Negative experience: Be aware if you like ice cold water for bathing your dog, they don’t use hot water or warm water and and they use dish detergent soap for shampoo. they use the same toothbrush on every dog, , that can give dogs mouth diseases…Groom Al does give nice haircuts but they’re cutting corners that are not good for the animals. And that was the main reason I stopped working there besides others. Matt, the owner is a total sweetheart. I don’t understand why they’re doing this. It must be coming from Trish.

Negative experience: I took my dog here a couple days ago , I spotted a flea and my dog has never had fleas before it had to of been from this place … the blonde lady Trish was so nasty and rude , had no clue what she was talking about…..NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BRING OUR BABIES

Negative experience: DO NOT Bring your dog here !! they use DAWN DISH SOAP which is terrible for your dogs skin !! they bathe your dog with freezing cold water , they use the same toothbrush on every dog, , that can give dogs mouth diseases…. there was roaches and fleas in the back !!!!!! Negative experience: It's hard to write this review because I have been a loyal customer of Paw Depot for years. I really appreciate Matt and his wife who are always so kind. The last time I dropped off my pet for a grooming service I was not happy with how it turned out. My husband dropped her off and I asked him to please explain in detail where not to trim as I was wanting to do a high top ponytail on my little girl (I also sent my husband a picture, on what to show the groomer, so he had an idea) I had been letting her hair grow for a long time to be able to put her in bows etc. she came back all of her bangs were cut off, as well as the top of her hair. I was upset, but hey it grows back, not the end of the world. Yesterday we went back for another grooming service, I allowed her hair to grow back again. This time I went myself to not only explain but to show where I didn't want trimmed, how long I wanted it etc. The groomer was kind and nice, but asked if I could speak in Spanish. I know I look Latina, and I speak Portuguese, but I'm my first language is English. Still I dried my best to speak Portuguese/Spanish as the languages are very similar. I also showed with my hands where not to cut, and nodded my head no. I called to check in on her because it had been over 3 hours. After some time we got a call back and was told to pick her up. Her bangs where gone again, he didn't cut her bangs nicely, he chopped them straight across, it looks sloppy, all the top of her hair was gone again. I asked for a 7 trim length, ended up having to get a 5 trim because he said a 7 would be too hard on a Yorkie. He brings Bella out with his headphones holding his phone, obviously on a call. I am not trying to be harsh, but it just seems like the outside world has because more important then work during work hours. It leads me to think; were you paying attention? Do you remember our conversation. Not every owner wants their dogs to look the same. There are different types of dog haircuts, the cuts are basically all alike. I would totally understand if i said, "oh just do what you believe would look best," but I communicated, I showed him on Bella where not to cut. It just makes me upset. I am well aware that her hair will grow back yet again, she is healthy and alive and that's the most important. It's just unfortunate to have the same mistake happen again. I work in the beauty industry, and listening to your clients is key!

Fantastic experience: We have been getting our pet food from The Paw Depot for years and pick up a couple of toys for our dog every so often. The Paw Depot has Quality Dog food since our dog was adopted and we found out our dog had stomach issues and had to be on a grain free diet. The Vetanerian recommended some brands of foods to try and was not able to find it at our pet store near our house. The first time I walked , I thought they had the best toys. The staff was great and very helpful. It's definitely a hidden gem for pet owners.

Negative experience: They dont have professional people to groom the dogs. I brought my dog there to get a haircut, instead they shaved all the hair off his skin leaving it red and irritated for 2 weeks. They also cut the hair around his eye, his eye was bleeding. Very unprofessional and i would leave 0 stars if i could. Please dont go here.

Like the very best of old school neighborhood businesses from way back when, where owner knows the clients and accommodates clients' needs. Located near a few restaurants and Publix so you can get stuff done while fluffy is getting getting a little less... fluffy.... they also have a large selection for cats. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Bring in your dog for shopping and treats!

Positive experience: I have a mixed opinion for my dog's nail trimming experience. I visited this Pet shop a few months ago for a dog nail clipping. My dog's nails were extremely overgrown and they needed to be shortened. The groomer ahcieved this goal. But she went in like a jack hammer and sawed the nails very fast and aggressively causing my dog to shriek and scream in pain. My dog is now traumatized from this experience. He will not trust any dog professional to go near his nails without screaming in a crazy manner. So I am satisfied my dog walked out with short nails but I feel terrible . So.. that's my mixed review.

