Fantastic experience: They are so sweet and kind. Have a great play area for the children and cartoons to watch. They listen to your concerns for your child and they don't make you feel dumb. They even reward our little ones before leaving the office.

Fantastic experience: Dr Walia has an amazing bedside manner. She made us feel at ease and comfortable in her practice. She answered our questions and took her time with us. My youngest never wanted to leave her waiting room. They've made every accommodation to make children of all ages comfortable! We HIGHLY recommend Dr Walia and her staff is helpful and kind.

Fantastic experience: After it was recommended our daughter see a GI and after research of several Dr.s, I am so very glad this was the place we decided on. She spent time with us and explained and discussed so much with us just in this first visit today and I believe we are finally getting answers we have been trying to get for a year. The drive is a little over an hour , but it's worth it! Dr. Walia and her staff are great, I highly recommend her , very ,very pleased thus far.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Walia enough! She is so kind and compassionate and took so much time with us. She helped my 3 1/2 year-old feel so comfortable at the appointment as well as my husband and myself. She made herself available to us after hours when we had follow up questions or needed something. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and so helpful! We drive from Athens to see her and it's totally worth it! Highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walia and her team show an extreme amount of compassion for their patients and families. We started seeing Dr. walia a little over 2 months ago and after a year long process with different doctors she finally found the solution to all my daughters symptoms. She took the time to carefully listen to my daughter and make her feel understood. We are so thankful for Dr. Walia and her staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wali and her group are very compationate and caring about each and everyone of their patients. They take their time and listen to what you have to say and don't rush you out just because of other patients. You may have to sit and wait for a bit for your time but you know when it is your turn she will not rush you out either. Gastro Health for Kids is the BEST!! We LOVE them!!

Fantastic experience: It is no secret why Dr. Wallia has so many awards for excellence. If you’re looking for a compassionate, through Pediatric Gastrologist, Dr. Wallia and her staff are hands down the best in the Gastrologist field of medicine.

Negative experience: Brisk and rude physician only concerned with paperwork and whether or not phreesia works. Didn't want to hear out any issues my child was having and immediately silenced my childs grandmother and immediately just said he was backed up and give him a laxative. Exactly the same thing she said about my younger child back at the beginning of the year for an entirely different issue. No concern for the 35 pounds worth of weight gain over a 2 month span, nothing. Laxative. Really needs better bedside manner, and to make sure all of the junk links sent out actually work before jumping on patients for not filling paperwork out prior to the appointment. A. All the links go straight to spam. B. Every single link sent out was for check-in. I still have not received a link that allows me to view ANY paperwork for me to digitally sign. I wish I could give a different set of stars to the office staff, they were very helpful and sweet.

Fantastic experience: Amazing doctors. One of two in my experience with my 3 year old that listens and cares, genuinely cares. Even made recommendations on who to change her pediatrician too because she is obviously autistic. Up until now I have been doing the leg work and brow beating to get her the care and treatment and diagnosis she needs. This doctor goes above and beyond just the reason that you are there and wants your child to live their best life.

Positive experience: Waited for an hour past our appt time before being seen. Once we were seen the person doing the weight and height didn't seem to be very kid friendly or have patience but the doctor was absolutely wonderful and super knowledgeable

Fantastic experience: Amazing first time patient experience. My son is 3 yrs old and after seeing our pediatrician with some gastro concerns we were advised to see a pediatric gastro specialist. I called Gastro Health for Kids and they were able to see us in the same week. Nice and organized at arrival. Facility is kid-friendly, toys in lobby, etc. Dr Walia is AMAZING. She is thorough. She is kind. She is great with kids and parents. She was an absolute answer to this mamas prayers. So grateful to have found her!!

Fantastic experience: This doctors office is the best. This is one of the first doctors office that not only looks like it's made for the kids the staff also show they are there for the kids. The doctor listened to my child but she also educated me and my husband by showing us what she was feeling and what it meant instead of just telling us. She is by far the best doctor and I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic experience: Our son had been seeing a Gastro doc in Braselton for months! The doctor may talk to him for 5 minutes if we were lucky and just give him ANOTHER prescription and we were out the door. My son, who is an Introvert finally fired the doctor himself! (He is 17) Our primary referred us the Dr. WALIA, she came in, talked to us, made us feel comfortable, welcomed and most important concerned about our son's health! She decided the best course of action and now we have a plan that will actually give us some ANSWERS! We are so happy we were referred to her and would most definitely refer her to everyone who is looking for a Peds Gastro Doctor. She is kind, caring, concerned, takes her time with patients, and listens!

