Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Lewis and his team because I had pinched nerves and blown discs in my back and neck. I couldn’t move without pain. My lower back was hurting. My right arm felt like pins and needles most of the day. My Dr told me I needed surgery. That I needed discs replaced. I’m a 46 yrs old Electrician and after doing my own research I discovered I have a 30% chance of that my pain would going away with surgery . An even higher percent chance my pain may get worse with surgery. Dr Lewis was the only Person who sat down with me and showed me all the pictures from MRI. All others Drs only showed me the pictures that proved their point. All the equipment Dr Lewis and his team use I’ll admit at first looked like smoke and mirrors. But I was desperate. It’s an extensive therapy but after 5 or so weeks I'm about 90% better. No more back pain or pins and needles in my arm. I’m not finished with my therapy yet but I’m able to do my job as good or even better then before. Dr Lewis , Dr. Tim and the rest of the team are amazing. Even the front desk and the financial people are always laughing and making you feel welcome. On a funny note we measure my son’s height every few months and mark it on our wall. My son said hey dad let’s measure you. After measuring me I was an inch taller. Well not really . Ha ha. Because of my injury my spine was compromised. I’m now I’m back to my original height. Something I didnt even notice, My wife said I thought you were getting taller. (Not something this plan says it will do) Thank you Dr Lewis , Dr Tim and Team. You are the best. You have made a believer out of a skeptic.

Fantastic experience: The Lewis Family is what its name says 'family' and what better place to heal than a place that makes you feel you belong. From the door, you are greeted by the amazing front desk ladies- Ms. Shari and Ms. Ranee. Then Ms. Lisa is another amazing and sweet manager who learned to spell and pronounce my name so quickly. LOL!. Then the chiropractic team from Dr. Greg who did an amazing job studying my MRIs and discovering what other doctors failed to catch and coming up with a plan to fix me, to the kind Dr. Tim who did an amazing job with most of my adjustments, to the two nursing staff, Lynn and Eliza(I hope I got her name correctly, LOL!)who are always cheerful, helpful, caring and attentive to my needs. I was in an auto accident in November 2023 and had been to PTs and seen other doctors who only recommended pills which I'm not a great fan of. I was in pain all through 2024 and kept advocating for myself until I found another pain specialist who recommended chiropractic therapy, which led me here. Dr. Greg studied my imagings and dound the problem that previous doctors missed and he came up with a plan to go through 20sessions of spine meds, traction, beamer, physical therapy, laser treatments and the adjustments. My first adjustment with Dr. Greg was something I had never experienced before and that night, I slept so soundly(something I had not been able to do without meds for 11months). I am thankful to God for leading me to the Lewis Family as I have seen tremendous improvement on my back. I am half-way through my treatment and hope to be completely fixed at the end of it. Negative experience: The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, but the whole process in general felt like a waste of time and money. I originally went in for neck pain. I was sent for an X-Ray and didn’t find anything, but they did notice a little weakness in my right side so I was sent for and MRI of my low back. We found 2 disc locations. Dr. Greg explained the process they go through with disc locations and I was shown multiple videos of prior patients raving about the process. I decided to go through with it even though a large chunk of it is not covered by insurance and I would pay a pretty penny out of pocket. We started the process and it was fine. Each visit was at least an hour at the office, if it not more. It is definitely a time commitment. We made it to halfway through the program and I hadn’t noticed a difference in my back yet, but tried to be patient. We finally made it to the end and we did notice some improvement in the weakness in my right side, but other than that, my back feels no better. I did not feel any relief from what I was experiencing before. While I did not come in with excruciating back pain, I thought I would see some kind of difference. So to say I am disappointed is an understatement. My neck is still an issue which is the original item I went in for. It seems like it was forgotten about. I brought it up at the end evaluation and was sent for more imaging, an MRI of my neck. They didn’t find anything from that and said they could have me do a watered down version of their process which would still cost me another $750. I told them I wasn’t comfortable spending any more money since I never felt any relief in the first round. There wasn’t much else they could offer after that. I felt like I was kind of scammed out of my money for a process that doesn’t work. I don’t think I will ever go back here. I think I am going to drive over an hour to my previous chiropractor that I know will actually help with what I go to them for.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment for herniated discs in my lower back and neck at this chiropractic clinic, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I’ve received. The decompression system they use has been incredibly effective, and the kind, attentive staff truly make a difference. The chiropractors are excellent at listening to my needs and preferences. Since I have difficulty with manual neck adjustments, they’ve been able to help using alternative methods like massage and other devices, which I greatly appreciate. Additionally, the physical therapists here are professional, caring, and highly skilled. They've not only helped me get stronger but also made it possible for me to return to my physically demanding job much sooner than I expected. What makes this clinic even more special is how much it feels like being a part of a family. Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Greg through my son who is a patient. My experience with Dr. Greg was nothing short of a miracle. I arrived on the scene with excruciating hip pain which stemmed from back issues. I was put on a six week treatment plan, and can say that my hip pain is all but non-existent at this point, and the back pain is greatly relieved. The entire staff treated me as if I was the only patient there, always greeted everyone with a cheerful smile, and efficiently and attentively listened to my concerns. As far as I am concerned, this is the preferred practice for anything related to joint pain.... as a matter of fact, I've already referred them to three of my friends. Simply the best!

