Fantastic experience: I can’t even begin to describe how life-changing going here was. My lower back pain began around May after working a 12 hour shift as an aid. At first, I thought I had just pulled a muscle, but that my wasn’t the case. Since then, I had a constant burning and stabbing in my back. I couldn’t walk, couldn’t stand, couldn’t sit for long periods of time. I even struggled to put on SOCKS. I am young, and I need my back for a lot of things. After going to another chiropractor that did NOTHING for my back, I went here. I was terrified because I had never been somewhere that would actually crack my back, but I was willing to try anything to get rid of this pain. Dr. Dorey was fantastic. He explained everything to me, and he told me that I would be controlling my plan of care. He didn’t expect me to need a lot of sessions to get better. I have done two sessions so far. After the first one, I felt like a new person. I was walking normally again, I could pick things up off the ground. I was doing everything that I had been doing before without pain. Today was my second session (exactly a week after my first), and the only pain that I have is a little aching in the morning that goes away as I get my day started. This place is incredible, and everyone there is very professional and kind. I highly recommend.

Positive experience: I work as a bus driver for handicap, can't comment on the quality of Med care. the receptionist are the worst I've seen in the Morgantown area and i have gone to many of the medical facilities in motown.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to see Dr. Dorey for several years now, and I will not go anywhere else! I ride horses and have had lower back problems since I was 16, and for several years I worried I would have to give up what I loved. Every time I would ride or do anything even remotely strenuous, my back would punish me for days afterwards. And if I continued to push myself, it could be months of intense pain and limited activity before I could resume my normal activities. Since I started going to Spineworks, I've felt like I can live my life again. I am back to riding my horses, cleaning stalls, playing with my dogs, doing housework, and not being worried about whether or not I'll be able to function for the next 6 months. Dr. Dorey always gets me in pretty quickly when I'm having a flare up, and I always leave feeling significant improvement. I'm also able to be seen as little or as often as I want, and he never makes me feel pressured about my decisions; he will give me his advice and then let me decide. This is something I know a lot of places aren't good at, and I really appreciate his approach to this. Sometimes I only need to see him once or twice a year, and sometimes I see him weekly or twice a week for a period of time; this mostly depends on my activity level and what trouble I'm getting myself into lol. I briefly worked for Advantage Health and Wellness in Morgantown as well, and even while working there, I still went to Dr. Dorey for my care. He has such a different approach than other places I've seen, and I will never go anywhere else as long as he's still in business. I truly believe he cares for his patients, and yes he runs a business and needs to make a profit, but he isn't out to drain your pocketbook. Dr. Dorey also has impeccable bedside manner, and even my friend who has had bad experiences with multiple doctors/specialists in the past feels very comfortable going to see him. So if you're reading this, I'll tell you, and I'll continue to tell everyone I talk to in person, go see Dr. Dorey if you need chiropractic care! :)

The offices are clean and well maintained, and it is clear the equipment is well kept and up to date. Dr. Dorey takes the time to explain the 'why' behind the injury and explains the treatment in such a way which educates you, without ever making you feel dim-witted. The skill and precision with which he operates has you feeling better more quickly than you would anticipate. His technique is quick and effective, yet you never feel rushed, and it is EVIDENT that he cares about getting the problem(s) resolved as quickly as possible. I have never in my life experienced a specialist who is so kind and personable (and I've seen my fair share). I most sincerely could not recommend ANY other office with such conviction. If you're looking for a quality Chiropractor, you need look no further. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I hesitate to write a review, because some may say it's too good to be a true review. Nope. He's that good. From Kat, (Cat?) Up front, to the few other crew he has to help, I have nothing but great things to say. Friendly and kind, and at the same time, very professional. Clean and quiet atmosphere, with a very low stress vibe. Dr. Dorey is nothing short of a magician. I spent months at another place that couldn't care less about my health, just about billing. Dr Dorey has changed my ability to walk and work in less than 3 weeks, when others failed for 4 months.

Negative experience: I went for one visit and had nothing but trouble. The doctor told me I didn't have any arthritis, but never did an x-ray. Lucky for me that happened as I couldn't have afforded it since the price of a visit on the website was incredibly inaccurate. Communication is very poor about submissions to the insurance company. I did it myself and they couldn't respond to the one request from the insurance company regarding information I couldn't provide. I cannot get reimbursed and at this point don't expect to since it's been 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe how amazing Dr. Dorey is. I’ve gone to another …advantageous”health and wellness “ clinic in morgantown and Spineworks did more for helping and relieving my pain in three weeks than the former did in six months (why i stayed around for that long still baffles me) . Spineworks WANTS to help you to feel better quickly as possibly , also without raking your pocket/insurance . I highly suggest this practice to everyone experiencing back pain or discomfort because they genuinely care about you as a patient and person.

