Fantastic experience: Was searching for a personal trainer as my workout routine at my old gym got upended with the Covid shut downs. My expectations for The Summit at Rittenhouse were high quality equipment and good personal training experience, but I can say without hesitation that The Summit has exceeded those initial expectations. Have been working with Zack Younis for the past six months and have recently increased my monthly session time to have more opportunity to train with him. Zack provides not only results-driven exercise training with a focus on proper form, but helpful tips and specific guidance on the other puzzle pieces of fitness from nutrition to supplements to sleep and mindfulness. Fantastic experience: I have worked out with Mike at The Summit Rittenhouse for about six months and I love it. Mike is a world-class rower and coach, so I have a serious professional guiding my workouts and overall training program. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend the Summit enough! I have been working with Zach for about 5 months now and he is great! I can’t recommend him enough! He’s really thorough and can be flexible with my schedule changes. He’s motivating and is always educating me during our sessions. Fantastic experience: I went to The Summit for the first time today for a 60 min deep tissue massage, and it was well worth the money! It was by far the best massage I have ever gotten. Hilary used the perfect amount of pressure and I was relaxed the entire time; I think I may have even fell asleep at one point haha. I will definitely be back regularly for more as my job takes a physical toll on my muscles. They offer monthly membership packages for the massages to save a little bit of money which I think is great. Thank you for an awesome first experience here !

Fantastic experience: The Summit is great. Right in the heart of Rittenhouse Square (easy to get to), this gym feels like your personal workout space. Everyone is so friendly and they have some really top notch equipment - multiple squat racks, huge selection of free weights, a treadmill that can do sled pulls, etc. - and the locker rooms are equipped with great amenities - three waterfall showers, fresh towels, a dyson hairdryer, etc. I also really like that you are assigned one trainer and that’s your person for whatever amount of time you train at The Summit (not to mention it’s month to month, so you can choose how many workouts you want based on what your schedule looks like). I’ve been working with Liz now for about 6 months and she is fantastic. Liz is knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptable - switching out workouts based on what else I have going on that week. She is also really good at knowing when I should probably go up in weight (even if I’m not convinced) and distracting me while doing squats (or the like). While 30 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot of time, I feel well exercised after a session as Liz puts an emphasis on doing it right and being intentional about form - less reps, better outcomes. The first workout is a longer session as you get an initial assessment and chat about what your goals are, your communication style, etc., but you get put to work really quickly after that. So far I’ve seen great outcomes - putting on muscle and increasing overall strength and fitness (to be clear I am not talking about bulking) and I’ve noticed an overall change in my fitness when I play soccer or engage in other physical activities. Important note: I’ve been traveling a good portion of the summer so these positive outcomes are with 2 week breaks stuck into the middle of my workout routine. All in all - good atmosphere, good music, good workout. I genuinely look forward to my workouts here.