Fantastic experience: Excellent Healthcare at this facility. Dr. Lewis and Dr. Tim personally coordinate full treatment package for your specific needs. They study your history, examine every X-ray, imaging CT and medications. Very comprehensive and patient specific with your best recovery in mind , more holistic and wellness centered. My 8 week program was tedious but totally changed my health from nerve pain , shingles pain , and extreme fatigue to averaging 12k steps a day while on vacation. Dr. Tim is extremely patient, caring, and will listen to each of your needs. Lynn is also extremely caring , and front staff is very helpful . I would highly recommend this office , and the many modalities not found in other centers. Fantastic experience: I am a 30 year old construction worker who came to Lewis Family Chiro 6 weeks after injuring my back. I was unable to walk straight and was in constant sciatic pain with hip dysfunction. The MRI revealed I had several bulging discs including 2 herniated discs which were impinging on both the S1 and L5 nerve roots. I was not sure if I was able to ever truly heal and feel normal again. My belief was that I would eventually require some kind of terrible spinal surgery. Dr. Greg informed me of the viable treatment routes I could choose from, and interestingly he told me I could be healed without surgical intervention. We agreed to go forward with the treatment plan and I completed a 20 appointment session over 2 months where I received treatment with the Spine Med machine, decompressing my spine. Once I found the sweet spot, I could definitely feel the relief- when I got off the machine the relief was so significant it was as if I had a euphoria or was floating on a cloud. I also had deep tissue laser therapy, the beamer chair for circulation, a very important and effective component- physical therapy & stretching routine, and manual chiropractic adjustments. The staff at Lewis Chiropractic is super nice. Both Dr. Greg and Dr. Tim have a great sense of humor and are trustworthy, upright men. In addition, they are good at what they do. Nowadays, those qualities are rare! Thank you to the nursing staff who catered to me day in and day out. It has now been 3 months approximately since my injury. I am pain free most days. Maybe once in a while I will wake up with some sciatic irritation and then I know I have to do my stretching/strengthening routine which relieves that. Recovery from a life altering disc/nerve injury is an ongoing process with ups and downs and good days and bad days. If you are like me, with an injury like mine, there is a light at the end of the tunnel if you are willing to do everything you are told and fully commit to your recovery. I am a living breathing testament that you can recover from herniated discs which qualify for surgery without surgical intervention. Please ask a staff member to view my MRI photos- if you are in a similar situation, it would be wise to do as I did. Who is to say what kind of miserable condition I could be stuck in today had I not followed through with the treatment plan. Once I became crippled and desperate, all of a sudden it was so easy to do what I was told- I would have stood on my head all day if I thought it could relieve me of that suffering. Nowhere else in Carroll County or anywhere nearby has the combination of treatments available that Lewis Chiro has to offer you- this one is a no-brainer.

