After a handful of visits with Pat, I'm feeling progress, less pain, and the gnarly knot is gone. Still have more work to do but, Pat is the man! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McLaughlin is the best chiropractor I have ever used and I highly recommend him. I first went to him back in 2016. I was in a lot of pain and had an MRI and it showed 4 herniated disks. The pain at times was so bad that I thought people passed out before it got that bad. He said that I was a perfect candidate for surgery, but if I stayed with him I could be healed without it. He took the time to explain to me what was out of place, how the adjustments would go, not to expect instant healing, how my muscles needed to relearn how to operate in the right position, etc. I took the non-surgical route. I started feeling better little by little and after 6 - 9 months was pain free. He also provided me with great advice -- small things like wear looser pants, eat better foods, take walks rather than other exercises that can aggravate the problem -- that I feel helped the healing and prevented frequent relapses. Since my condition is chronic, I have seen him from time to time since then for a readjustment. I call him a miracle worker.

Fantastic experience: The best staff, both the doctor & Kim at the front desk! I was suffering from some horrible headaches and called the office to get an appointment set up. They were able to get me in quickly and my headaches have gotten so much better after a few months of appointments. I also previously had some sciatic issues that were able to be resolved at this office! I 100% recommend Dr McLaughlin!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! Dr. McLaughlin resolved my TMG pain in one visit. I call it my Christmas miracle since I saw him in December. And no more teeth grinding at night. My top and bottom front teeth now align perfectly. I credit his use of ultrasound and his magic touch. I have seen Chiro's off and on for 35 years. Only Dr McLaughlin has resolved my TMG problem. Update: I needed another reset about 6 weeks later, and perfection again!

Fantastic experience: Dr Patrick is a healer! Don't bother with other chiros in the area, he is the man to see! I'm pregnant and also have mild scoliosis and my husband has low back pain. We didn't know what Gonstead technique was but had a friend swear by it, and now we understand. He does very gentle but effective adjustments.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for about a year now for mid-back pain along my spine and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. McLaughlin! I went to several medical doctors before him and they put "band-aids" on my problem area (steroids, muscle relaxants) and of course, none of it worked long-term. His approach is more holistic, and he sees and adjusts the body as a whole to best help the healing process. He is extremely knowledgeable about various topics such as digestion, inflammation, stress, and how these things have a major impact on the pain we often experience. They also sell great supplements and lumbar support pillows! Can't recommend enough! Kim is wonderful too!

Fantastic experience: I just started going after wanting to try a new chiropractor. They have great rates. New patient special deal for 55$. Which is more than reasonable. Very knowledgeable and very nice. My only complaint would be that i didn't get cracked head to toe. I would have enjoyed that. But he was treating a specific issue with me and not giving unnecessary care. And after the first visit my back was considerably better. Thank you again for your care. PS. If they try to charge you to park in the rear, don't let them, tell them you are there to see the chiropractor and they will let you park for free.

