Fantastic experience: Great gym, staff is helpful and respectful and the equipment is well maintained and has good variety. Gym has an outdoor area where you can do stadiums (for former football guys) and has no touch water refill stations and fridges where you can buy cold drinks. Great gym for price and quality.

Fantastic experience: always clean and plenty of equipment so there’s no wait. members get to use the infrared sauna. they have personal trainers and an outdoor training area. the vip level gets you others perks like hydro massage chairs, body mapping, a and unlimited guest access to bring your friends along!

Negative experience: This is great gym if you want piles of dirt in the lockers, ringworm from the benches, urine smell filling the locker room, sweat stained saunas, dirt and leaves covering outdoor equipment, holes in the walls, stained locker room carpet, and rude management. I brought these concerns up to management and was told "this is the cleanest gym in Jax bruh" and then my membership was cancelled instead of anything being addressed. This gym has the bones of a great gym it is just poorly ran. The equipment and facilities were top of the line 5 years ago but have slowly worn away and are no longer in good shape.

Negative experience: Refused to let me cancel my membership and some of the staff are really rude. Do not go here find somewhere better that won’t trap you, not kind to vets and do not care about customers. Very unprofessional business practices, I’ve never experienced such issues until this gym. Says they sold my debt to a debt collector but still saying I owe the gym money and am not allowed to cancel until I pay. Pay who? The gym SOLD the debt yet continue to tell me I need to make a payment to the gym. I was refused a cancelation form every single time I emailed, called or went in. I have no current debt so I do not understand why they are holding me hostage and ignoring their wrong doings.
As you were informed, a membership cannot be cancelled with a past due balance. All you have to do is pay the past due amount and your membership can be cancelled. We have members that cancel daily with no problem at all. There are very simple instructions to follow to cancel the membership, which you were informed of multiple times (which are all noted in your membership file). These steps were not followed, hence, your membership isn’t cancelled. If you would like to pay your past due amount, we will be happy to cancel your membership today. Feel free to give us a call after 9am when the business office opens if you have any questions. Thanks
Negative experience: The owner is rude to customers.
No, you are just upset that you have to follow our policies for cancelling your membership. Just because you don’t get what you want doesn’t make the other party rude. All you have to do is come in and fill out a cancellation form and we will be more than happy to get your membership cancelled. This is the same thing you have been told every time you have called the gym, by every employee you have spoken to, as is noted in the computer under your membership notes. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: They do not have the basic $10 membership anymore, they only have the $25 but comes with plenty of perks and the infrared sauna is what really sealed the deal for me. Very nice gym, staff and convenient location by 295.

Negative experience: Not 24 hours like the video on the website and some of their reviews said. I was charged 69 dollars when I canceled my membership. When they said it would be 24.
You have to give a 30 day notice when you cancel and are responsible for any payments due within that 30 day period. It is stated very clearly in the membership agreement and all new members Specifically initial that on the agreement when they joined the facility.
Positive experience: I use to love this gym, it is clean, and never too crowded but….. they stopped the classes which I enjoyed and need so had to cancel and find it elsewhere

Positive experience: It’s a nice small ma & pop type of gym with all the equipment to get a sufficient workout. My main issue is the hours. They use to be 24 hours but due to the pandemic, changed to closing at 10pm during the week & 6-7 on weekends. I understand not being 24 hours but I wish they had longer evening hours. I think midnight would be fair especially now that they are going up in price and charging everyone the upgraded membership fee.

Positive experience: Like the place, clean, spacious and not crowded. The gym has enough equipment to perform all your exercises and a little outside place to workout as well but it could use is a hack squat machine in my opinion. Overall a solid gym.

The staff is super friendly and attentive, and each personal training session with Mike is more challenging than the last. Fantastic experience: I went there to cancel my wife's membership. The staff is awesome and extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I got accomplished in a 2 year membership for my wife was that I didn't have to hear "if I only could join a gym."

