Fantastic experience: My son is treated like family when he comes for allergy shots. Dr. Kakkar has help with his asthma as well and it has given me great peace of mind. I am very grateful the staff here take their time and are super friendly. It has made a world of difference for my sons health.

Negative experience: Hi!!! I came by few months ago but I been busy and haven’t had a chance to do the review, but if i could give this 0 stars I would but since not everyone is bad then I’ll leave it as one for starters I want to say the staffs are amazing inside, the Drs and nurses and everyone inside but the office receptionist are sooo horrible. I was in the lobby when this Hispanic family came in, all they did was sit down and the parents went to go sign in but the office lady was being so rude to them, she was acting like the most sarcastic person to them and treated them very poorly and this isn’t the first time I’ve seen her do that. People from where she’s from, she speaks to them in Spanish so calmly and tries to help them but with others she treats them very poorly and very racist and I don’t know how she even managed to get the job because I love this clinic and I love the Nurse Practitioner who helps me as well as the Drs inside but these office receptionist needs to learn how to treat patients respectfully because doing it constant isn’t her just having a bad day, at that point it’s stereotype and very racist and it’s makes the clinic look bad so I don’t know what the Spanish girl thinks she is because she’s not top tier and I used to be an office receptionist many years before and never witnessed anything like this. She’s a Spanish Karen at this point and heard her overcharging patients copays with a few of the families that come in and guess what?!? They’re Hispanic!!! Crazy…right and what’s crazier is she’s Hispanic as well!!! I would even take her place if I could to teach her how to treat others with respect, on all my appointments I make sure to avoid her and wait for the others even though they are new but at least it’s not that girl because she’s not a women, because the meaning of a women is to be mature and treat others with respect not immature and think you can abuse and have control over people because you make the appointments. Her name was Seomary or something with S and a bit middle tone.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Prana Health for 3 year’s. I have never met the most caring and concerned Dr’s such as Dr. Bunao and Dr. Kakarr. Ready to listen to any questions and concerns you may have. If there’s a problem they will go above and beyond to see that it is taken care of. If they don’t have the solution to the problem they both will refer you to someone who does. Just absolutely amazing Doctors. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to them.

Negative experience: Some of the staff are nice but the way this place lacks organization is ridiculous they continuously try to schedule appointments for procedures or test we’ve already done and are waiting for results for. Negative experience: I have been giving this office more than enough grace and understanding they have been short staff and rotating staff from other offices; With that being said I have came to multiple scheduled appointments and no one was there to administer the allergy shots. This is not the first, second, third, nor the fourth time I’m am completely feed up with the unprofessionalism of this establishment. His wife is answering the phones and barely understands English, she cant give clear answers to any questions being asked, she is incorrectly inputting appointments on the wrong days in the system so when you show up to your appointment they telling you it was a different date then what was discussed on the the phone. No one calls and reaches out to you if a doctor leaves early just have the patients come and can’t service them; which is an inconvenience to us because we have to take time off of work.

Negative experience: This place is POORLY MANAGED!!!! They switch policies every other day and fail to notify patients until they come in for they appointment and turn them away for not having things they need due to a policy update they fail to tell their patients. The allergy clinic sucks badly! Dr.Kakkar is the worst and I won't take my dead dog to this place. They turned my child away 3 times due to last minute policy changes they made on a Monday and fail to notify me and my appointment was scheduled on Wednesday (all 3 times), but they can call and text 1,000 times about appointment reminders. This place is a disgrace. Please find a better place to take your loved ones. I tried and tried with them. I have asked to speak with a manager and be provided with policies and procedures updates in writing and none was ever brought to me. They can send a discharge email less than 2 seconds but couldn't notify patients, that's insane to me. I wish this place the best of luck. The turn over rate here is unbelievable, we've been coming here for 3-5 months and they have had no staff to all new people every month. Just a sad piss poor place.

Negative experience: I had a sleep study at Pravna and it was the worst! The lady who was monitoring me talked on the phone from 10pm -1am. Once finished, she proceeded to asked me if I am always this restless, I said no. The next day I call the office and told them what happened and a staff member called me back from the office. The staff member told me they talked to the woman who monitored me and said she mentioned talking to a manager about my sleep study. I said no ,she was talking to 2 different people and I know by the conversations neither was a manager. Now, she may have called the manager at some point, I can't say she didn't. But not the 2 conversations I’ve heard, she wasn’t talking no manager in neither one of those conversations . The guy she was on the phone with was on speaker phone and they were laughing and it sound more like they where courting by the conversation , this was not professional. So when someone from the office call me bk I feel they are taking up for her and making it seem like I'm lying. I told them the lady who monitored me is not telling the whole truth. They kept making excuses for her. Then, the next morning she pulled the stuff off my face fast and I said ouch, in which she said sorry. I didn't realize until I got home and looked in the mirror, that I had a bright red mark from when she snatched the electric piece off my face on my cheek area under my eye. I took a pic and sent it to my daughter and showed my husband. I still have pics as proof, as well. I told the lady from the office about my face and I have pics as proof, and she couldn't say anything but sorry. I feel like they are not listening to me and making excuses for the unprofessionalism I experienced. If my sleep study reading is off, I will be very upset because I paid a $120 co pay. I will not repay this if I have to do this all over. I only had like 3 1/2 to maybe 4 hours of sleep before the lady woke me up around 5:20-5:30am when it ended. I have talked to others about their sleep study experiences and there’s were far from mine. They all mentioned it was suppose to be quiet etc.. which I do agree. Especially since I paid $120 co pay for this horrible experience. The least someone can do is listen to my concerns, as this does involve my health. I am not happy at all.