Fantastic experience: I am completely satisfied with my experience with Dr. McLaughlin at Willoughby Chiropractic. I was in such back pain I could hardly function and after my first visit it was so much improved. Kim is wonderful. It was especially nice to actually have human beings answer the phone and take care of me, instead of leaving a voicemail. Fantastic experience: When I threw my back out in 2022, I could hardly walk or get up and down. Dr. Pat McLaughlin fixed me up in a matter of days where I was back to normal activity. My daughter had a knee injury and he was also able to help recover her knee which I didn’t even know would fall under chiropractic care. Little did I know Dr. Mclaughlin understands the whole body very well and takes time to explain how the body works and the care he provides. Fantastic experience: I have chronic sciatic joint issues and had my worst flare up ever, lasting three weeks. Dr. Pat has taken my excruciating pain down to a very light ache in three visits. Fantastic experience: Having a severe stroke 10 years ago I knew I was running out of options to control my pain. My lower back and neck were the most severe. I was getting all the therapies that my medical teams had to offer including but not limited to *** physical, occupational and speech therapy, electrical stimulation therapy, drugs including opiates, muscle relaxers, sleep aids and surgery. I also see my stroke Dr. every 90 days for ten injections into my right sided arm and leg. yaaaaaay MORE PAIN! Finally I decided to see a Chiropractor as I had nothing to lose, right? I chose Dr. McLaughlin because of of his stellar reviews AND he was in my area. I thought I could high tail it out of there if I chickened out and be close to home. Who we kidding I can barely walk. I will always have to wear a leg brace and walk with a cane for safety due to muscle weakness. And so we began. First thing that impressed me was his willingness to treat people with a handicap. I let DR. McLaughin know that I could not get on his table without assist. He assisted me and began his work on my back and neck. CRUNCH AND RELIEF. I am a thinking I may continue with this. On day three my neck felt fabulous in fact I started to show off and was able to turn my head to from side to side and up and down. WOW!! My back was hanging in there a little bit. I was feeling better and better when I walked. By day 6 my back was 80% better. WOW!!!!!! I know that he is well experienced in Sports Medicine also. I take holistic suppliments he has available. HOLISTIC TEACHING! Kim is the office manager and shows her caring and personable attitude every time you walk in. I now consider her a friend. Fantastic experience: We have had an excellent experience with the staff and care at the Willoughby Chiropractic Center and would highly recommend them! We started coming a little over a month ago after my daughter had been experiencing some pretty serious health issues. She had been to the ER twice, and seen multiple specialists, including neurologists, cardiologists, and a rheumatologist. No one could give us a clear answer to what was going on with our daughter, and they provided little to no treatment plan, outside of going to physical therapy. When we made our first appointment with Dr. Pat, we were desperate. Our daughter was no longer able to walk on her own and was beginning to have difficulty with her upper body function. Dr. Pat spent a good deal of time just listening to her story, talking to her, and caring about her well-being (a much different experience than she had with other specialists). He did some adjustments and started her on some supplements, and she left that appointment happier than I’d seen her in a really long time. We still don’t have clear answers to what’s causing my daughter’s issues, but after multiple appointments with Dr. Pat and sticking to the supplement regiment, she no longer has upper body mobility issues and can walk completely on her own. She still has a long healing journey ahead of her, but the road no longer seems endless!

Fantastic experience: I found an AMAZING Chiropractor and I would highly recommend him. I woke up one morning with excruciating pain in my upper back (behind my shoulder blades). I thought I had a muscle spasm or a pulled muscle. I was not able to reach out with either arm or even wash a dish without horrible pain. I was not able to find a position that I could sleep without throbbing pain and numbness down my arm. After three days of this agonizing pain that was not subsiding, I was going to call my primary doctor and ask for muscle relaxers or something to stop this pain. My husband suggested that I try a Chiropractor because he had success with one many years ago. A friend recommended Dr. Patrick McLaughlin in right in downtown Willoughby because he helped him with some terrible hip pain a few weeks prior to my pain. I have to tell you that I was scared to death to see a Chiropractor but I decided I can’t deal with the pain for another day. I called his office and talked to Kim. She was so incredibly kind and she assured me that it would be best if I saw Dr. McLaughlin right away to get his advice. She fit me in early the next day. Dr. McLaughlin talked to me and really took the time to listen to me voice my concerns and fears. I was in his office for about half hour and I walked out of that office with about 80% of my throbbing pain gone. I was able to sleep through the entire night. He showed me an exercise to do to strengthen my upper back. After my second visit a few days later, I can honestly say my pain was gone. He assured me that I need to continue to strengthen my back, work on my posture and visit him from time to time just to make sure my spine stays healthy. I had an incredible visit with Dr. McLaughlin and I would recommend him 100% if you have any kind of pain. Bernie

He explained everything so well and spent a lot of time with me on my first visit. I am so happy I found a good Chiropractor since I just moved to this side of town. Fantastic experience: A few months I came to his office after 6 years of nonstop lower back pain. It started during my pregnancy and after expensive medical massages 2x a month and many other attempts to help the pain, nothing worked. He took so much time to really investigate and find the cause of the pain. He ordered x rays and determined a chronic condition with my spine. He put me on a treatment plan, slowly reducing the frequency of visits as I made progress. For the first time in 6 years, I don't wake up totally inflamed and in pain....I am so thankful for the time he really took to help me! I would give him 10 stars if that was possible.

