Negative experience: The team is nice but unless you like throwing money down the drain- I DO NOT recommend. I paid lots of money for the Green Laser Body Sculpting and after several treatments my legs look the same as they did beforehand. I’m scarily really sad & disappointed about it. I feel like I got bamboozled. Please don’t reply with an automated message asking me to reach out so you fix my experience- we already tried that and you didn’t. Please don’t act like this is new news.

I am only 9 weeks into my program and I have already lost 27 pounds and a bunch of inches from combining the green laser with the awakening weight loss program. Fantastic experience: I have had the most incredible experience here. I have lost 70 pounds since I began the program. Being in my mid 50s, this was really a struggle to me prior. I will say the first 50 pounds came from their basic weight loss program without semiglutide and the last 20 was with semiglutide. my reason for mentioning this is that both programs work very effectively if you commit to the program. Dr Lara has guided me quite well and you will love all the girls in the office!

Fantastic experience: I started my wellness journey at the DTSP location in May. Completed the first 12 week program with dieting, supplements, and b12 shots. I was super nervous about coming in every week and having blood drawn but I have made an amazing friend in Nelly and the other women here. They are always motivating, they provide you with so much education to help keep you confident, and without them i wouldn’t be down over 20lbs as of today! If you’re thinking of giving this facility a try, DO IT, they have always treated me with respect and safety. ♥️

Fantastic experience: I planned to lose only 15 pounds and ended up losing 28 pounds on his program- I’m finally back to a normal, healthy weight. My only advice, if you want to see the best results for you in his program- keep your stress low (I know, but you have to or you won’t shed the weight) make time for yourself (I make the mornings-after I drop the kids off at school- just for me to walk/exercise) and write everything you eat down in your journal every single day. I’ve continued to maintain the weight I ended the program at and I’m happy with how I look. Dr Lara’s program is worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lara's weight loss clinic is an excellent program dealing with weight loss and how your body works. The Office environment is very comfortable for continued success on this program. Since I started two months ago, I have loss over 40 pounds, been able to stop the daily use of my albuterol for asthma, stop my blood pressure and diuretic pills with the advice of Dr. Lara. Fantastic experience: I joined the Awakening 12 week program at the St. Petersburg Location, it ends 2nd week of December. At the start of the program I weighed 259 pounds, as of my most recent visit, I now weight 214 pounds. When i started the program, I had really severe sleep apnea, to the point where they wanted to do a tracheotomy and put me on a respirator. After careful research, found that weight loss often helps with sleep apnea. At the beginning of the program, I stopped breathing 122 times each hour when i go to sleep, now at my current weight I no longer stop breathing, and when i do its only 1 time or 0 times in an hour! I have the energy I had in high school, I sleep all night now, and wake up feeling rested. My target weight is 200lbs, i feel pretty confident I will get there or better. The staff is very kind and supportive, like an extended family helping you achieve your goal. Best part is Dr. Lara uses a Holistic approach and it works! I am never hungry and as time goes by you actually start to enjoy the diet!

Fantastic experience: I am doing the 90 Days weight loss program and the Formnovelle Body sculpting with Dr.Lara and his amazing Team. Everyone is very welcoming and professional what always gets me excited to walk into the office for my weekly check-ups. Everyone is making you feel good and confident about new progress. This is my first time really sticking to a Diet and I feel great! I am already experiencing first successes with the weight loss but also with feeling healthier and fitter. I appreciate this opportunity and the awesome work of the whole team and I am really excited for the rest of this journey.

Fantastic experience: I finished the Awakening/ 12 week program and was extremely pleased with the results. My schedule is very busy and I was concerned that I was not going to have time to follow the plan, but the doctor, nurse, and other medical staff there give you everything you need to succeed. There is a meal plan with detailed instructions to follow, supplements, and weekly weigh ins. If you follow the meal plan, it will not only work but change your approach to eating and lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: My mother Margarita goes to the St. Pete office early mornings and everyone is so energetic in the morning and the whole staff is super friendly. My mother sees Nelly, she’s awesome! Always willing to help with any questions or concerns and she’s always so great with her job and my mother is very happy to go to this location. We drive from Clearwater to St.Pete because we love the staff and because my mom also loves the attention that Nelly gives her in her check ins every week . Superb St. Pete office super 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Love this practice. Everyone in the clinic is super kind and professional. I had heard of Dr. Lara and finally decided that to lose the 30lbs that snuck up on me the past few years, I was going to need help. And Dr Lara took the time to tell me all the information I needed and gave me all the tools to get back down to a healthy weight. So far lost 20lbs.. my journey is taking a few months longer lol…because I am stubborn. I know for a fact that if I followed ALL of the nutrition guidelines, I would be down 50lbs LOL. Fantastic experience: I was an avid runner then suffered 2 major injuries. Along with struggling with stress and hormonal changes, I gained over 20 lbs. I was not able to reach my weight goals on my own. Dr. Lara and his team helped me to reach my goals and beyond. They are supportive, warm, and offer a warm environment when coming to the office.