Negative experience: I was really excited when Asana opened because it was walking distance from my house. the whole family joined and it was opened for 24 hours which was great for everyone's schedule and I could bring a friend with me every now and then. After the lockdown the hours drastically reduced and they were closed for a while but they still continued to pull their money from my account. They even charged their annual fee on time even though they were closed. I haven't been in several months but never cancelled even though my whole family did because I wanted to support a local business. But when I called to ask if I could bring a friend who would be visiting I was told I needed to upgrade my membership. I haven't visited in 7 months but gave you my money and I can't have someone accompany me for 2 days? Last straw for me. Small businesses should really learn customer service especially in the current climate. I wish them luck.
We were forced to shut down by a government mandate, and didn’t charge anyone while we were closed. If your yearly charge was due while we were closed we didn’t charge that until the month after we reopened. We did limit our hours due to Covid, as we felt that was the responsible thing to do, primarily so we would have more time in the late night hours to make sure the gym was clean and remained a safe place for our members, which has worked and we are glad that we have t had any issues from Covid. We are sorry that these things we did on the best interest of the gym upset you, and we hope you find a gym that can suit your needs.

Negative experience: I moved out of Jacksonville July 24 2019 I called them because I forgot to cancel, so I could cancel my membership. If it’s my account my name and I verify I should be able to cancel over the phone. Apparently they say I had to come in person when I’m already over a thousand miles away on the other side of the country. The guy tells me my account was sent to collections and then says the girl should’ve informed me (which she didn’t) and now I have a collection on my credit because these people can’t communicate. Any other gym would’ve understood I couldn’t come in and cancel due to the distance. Seems like these people don’t care once they get your money and get you on that contract and they make it next to impossible to cancel especially for athletes that get called all over the country and can’t just walk in to cancel a membership. Great gyms set up but it’s ran poorly and horrible ethics.
All you has to do to cancel is either come in, OR send a certified letter to the gym stating that you wanted to cancel. All of which, is stated in your membership agreement. I’m not sure how it’s the gyms fault

Fantastic experience: I did the $95 down for a year no contract, super good price. Good equipment and super clean, everyone I've seen cleans all the equipment after each use too, which never happened at my old gym.
Fantastic experience: I am normally very apprehensive about gyms. I have visited a few but never got a membership before because the people were either rude or disrespectful or just plain uncaring. My friend brought me to Asana to go to Ashley's class. She is super positive and she gets invested in you as a person. She wants to help you help yourself get healthy. After that first class I joined immediately. And it was all because of her! I love Ashley! Ashley is the best experience I have had there and her class is full of people who are just as kind and upbeat. I love our classes!!
Fantastic experience: Asana is the only gym I’ve ever stuck with long term. My personal trainer Ashley is who I can that for that. She is the best trainer I have ever worked with. Her high energy and continuous motivation is what keeps me going. I’m on my way to reaching my fitness goals with her direction.