Fantastic experience: If I could give 100 stars I would!! Dr. Walia was hands down the most personable doctor we have ever had an appointment with. I researched for hours trying to find the perfect GI doctor for my 15 year old, it was worth the time. She answered every question, took her time explaining even drawing out a picture and making sure my daughter didn’t have questions and we were both comfortable upon leaving. Labs were drawn right in the exam room. If you are looking for a pediatric GI doctor, don’t hesitate to see Dr. Walia! Weeks of worrying waiting for this appointment, we both left relieved and thankful for her time and knowledge. The office staff was also very friendly and professional!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walia and her NP, Nikki, are the absolute best! My 6 month old daughter had been having GI issues for over a month. Her pediatrician (whom we love!) referred her to a different pediatric GI. The first available appointment they had was over 3 months out. That wasn't acceptable, so I found Gastro Health for Kids and they got her in the next day. While we were there, Dr. Walia and Nikki made me feel like we were the only patients on their schedule - they took their time, asked questions, explained their thoughts and ideas, and provided exceptional care. They gave us a treatment plan and schedule a 2 week follow up to check in and see if further treatment would be needed. 48 hours after following their treatment plan, our daughter made progress that she had not made in over 4 weeks! Dr. Walia gave me peace of mind, reassurance, and courage to care and advocate for my daughter. I recommend Gastro Health for Kids to ANYBODY with pediatric GI needs. You will not find better care.

Fantastic experience: After many trips to useless ERs for them to run the same test, to have doctors not be interested in trying to find the cause of the severe abdominal pain my son was experiencing, we finally found Dr. Walia. She was immediately alarmed by the fact that he had lost 62lbs in less than 3 months, which didn’t seem to be of any importance to ER doctors, and she immediately began ordering test to try to determine what was going on. She has been extremely caring, patient, and determined to find an answer. She offered to help us with the 504 paperwork for school Since my son has missed so much school from being sick. She has called me to check to see how my son was feeling. She’s done everything she possibly can to make him feel more comfortable. We would not use another G.I. doctor ever.

Negative experience: I read all of the great reviews before scheduling an appointment with this office. I hope others really have had a great experience but ours was terrible. I am a foster parent of a 4 year old who has had digestive issues for quite some time now and he has even been seen and x-rayed at CHOA where nothing was found except constipation. Another foster mom that he was living with before moving back to my home actually brought him to his first appt here and I took him for his follow up appt. The Dr. was absolutely rude to me. Very judgmental and already had her mind made up about us and would not allow me to ask questions or even tell her any of his history. He is prone to constipation and we were there to try to figure out what is going on to help him out when we feel like we have tried everything. I wasn't asked to fill out anything regarding his history and there is nothing on his online chart. I have adult children. I have seen it all. I have had major digestive issue myself before a surgery helped me. So, I have some amount of knowledge and have never been so humiliated by a "Dr." Very unprofessional and we will not go back there. I have found another Pediatric Gastroenterologist who comes very highly recommended in the area and I should have asked around for recommendations instead of depending on google reviews that sounded great. I'm just saying beware.

Fantastic experience: My 16-year-old daughter has seen four gastroenterologists in the last ten years. Not one of these doctors even tried to get to the bottom of my daughter's digestive issues. We've been served a myriad of excuses, and my daughter always felt undermined and ignored. Dr. Walia listened to my daughter, and she encouraged us by telling us she will do whatever she can to help ease my daughter's years of digestive issues. It's wonderful to find a doctor that clearly loves her job and genuinely seems to want to help her parents.

Negative experience: My son was seeing this doctor and on several different occasions she was supposed to schedule procedures for him she kept forgetting she never returned any of my calls I would call into the office asking the doctor to return my calls to talk about my son & never got a reply she made him get X-rays on 3 different occasions for the same thing only to say she would be doing something to help relieve him after each visit and then she would never do it it’s like she forgot everything she said at the prior visit I’m taking my son to another gi doctor