Fantastic experience: After a procedure at the local hospital, I experience severe pain issues with my back hips and legs. I couldn't walk with out a cane. After six mo of waiting for it to "GO AWAY" I ask a friend for the name of the chiropractor he used. He suggested Lewis Family Chiropractic. I decided to engaged their services. I cannot say enough good about them. After just one small adjustment I walked out of the office with out my cane. That was Aug of 2023. I continued my scheduled sessions with fantastic results. Fantastic experience: I have just finished my treatment with Lewis Family Chiropractic practice. This is my second time going to Dr. Greg and his team for help. The last time was 18 years ago. Each time I have been treated by a warm and welcoming staff. They are all very friendly and caring from the front desk staff of Alyssa and Shari, to the assistants, Lynne and Kim, and the Chiropractors Dr. Tim and Dr. Greg. Even Lisa, the financial coordinator will come out to see if she can help the staff and have a chat with the patients. The group works well as a team and are very supportive and respectful of each other. The care you receive is multi faceted and addresses many aspects of your care including relaxing the troubled areas, promoting healing with sophisticated technology such as lasers and of course the long standing adjustment of spine. The little things matter such as offering a blanket while you are receiving your relaxing Spinemed treatment. All in all I would recommend Dr. Greg and his wonderful team to help you get back to "normal".

Fantastic experience: Definitely the place to go when you’re in a lot of pain. With in one week of starting my therapy I was able to go home and have no pain if any. Back in day I was in a serious car accident where I ended up with 5 compressed disks in my spine from my neck to my tail bone. At age 50 I decided to go to Lewis family chiropractic do the amount of pain I was having. The new older I got the more pain I was having. I was looking for away to avoid surgery and I must say the Lewis family was definitely the way to go. I feel like I’m almost new!

Fantastic experience: Nothing short of heroic. I severely injured my back days after moving to my new home in Westminster. I was experiencing some of the worst pain I'd ever had. Though I was new to the area, I was not new to Chiropractic Medicine. But there was no way I could tolerate the one hour drive to my old DC in Howard County. Miraculously I found Dr. Lewis' office which was just 5 minutes from my new house and he was able to see me immediately. On day one I had my initial consult, an MRI and began my first treatment. I was incredibly grateful because not only was I in terrible pain, but I had to be a plane for a very important family event the following week. Dr. Greg, Dr. Tim, Lynn and Kim all provided incredibly competent care with a very comforting bedside manner. Alyssa, Shari and Lisa were all super friendly and made the entire process smooth & easy. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend anyone with lower back pain going here for help. When I first went for my initial appointment, the pain in my back was so bad that I could barely sit down. Getting out of the car was a major effort. 8 weeks later, and my back is dramatically better. I have almost no pain left. The other really impressive thing to me about Dr. Greg and their whole office is that it felt like they truly cared. Dr. Greg has a sincerity and passion that comes across about truly wanting you to get better, as opposed to some doctors where it just feels like you're another appointment in their day. I felt like their program for fixing my back was comprehensive, in that it used a wide variety of methods including emphasis on core strength and stretching. And across the 20+ appointments that I had with them, I left each appointment feeling less pain than when I walked in.

Fantastic experience: I have completed therapy two times at Lewis Family Chiropractic. The first time was about 20 years ago for my plantar fasciitis. Dr. Greg’s treatment made my foot feel a lot better and now I do not have that problem like I used to. The second time I have received treatment at Lewis Chiropractic was recently after a back injury led to a pinched nerve. My walking was impeded and I was constantly in pain. This time I have been completing a regimen including laser, adjustments, SpineMed machine, circulation chair, and exercises. When I went to see Dr. Greg for the first time after my injury, I hobbled into the office. Now I am walking much better and experiencing significantly less pain. Negative experience: This man is a fraud. All he did was try to sell me paraphernalia that I didn’t need. He convinced me to go to the radiologist that he uses and not only did they botch the billing but even after I TOLD Them my correct ins info 3 times they still sent to collections! HE sent me a bill for doing absolutely NOTHING TOO! He never touched me ever BUT BILLS ME for consultations that he intentionally dragged on for 3 visits to NO AVAIL! I was totally disgusted by this guy! A TRUE CHARLATAN!! Save yourself the EXTRA pain!

Fantastic experience: I came in desperate for relief from a herniated disk causing horrible sciatic pain and numbness in my leg. I had back surgery already once, and didn't want to do it again. I was skeptical but agreed to try it out to see if it worked. Two months later I just finished my treatment and I have no more pain. No more limping, I can feel my toes now, and am back to normal activities. The whole team at the office is great, and I highly recommend them and the SpineMed process!

