Fantastic experience: After seeing numerous chiropractors, Dr Tran was the only one who was able help me gain full range of motion again in my shoulder. Until her adjustments, I wasn’t able to lift my arm above my head. In addition to her chiropractic adjustments, Dr Tran utilizes a variety of methods to bring your body back to optimum health…..it might be cupping, myofascial release or exercises to do at home to help strengthen and maintain the adjustments. The office is welcoming, cheerful and warm. Her support staff, Joanna is always friendly and helpful. I am so glad to have found them and highly recommend Minnesota Family Chiropractic.

Fantastic experience: I spent 5 years in Bloomington looking for a chiropractor I love and after one session with Dr Kim, I could tell I had finally found it! I came in with a stiff, neglected back and neck and the healing started immediately. A few weeks after my first session, I injured my knee to the point that walking was difficult and the swelling would not go down. I'd recommend Dr. Kim because she is a chiropractor who will invest in your health and wellbeing and she'll do all she can to help you progess on your healing journey. I've seen her for low back pain with nerve pain down the leg and it has been managed to the point of it not bothering me anymore. I am back to see her again a year later now for neck pain and stiffness.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the positive environment at Minnesota Family Chiropractic, people and music. Her initial exam is comprehensive and includes xrays and a review of specific treatment goals. The exercises that are done in preparation for and after the adjustment ensure maximum benefit. Dr. Kim knows all her patients by first name and listens to feedback and provides effective multi-modal treatments including acupuncture, supplements, essential oils, among others if you so chose.

Negative experience: Not a good experience at all! I got there at my appointment time and was told they had to finish 3 other people before me because they got there first. So I would have to wait 30 more minutes to be seen. They didn’t know how to run my insurance properly, I had to explain it to them. And when I wanted to leave, now mind you this is the second time this has happened, and reschedule they said I ahead to pay over $60 to hold my spot. They didn’t see me at the time of my appointment or didn’t have my insurance information completed when I sent that in back on August 14. Very unprepared and behind company.

Negative experience: Met this office at Minnehaha Falls and scheduled an appointment. I went to my appointment and it didn’t started well and only went down from there. For one, 75% of the conversation was about my relationship and not what was causing me pain in my back which I didn't like. I paid $67 to be there and was shocked to know the it was another $60 for an adjustment. I am a student and work part time I don't have that kind of money to spend $127 on one appointment I thought the adjustment was included in all of that. Also I am in the health care field and I was told that the office works around that yet when I went to schedule my next appointment the days and times that could work for me the office hours did not accommodate at all. The first appointments of the day I would have to already be at school or work and by the time I'm done the office is closed and the one day I get off early enough the office isn't open late enough. I was told for my adjustment that my arms and wrist would get cracked but that was almost forgotten about until I spoke up and said something. I pointed to a specific spot that causes me pain and it was not cracked/adjusted I was told "in time" it'll get better but I'm in pain now and still in pain even after the adjustment which is not okay and then asked to pay for it like why would I have to pay for it if I'm still in pin and did not get what I wanted taken care of. Then I kept asking for my X-rays because I am trained to read radiographs and I was told no which they are legally mine and I want a copy of them and I was told no which is not okay. While I was there I was told information about another patient that that patient did not consent or know that I was going to be told the information given. I know this because I talked to the said patient about it afterwards. I was told that this chiropractor office was accommodating but it was any but. I am very unhappy.

Fantastic experience: I had to share my incredible experience with Dr Tran, the chiropractor who completely transformed my life. For over five years, I suffered from a painful right-hand injury. Despite trying cortisone shots and physical therapy, the pain kept returning every six to seven months. Surgery was suggested, but I wanted to explore other options. That’s when I discovered Dr Tran and decided to give chiropractic care a chance. With regular visits three times a week for a month, my pain reduced drastically. Surgery became unnecessary, and now I visit her weekly to maintain a pain-free life. Dr Tran's chiropractic care has made an enormous difference in my life, and I can’t thank them enough. Bonus: The office is clean and staffs are welcoming. I enjoy my time here.