Negative experience: I fell ill and was running a fever the evening before my appointment. Called that evening and left a message that I needed to cancel my appointment in the morning (first appointment time after they open) and the reason why. I never received a response from anyone confirming that they received my message. I received a letter about a week later saying that I was being released from the clinic due to a no call/no show. I called the clinic to speak to them about the letter because their attendance policy clearly states that you will be released as a patient after missing 2 visits with no notice. At this point, I was also informed that they expected me to pay $50.00 for the missed appointment as well. I ended up having to speak to the office manager to get everything straightened out and get rescheduled, all while being spoken to like I'm a child and feeling like I was being reprimanded for missing a day of school. There were several times I had to wait inappropriate amounts of time after my scheduled appointment to be seen. Dr. Kakkar was always nice enough to me, very knowledgeable, and attentive, which is the main reason I stayed with the clinic. However, there were many occasions, that Dr. Kakkar could be seen and heard yelling at his staff about things they had done or were doing incorrectly and belittleing them in front of patients and their co-workers. Extremely unprofessional. The final occurrence that brought me to decide to leave the clinic happened today. I missed their reminder call for my appointment for tomorrow. I tried calling back 16 times and only 2 of those times did I get an answer. Both of those times, the person that answered, hung up on me. The 17th time, I finally got through to someone who didn't hang up. I explained to her what had happened and her reason for the lack of phone being answered and me being hung up on was because they are short staffed. She was snippy and rude with me as well. So, being short staffed is a reason to hang up on people and to be rude now? At that point, I was so angry I told her to just cancel my appointment and I will just get a referral for a different doctor. She did not attempt to retain me as a patient at all. Her response was that I would be charged $50.00 for canceling the appointment and that the fee will have to be paid before they will send my records to a new provider. I wish them the best of luck, because they are going to need it. They definitely will not be getting any recommendations from me toward their practice.

Negative experience: I’ve been calling for the past 3 hours and I keep getting a dialtone. I’m not able to get anyone on the phone. It’s very frustrating as far as the experience goes. The people are great but the fact that I’m not able to reach anyone is even more frustrating. I shouldn’t have to drive there to get this information through to someone I’ve been calling because During my sons visit they sent him some medication but it still needs insurance approval and I live on a fixed income so it’s not always easy for me to just go when somebody doesn’t follow through. They need to do a better way of answering the phone calls there shouldn’t be a reason why I haven’t been able to get through for the past 3 hours.

Negative experience: First off the doctors/ residents/PAs/nursing staff and front desk are all very kind and try to be as helpful as possible. The problem is the outsourcing appointment line and billing department....If you call to cancel They won't cancel your appointment. Then call you to confirm this canceled appointment. When you inform them that you called last week they will say there is no record of this and bully you with threats of 50 dollar cancelation fee if you don't come. Their billing department is outsourced and makes multiple mistakes on the cpt codes they bill to your insurance. It is also impossible to get ahold of the outsourced billing department. Beware to current patients if you leave a bad review they will drop you as a patient.

Negative experience: After it taking nearly a year to arrange an appointment, I’ve had three of various kinds. Only one had less than a 25 minute wait. Just came from one where I had such a wait to see the intake person and never saw a doctor after waiting and hour and five minutes after my appointment time. The one visit where I didn’t have a wait was for testing. During that session, the practice manager (? who may also be the head doctor’s wife?) was heard yelling at office workers on the phone continually for about 10 minutes about some scheduling issue. It was super unprofessional. All this said, when I’ve actually met with staff and provider, the experience is very positive. There’s a lot of care and attention to detail from the people there. I’ll be happy to update this review when they can get their scheduling right.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional practice, phone service is horrible clinic hardly answers phone and when they do they make claims as to call you back and never do. Sleep studies are pleasant and night time staff are nice but results take weeks even months to come in if they even do and lord don't suffer from sleep apnea as bad as I do because you'll be prescribed a CPAP that will never come. You may die in your sleep before you receive your machine. Sleep study June 6th was told I would receive a phone call over the next few days to schedule a follow up and get results. Was never called. 2 1/2 weeks later I called and office didn't even know I have a sleep study. Finally got an appointment and was told I had real bad obstructive sleep apnea and needed a CPAP now. I was told it would take a few days to get an insurance approval. Again, I was never contacted about anything I had to call over and over , and over and told numerous times I'd get a call back which never came. Finally I got thru to a rep that scheduled me for the 3rd to receive my machine and we'll wouldn't you know it's been pushed out yet again until the 15th. I think I may die of sleep apnea before the machine ever comes. Funny thing is they want to schedule all these other appointments for me along with a 2nd sleep study, yeah right complete the first treatment before we start others. I mean what good is anymore test if you can't complete what's already been done. Jesus please help me! I just want a good night sleep!