Fantastic experience: In prep for my wedding in June, I decided to pursue personal training. From my research, the main thing that attracted me to The Summit at Rittenhouse was the expertise/education of all the trainers. When visiting the studio, I was really impressed by the quality of the various machines and the overall cleanliness. I started training with Paige in February and I can't recommend her enough to others. I had no prior weight training experience, but she did a fantastic job explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. I looked forward to my weekly sessions with her because I knew I would always get a solid full-body workout. Fantastic experience: Highest of recommendations! Training at The summit exceeded my expectations in every way. My trainer, Mike O., was extremely professional and patient which was helpful for a beginner like myself. Not only did he correct all of my lifting form/posture but he also made sure to explain the exact mechanisms underlying everything we did at the gym. These explanations ranged from the specific muscle groups targeted by each motion to the overall goals of muscle hypertrophy and growth. He was knowledgeable about everything related to the gym, able to describe the exact hormonal/chemical reactions in the body as well as recommend the best diet/sleep routines to help accelerate my progress. I came into the gym with the goal of building mass and within less than 3 months I gained over 15 pounds of muscle. Moreover, the gym itself was a great place to exercise. Fantastic experience: I couldn't say better things about my experience at Summit. My trainer, Mike, takes the time to really learn what is important to me and my fitness goals. He created a tailored plan and we meet weekly, continually building on this plan. Fantastic experience: Rachel and The Summit are awesome! Before training here, I wasn't really ever sure if I was doing the right types of exercise for what I wanted to accomplish and would give up because I either wasn't seeing results or would injure myself. Exercise was generally frustrating and demotivating. I've trained with Rachel for a little over a month now and already notice a shift in how I think about exercise, how I feel when I workout, and my motivation to get to the gym often. Rachel took time to learn about my goals and lifestyle before I started training. She spends every minute of our training sessions teaching me how to exercise, correcting my form, shares methods that help me stay aware and focused on each movement, and motivates me to push harder. On top of all that, she's created a dynamic workout program for me to follow at home (in a mobile app that syncs to my Fitbit!) that helps me reinforce what I learn during training and is incredibly responsive outside of sessions whenever I have questions. The Summit studio itself is so nice, they're so thoughtful about scheduling so trainees never feel crowded, and the atmosphere is fun and motivating. Fantastic experience: Highest Recommendation! I started virtual training with Mike O. at Philly Personal Training (now The Summit at Rittenhouse) about 2 months ago. I was a little unsure going into it, given that I had very little gym experience to begin with and everything would be virtual. But Mike and the Summit team have exceeded every one of my expectations! (1) He has brought structure and accountability to my overall fitness routine. (2) He is extremely knowledgeable and has taught me the rationale behind every exercises and workout we do. (3) He has helped tailor my workouts to my diet and overall health (including navigating a couple of injuries). Fantastic experience: I joined back in November after a bout of long covid had me in the worst shape of my life. Working with Mike for the last 6 months has me in arguably the best shape of my life, couldn’t recommend enough! Fantastic experience: My trainer, Elizabeth, is excellent. I am an older man, >70 years old, and she fits the program to my goals without exasperating old injuries and arthritis. In fact I have less pain since working with her. She has greatly increased my energy and function. I can lift heavy pots and pans with ease, and reach above my head easily.

Fantastic experience: I'm very new to fitness and have a sizable weight loss goal, so I was honestly intimidated to start working out and worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up. After the initial assessment, we started at my ability level and have built up from there. There hasn't been any shame or judgment from my trainer, Rachel, which has helped me feel more comfortable with and less judgmental of myself. I feel like I have support in my health goals. I've made noticeable progress in the first two months and am looking forward to continuing my weight loss journey with Rachel and Philly Personal Training.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend this place more highly. Every interaction I've had with them from ownership on down has been great. My trainer, Nick, has exceeded expectations from the first session -- extremely knowledgeable, responsive, challenging, and a great guy. I've been working out alone or with a buddy for ~15 years and this place helped me break through long-standing plateaus in ~2 months. I really don't think you could do any better for the price point.

Fantastic experience: Feeling out of shape, unmotivated, and unhealthy for the longest time I had reached out to Philly Personal Training after reading that their team consisted of trained and educated health experts. My trainer, Rachel Hydock, is the most amazing trainer I could've ever asked for and I'm so glad that I was able to find her at Philly Personal Training. Looking to tone up, gain more energy, and live by a healthier lifestyle, Rachel has been able to guide me onto just the path I was looking for. Rachel has instilled in me a joy in working out and going to the gym. I can't imagine my life without it now. She doesn't give you anything you can't handle, but at the same time she will push you to the best of your abilities and to create more endurance. Rachel is a joy to be around. Fantastic experience: If you are recovering from an injury, have cleared physical therapy and are looking for a professional trainer to guide you safely back to training; I highly recommend visiting Philly Personal Training. Early last March I experienced a complete tear of my right arm bicep tendons. I underwent surgery to repair the tear and proceeded with the recovery process as directed by the Surgeon; completing physical therapy as directed. At the November follow up with the Surgeon; I was given the green light to start easing back into working out. I met with Rachel at my initial appointment. We discussed previous workout history, injury history, and current fitness goals. After the initial consult, I was teamed up with Matt. Matt's knowledge and experience with training those injury prone and those recovering from injury was extremely beneficial. Over the past 4 months we developed a lifting plan to re-establish my previous strength and fitness levels. We identfied areas of weakness and bad habits. Stability exercises and proper form have played a primary source of successful progress. Positive experience: I trained with Matt at Philly personal training and he is great. He helped me with adding different exercises into my existing routine and also with recovering after an injury. He also gave me 3 plans to follow when I work out on my own since I only met with him for 1 hour once a week. He is very knowledgeable and switches up the exercises to keep things interesting and challenging. The 4 star (rather than 5) is simply because of cost, I wish it was more affordable so I could have continued training there.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Philly Personal Training in December of last year after I found myself struggling to lose weight on my own. Out of all the different personal trainer options in Philadelphia, I picked Philly Personal Training because all of their trainers had college degrees in exercise science and they offered onsite Registered Dietitian consultation through Family Food LLC. After a Fitness Assessment and discussing what time would work best for me, I met Liz, one of the trainers at Philly Personal Training. I have never been a fan of the gym and this was my first experience with a personal trainer; however, my concerns quickly disappeared under her careful guidance. Liz created a personal workout plan for me based on the equipment available at home and each of our twice weekly 30-minute sessions gave me the chance to learn more about exercise and proper form under a watchful eye. Philly Personal Training also has an onsite shower which makes early morning exercise a breeze before work. Supplemented with the great feedback from a Registered Dietitian, I started to see the scale shift down. Liz is a kind person, has been great in adapting to new challenges (both in the gym and general scheduling), and ensures that I push myself while remaining safe. The private gym is clean and I rarely encountered more than 2 or 3 other gym members. Thanks to the guidance of Liz and other members of the Philly Personal Training team, I am now 50 lbs lighter. To anyone on the fence, do yourself a favor and stop in to Philly Personal Training.