Negative experience: Met at Edina art fair booth. Was informed I would receive X-rays consultation and adjustment for $67 instead of $199. Came in waited 40 past my appointment time filled out 25 minutes of paperwork. Was given mini tour, first red flag, was told they have a light therapy where on average you can lose 2-5 inches of fat. Initial meeting with Dr. Tran was asked a few questions then one about my high blood pressure I’ve had since 18 that runs in family. Red flag number 2 how would you like to not have to take it anymore? High blood pressure can be caused by compression in your neck and spine I can relieve that. 3-4 minutes Took X-rays 5 minutes. Ok come back tomorrow for appointment. Everything seems rushed no instruction on what’s to come except what she tells staff to set me up for. I have no clue. Come to appointment then told to start exercises. How am I doing exercises if I haven’t been informed of my issues? Staff gave me instructions on 1 exercise said she would show me others when finished, I finished. Another staff came over and said if you don’t do your exercises we can’t give you results or do adjustment. I said I don’t know what’s going on, wasn’t informed of other exercises. I Didn’t like the attitude of the 2nd staff member the overall feeling of being rushed in and out of first appointments without proper instruction, being informed of exactly what the next step will look like and not getting results of X-rays to know what might be causing issues.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, I have been going for almost 3 years, both my boys and elderly mom with dementia have also received treatment. She takes a different approach with each one of us. When I started going there my arms were falling asleep multiple times a night among other things. She took X-rays, explained what was causing the issues and set me up with a treatment plan. It worked, I felt so much better. Dr. Kim has helped with so many ailments, she is my go to. She has helped with a jammed finger, a soccer ball to the jaw, and so much more. Appointments are flexible, and if I feel I need an adjustment I can just pop in (during business hours of course). She has such a positive demeanor, very personal, and knowledgeable, and the staff is great too.

Negative experience: I had a 9 o’clock appointment. I filled out paperwork for exactly 38 minutes, there were numerous patients in front of me! The receptionist said she didn’t know how long it would take before my 1 hour consultation, saying there were a few folks in front of me. I ended up leaving and not getting any consultation or an apology from anyone! I was extremely disappointed and wasted a good 2 hours of my morning! #angry/upset/ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: Dr Kim Tran is great. Went to her Women’s, Wine and Wellness event and really liked what she spoke about to help with healing the body. I told hesitant Dr Kim I was very hesitant about ever going to a chiropractor. She helped me work through that. Her exercises that she gave me to do and techniques she uses are ones I am comfortable doing. My neck issue gives me pain with tingling going down both arms. Hands would lock and tighten up. I really needed help to stop that. Signed up, she took X-rays and felt better at the first appointment. There really is benefit right away. So happy I signed up and am helping my body heal.

Fantastic experience: Just to warn everyone...this will be long. My first experience in chiropractic care was back in 2011 at an office a friend had recommended after I had gone into the doctor numerous times for a throbbing headache. Nothing worked. It felt like my head was going to explode! My chiropractic care had started with adjustments 3 times per week, then 2 times per week, then 1 time per week and finally, I was down to 1 time every other week. This took about a years time. It was great! No pain. No throbbing headache. One day. One morning, I woke up and my finger tips on my right hand were numb. It was kinda weird, but didn't really think anything of it, until, the numbness traveled up my right arm and down my right side and stopped at my waist. I was still in chiropractic care, so naturally, I started there, because I had such a wonderful experience and thought they would be able to help. My chiropractor took x-rays and also sent me to see a Physician's Assistant, where I ended up doing some tests. Tests that led me to need an MRI of my brain. And then later that day, I was told I have MS and off to see a neurologist. At some point, I stopped going to the chiropractor (more than 5 years ago)...not the best decision. I was introduced to Minnesota Family Chiropractic about a month ago. Dr. Kim Tran and I were co-workers some time ago, working in the restaurant industry. Recently, we have been working to relieve pain in my neck, back and hip. I should also mention I still work in the restaurant industry and also work as a dental assistant. Chiropractic care is definitely needed. Dr. Kim is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys helping others. There is a fun, family and friends atmosphere every time I go in. Dr. Kim Tran is someone I trust with my health and I was excited to share with her this last Monday that my neck, back and hip pain has lessened considerably! Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim has made a big difference in my life and well being. I have been seeing her for about 2 months. I went in because I was getting daily headaches, which many times turn into migraines. After the first week of adjustments I stopped having migraines, and it has made life a lot easier. Not only is Dr. Kim reassuring and positive about the effects chiropractic is going to have on my headaches long term, but she also thinks she can help other aches I have held elsewhere in my body which I didn't even originally ask her about/mention. From my x-rays, she was able to pinpoint personal health concerns that I have been working through for years with various doctors. My favorite thing about Dr. Kim from other chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and doctors I have gone to is that she looks at your whole lifestyle. It's a very modern approach to physical and mental care and how your whole system works together to heal itself. She also always has the data and studies to back up what she says which I very much appreciate. Thank you Dr. Kim for having my back! :-)

