Fantastic experience: I have been to many chiropractors over the years and Dr. Arnone is the best. We drive 45 minutes to see him and he's helped my whole family with a whole variety of back and health issues. He healed my thyroid and helped my back pain through two difficult pregnancies, helped my husband with a back injury from a ladder fall, and he's been awesome with our kids as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been under Dr. Arnone's care for almost 20 years...not sure why I haven't written a review online. But, I referred so many people over the years. His kindness and attention to detail is only outmatched by his skillset. I can't say enough about how he heals and in my opinion has prevented illness for me. Do yourself a favor and if you can get an appointment....go for it.

Fantastic experience: I became a patient of Dr. Derek Farmen initially when my knee popped a couple of years ago and it hurt so much that it nearly took me to the floor. My knee became very swollen & the pain increased throughout the day. I was surprised that Dr. Farmen took x-rays of my spine instead of my knee, but I had made an appointment on a recommendation from a friend, Liz, who works in the physical therapy side of the Balanced Body Center. I knew little about chiropractic care, so I decided to just trust the process. I’m incredibly thankful that I did. The x-rays revealed that my neck was severely out of alignment (I could even see how crooked it was without having any medical training in the review of x-rays.). I started having neck pain after a whiplash injury in 2000 & had just accepted that my neck would always hurt. I suffered for 19 years assuming nothing could be done. My husband even noted that I would turn my entire upper body to check my blind spot on the road due to the limited mobility of my neck. Dr. Farmen rid me of the pain not only in my knee, but also my neck & lower back. He restored my neck mobility as well. I have moved away from Charlotte, sadly, but I still stop in for an adjustment whenever I’m in town. I always leave the office feeling like I’m walking on clouds. If you’re experiencing discomfort in your neck, back, or even your knees, I highly recommend checking out the Balanced Body Center. They’ll treat you like family rather than a number & keep digging until they figure out how to help you.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend The Balanced Body Center to anyone. Dr. Arnone has helped me so much! I initially went to him for chiropractic care, and he immediately noticed I had some physical signs of inflammation issues. After a thorough assessment, he developed a treatment plan and it has changed my life. He showed me that he was more interested in finding the root of my problem, than just masking the symptoms with medication. He is very knowledgeable, but he showed me that he truly cares about my health and well-being. They also have an awesome physical therapy department! Positive experience: Not recommended for help other than chiropractic care. I have a complex health issue and the only thing I've been offered from Dr. Farmen are 15 minute "doctor" visits which result in trying supplements that just don't work.

Fantastic experience: This place has one of the best massages therapists I’ve ever seen! Lauren Saint Blancard applies her knowledge and skill of massage therapy like an artist. She uses a lot of techniques that helped me with a rotator cuff injury and has helped me with my lower back pain as well. Her personality it professional but super friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better massage therapist.

Fantastic experience: The Balanced Body Center has helped me more than I can even say. I had a bad car accident several years ago where I had a head and neck injury. Neurologists don't know what to do with me regarding the traumatic brain injury. Dr Arnone adjusts my neck, back and skull which has helped me return to a normal life. Before the help I have gotten from the Balanced Body Center through chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy and message therapy, my life consisted of sleeping 12-14 hours a day so that I could just barely get through an 8 hour work day. Now I have a life. I couldn't have done this without their help. Thank you so much. I will never be able to repay you.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Arnone for a few months for chiropractic care (initially for upper cervical care, C1) and it's been a great experience! His specialized technique for adjusting the Atlas is extremely gentle and feels like a like touch to the neck. I've already seen progress in my neck in areas that were reverse-curved after following the treatment schedule he suggested. The office staff is warm and inviting, and runs extremely efficiently, which is impressive given it's a busy office and the many services beyond chiropractic that are offered (PT, massage, Dr. Kat for thermography, etc.). I highly recommend The Balanced Body Center!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Arnone and his whole staff completely changed my life. I had back and achilles pain for over 10 years, saw multiple doctors, PTs and Chiropractors (some of whom told me I shouldn't run or play golf anymore). Dr. Arnone was able to determine the root cause of the pain (which no other doctor had been able to determine), and now I'm pain free and back to running and playing golf. Monthly adjustments are a huge help, and his use of innovative technology (like the React table) help in ways that others don't. I also had serious problems with sleep, and Arnone was able to dive deep through neurotransmitter testing to help find the right approach and supplements. I now sleep through the night and go about my day feeling much younger than I am. I'm a big fan of Dr. Arnone, Dr. Farmen, and then entire staff!!