Fantastic experience: I've been with philly personal training for almost a year now. They are amazing! I absolutely adore Elizabeth! She is phenomenal; shes professional and definitely knows how to work people to achieve specific goals. And my goals have changed like four times over the course of the year. From gaining strength after a miscarriage, to getting in shape for bjj competition, to regaining strength again after having lyme, to losing weight for a wedding. And she has been there through it all, being supportive and understanding. Really I cant ever explain how far I've come this year with her help. I've tried on my own for years but it wasnt until I started working with Elizabeth that results started showing. If your on the fence, take the leap and let them help you get to where you wanna be. They can and will.

Fantastic experience: Choosing Philly Personal Training was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was so easy and fast to get a consultation and I was paired with the perfect trainer for my needs. I have been working with my trainer, Liz Marmer, and she is AWESOME! My fitness goals have been focused on running and overcoming a shin injury in preparation for the Philadelphia Marathon. I love working with Liz because she is relatable, informative, and positive. Being able to work with someone that understands what I've been going through has made such a difference. Not only has she given me so much running advice, but she has also given me a greater context of what it takes to be a healthy, strong runner, and that is exactly what I was hoping for. She has helped me through my injury by giving me amazing recommendations, advising me on the best ways to stretch, and by focusing on workouts that strengthen other parts of my body. In just two months, I have already noticed a difference in my running form, my posture, and my core strength - which has all helped alleviate my running pain. I am so impressed by her endless knowledge of the body and how she is able to relate every workout back to my specific goals. She is also incredibly patient with helping me make sure I am doing each workout correctly and pays close attention to my form with each one. She is able to assess my needs and knows exactly how to help me attain them. With each session, I feel like I'm not only becoming stronger, but I'm also learning so much about what my body can do. Fantastic experience: What an amazing gym Philly Personal Training is! I was looking for a gym that didn't have the toxic environment that typical gyms have and I found it. This gym is private, clean, and the entire personal training staff is extremely friendly. The thing I love most is that all the personal trainers on staff have college degrees in fitness and exercise, so you know you're working with a pro. I have seen amazing results in posture, the way my clothes fit, and my blood pressure has improved dramatically. I'd recommend Philly Personal Training to anyone looking for a not-so-typical gym that provides amazing results!

Fantastic experience: Great private gym! Good place if you work in center city and go to the gym before or after. They have a shower too. Fantastic experience: Going to PPT was the best decision I ever made. Liz is a wonderful trainer and has made every session I had enjoyable. I was hesitant to get a personal trainer but Liz was so welcoming. I never felt any judgement from her or anyone else at PPT. Liz pushed me just enough but also worked with me so that I could get the most out of my experience. PPT is accommodating to all ages, sizes, and whatever athletic ability you have. I came in with no previous athletic training and now I feel like I know what I am doing when I'm at my gym by myself.