Negative experience: After reading the tactless and unprofessional responses to criticism from the practice, I will not bring my child here. There is a proper way to respond to unfavorable opinions. No one needs to know about former employees and the cause of their termination. Also, when a patient expressed dissatisfaction with services , you don't attack them, instead address the concern and find a resolution.

Negative experience: My child was referred to this clinic by their primary care physician. We went to the initial appointment where several test were ordered. I somehow missed his follow-up appointment. I kept contacting the clinic where no one answered the phone so I sent an email. I started to receive an answer back stating they no longer take my child’s insurance. So I asked how I could receive their records in which I was informed to basically stop emailing them. Ms. Diggs, you missed your child's appointment before we stopped taking your insurance. You were asked to contact the office for records as they cannot be emailed due to HIPAA issues. We had emailed all patients about policy that we have stopped accepting United. It is never a good idea to block your physicians's office emails.

Amit is a disgruntled employee fired for making unwanted solicitations to his female colleagues. Prana Health stands by its commitment to not allow any sexual misconduct by any employee.

Fantastic experience: My visit to this office was pleasant and professional. The staff is very patient and accommodating. I called to reschedule three times. The third time I called, I asked for my original appointment date. From the front desk staff to the technicians, everyone appeared to love their job. Dr Kakkar is absolutely great. He explained and then allowed time for questions. Thank you Prana Health.

Fantastic experience: These pulmonologists are by far the best docs I've ever been to and life savers, *literally*. I've had asthma since I was a kid, but during 2020, I had bloody covid pneumonia twice and as a result suffered long term lung damage and debilitating asthma. They've been patient and dedicated to helping me as much as possible and now I'm finally able to *breathe* thanks to the right medicine and their treatment.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by PA Reindy Hearn who is always very professional and investigative when it comes to diagnosing a health problem. I highly recommend her as a point of contact a d highly thank her for the assistance that she has given me.

Positive experience: Dr. Kakkar and Dr. Hearn are great doctors. My son has been going there 2 yrs for his asthma. The doctors are caring and made sure my son has everything he needs. Both doctors gave me their personal phone numbers (1st set of Drs to do that) and said call anytime. They always call bk within 10 mins. I really appreciate all they do. Oan: Ms. Catina seemed a bit rude and inpatient when testing my son today. I didn't care for her choice of words when she talks to a child. As we were finishing up she more friendly.

Positive experience: Check in quick and easy. Staff is very professional and friendly. Doctor appointment time were prompt and on time. Dr. Karkar was very pleasant, caring, concerned and thorough in his examination.

Negative experience: Mrs. Katrina's attention when she performs the test is very, very bad, she is rude, she has no patience and she yells. I am learning English. I ask her to please speak to me slowly and she responds very rudely! DON'T YOU KNOW how to spell your name? It is aggressive. I do not recommend that you visit that place. I had a terrible experience. the appointment was at 10:30 am and he attended me at 11:00 am. There is always a lot of delay to attend, they are always 45 minutes of waiting !!

Negative experience: My appointment was at 1:30 was there for over an hour. Had to wait for right at 30 to 35 mins before being seen. Then got seen an when to check out where there was the most rude lady. Whole her eyes the whole time try to check my son out and told me I had to wait for a print out of appointments. Wouldn't do business with this place or the other location every again. They need to understand treat me the way we would want to be treated or your family treated. When your rude to kids you practice has no place for my kids at all

Fantastic experience: There is not a long wait time. It begins at the window when you check in with exceptional service. The superb service continues with Dr. Karkar and his staff. They all have tremendous knowledge and they are there to help you with your medical issues. I highly recommend Prana Health. I am very blessed to have been seen there and to continue having Dr. Karkar and his staff be my health advocates.

Fantastic experience: I have been to both locations and service was great at both. Didn't have to wait very long and everyone was very nice and helpful. I really liked the lady that did my Breathing Tests. She was very nice and pleasant. Made the whole experience comfortable. The Dr. was quick to speak with me and explained everything in a way I could understand and was very pleasant as well. I would recommend.