Positive experience: They did help me to lose 40lbs. No option though to not use the weight loss pills so I just collected and flushed them. Also, no measurements or before/after pics. Spending all that money it would have been nice to have those.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the St Pete location and couldn't be happier. The MA's Elizabeth and Nelly are super. They really pay attention to my needs and help me through the ups and downs of my weight loss. They really care about me and my health. If you are considering a weight loss program I highly recommend Dr Lara and the St Pete location. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: During covid I gained a lot of weight. I went up from 230 to 260 lbs. My cholesterol and triglycerides were off the charts. I opted for the 90 day weight loss program and I went all the way down to 203 lbs. By the middle of January 2022. Now it is May and I am still maintaining my weight between 202 and 205 lbs. I am an avid weightlifter so a lot of my weight is muscle mass. I get compliments everywhere I go about how great I look now. I was embarrassed to take my shirt off at the beach before, but now I am confident I'm about the way I look. If you are really serious about losing weight this is the place to go Dr Lara's program is truly amazing. I have a new lease on life now!

Fantastic experience: I bought the 8 week green laser treatment. I honestly wasnt expecting anything and thought it was just a marketing scheme. I was willing to give it a go though. I wanted to see how the laser itself worked, so for those 8 weeks I did not work out any more than usual. I Did try to follow their diet guides, but I'll admit I wasnt 100% faithful to the diet guide over those weeks. Even with that being said, I lost 30lbs and am 5in thinner along the thickest part of my abdomen. If I had been more strict and included exercise alongside the treatment, I think It could have been much more. Over the entirety of my body, about 18in were lost if you add up the different sections measured. I'll be going back for another 8 week treatment soon, and this time, now that I know the laser itself has a real effect, I'll add in the strict diet and exercise to work alongside the treatment. Looking forward to those results next!

Negative experience: After researching different approaches to weightloss/ fat reduction, I came across Dr. Lara’s office and decided to make an appointment for the Formnovelle/Verju laser. I had a consultation with a different doctor at the office and he explained that the Verju laser was a safe and effective procedure and went into detail that I would get the same results if I were to have done laser liposuction or surgical liposuction. After 8 weeks and $2,800 later, I’m very disappointed with my results. I lost a few pounds and a few inches all together, but my abdomen area is still large and not what I was expecting it to look like after paying almost $3,000. I worked out and ate healthy during the 8 weeks and to be quite honest I feel like that’s where I lost my “weight”. I feel like the laser treatments did absolutely nothing for me. I only met Dr. Lara once and he did not even see me and my last appointment to see any results. The nurse that was did my procedure was extremely nice and caring, I would give a 5 star for her, but as for the procedure, cost, and results, I wish I could give less than 1 star, very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I needed help with my health and weight and Dr. Lara and his staff have totally come through. I would highly recommend his program. My wife enrolled both of us in Dr. Lara's 390-Day Weight Loss program at his St. Pete office (where the staff is super friendly and really invested in your experience and success). It's been almost two-months and I've lost significant weight and seen major improvement in inflammation and arthritis-type symptoms that I was previously having in my hands. Also, I did the Formnovelle body sculpting and saw results immediately. The biggest benefit for me has been having a professional team to work with me the couple of weeks that I have plateaued. It has made all the difference to keep me from quitting and going back to my old ways of eating.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr.Lara for a year now. Came in last January with extra weight, aches and pains and very low self-esteem. I knew if I didn’t do something about myself, I’d be looking at a host of medical problems. The office staff welcomed me with open arms, as if I was their long lost family member. All so friendly and helpful. I started their program at 164 lbs, and now I am 140, and still losing. But on top of losing my stubborn weight, my aches and pains have left my body, my self esteem has returned and my blood work is perfect!!!! It’s sooo awesome! I can’t Thank Dr. Lara or his beautiful staff enough for giving me my life back. God Bless you all!!!