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Kim at the Farmer's market. I had been having trouble walking due to back, hip, and knee pain for about 10 years. In spite of therapy, I felt no significant change. I now have decreased back pain, and decreased leg stiffness and increased knee mobility. Also increased neck mobility. I am still working on increasing my distance in walking, but that has also improved.

Fantastic experience: Since, I came to visit Minnesota Family Chiropractic. I was diagnosed with a slip disc in my lower back from my first x-ray examination. Now, I seen more improvement and no more back and neck pains.

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Kim at the farmer's market. She took a look at me an diagnosed a few areas that were obvious to her where my spine was misaligned. The xrays in the office confirmed this 1st diagnosis. She has worked to correct these areas and we have both noticed success. Much more success than when I was seeing another chiropractor 10 years ago. Dr. Kim will keep trying different methods until she achieves the results she is expecting. Also, Dr. Kim and her staff are great at developing a community as well as a business. This is a warm, caring place that you can trust with your health.

Fantastic experience: The day I walked in to help get care, it totally changed my life. I had fallen down the stairs due to having a back issue after having a baby. I didn’t even want to put on normal clothes because my back hurt so bad. I was able to get adjusted and within a week I was feeling better. I am able to do way more than I could before. Dr. Kim cared about my healing process and knew exactly what I needed. I have my whole family getting care and we feel better than ever. Come in and get checked out, it changed my life.

Fantastic experience: When i came here my pelic was twisted. Could barely walk in and was in so much pain and within few adjustment i. Fantastic experience: To be honest, I rarely write reviews. However, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with working with Dr. Kim and her staff at MaxLiving to help me improve my health and wellbeing. When Dr. Kim gave me a free assessment while at my gym, I was shocked to see the proof of body damage that had piled on over the years. At 33-years-old, I never would have guessed that I could be in that poor of health. It was truly a wake up call and Dr. Kim gave me the courage to begin to finally do something about it. Being new to chiropractic care, I was very hesitant at first. As an already overly-worked professional, I was cautious with my time, money and trust involving new services. Though it would have been easy to talk myself out of it, it just felt right. It has been a little over a month, and I can already see and feel the positive results from staying diligent with the program. Physically, I have less pain and numbness and have improved my posture and digestion. Emotionally and mentally I feel more balanced and my confidence has increased by just feeling better overall. Staff are professional, personal and practice what they teach. I appreciate that they offer flexibility with scheduling adjustments, provide all the needed tools and information for success and follow a holistic approach with their practice. Im fortunate to have had the privilege to see the new center start from the ground up and am excited to continue with the program.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim is incredible! I've been going to Minnesota Family Chiropractic for about 5 weeks now. I had been seeing a different chiropractor for the past 2 years with no relief from my neck and lower back pain. After a traumatic pregnancy/birth experience in 2017 my body just started shutting down it felt like. I've been in pain every day since. So, I was a little skeptical when I met DR Kim and she told me about their methods and how it focuses on fixing the whole system. Well, after only 3 weeks I had so much pain relief! My range of motion has increased like crazy and I've been able to start hiking again. I'm so happy I found MFC and maxliving! I just started bringing my toddler as well (who has nocturnal epilepsy), she went from having episodes every night to only once last week. Thanks to getting her communication system to her body aligned and dietary changes recommended. My stress level has gone down since attending here just knowing that there is someone really listening and looking out for my and my family's best health.