Fantastic experience: I’m in town on business and needed a gym to use for a couple of months. By far the best gym I’ve ever used. Customer service and facilities have exceeded my expectations. Wish this facility was in Virginia. I will surely recommend Asana to all my colleagues when they travel here to Jax.
Fantastic experience: Best gym and heavenly clean
Positive experience: I came in on a free one week guest pass provided on the Asana website. It was pretty easy to sign up for and when I got to the gym it was rather easy to get started. Asana bills itself as a wellness center and I am not sure why, however, they are a nice gym. They have good hours, although they recently changed them. I went four times during my free week pass and it was never busy. I did go during the middle of the day, but other local gyms have more traffic at midday then Asana. The locker rooms are pretty well kept. You don't need a lock as all lockers have a personal code you can choose. It seemed clean, but I did notice there are no facial tissues. Now, this isn't a deal breaker, but if you want to stop the spread of germs it is a good idea to have some tissue boxes spread through the gym so you can sneeze or cough into. There is a sauna and several shower stalls to use. I did not use them, but they seemed like the were clean and in working order. The gym itself seems very new. The free weight area is large and well organized. They have barbells that go fairly high. The circuit machines are plentiful and it seemed like they have most of the most popular machines. I did notice that there is no squat rack inside. That is a pretty big and glaring missing piece of equipment. Outside they have an artificial turf area where you can squat, deadlift, etc, but it is a bit cramped as it is underneath metal stairs. If you want to do a standing shoulder press you have to move as the stairs are right above you. Not a deal breaker, but a bit strange considering there is no squat rack. Outside they have some old large tires. You can use them for pyrometric jumps or you flip them. They also have sledgehammers so that you can swing and hit the tires to work out your core. They have a push and a pull sled and about 30 feet to use for that. I thought it was ample space. They used to have a spin room for classes, but it has been converted now. It now houses more free weights, smith machines, and benches. The membership rates seemed very fair to me. There were three tiers. Just the gym, gym and two amenities, and gym and all amenities. The cheapest tier is about $10, then $20, then $30. You can also pay in full to lock in a rate. The rates seem pretty good, but having been around a lot of gyms and reading other reviews has me wondering. Many people complain about cancelling their membership or being contacted to show up. I hate dealing with membership services for something that should be simple, but then again I do not have any first hand experience with that as I came in as a guest. All in all the gym is pretty good. A few strange choices in terms of machines or placement, but nothing terrible. Besides Mia I thought customer service was pretty okay. Mia at the front desk is super helpful and nice.
Positive experience: I just signed up thinking it was a 24 hour gym. It is no longer 24/7, it closes at 10 pm going forward.
We are still 24 hours during the week, but will be closing at 10 on Friday night, and open 7am-10pm Sat and Sun.
Fantastic experience: I haven't been a member long, but I love this gym, I'm glad I'm not pressed to talk to people because the members at this gym walks around like they're better than you with there head stuck in the Air or there Azz. The employees there are awesome very friendly and helpful!

Negative experience: It’s a new gym so it has the illusion of being nice. They went all out on cardio equipment and had to go low quality out on all their other machines and weights. Once you look past the flashy lights and cheap ikea fixtures it’s a Planet Fitness without the purple. Not a single real squat rack inside this place. “No commitment” month to month contract is a hassle to cancel.
Sorry that you feel that way. We feel like we have an amazing facility, and are sorry that it doesn’t fit your needs. We hope you find a facility that does. And I will have to say that our strength equipment is all Cybex and Precor, which are 2 of the top 3 fitness manufactures in the in the world. Our cancellation policy is 30 day notice, and your account has to be up to date with no past due balance. That is the reason your membership wasn’t cancelled as you were informed. Fantastic experience: Near perfect gym experience +New and clean equipment +Will never get too crowded to stop from working out from anyone else +extremely clean atmosphere +small space but everything you need to workout every muscle +welcoming staff -no swimming pool Never have I ever seen a gym as perfect as this, and all of this for as little as 10$, the only downside is this doesn't have a pool.

Fantastic experience: I do crossfit/HIIT type workouts and love that Asana has almost all of the equipment I need and use regularly. Only thing missing is an assault bike! Has a great outdoor area for training as well, and the gym is always very clean. I also like that the gym is always staffed.

Fantastic experience: I love being a member of Asana! The staff are friendly and welcoming and they keep the gym in excellent condition. The members of Asana are also friendly and respectful and it makes this gym a really great place to be. The outside area is awesome and I love having the option to go outside for part of my workout. I very much enjoy using their Hydrobed and sitting in the Infrared sauna after workouts. It is an all around wonderful gym!!!

Fantastic experience: This gym is spectacular. It’s always clean, very well kept up, gym equipment is all new and up to date and the staff is ultra friendly and helpful. The latest review giving one star is bogus and it’s obvious that lady had no business being there to begin with. She would be there for more than 6 hours a day and never once use any equipment.. if your going out to be on a computer and “work” then go to a Starbucks or library not a gym. You can tell from all other reviews the are 4 or 5 star this gym is actually a very efficient and good gym. I know Anika (which is the correct spelling not the off the wall spelling that other lady was going for) she is a very hard worker and by no means fake. She was probably legitimately worried about that lady since she had been in the bathroom for so long and was really going to try to help. The gym is not that big so it’s easy to see everyone anytime they’re there.. claiming stalking is absolutely hilarious. Try again lady.. don’t through your own hate on a place and people that are actually solid. Have fun at the public library. Anyone looking to actually use a gym for its intended use this one is top notch!

