Negative experience: I go to the gym to try to build confidence. It’s hard when the girls in here are wearing bras and short shorts. I thought there was a dress code to follow!

Positive experience: Fix cart path, stop dog walkers on the course, stop the guy who drives all over the course doing nothing but search for balls while golfers are trying to play, teach your groundskeepers some golf etiquette-don't turn on the sprinklers while golfers are playing and stop the engine while someone is taking a shot.

Fantastic experience: I attended a wedding reception at this facility. Everything was amazing. The pool was great. But the best part of the place was the staff. They were so kind. They provided us with platters to use for our Cookie Table tradition. If I lived in the area, I would frequent this place.

Fantastic experience: It is a very nice new facility with nearly a hundred machines in four different rooms plus free-weights. Also, they have a variety of classes including swim, Yoga among many others. A trainer is available to assist you in developing a conditioning program to meet your objective. It is never crowded so you can move through your workout efficiently. I love it!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Johnson City location for over 3 years now. I love it! The classes are great and the staff is friendly. I have also went to the new one that opened in Kingsport. Everything is brand new and very nice. I took one class there and it was a great workout. I am adding that class into my every week workout I liked it so much.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to the area, my main concern was finding the right gym. I visited several before I found Lifestyles Fitness. There is no other gym around that spaces out their equipment so their members have arm and leg room. The equipment is current and in great condition. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It’s the best gym around.

Negative experience: Please explain to me how lifestyles charges 299.00 for swin lessons when everywhere else it's no more than 99 and most of the time cheaper than that? This is outrageous and very much over charged. They need tho redo their price at least 100 for members and 150 for non members I mean make it reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Great gym at a pretty reasonable price for what you get. I'm not as well versed in gym equipment as some, but they seem to have a wide variety of equipment to suit your needs. Best of all, it's never so crowded that I have to wait for a machine. Only down side is they do require at least an 18 month contract.

Positive experience: I just think the staff could be a little more friendly. And just from personal reasons, i don't think they back up what they say. Been told they were getting a spin class for months. the employees seem like they work under pressure. Not a real relaxed place.

Positive experience: Great place to workout and go swimming but a certain lifeguard makes me cringe every time I go. Your not allowed to float with your 1 year old daughter in the lazy river while she is in a float and your not. I’m a 36 year old grow man in 3 foot of water, I think I’ll make it. I think they do need to extend the hours for the gym but other than that the facility is top notch.

Fantastic experience: A very upscale gym that's in a very nice area, so you won't be troubled with shady individuals. The bathroom showers are superb, seeing as there are 2 drains which is lacked it almost every major gym. The weight area is superb, but the dumbbells only go up to 100 lbs, but should be fine for your average gym goer. The facility is very clean, and the staff typically friendly. PS: In my time coming to the gym, I've noticed one thing. The cable machine in the back of the room is aligned PERFECTLY with the carpet, which will prevent from second guessing your position on it... THAT is ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

Fantastic experience: We joined three weeks ago and absolutely LOVE working out here. The facilities are amazing, it's very clean, and it never feels crowded due to the setup and large space. It's a family friendly atmosphere and the staff is wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Love it! ! I am pushing 60 and a total fitness novice, but Lifestyle Fitness' staff (especially my trainer) have made me feel comfortable, welcome, and important. Besides friendly staff, the facility is absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. The equipment is plentiful and geared toward a wide range of fitness needs.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. Great equipment, the best pool in the area with a lazy river and slide to boot. Adding group classes all the time and they are very responsive to the needs of the members as they grow. I had left feedback in the summer about the lack of childcare in the mornings through a survey form they send around from time to time. I assumed it was like any other survey similar to other company surveys and that nothing would ever be done about it. I just recently found out they are extending childcare hours and are adding them in the morning for those members that like to work out during the early hours who also have little ones. It's because of things like this that we will continue to support this gym as they grow and are glad we've joined them.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined in April on 2016 and we love Lifestyle Fitness of Bristol. Their facilities are very clean, their staff is polite and helpful, and their equipment is modern/up to date. My favorite thing about Lifestyle Fitness of Bristol is the open floor plan. I feel that everyone has enough room to do their workout without being on top of the person next to them.

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym I've been a member of. It is a big facility with various kinds of equipment including the Synergy 360. Everything is spread out and you aren't on top of anyone. It has the friendliest staff of any place. Not to mention it has a pool and lazy river! I have motivation in front of me when I work out. Fantastic experience: Lifestyles stands out to me for many reasons. I always feel welcome and comfortable from entering the facility to leaving at the end of my workout. The facility is well maintained and super clean. I love the open floor plan and availability of so many workout possibilities. The extra perk is to have a nice pool to relax by after working out too, of course! Lastly, many classes are being added to the monthly calendar including piyo, dance, bootcamp, and yoga. Lifestyles is a gym that is growing fast in the area for sure, and I recommend it to any age and all abilities!