Fantastic experience: Starting in mid June I began 20 sessions to relieve back pain due to herniated discs & spinal stenosis. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and wanted to see me achieve a successful outcome. I am 68 years old and have gone multiple times for physical therapy for my back, shoulders and neck and am also a cancer survivor. I had assumed that the aches and pains I would feel were simply a product I my getting older and that nothing could be done. I could not have been more wrong. At the urging of my son, I went to see Dr. Greg. Dr. Greg spent time examining me and testing my body for strength. He told me exactly what I was experiencing without me even telling him. He suggested that I try his spine med treatment to help with the aching and the weakness in my body. I was very skeptical at first, but I left his office and did my research. Everything he told me was verified. I decided to begin the treatment for my neck and back. After just one treatment, I began to notice a difference. With each treatment, I feel as if I am getting younger and not older. I literally have no pain. I am doing things with such ease that before would cause me to feel pain and get fatigued. Fantastic experience: I walked into Lewis Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center like a mummy. I could barely move my neck and I was in so much pain. Dr Greg saw me checking in and could already tell what I was suffering from. After reviewing my MRI images, we sat down and worked out my personal treatment plan and I started treatment right away. Believe me when I say it feels like a spa treatment every time. Everyone at the practice is incredible. Shari is always smiling, welcoming and accommodating with my schedule. Lynne and Kim are rockstars. They juggle so much while still giving each patient individual attention. Dr Tim and Dr Greg are so personable and informative. They talk me through everything and really listen to my questions. I was nervous for my first adjustment (ever) and Lisa the office manager even held my hand through it. Fantastic experience: After being diagnosed with degenerate disc disease and 4 pinched nerves I knew I did not want surgery. I consultant with Lewis Chiropractic for an alternative solution. The treatments that I was given on the SpineMed Machine made a world of wonder and I was able to function again with little to no pain. I am grateful for all they have done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been a paramedic for over 15 years which really takes a toll on your body. I did regular chiropractic before and it worked but it didn’t last.  Lewis Family Chiropractic was so much more than immediate temporary relief. I completed the spine med therapy along with the exercises to strengthen my core and improve posture. It has been of great benefit to me. My back used to be tight as a drum and now I can’t believe the improvement in my flexibility. I will continue to do the core exercises and follow up adjustments. All the staff were so friendly and encouraging.

My daughter was so excited with her improvement from Lewis Family chiropractics that she convinced me to try it. I did the spineMED disc protocol to heal and repair my discs . Fantastic experience: I inquired about treatment for chemo induced neuropathy with Lewis Chiropractic. From day 1, I was treated respectfully and everyone was truly genuine in the care of my issues. They provided me with laser treatment for the neuropathy and literally after only two treatments I noticed marked improvement. Today after my 16 recommended treatments I can say that the neuropathy symptoms are gone. While going through treatment, Dr. Lewis questioned some of other issues I was experiencing in my neck and requested I get an MRI. It was discovered I had a herniated disc and pinched nerve in the cervical part of my spine. They immediately developed a treatment plan which I began right away. I have noticed significant improvement with range of motion in my neck as well as the tightness and dull pain I was experiencing. Today I have graduated from both my programs and could not be happier. I highly recommend Lewis Chiropractic for a variety of treatments they can provide. Fantastic experience: I’ve had chronic shoulder pain for at least 2 years. Nothing has cured me of what has been diagnosed by others as chronic tendonitis or a micro tear in my rotator cuff. 6 months of PT increased mobility, but only so much. Dr. Greg’s diagnosis after an MRI (pinched nerve) and treatment (ultrasound, laser, spinal decompression, chiropractic adjustments, etc) is the first treatment plan to significantly diminish my pain and give me back the use of my shoulder/arm. I’m halfway through my treatment and feel the best I’ve felt in years.