I’ve come to really respect everyone that works there even more so Anika she’s always friendly and just and tries to make everyone feel safe. There was an situation where a woman took 3 hours in the bathroom and she took it to herself to go check on her and ask if she was okay. This woman was so rude when she was being explain to after ANOTHER HOUR that there are elders that use the gym and the disability restroom should be used with reason if she was okay as she said she was. regardless This Same woman had her laptop at the gym laying about and I even couldn’t work out properly because of it after she was asked nicely to try to better arrange her things to make it a good area for All the members she decided to cancel her membership so **** YOU SHOULD JOIN! more space for positive energy and those looking to make affective changes in their lives being the GYM should feel save for everyone. For this reason I respected Anika even after the woman being hostile anika still kept professional. I’m positive but I may not have been so nice. ( I’m not one to discredit but I saw a comment by jingi hampton which painted a very false picture of events and I realized it was the same woman from today! , rather this woman didn’t workout but sat in the middle of the GYM WITH HER LAPTOP for like 4 hours ( not even being sarcastic) . hindering others to be comfortable and workout, me being one of the paying customers that pay for a gym not an office for a customer that’s being dismissive of the others that also pay to use the gym. )
Negative experience: this is going to be a weird review ..because I REALLY liked the gym..everything was great ..UNTIL..this one worker started following me around her name is annanika ..I wasn't even here long ..but I noticed her everywhere I was..yesterday she just was magically everywhere..today I was in the bthrm she knocked on the door.."everything alright" you know what's funny I kind of expected her to knock..I said yes..I am fine..so then I go out and ask was there a time line for being in the bthrm? she immediately goes into this monologue about elderly people may need to use it..etc ..yeah(right) ..anywho she starts talking about me working out the day before in which another cust rep said I could work out to my own laptop in the other room..annanika says ..yeah but when you leave papers everywhere..what? I didn't leave any papers..I left my computer briefly to use the restrm and came right back ..this was yesterday..she is just now telling me today..if it was a problem..then you should have said it yesterday..not to mention this further proves her stalking me since she laid eyes on me..how do you know what I am doing when?..of course she says"i was just doing my job"..yeah(right)..this girl is going to run people off..and then she had the nerve to ask me "WHY ARE YOU CANCELING?" are you serious? I said "you" she sarcastically said yeah for doing my job..I said ..I need to let people know about you..she says sarcastically "go for it" then she added insult to injury and said YOU WILL STILL BE CHARGED FOR THIS MONTH...MY ADVICE.. as long as she is here..go somewhere else..oh but don't worry she will ALWAYS give you one great big FAKE smile

No, it’s very easy to cancel at Asana, simply a 30 day notice and fill out a cancellation form at the front desk.
Positive experience: They really took good care of me after my accident. However, I've heard they've gone out of business not sure about that, though.
New owners purchased Asana and it was reopened in September of 2018, renovated and better than ever.

Fantastic experience: This place is a gem of a gym. Large indoor and outdoor areas, with new equipment. The facilities are immaculately clean , and the members and staff are super friendly and helpful. A large variety of classes are offered. Tip: end your workout with a relaxing infrared sauna session!

Fantastic experience: Scoping out this gym for a new location to get my beast on. When I walked in I was surprised to see how clean and well light it was. The locker room is clean and nicely decorated. Infrared sauna, showers, and lockers are available, functional fitness area, hydro massage, outdoor training area, 3 smith machines, free weights, and 3 membership month to month no contract options. Ooh they are conveniently across the road to Publix. I am very interested in this gym as all the others in JAX cannot compare with the cleanliness, atmosphere and most of all functional fitness area. Fantastic experience: I have been a member of many health clubs over the last 40 years and Asana exceeds any level of cleanliness, equipment access or work out environment that I have ever experienced. Fantastic experience: Have been going to Asana Wellness Center for the last 3 months and I love the experience so far , gym is nice and clean and the staff and trainers are super friendly . Will definitely recommend it to everybody .