Fantastic experience: I trained with Rachel for just over a year. I came to her after 7 years of being afraid to exercise--when I was 18 I got diagnosed with a chronic health condition which literally forced me to stop exercising after being super active (I did martial arts and cross country running). Even when I started to get my physical health back, I was still afraid of hurting myself or making myself sick from physical activity and wanted help and support from someone who knew exercise science and how our bodies worked. This is where Rachel came in. Rachel is super kind and fun to work with. She knows how to push you just a little further than you think you can go. I saw myself get stronger and faster as I logged each session. I did just 1 30 minute session per week, and saw results quickly, because Rachel put together exercise routines I could do on my own for the rest of the week. So I got 5 planned workouts a week (1 session + 4 on my own), which was an incredible value for the price. Rachel never failed to deliver high quality training, workouts, and information. She delivered on everything I signed up for. She answered any questions I had, and after one year I definitely learned how to listen to my body and push myself. I feel much less afraid than I did going in, and confident enough to continue working out on my own. Here's a few stats too: I lost 6% body fat in one year, and 12 lbs. Never in my life have I lost fat and gained muscle like this, and it feels really good to know that I did it slowly over time in a healthy way. The training also really encouraged me to improve my eating habits and tackle my insomnia with a Sleep specialist, so I'm coming out of this experience more healthy than before in many respects. If you're thinking about trying this, do it! I loved coming here, the other trainers are super friendly as well, and I looked forward to coming to my session each week. I'm sad to go, but I'm so glad to have had this experience at PPT.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a personal trainer, look no further than Nick at Philly Personal Training. A former cardio-enthusiast and classpass user, I have never seen better results than through working with Nick. He has helped me get stronger through his individualized, detail-oriented, and fun work-outs. In just a few short months I have seen mental and physical improvements. Nick pays attention to form and has pointed out subtle changes that have made huge differences for improving my strength and flexibility while preventing injury. Fantastic experience: I have trained with Mike Orzolek for the last 3 months, and I could not be happier with the training sessions and the progress I have made in such a short time. Fantastic experience: I first spoke with Brian Maher, the owner and founder of PPT, about two years ago. Despite being very impressed with him, I chose to go elsewhere in order to try to save a little bit of money. Big mistake. Brian even warned me about some of the other local competitors and he was right. They were all super interested in telling me about their celebrity and fortune 500 clients and I felt very insignificant. At one training location, the trainer, who was also a co-owner, no-showed our first session. I gave up for a while but when my fiancee wanted to start training, I told her to skip everything and just go straight to PPT. She was really happy with how it worked out and that gave me the motivation to give things another try. I went back in and I've been working with Mike now for about 4 months. I couldn't be more pleased. He is professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. Most importantly, he does a great job with the workouts. I'm a sweaty mess by the end of our sessions, without exception. I'm seeing results already--I feel stronger, I'm sleeping better and I have more energy. Fantastic experience: I've had a terrific experience at Philly Personal Training working with my trainer, Liz, over the past few months. Liz does an exceptional job at ensuring that I get as much as possible out of our 30-minute sessions, which are perfect for someone like me with a demanding work schedule. I've been extremely pleased (and surprised) by how great of a workout I can get in such a short time each session with her. Liz is also keenly observant of how my body reacts to an exercise and makes sure to immediately adjust any exercise if it seems too tough or too easy. She also does a great job of incorporating a wide array of different exercises that work out various muscles and keep things interesting. Moreover, the excellent workout aside, Liz is a wonderful person and an utter joy to be around. It isn't easy to enjoy the company of someone who is making you do physically demanding exercises at 730 in the morning, but Liz is a genuinely fun person to talk to who knows how to strike the perfect balance between professionalism and lightheartedness, which really adds a lot to the experience. From what I've observed, the other trainers there are also great people, contributing to an overall terrific culture at the gym.