Fantastic experience: The Aerobics (Group Fitness) classes that come with my membership at Lifestyle Fitness are not crowded like my old gym and the instructors seem very experienced. Shape & Shred, Fueled, and Holly's BPM Dance class on Saturdays are excellent!!!!!!

Negative experience: I just moved to TN from Florida. Decided to give this gym a try. Pros: Lots of equipment. cons: the gym is incredibly cluttered, it needs to be cleaned and organized. The hours are not great. Open till 5 and 6 on weekends..What a joke. I ONLY signed up for this gym because they have a sauna. The Sauna takes OVER and hour to heat up to 130. The gym Is stuck in the 80's.. From the music they play , to the equipment and the overall feel of the gym. I hope the manager reads this. They Desperatley need to declutter and revamp This place. Or atleast make the pictures on the wall straight. Haha

Fantastic experience: This is a great eighteen hole private golf coarse with rolling hills and beautiful scenery. Greens are smooth, rolling and cut frequently. Fairways are challenging and in great shape. Carts are available and always in great shape and operate smoothly, the club offers both daily and unlimited cart fee memberships. Club members also get use of the pool, tennis courts, basketball, and gym amenities in both the Johnson City and Bristol location. Tee times are easy to get. Private lessons for training, swimming, and golf are available.

Fantastic experience: Love this facility. The trainers and instructors are highly skilled and educated. They really enhance your exercise experience to help you get more out of your workout. Cross- Fit room is always jamming and working hard - Great energy. Olympic Powerlifting - Awesome experience you won't find anywhere else. Tons of classes for every level of workout. Pound, Yoga, Martial Arts, Dancing, Tai- Chi etc.

Fantastic experience: One month in and I love it. You will always have something to do. they have a variety of aerobic classes , to cross fit, personal trainer, basketball, track or just a simple workout on variety of equipment. I love the motivation. They even have yoga of all levels. Smoothie and snack bar. Great place.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member now for several years. It is convenient, the machines are well maintained, the mens locker room is clean and the showers efficient. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The great thing about the gym which makes it superior to others I have visited is the spaciousness.....lots of room between machines and an indoor track.

Positive experience: So I don't use this gym anymore, found something else that is less expensive with the same results. I called to cancelled my membership because I can't afford it anymore and they tell me that I can't. Well that doesnt make we want to continue going there. There is absolutly nothing special about this gym. I would rather go to the YMCA in Kingsprt. I am not going to pay for services I dont even use. they just went from a 5 star to a negative one. I use to like them but I guess in the end everything is all about money.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for well over a year. The management now provides a wonderful environment that very specifically meets my needs of scheduling, cost and an environment that is clean and comfortable for everyone. I'm very pleased with my results!!

Fantastic experience: Like many current members, I've been part of the Lifestyle Center since the 1980's. That statement alone is telling enough. In the last couple years, several niche-competitors have emerged. If you visit them, they will compare and contrast themselves to the Lifestyle Center. That statement also is telling. The bottom line is that the Lifestyle Center has continuously grown, evolved and has maintained a leadership role in the health & fitness industry ... and there's no indication that this will change.The competitors are fine people & have fine programs - they're simply not going to overtake the Lifestyle Center. It's has all the elements of a blue chip stock: history, experience, long-time (and new) members, well-managed, clean & with an impressive armada of machines and equipment. It's a well-oiled machine that's not going to veer off course. Contact me for more specifics!

Negative experience: This gym sucks, if you join this gym you will not be happy.......

Negative experience: As a former member and employee, I strongly recommend staying as far away from this "gym" as possibly. As a "christian based facility" it is owned by a former felon on drug charges with no background in health or fitness. As a definition of a "globo-gym" all they care about is getting your money. They will do anything it takes to get you to sign that contract( which they call an "agreement" ) and there is nothing you can do (except join the military) to cancel that "agreement". Once you sign, they could care less if they ever see you again as long as you pay. The company and its managers have no interest in your fitness goals and could care less if you succeed. They buy their "top of the line" equipment off E-Bay and it shows. MOST of their employees are driven by low base salaries and high commission rates. The select few trainers who care about getting people to where they need to be are unfortunately adapted to the sideways business that is conducted. The over-seer of those personal trainers only cares about the money they pull in. Too bad they dont put any of that money back into the equipment and up keep of the gym. This is a little more in depth but covers the same negative points many others have made. Long story short...they do a great job at ruining what could be a great facility. And will always be that way unless is sold to new ownership, someone who actually cares about health and fitness.