Fantastic experience: My lower back feels better than it has in the last year! I've had back problems on and off for years and nobody has ever helped to relieve the pain so fast. Dr. Dorey takes the time to explain what's going on with your body and gives you realistic plan of action to get you moving again. They're get you in quickly and I've never had to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to a spine specialist who had me get three injections in my back, which didn't help at all. Telling me that I had to have back surgery. Started going to Spineworks the last part of August and Dr. Dorey has done wonders for me, I'm able to walk better and longer without hurting like I was before seeing him. I'm so happy with the results and can't wait to go to work again because I was in so much pain and unable to work. Can't believe a specialist told me that I needed back surgery.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of going to the chiropractor until I started going here. Dr. Dorey explains what he’s doing and makes sure I’m comfortable before he does anything. He isn’t pushy, gives you tools to help yourself, and genuinely wants to help people. My job puts a lot of strain on my neck and back and I always feel 1,000 times better after a session. I also appreciate how easy it is to schedule through text and that the visits are quick and concise. Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Dorey changed my mind! I've always been a bit apprehensive and even nervous when it came to thinking about going to the chiropractor. I'm so glad I went my first appointment I learned more about my back then I have my entire life. Unfortunately I started dealing with back pain in middle school and I'm now 30 years old. After an x-ray Not only was I explained visually what was going on but then shown physically. Which I appreciated so much. Being able to ask questions and have conversations with a doctor can feel like a blessing in itself a lot of the time. But I receive that every time at spineworks. After my first visit in the morning I was a bit sore but by the afternoon I felt like I had a whole new back (almost) the amount of pain I was dealing with I would have been happy to keep compared to what I've been dealing with for so long. But nope second visit I leave feeling even better. And my third visit I noticed things that were sore on my body my back that I hadn't noticed before because of the other intense pain I had dealt with. No issues there though because Dr.Dorey and I immediately discussed and worked on that! If only all Dr offices for everything were like this. I can't recommend Dr.Dorey enough. I am back to playing with my kids!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dorey is an amazing person and was very helpful with solving the issues I have with my lower back. I’ve had lower back pain for the past year and it progressively got worse. Also, working at home due to COVID-19 didn’t help it much. After, my first visit with Dr. Dorey, my lower back pain was basically gone. I went for a couple visits afterwards, but just one visit can make a huge difference like it did for me.

I walked into the office looking pretty pitiful and could hardly stand upright. He knew exactly what to do. I had 4 appointments with him and I have not taken any medication since the fourth treatment. I am back to living my life with very little pain and doing things I thought I wouldn't be able to do again. I am so very grateful for Dr. Dorey for giving me my life back. Fantastic experience: Dr. Dorey is great! He is professional, listens to you as you describe your issues and fixes the root of the problem. He goes further to provide ways for you to make changes in your daily life to help prevent issues from reoccurring. He fixed an issue that I have had with my neck and back for years. My issues were debilitating to the point where I was losing sleep and couldn’t walk, drive or breathe without pain. I saw spine specialists, physical therapists, took various heavy medications - none permanently helped. Dr. Dorey worked with me around my busy schedule to find the root of the problems and fix my issues. I am forever grateful!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Dorey is a great one. He’s not going to sell you stuff, or tell you there’s a quick fix (unless there is). He may tell you hard truths, like you’ll have to stretch to feel better long term. What he won’t do is tell you to endlessly come back for treatments, those chiropractors are milking it. Dr. Dorey wants to fix your back. If he can do it, he will help you do it. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Never having a need for a chiropractor, I was extremely skeptical... I incurred a lower back injury, doing an every day activity and was recommended to Dr. Dorey at Spineworks. Dr. Dorey listened to my symptoms, did a comprehensive assessment and provided a treatment plan that included activity 'outside' his office to not be a 'forever' patient. After my treatments, I feel better than ever, each activity within my treatment, I was informed what he was doing and why, and how I will benefit. The check-in process is easy, scheduling is flexible and staff is professional.

My problem was more of an orthopedic problem and Dr. Dorney didn’t waste my time or money trying to fix something he can’t fix, which I very much appreciated. But Dr. Dorney was able to align my neck and back which others have not been able to accomplish.

Fantastic experience: I had frequent headaches and debilitating migraines for a long time. I work in the healthcare field, and was always reluctant to try a chiropractor. I am so glad I turned to Dr. Dorey on the suggestion of many friends. I have been migraine and headache free from the first visit. This was almost a month ago. His comprehensive work-up and x-rays releived all apprehension I had. The stretching, take home exercises, and adjustments have worked...period. Fantastic experience: Dr. Dorey is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. In addition to being a great practitioner, he genuinely cares about his patients. He has helped me with disc issues that have plagued me for years. During acute bouts with my back, he has made himself available after hours and on weekends. I believe without his help, I would have had at least 2 back surgeries. His knowledge and strength enables him to stretch and adjust me like no other chiropractor. If you are in pain his treatments are better than any medicine or heating pad. I highly recommend him and his rates are extremely reasonable.