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Liz for the past several months and I couldn't be happier. She meets me where I am during each session, but has a good sense of when to push me. The facility is clean, bright, and well maintained, and the other trainers there are friendly and professional. I thought I might feel self-conscious working out in close proximity with one or two other clients in the space, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how little I've noticed because I'm focused on getting through my own session. The only thing I wish I could change is my budget so that I could afford to visit more frequently.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I've been going there for about a year and I haven't ever felt this comfortable in an exercise/gym setting in my entire life. For context, I have also been insecure about exercise and going to the gym. I never felt confident but also felt that it was something that should be implemented in my life. Enter PPT and Liz, my trainer! The whole team at PPT, but especially Liz, have made me feel comfortable and excited about exercising. I go to the gym at 7 am and (even though waking up in the morning is hard) I'm excited to see what's in store for the day. If you had told me a year ago that I would be happily waking up that early to go to the gym, I would have never believed you but now it's a weekly occurrence for me. I know that everyone at PPT only wants me to succeed and Liz seems happier for my accomplishments than I am sometimes. Fantastic experience: Most importantly, Mike helped me build a foundation with a holistic and personalized approach to strength. It was very expensive, but mostly worth the value for short term/foundational planning. There were times when I felt things weren’t moving fast enough with communication and resources, which made me worry about how much money I would end up spending. They provide access to their app, but it has limitations: it’s unwieldy for trainers and trainees to manage workouts and exercises, the integration with myfitnesspal doesn’t provide useful info to trainers, and I believe my access is revoked now that my membership is inactive. I would suggest at the very least, giving continued access to tracking workouts. But ultimately, it would be best to seek aggressive feature development and UI improvements in the current 3rd party app solution, or to find a better app that delivers, or if none exists, to look into developing an in-house solution. My opinion is that the current app probably isn’t worth the cost to Philly Personal Training or its customers, and that an amazing app with continued access would go a long way in delivering value to all and be a worthwhile investment.

Fantastic experience: Signing on with PPT was the best thing I have ever done for myself. My trainer is Mike and he is AWESOME! He strikes a perfect balance between accountability and support. He takes away the stress of figuring out a daily exercise routine which allows me to only focus on getting stronger, healthier, and leaner. It makes a difference to train with a professional who not only understands technique but received a degree to better understand the physiology of the body... I have seen more results in 3 months with Mike than I have in my years in the military. I am a 41 year old physician with a busy schedule, but my 3 sessions a week are the highlight of my week because I am seeing results, energized and happier!

I’ve been training with Matt for about four months and can honestly see so many results: I’m stronger, fitter, and much more confident with my workouts. He pushes you without being overbearing, so you’re lifting more and doing more exercises than you ever thought you could - and that you’d ever do on your own. Plus, he puts together great, creative workouts that you can do on your off-days. And on top of all THAT, he’s just a cool dude who is fun to be around, so instead of dreading your training days, you’re excited for them.

Fantastic experience: Awesome concept! Best decision ever to join! Mike just rocks it!!! I have been working with PPT for around 6 month and lost more than 25 pounds and got into shape to run my first half- marathon. I truly enjoy working with Mike, he does an awesome job in getting me up to speed, motivating me and making the exercising fun. He has been very flexible to ensure I get my weekly training which is great for people with busy work and life schedules. PPT's concept is really great, the newsletter and also meeting with the nutritionist help me a lot on my journey. I can only recommend signing up and investing into yourself with PPT! I would always recommend working with Mike, best trainer I have worked with!