Negative experience: I took my toy poodle here for grooming and it was the worst experience not only they didn’t do what I asked for they took 5 hours when I was told it was only gonna take 2-3 hours so I do not recommend it.

After I was looking around and an employee named Nina was particularly friendly and kind. I greatly enjoyed my experience here and will be returning.

Fantastic experience: Just recently adopted a goldendoodle who has experienced traumatic events in her life. She is slowly but surely getting used to being around people who truly love her. I get scared bringing her out in public because I am not sure how she is going to react to new people. The store has such an easy going feel and the staff is outstanding. Nina helped Petunia and I pick out the perfect collar, leash and dog food. Thank you everyone again!

Positive experience: Smaller more personal pet store I use a specific small dog food which they carry but in small bags but were very accommodating and ordered large bag for me. Also offer pet grooming "Trisha" does a great job and is very affectionate

Fantastic experience: My chihuahua is an absolute nightmare to trim nails. Originally went to the big name stores and they said they "just can't do it"... Brought her to Paw Depot and they handled it! Great selection of products and the owner was very friendly... He even gave me suggestions on why my dog was itching and methods to try. They also got her in same day which was great. We Will be back!

Fantastic experience: Matt and the girls are WONDERFUL. Matt really knows his stuff. He helped me transition my fur babies to raw diet and also gave me some samples to try for my one picky eater. When I have issues or a question Matt is my goto man! :) LOVE this place! :) They ALSO have grooming and other products that I typically purchase online which surprised me (good quality items - which also shows me they know their stuff.) They are personable, kind and gives everyone their undivided attention. I also like that they are in my neighborhood, keep track of my orders, gives rewards and most importantly: knows their stuff. Fantastic experience: I met Matt a few years ago and was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Gradually I have been buying more products and obtaining more knowledge about what is best for me fur kids. Negative experience: I will never buy from this place the so called manager that delivered dog food to my house took out my mailbox and promised that he will come back and fix it it's been a week and my mailbox is not fixed yet......

Negative experience: It was our second and last visit to The Paw Depot. First of all it took almost 4 hours instead of promised 2-3 hours, despite making an appointment one day prior grooming. In the end they did not do what was asked. Furthermore one of the nail was cut to blood, and they managed to cut the skin under tail and on one of the legs. Luckily the cuts were not dangerous and no medical assistance was needed. However, it was obvious that the groomer was in a rush and did her work carelessly and without any effort.

Positive experience: Good but not great service. The prices are a bit over prices for the quality of work they do. I have received less expensive service with more attention to detail in other location.

Fantastic experience: Great upscale pet store conveniently located near 95 and where I live. Best selection of high-end dog foods, unique toys and dog apparel. Super friendly owner and staff, and the best groomer I've used here. If you like to support your local businesses, and don't like the 'Big Box' retain pet chains, definitely check out PawDepot.. Oh, and they deliver!

Fantastic experience: Excellent, local establishment...they take all the time you need explaining all of their dog food products to help you find the one that is right for your pet. If your pet doesn't like something you bought or is allergic to it, they take it back for a full refund. They give you plenty of samples of food and treats. So personable!! Matt is wonderful...always gracious and helpful....he wants the best for your pet! They deliver too which is unheard of in Boca!!!! Love to give local, smaller shops business and they return their appreciation by taking time with each and every customer. I pop in on the fly asking if they can trim Quinn's nails and they are always quick to help out right away! Thanks Matt and Company!!!

Negative experience: 8-29-15. Waste of time and money! I brought my dog in for grooming. I was told it would take 45 minutes. Over two hours later and they still hadn't even cut his hair yet. I couldn't wait any longer and paid $40 to have someone take over two hours to give my tiny dog a bath. They were very rude as if they were doing me a favor. DO NOT bring your dog here if you want good service in a timely manner. I have never ever written a bad review for any business but this place is terrible. I was ready to purchase my Fromm dog food from them as well. Good thing I didn't because The Paw Depot is HIGHLY OVERPRICED. I found the exact same bag of food online 25% cheaper with free shipping delivered to my doorstep.

Fantastic experience: FINALLY!!! A local pet supply store that carries my favorite raw and grain-free dog foods! And if they don't have it on the shelf, they will order it for me!!! They really know pet nutrition, too!