Fantastic experience: I went to to see to Dr. Patrick with issues with my lower back, my upper back and neck. Each time he was very understanding and kind about my fears of getting adjusted. (I'd had a bad experience in my 20s that eventually put me into the ER.) In fact, I was honestly terrified, but his very calming manner and talking me through the process helped so much. He focuses on what needs to be done, makes sure you are okay and then does the adjustment. The fact that it is done with such confidence, knowledge and excellent bedside manner helped this overly anxious and hesitant patient. Thank you Dr. Patrick for being patient with me so I could find the courage to getting done what was necessary for my scoliosis and tight neck (causing chronic headaches). I've had 2 hip replacements and a double mastectomy by the age of 44 and therefore was very unsure of going to another doctor. You renewed my faith getting treatment. I'm just regretful it took me so long. Thank you! I will definitely be seeing you again very soon!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely happy I found Dr. McLaughlin through my insurance. I called for an appointment and was seen the same day. I was in a great deal of pain and after 8 visits, I am pain free. The doctor is kind and gentle. I think what I liked the most was that he listened to me and was reassuring that he could help. Fantastic experience: I had a back/side injury at work. Doctor McLaughlin worked with me and I progressed at amazing speed. Originally I couldn't hardly touch the area without screaming out in pain, but I'm happy to say that's since changed. Fantastic experience: Being in my mid twenties and having pain in my right leg when I walked wasn't the best of times. Getting through a day of work was the best I could manage so physical activities were out the window. Prior to my visit to Dr. McLaughlin I had tried physical therapy, acupuncture, and massotherapy. While some of those may have benefited me, my 3rd visit to Dr. McLaughlin is when I noticed the sharp pain my Iliotibial band would have wasn't so bad. This was my last try until I went the route of surgery, which I'm glad I didn't. Highly recommended, hes very knowledgeable and is able to break down the complexities of a situation.

Fantastic experience: Amazing. Went to see Dr. McLaughlin for upper and lower back pain that I’ve had for years along with pain going down my leg constantly. My ribs hurt all the time as well, I was a wreck, everything hurt. After the first visit my back stopped hurting, my ribs no longer hurt. There is still a little pain in my leg but hardly noticeable now. After my third visit I felt like a totally new person.

When my regular chiropractor was away, I was referred to Dr. McLaughlin as my current chiropractor is also a patient here. From my first contact on the telephone their friendliness, sincere concern, and professionalism was noted. Without seeing my x-rays, or having any of my chiropractic notes, Dr. McLaughlin did a brief history and evaluation. With one very successful lumbar adjustment, the radiating pain which I was experiencing was relieved and I felt an immediate significant improvement. Even though, it is over a 40 mile drive for me, I will not hesitate to return for continued chiropractic care.

Fantastic experience: I’m 25 years old and have been struggling with chronic lower back pain for about 10 years. After countless visits to spinal doctors, neurology doctors, and physical therapists I was told “I was too young to have such pain.” Still I was not able to complete daily tasks such as working out, vacuuming, yard work, even bending over, etc. withought feeling immense pain. After a thorough exam, an explanation of what was wrong, and two adjustments with Dr. Patrick McLaughlin I’ve found relief for my lower back pain! Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. McLaughlin after several years of severe low back pain caused in part by an improperly treated injury resulting from a car accident. I was previously advised that pain management or surgery were basically my only options. The pain had gone to the point of absolute misery on a daily basis. When I finally couldn't take it any more I called Dr. McLaughlin's office and made an appointment. They got me in right away and he immediately relieved some of the worst pain through an adjustment. The very next morning, Dr McLaughlin and Kim (front office/assistant) had MRI's scheduled for later in the afternoon, and the results were in same day! My son saw Dr McLaughlin the following day for his appointment, and after his adjustment, he was immediately relieved of his lower back and neck pain!