Fantastic experience: I've always struggled with my weight. Never had real proper training or a trainer. I knew I had to get help once I started my nursing career. I started having back pain and I wasn't strong enough to do my job properly. I was straining all of muscles and wake up in pain all the time. So one evening while I was awake because my back was killing me, I decided to look up personal trainers. I knew I didn't want just any person or a fake trainer because they can really hurt someone if they do not understand body types. I found Philly Personal Training on yelp and google. I read every review and made an appointment. When I sat down and spoke to Brian and he discussed with me the prices, I thought I'll try at least one month because its commitment free. I chose 2-30min/week and its so worth it. Rachel is my trainer. Let me tell you how much I love her and Liz (another trainer). We always have such a good time and I'm always making friends here. But most importantly I love that PPT jumpstarted my fitness kick. Rachel gives me at home workouts to do on top of what we do together. She loves teaching and will always tell you what to do if you need. You would be surprised at how tweaks in a form really makes a difference in the workout (quality vs quantity). Never knew I was doing a lunge incorrectly. There is only encouragement at PPT, you never feel an ounce of judgement. We do reassessments every month and a half or so to see where I am and if I have new goals. Setting small goals really helps you focus and feel good. My first goal was to get stronger so that I no longer had back pain. My second goal is/was to feel good in my body and skin. My longterm goal is reach my body's potential. Its funny how your mind start to change when you take charge of your health. I no longer have back pain and I feel great and confident. I can't believe what we did in 3 months. I've only done 1 assessment so far and have my next one scheduled. As of today, I've lost a total 7-8lbs, I'm stronger, and I'm smaller in places I never thought I would (calves yes!!) I can't wait to see where I'll be by next summer. I love it here at PPT. Can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Mike Orzolek for a while now and could not have had a better experience. He makes the workouts fun and interesting each session. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about the body and exercise science and is always explaining why I'm doing each exercise and how I'm benefitting from it. He's so easy to get along with and very patient. He makes me look forward to each session and makes the overall experience a great one. The gym itself is fully equipped with everything you could need and is always clean. Each staff member I've encountered has been incredibly friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great, professional trainers who are both friendly and respectful of your time and individual needs. Elizabeth is incredibly motivating: funny and fun, but tough and knows what she's talking about. From what I've seen, Rachel, Sean and Brian are all equally excellent trainers and together they create a welcoming environment - you feel like part of the team. Clean, convenient, well-outfitted facilities serve you and the trainers well.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Rachel for around 3 months and she is amazing! At first I thought 30-min session is short but I was totally wrong. Rachel is very good at tailoring the work out for my needs and keeping pushing forward my limit. She watches my performance closely and always makes sure I use the right muscle without hurting myself during the session. The 30-min with her is much more effective than the time I work out on my own. Since English is not my first language, she uses her great patience to explain the work out to me with body language to make the communication efficiently. Her smiles always make my day in the morning! I can feel my body is getting stronger into a better shape. And the monthly membership helps to establish the consistency which is mostly important. I strongly recommend Philly’s personal training to anyone who wants to see a difference!

Fantastic experience: My trainer is Mike Orzolek and I'm super happy with the sessions. Not only am I definitely making progress with muscle definition, but Mike is a really cool dude who is patient with a beginner and really knows his stuff. I've learned a lot! Fantastic experience: I was interested in personal training and found PPT through Yelp and Google, their reviews really impressed me. After doing my research, they really seemed like the best option. I got started back in May and the reviews are great for a reason. It completely lives up to the reviews. This place is amazing. Brian, who owns the gym is really personable and it seems like he genuinely cares about helping people become the best version of themselves. I'm fortunate enough to have Rachel as a trainer. She has a great sense of humor, she's approachable, helpful and she's a fantastic motivator. She's available whenever I text her and has really personalized all my workouts. I feel like she really hears me and is rooting for me. Can you ask for anything else in a personal trainer? She's incredibly knowledgable and helps me understand anything that I have questions about. I look forward to all my sessions with her, but I also look forward to my at-home workouts- she picks exercises that challenge me, but also I'm never bored, and that was important to me. I feel like I came in with a small list of things that were really important to me and all my needs and expectations have not only been met but also exceeded. Cannot recommend PPT enough!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Rachel Kessler for about four months now. Just for context, I had been living a fairly sedentary life, I had never taken on a regimented strength training program before in my life and had decided enough is enough. Here's what Rachel has helped me with that make her methodology and the trainers as Philly Personal Training different and distinctive: +Personalized workout plan: After my first few weeks of working out with Rachel she put together a personalized workout plan for my entire weekly regiment. In addition to making sure I was clear about what I should be doing in her sessions each week, she also made it clear how often i need to do cardio and lifting sessions on my own. Also when I found other outside workout classes that I loved, she updated my regiment to include those so now I've found a routine that truly works for me (and that I'm excited about) +Nutritional Advice: In addition to putting together a workout plan, Rachel also crafted a personalized nutritional plan that took into account the workouts I was planning to complete. Given my workout plan, my current weight, height and age Rachel crafted a plan that included macros i need to hit each day and calorie count to keep under. I would track my calories in my fav app (MyFitnessPal) and it syncs with Philly Personal Training's own app so Rachel could give me feedback on what I'm eating in real time and adjust my macros if necessary +Ad hoc advice and inspiration: Rachel encourages her clients to reach out to her via text or email whenever the need ad hoc advice or inspiration. This is great because the toughest times during a physical transformation tend to be in times when there's typically no one there: when you're preparing to eat out and aren't sure what to order from the menu that's in line with your diet, when you can't get up to go to the gym for that cardio session, etc. Rachel offers to be there for her clients in those times to offer advice and inspiration to keep pushing +Teaches independence: I've been told that some trainers hope for their clients to become dependent/long term clients of theirs. Ever since I started with Rachel she has made it clear that at some point I'll stop needed to go to training and she's prepping me for that time in my life when I'll be lifting all on my own. This means as we're working out she makes sure I learn how to push myself appropriately, assess my limits vs when I can truly push myself to lift more so that when I'm working out on my own I'll continue to effectively push myself. She does the same when she explains how to effectively meal prep or make good eating decisions throughout the week and how to make sure I stay inspired mentally (weight loss is a journey!) Overall I've lost over 6 inches across my entire body (arms, thighs, calves, waist, hip), have found an exercise groove and know what I need to maintain nutritionally for results. I'm learning a ton from Rachel and recommend her to anyone looking to really build a sustainable holistic workout regiment!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Shawn since December 2016 and he's great. He makes working out fun and easy by talking to you and making the time go by quickly, so if it's a chore for you to exercise, Shawn is your guy... but even if it's not a chore Shawn is still a great trainer!