Balanced Body has a state-of-the art PT department that is by far the most comprehensive I’ve experienced (and I’ve been to many for various sport injuries), amazing massage therapists (to complement PT or to simply relax), and offers myriad information on how to maximize overall health and well-being. The ENTIRE staff is awesome—helpful, personable, and caring. You feel like they care about you because they actually DO care about you. AND a real person answers the phone. On that rare occasion that you have to leave a message, someone calls you right back. Balanced Body is where you go to, well, balance your body. I recommend them to everyone. Definitely a 10-Star experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Arnone since 2006, and I cannot say enough good about him and The Balanced Body Center. Dr. Arnone is hands down the BEST chiropractor I have ever been to. He is smart, kind, and has been able to help me with every physical problem I have ever come to him with. I love that he has physical therapists on staff, and in my opinion they are some of the best in the Charlotte area. They also offer massage therapy, and I go no where else for my massages. At different points in time, I referred 3 different individuals to Dr. Arnone who were told they needed surgery. In all 3 cases, because of his therapy and recommendations, they were able to find relief and healing without going under the knife. Recently, when Dr. Arnone was away, I was adjusted by his associate, Dr. Farmen, and I was also very pleased with the care I received under him. Fantastic experience: I want to share a resource that has literally transformed my life in the fight against depression, axiety, and panic attacks. I started seeing Dr. Philip A. Arnone, BS, DC, DABCI in Matthews. He's teaching me that my stress/ trauma was literally breaking down my immune system, gut, and then producing neurological immune disturbances which kept my brain in a state of PUMPING out hormones 24/7 that keep me in a state of depression and constant panic. It looks like: - Intense Chest Pain - Struggle to breathe and take a deep breath - Constant panic attacks for no reason where I was left physically shaking and light headed - Constant emotional torture where I just wanted it all to end - Inability to do extremely simple tasks without panic attacks - ZERO SLEEP I literally never slept. And that brings a whole additional black hole worth of problems affecting everything from my body's ability to take in nutrients to my "lady" hormones which have been another bad roller coaster. And the icing on the cake is horrible skin rashes - so fun. I tell you all of this because depression, anxiety, panic, inability to sleep, etc., are *all symptoms* and there may be a root cause. No person is the same, and you may be experiencing the same because of something completely different from me. It could be one of any given hundred issues. You just need to learn what your body is crying out for. I take depression medication, however, Dr. Arnone has provided the EXACT nutrients, minerals, amino acids, and probiotics my body was desperately needing. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst), my symptoms are down to a 3/4, I can't stop celebrating! You should give them a call. Miss Susan will love to speak to you. The staff is incredible. Please give yourself a chance to experience freedom from these chains.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Arnone and his staff are very professional, and truly care about their patients' overall total health, from the inside - out. Dr. Arnone takes a holistic view of the body, from musculoskeletal to gut health/symbiosis. I came in initially with lower back strain and spasms, and no longer have any back issues. I was also experiencing gut issues and body inflammation; Dr. Arnone is addressing that and we are working on the source of those issues with natural supplement treatments - not prescriptive drugs. I am very pleased, and highly recommend this practice!

Also, his type of chiropractic never leaves me in pain, while other styles of chiropractic have left me in chronic back pain. Positive experience: I started seeing Dr Arnone when no one could seem to help me. He was able to get me stable enough to begin to function and do day to day activities. One day I had to see Dr. Farmen and although he knew my case was challenging he didn't shy away. He treated me and did a thorough review and we have worked on a plan to peel the layers of the onion away. Dr. Farmen is extremely knowledgeable, but he also listens to what the body is presenting and adjusts his treatment plan accordingly.