Negative experience: If you are searching for an honest, ethical and knowledgeable chiropractor - Keep looking. I am currently being seen at Carroll Chiropractor and Sports Injury Center and they are FANTASTIC!! The insurance process was easy and efficient and I was explained every expense prior to starting treatment. So let me tell you the differences between the two practices and why I would avoid Lewis Family Chiropractic. I came in for my initial visit. Filled out all of my paperwork and gave them my insurance information. I was told that nothing would be covered until I hit my deductible and I would owe them $129.00 for todays visit. I told them I was not prepared for that and would have to reschedule. I had not seen a chiropractor before and did not look into benefits prior to coming in. They told me that they would still see me, but would write it off as a free consultation. So he took me back.. Did HALF of an exam and told me to get an MRI and come back for the rest of the exam. Then sent me on my way. Two weeks later I get a bill for 30.00 (copay that they failed to collect due to unknowledgeable front desk staff) and billed my insurance for the rest. It was a complete scam, misleading and unethical to tell someone it was being written off as a free consultation and then bill out for it anyways. I have absolutely no clue where they got the $129.00 from prior to offering the free consultation.. The free consultation that wasn’t actually free. Keep in mind - He did not even complete a full exam. As a side note.. The office is outdated, messy and everything seems to be in disarray.. Even down to the front desk deciding what they want to charge people on a whim. Let’s fast forward to Carroll Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center. I entered online for a promotion and got accepted.. It was 27.00 TOTAL for my standard radiographs and a FULL exam (They did NOT suggest an MRI - Totally unnecessary for my symptoms.) No hidden fees or scams. Every appointment thereafter has been 30.00 co-pay. The office operates like a well oiled machine. The staff is friendly, concise and Dr. Bennett is a wonderful doctor to work with and very knowledgeable.

I have personally worked with the office for years and they are a long standing facility in the health care community. If you have tried other methods of back and neck pain relief unsuccessfully, give them a try.

Negative experience: While searching for a local chiropractor to treat my lower back pain and elbow tendinitis, I located (Dr. Greg) Lewis Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center. I was impressed with their 4.8  star rating. However, had I read through Bethany Offutt's review, dated 11 months ago, I probably would have researched some more doctors before choosing the first one I saw on the internet.  I just turned 65, and I am currently on Medicare.  “Dr. Greg” told me emphatically that my insurance didn't cover any chiro- practic services, except for manual therapy.  I found out later that other chiropractors in the area offered traction, which is covered by Medicare.   I also believed him when he told me that acupuncture wasn't really effective. I later read that it significantly benefits pain management, inflammation, and healing. Dr. Greg  viewed my spinal MRI, but only a medical doctor, not a chiropractor, is trained to analyze it.   He offered to treat my herniated L-5 spinal column disc with my tendinitis with no additional charge,  but for a whopping $3780.00. The plan included SpineMed, 2 soft tissue laser treatments, spinal manipulation, excercises, and vibration. However, three things angered me.  While in the office manager’s office, I discovered an almost unforgivable math error of $810 in the quote.  Then, after Dr. Lewis was made aware of it, he didn’t want to include the tendinitis treatment until I refused to sign up without it.  He tried to even charge me for the initial consultation which was supposed to be free. During the first few visits, I discontinued the $30 daily fee to be merely supervised for performing excercises that I could do at home, free of  charge.  I cut out the vibration therapy of $15 per usage, too, which consisted of standing on top of a vibrating base for a 2-3 minutes.   After 10 treatments, I decided to cancel 3 days later as I wasn’t getting any better.  In fact, I was getting worse, with more lower back pain and a new pain in both of my thighs that hasn’t subsided for the last 2 weeks.  The tenderness in my right elbow is now  more severe, also.  I wasted $1600, so I asked Jessica, the office manager, but futilely, for a partial refund which was promptly refused.  My only recompense was to write this review so as to caution others before they make a major financial decision that they might regret. I am currently seeing an acupuncturist.   I may also seek out another chiropractor to complete my recovery. I have recently  contacted a couple of local chiropractors who offered me traction, therapeutic  excercises, and manual manipulation for only $20-$30 per visit with Medicare paying for the rest.

Fantastic experience: The entire Lewis Chiro staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and thorough with their approach to the patients needs. I have several injuries and surgeries: Broken hip, broken wrist, and crushed toe. The therapist and the docs concentrated on improving my movement/range of motion and pain in each area. Some of my injuries as well as the amount and size of the hardware in my body have prevented certain increase in motion and a decrease in pain but overall I do have improvements in both areas since my treatment at Lewis. I am an active person and I push my body to stay strong and healthy and I will continue to do so as I employ exercises that I learned from Lewis folks. Overall, I am moving forward and won't slow down. . .yet! Thank you for the tools I need!

Within a few treatments, I was able to walk and move with little discomfort or pain. I just completed my treatment plan and feel so much better than I did before my injury. This is the place you want to be for Chiropractic Wellness!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars! I walked...hobbled in to be more precise, and halfway through my treatments I can now walk like a normal person! I so recommend orthotic inserts, they make all the difference. Dr. Lewis and his team are great. I've never gone to a chiropractor before. But they've done wonders for my poor and tired correctional officer feet.
