Fantastic experience: Smooth experience, great team. The lobby atmosphere is so calming and neat. I worked with Daniel on my mental health, who does a great job of finding root causes. He seems to be very prepared, yet asks questions that open up new aspects of my psyche and is willing to follow where that takes the conversation (as opposed to focusing on presumptions).

Positive experience: We took our daughter for EMDR, Jessica Bradley was wonderful as far as working with our daughter. Our daughter did not benefit, though sadly from EMDR she really didn’t participate.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for better help, a better team, or a more healing experience. The front desk is always very kind, respectful, and responsive and my counselor is so insightful, makes me feel like she’s eager to help me, and I often leave feeling surprisingly lighter and better — if not in safe deep thought. I see Arcadia Counseling as truly giving my life back to me, when I was so lost.

Negative experience: I was not impressed with this place. Staff was nice. Facility is nice. We went to four sessions in each session we questioned if the next session was gonna be any better or offer any more advice or insight on what we needed. The therapist was really good at listening, but offered no input or advice, mostly metaphors. Granted, we should have taken the hint after the first session when he said that we were a lot to take on, and he had no idea where to offer advice. After the last session, he sent us an email saying that he couldn’t proceed to see us anymore because he had a bias. When we responded to his email questioning what the bias was or to clarify, we got nothing in return after paying for four sessions. Discuss our situations with coworkers on mine, and after hearing the therapist name, my coworker said that his name sounded familiar and thought she had seen him previously in a different facility. She pulled up her records and sure enough it was him. She said she had similar experiences with him and requested her money back from his previous employer. Maybe some of their other therapists are great, but we didn’t have any luck.

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience at Arcadia Counseling. Ryan Engar treated me for about 1.5 years and the only reason I stopped coming was due to moving 3.5 hours away. Ryan was so attentive and met me where I was at. I cannot say enough good things! The front office staff was always kind and cared about my well being as well. Always professional and genuine. I will miss coming here weekly!

Fantastic experience: Arcadia is the kind of place you go to and you know it’s right. There is always a calm and kind atmosphere that feels separate from the rest of the world. It’s always clean and everyone is so nice and welcoming. Jen Long is truly an amazing person who does everything she can to help, I don’t know where I would be without her but I do know that the world could use more of her. She is easy to talk to and truly cares. I was very hesitant about starting therapy and I put it off for a long time. This place is what brought me out of those fears and I am all the better person for it.

Negative experience: Arcadia over charged me and when I asked if they would be refunding the difference, they said they would ask their billing department. It's been almost a month and nothing. They just have an extra $140 of mine because they won't refund my money.

Negative experience: Absolute joke of an institution. Do not go here. I was discussing payment with them and figuring out a solution to false information given and out of pocket payments issued to me because of that false information and they decided to charge it anyway, AS I WAS DISCUSSING THE INSURANCE AND BILLING ISSUE WITH THEM. They are money hungry and have 0 brain cells when it comes to customer service. Let us put them out of business and get them out of our community!! A pitiful, pitiful place. It is really too bad because the counselors and therapists are great. Specifically Will!
Sorry for the issues you're dealing with. We have some pretty great therapists and we work hard to insure they are paid for their services. We offer payment plans as a courtesy and it's unfortunate that we weren't able to come to terms. We wish you the best!

Fantastic experience: I've only met with one psychologist but she's been amazing. The customer service is also very good here, the receptionists have all been very nice and easy to interact with. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for about 8 months now. Bryson Lind, is an amazing therapist. I was originally coming here for couples therapy. He provides us with so many relationship tools to better help us communicate with more compassion, understanding, empathy and curiosity. Fantastic experience: We’ve worked with Cyndy Garrison for the last few months and our time with her has been truly transformational. We’ve used her services for both couple’s and individual therapy and we cannot recommend her enough. She is a consummate professional who is clearly dedicated to being an excellent therapist. She strives to use evidenced-based practices. And yet, she is such a warm and welcoming person. It feels easy to open up with her. She strikes the perfect balance of listening and validating one’s experience, while then gently challenging beliefs and pointing out opportunities for improvement. We have seen massive steps forward in our marital communication and mental health since we started working with her. The tough part is getting on her schedule, though. It’s no secret that she’s incredible, and so there can be a long wait to get a regular appointment with her. We waited a few months for ours.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing a very intense crossroad in my life. I was challenged to do something I would have never had the courage to do on my own. The patience, listening ear, wise council and complete confidence from my therapist literally saved my relationship! My counselor (Emree) also cleared her schedule to follow up with me the next day. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Tucker for over three months now and I can’t tell you how incredibly grateful I am for his knowledge, empathy and compassion. I’ve been in therapy for years for trauma and he is the first therapist that I feel really understands exactly how I feel and talks he shows me support and understanding every single time we meet.

Fantastic experience: With the reviews about the insurance, I also had a very different experience. Never had an issue with insurance or them trying to scam me or not provide excellent customer service. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Arcadia! I've been to both Lehi and Lindon location and both are so beautiful. I first saw Gina at the Lehi location and I absolutely loved her. I only switched because another therapist specialized in what I was wanting help for. Gina was so helpful, so kind! I would recommend her to anyone! I switched to Jennifer and she is equally as amazing!

Fantastic experience: Julie Holbrook did an excellent job of guiding me through my faith transition. When I left the LDS Church I felt overwhelmed, terrified, and desperately in need of help. Julie provided that help: she helped me find new perspectives, discover more about myself, and map my future faith-path. I am now a confident non-denominational Christian. I would highly recommend Arcadia Counseling and its therapists to anyone seeking guidance or help.

Negative experience: This awful place literally charged my card over 4 times for one single appointment I had. Not only did they do that but they’ve been HOUNDING me about paying a no show fee which makes me sick. I had called the day of my appointment to try and let them know I had to stay home with my sick baby and wouldn’t be making it in, no one answered the phone and when I finally got ahold of them later they basically told me I was lying. So ….
Sorry for the confusion Sierra. We're not seeing what you are referring to. As per the documents that you signed, we do have a fee for no shows since your therapist can't see another client during the time that was scheduled for you. Our contact history shows that've we've reached out many time to resolve this without being able to make contact with you. We hope you are able to find the help and answers you need.