Fantastic experience: I've trained with Rachel for almost a year and it had such a huge impact on me physically and mentally. She pushed me to change my eating habits and has made me look forward to working out. I've never been this strong or fit in my life. Not only is she sweet and funny, but she also has a vast knowledge on fitness which helped me reach my goals.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Rachel for about 3 months now, and I'm loving my experience. Philly Personal Training is well-organized and smoothly run. With regular assessments and nutrition consults, I enjoy the care in tracking progress and looking at the whole picture to address any concerns and tweak any needs. With focused 30 minute sessions plus my at-home workouts, I'm seeing results, and I'm feeling motivated. Rachel is an excellent trainer - super knowledgeable, encouraging, flexible and personable. She also provides support for a healthy and positive body image, dishes out variety in the workouts, and her musical tastes are on-point! She has great energy and makes it so that I look forward to coming to sessions, even at 6am! No longer am I with trainers that give me meat-head workouts - I feel like Rachel understands my body and my goals, and provides appropriate and individual workouts that keep me injury-free. I highly recommend PPT to anyone looking to get serious about and prioritize their physical health. The folks here will help you have fun and find strength and motivation in yourself!

Fantastic experience: I started training with Elizabeth M. a few weeks ago, and I am so happy with my decision! She is an awesome trainer - she keeps the workouts fun with lots of variety, and pushes me without overdoing it. She is an educated and knowledgeable trainer, and always takes the time to fix my form or explain the movements. Her sense of humor and music selections are an added bonus. The facility is very streamlined and clean, and does not feel crowded. The integrated mobile app allows trainers to send workouts, meal plans etc., which is a perk. I would definitely recommend Philly Personal Training.

Fantastic experience: Philly Personal Training is the best! I started going twice a week to get in shape for my wedding, and my trainer, Elizabeth, was amazing. Though I only went twice per week, I saw amazing results. I felt like she really listened to my goals and gave me actionable advice to achieve them. Though I planned to stop training once the wedding was over, I liked my experience at PPT so much that I just couldn't give it up. PPT is totally worth the money, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Fantastic experience: Shaun is my personal trainer and he is amazing. He's very attentive to my form and always corrects me and also changes out the exercises to continuously challenge me. He's a very chill guy and honestly going to PPT is fun and challenging. I'd really recommend PPT.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Elizabeth in July. I picked PPT because I have a lower back condition and wanted to find out what exercises were best for me and to make sure my form was correct. Elizabeth was wonderful. She listened to my goals and was very thorough in explaining how to do each exercise and corrected my form. She provided a workout program that I can do at home or at the gym. I could text or email her with any questions I had. In the 3 months I've been going I can definitely see & feel improvement. I have gotten stronger & leaner. As for PPT itself, it has a lot of the same equipment found at a gym. It's very clean and has a bathroom with a shower for those clients that need that. I would highly recommend PPT to anyone.
