Fantastic experience: I Love going to the Functional Medical Institute to buy my Kingdom Fuel, which is a clean protein meal replacement shake. I all so get there Kingdom Candy which has 15 Grams on protein and 8 grams of fiber. They make healthy food taste great. I love the lady's at the front counter they are always so helpful and kind.

I didn't have much hope left. And I was blown away when they diminished to 1or 2 a day. That was several months ago. Now I maybe have 2 a month and I barely know I'm having one. Negative experience: This is regarding ordering supplements. Their online store shows that items are in stock, and when you place an order, it says that your item has shipped. However, I placed and order for an item I needed quickly, and a few days later I learned that the item was NOT in stock and was NOT shipped. It was on back order for 8 weeks. I only learned this because several days went by and I had not been provided with a tracking number. I emailed support and they told me the product was out of stock and on back order, and had never actually shipped. This put me in a situation where I had to find another seller to order from, and pay for expedited shipping. I am thankful that I was refunded my purchase price. That is the reason for two stars instead of one. But if I had known it was out of stock, I could have avoided this in the first place. Please do not mislead people on your online store.

Positive experience: well, I must have called about 7 times to buy the detox kit. a lady kept passing me to someone else, at the end it did work out. but who she transferred me to was not informed on to how to do everything. someone kept wanting me to purchase online. I could not do this, there were no options that worked to buy a vanilla and chocolate one and to get the 2 free shaker bottles. very unorganized for your big detox and wish Jacob was working to help me. maybe next time. They also gave me two different amounts for the sale.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff! The doctors are so patient and answer questions in very easy to understand explanations and are willing to discuss a variety of ways to get you and your body operating at peak performance! Never judgmental when you’re stuck, just very helpful and encouraging! I love this place! We drive 2 hours for our in person visits when needed and zoom call the other. Drs Mark and Michele are very accommodating. Icing on the cake is I’m down 25 pounds and counting.

Positive experience: Staff is amazing! Even with a weird computer issue not finding me in computer for my appointment , they were so friendly and calm and assured me that I would be seen and no problem. I didn't wait at all! I actually showed up 30 min early for my 8am appointment and they were open! Then they just swooped into action and teamwork was incredible to assemble my chart and started taking me back and all! I mean awesome! Since insurance does not pay for any part of services, I think the only recommendation I would have would be to communicate patient cost plans and product costs and lab fees ahead of the appointment for planning purposes. I don't know what goes into being a provider that accepts Care Credit it is nice for the customers to be able to have 6mo to a year to pay off with no interest. I would also recommend communication regarding breakdown for the consultation fee and that does not include any services or products. The front staff did give me discount on the supplements and recommended natural medicines. It is not expensive in viewing how much healthcare things are and the value of your health! But I was a little surprised at the bill at end of first visit. I am not saying it isn't worth it, just a little hard to figure out where to pull money from since I don't like to use credit cards and have debt. I guess I was expecting more of setting up my patient payment plan like the plans advertised on the website and it would be inclusive for labs and products etc. It was only my first visit so maybe that will be done after lab results are received, I wasn't really informed. However, I can say their whole office is incredibly fast and responsive to calls and questions! My situation is slightly different as I will be out of the country for 2 months just days after first appt, so that maybe where the difference is. I know I can call and find out and I will do so, I would just recommend having more of that discussion at the appointment ahead of time and also to send more information about appointment in the reminders like to fast and not eat and have only water etc due to taking labs. Only because of the minimal recommendations is why I gave 4/5 stars. Overall their office is incredible!!! Their staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and supportive! Dr. Michelle is thorough and listens well and definitely focuses on whole body and health. You will not feel like a number or just an illness overall, they truly see you as a whole person and their whole goal is to look at every area to balance your health and get your life back!!! I highly recommend!!! I am truly hopeful after many years that I will feel better and be able to live an active life and be balanced medically, emotionally, and healthy! I am very excited! Thank you! I look forward to my journey and I will definitely stay the course with them!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dr. Mark and Michelle since 2022. What I enjoy is the one-on-one attention to my preventive health plan and the focus on my longevity. I enjoy the action steps they are taking to help me live longer and not react to a health issue that arises but spend time on the prevention side which is different from other doctors' approach. I recently was seen by a doctor who mentioned I have a small problem and I asked what I should be doing to prevent it from worsening. His response was, "Just keep doing what you're doing, it's just part of aging and we will deal with it in a few years." What he was saying was, Ill schedule you for surgery in the future. MDs are reactive, with no prevention, and my opinion today is that prevention is the answer to longevity and Dr. Mark and Michelle have answers!

Negative experience: The people seemed very nice at first, and the product does what it is advertised to do. I felt really great and appreciated the health assistance. However, when I found an office closer to my home, and wanted to change doctors, Functional Medical refused to provide me a full copy of my billing unless I paid them $50. When I told them that wasn't legal, they sent me a spreadsheet showing only payments I had made (which I can get from the bank). They also demand a $50 payment to provide my medical records to my new doctor. I RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THESE PEOPLE -- find another more professional organization!!

Learned everything about nutrition that I had never been told and how poisonous the Standard American Diet was for your health! Managed to lose 50lbs in a little over 7 months and all the minor health issues disappeared…amazing what eating healthy will do for the human body! Fantastic experience: I haven't asked him to stitch me up yet, but he has helped me understand how I need to eat, supplement and exercise to be healthy: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. He understands the most important thing, kinda a house of cards, if you pull spiritual out (that Christ created, ordered and sustains all things) then nothing else really works. But the others are really important in living out our only purpose for existing, to glorify God and enjoy him forever. He helped me through a ROUGH fight with Covid teaching me to support my immune system (wish they had recommended Ivermectin but he got me through it when I know godly Drs who wouldn’t return phone calls) and long Covid breathing problems with natural remedies. They never fell for the Covid craziness or required masks.

Particularly, Jacob and Christina respond to our needs and requests for information and supplements promptly, efficiently and in a kind, respectful manner.