Fantastic experience: I love Asana Wellness Center, the facility is very clean and well kept.The staff is always smiling and helpful when I come in. There are so many different machines to work out on and the sauna is my favorite place to go after a great workout. Also there are personal trainers on board to assist you achieve your weight loss or whatever goals you are trying to achieve. I highly recommend this work out facility choose quality over popularity... you won't be disappointed. Angie B

Negative experience: Sure they are all welcoming and sweet when you join and your a member....but when you cancel all that changes. I got a second job and I was unable to use their facility and they literally double billed me, they take out your first and last month payment when you join, I went in and signed my 30 day notice, I was then told my last day to use the facility was november 17, well guess what?! Not only was I hit with the $39 annual fee but also another monthly fee and never used the gym! Try talking to the manager and of course theres nothing he can do!!!
We apologize for any confusion, but as stated when a member joins its 30 day notice to cancel and the member is responsible for any payments during that time. Your cancellation form was filled out on 10/25, therefore you are responsible for the payments due before 11/25. Your membership is good till 1/25/19 not 11/17/18. You can use the facilities until then, not sure where the 11/17 date came from but like I said above, we apologize for the confusion.
Fantastic experience: Not sure why the ratings are low on here they deserve a higher rating than 3.6 people always seem to sweat the small stuff.I was a member of planet fitness and I believe this gym is 10x better! The atmosphere is great... membership price is reasonable, the gym has a sauna and it’s 24hours!!! Major plus!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing, great staff too bathrooms are very clean and well kept and the suana is nice too and very modern gym
Positive experience: Tried ASANA on a 5 Day Pass . Really enjoyed the facility and atmosphere though when talking with the employee's at the front desk most didn't seem to have knowledge of Health or Wellness. Over the next 5 days I saw one male employee and six female employee's so I decided to apply , though now I think this is by design . As a male with knowledge of Nutrition and Physical Science I thought I had the job in the bag but after a short interview and several days of calling the manager informed me he chose some one with more sales experience . I like everyone I met and I understand the potential value of an all female staff in a gym setting , I am disappointed though that the "Personal Passion" talked about at the interview is for "Selling" and not a passion for Health and Wellness . SideNote : There is always more than just one side of the story and I am sure the manager(s) have reasons why they chose another candidate . I am not here to dishonour ASANA nor anyone who works there .

Upon speaking to the person you interviewed with, they did decide to go with another candidate, (a male) who had more qualifications for the job. Management is interested in staying in touch with you for future possible opportunities so please stay in touch as we may be adding staff in 2017. Asana does not qualify employees based on gender. We do look for experience earned in the necessary field for each position.
Fantastic experience: I went to Asana expecting a gym, you know, a place to work out. Form the moment I entered the front door I could tell Asana was different. I was given individual attention, including a complete assessment of my health, my needs and desires concerning fitness and well being. Nutrition? Yep. Great help getting started and super classes. And top it all off with a healing inferred sauna! And the staff couldn't be more helpful, paying attention to my needs.This place is like a cross between a country club and a medical spa, only less expensive and more fun! THANK YOU, Asana, my life is getting better every day!!

Positive experience: Love the wellness concept, the classes, the instructors, and the equipment. I dislike that the sauna in the women's locker room has never worked properly and not being able to use all the equipment such as the K2 because I don't have the team training membership. I understand not being able to take the team training classes but I don't understand not being able to freely use all the equipment.

We have been working tirelessly with the manufacturer on the problem, and looks like we finally have the solutions. We expect them to be running perfectly by this weekend. As for the TEAM Training classes, please feel free to contact me directly: [email protected] - would love to get your thoughts and answer any questions you may have on this. As for the K2- being outside and out of supervision, along with being a more sophisticated piece of equipment, the liability is too great to allow for independent usage. Therefore, the K2 is a supervised TEAM Training option only, or when utilizing the 1 on 1 services of a Wellness Warrior. We hope you would understand that we take the safety of our members very seriously, so some specialized training equipment is reserved for supervised activity. Negative experience: Day 1, what a joke. Not one employee spoke or looked my way period; not to mention OFFER some HELP or GUIDANCE, as was promised when they were selling me on this place. If I am going to wonder aimlessly from machine to machine, I can spend a lot less than 60.00 a MONTH to do so.
