Negative experience: Unorganized and pushy. Receptionists contradict each other about EVERYTHING. I originally scheduled through Zoc Doc to specifically see Dr Gruby and yet I get every chiropractor except him. Every time I go in I get different chiropractor. I kept requesting one specific massage therapist and they kept giving me a different one. I was extremely clear to them multiple times so they promised next time I would get the massage therapist I requested if I went earlier (I went earlier for nothing since they still didn’t keep their word). It’s like a slap to my face. They disregarded everything I requested. They do the complete opposite of what the customer requests. They don’t listen nor do they care. Then when I couldn’t make it in multiple times a week they kept pushing and forcing me to go in multiple times a week even tho I told them a dozen times I cannot afford it since I’m in the process of buying a house!! Yesterday I got a random chiropractor I had never seen before and he started pressuring me to come in more times a week instead of once a week. I told him I couldn’t go several times a week since I was in the process of buying a house and he started being aggressive and demanding I go more often or my back would get worse. He was basically trying to scare me into coming more. They try to intimidate you into going more than you can go. When I was about to leave the chiropractic office, the big older woman/receptionist told me she would see me on Thursday. I asked her how come if I didn’t schedule anything and I am not planning on ever coming back again. She then got an attitude and said I didn’t get to decide when I go and that Dr gruby demanded I come back on Thursday. I then told her that I was the patient and I did not want to come back again and to cancel any future appointments that I never even scheduled. She refused to cancel my appointment. I told her that I was not happy with the services and that they all contradicted each other. That the other receptionist even admitted that she was clueless and that their system sucked. Then one of the chiropractors approached us and said that I had to come back on Thursday and I told him that I will not and that they cannot force me to go back. So then the big woman at the front desk started getting an attitude again and said that she would not cancel the appointment so I told her what she was doing was unethical. She responded that she would have Dr. Gruby call me between 5 and 7 PM to “get his permission” to cancel the appointment I NEVER scheduled. I just replied OK to him calling me since I needed to leave. To make matters worse my back pain has been getting worse even though I’ve been coming every single week for MONTHS to this establishment. Too bad my other therapist retired last year. I would only see my previous therapist once a month and my back was fine yet coming here every week my back pain has been worsening. They also lie about the billing and they overcharged the insurance. They told me the visits were going towards the deductible and were originally charging me $70 a visit then they said they were wrong and gave me a huge bill charging $250 ++ per appointment (times several appointments). Not once did I get treated by the original chiropractor (Dr Gruby) I had requested from the very beginning. Do not go here. One of the chiropractors kept twisting my neck forcefully and I had neck pain for a few days. They don’t respect the client and they try to intimidate patients into going several times a week.

Fantastic experience: I have to be honest, my first few visits to Chiromend was indifferent…until about a month later when I saw Dr. Gonzalez ( I call him Dr. G) and Martin Page who is the physical therapist. I am so glad I stuck around and met the two extremely caring medical professionals who are pretty much responsible for me being close to pain free. I had horrible postures, my neck and shoulders were giving me headaches and some lower back pains. I truly believe by continuously working with Dr. G and Martin Page, my overall health and mood have improved significantly . They made sure that I did my prescribed home exercises and advised me in a friendly way to not ignore the home exercises now that I am feeling much better. My road to recovery was made possible because Dr.G and Martin really care about my well being. They didn’t try to sell me any b.s. vitamins or unnecessary services for the sake of profits or billing. Their goal was to help address my pain! Dr.G and Martin would often meet with me together to talk about my progress and would change up my home exercises if necessary. I’m sure there are other good ones in the office also, but my trust is with these two gentlemen. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Peter Hong also- another good one!!! I don’t usually post, and most places sell you other nonsense services, but “my team” has helped me tremendously and I give them all the credit!! Thank you!!

However, since starting treatment at Chiromend with Dr. Jose Aguilar and the team, everything has changed. I always feel well-informed, and the communication about my body condition is excellent. Negative experience: I know Justin Gruby will respond to this review because he responds to all negative reviews lol but I feel it’s important I share to warn others. The first thing I want to touch on is the fact he lied to me and my fiancée. He told us he was an M.D. which was important to me because I didn’t just want a chiropractor. But after doing some research, he does have a doctorate but only in chiropractic, he is not a medical doctor like he initially stated. I went to him with lower back pain and he made a plan for me which I agreed to and thought was good. However after going a few weeks and they only did deep tissue massage, and a chiropractic adjustment (every single time for an hour each time) I felt it was not what I needed and was looking for. I also developed migraines after a few adjustments so the negatives were outweighing the positives for me. I called to let them know I did not want to continue care and I proceeded to have an awful phone call with Justin Gruby. I very nicely explained how I felt it was not benefiting me any longer and he tried multiple times to manipulate me into staying. I also heard the front desk girls bragging about how much money they would make because they got two more people to sign on for more appointments. This is all a money making scheme for him. He was very unprofessional on the phone call and I ended up having to hang up on him because he continuously told me how disappointing it was that I wanted to discontinue care after he felt he had already helped me so much. After a while, my back started to feel better, so I wrote my pain a one on a scale of one to 10. During the phone call, he used to this against me and said obviously they are helping because I rated my pain a one. I have thrown out my back in the past and the pain for me quickly disappears, so I can’t contribute the low pain scale only to him . If a patient tells you no they do not want to continue care that is the end of that. He doesn’t care about consent and pushes and pushes. He is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t take no for an answer. I absolutely would not recommend him to anyone and his aggression and pushiness was unbelievable. I have never spoken negatively about anyone and I have never had to hang up the phone on a professional. It got to the point on the phone call where I was loud with him and explained to him over and over again that it wasn’t for me.

Fantastic experience: If your in any sort of pain and don’t know what else to do or where to turn you should Definitely give ChiroMend a try! I didn’t realize how uncomfortable I was and how out of whack my body was until I started receiving treatments! I’ve seen all of the Dr’s in the office and they are all amazing and take the time to explain every detail and most importantly they take the time to listen. I’ve also been taken care of by all the massage therapists and while they are all good, my favorite is Martin! He’s very thorough and does an amazing job with each and every massage!

I revived my passion for competitive tennis, but my body was not recovering like it did in college. After an evaluation was completed I was well educated on what was causing my ailments, what recovery should be, and eventually a maintenance plan. The entire staff are not only excellent at what they do, they are quality people. I greatly appreciate what the ChiroMend team has done for me, and I look forward to my upcoming appointments.

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant visit today at ChiroMend. The registration people, Hannah and Gisel, were both so cordial and accommodating. Joe, who did my massage was extra good and knows well the exact points of my back that need a good massage. Last but not least, the best Chiro Dr I ever met and had, was Dr Gonzales. He was very thorough in his interview regarding my health issues and he even went through all my medication and my supplements. Dr Mendoza conducted a full body exam to determine the inflamed areas of my body. He gave me a superb adjustment that gave me good relief from my back. Fantastic experience: I love this place! All of the chiropractors, massage therapists, and staff are so nice and welcoming. I have been going here for months even though it is an hour away from my house because I have felt a change since my first time going. They take the time to get to know you and create a plan to improve your overall health and wellness. They have earned a lifelong client and I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I've had foot, ankle, leg, pain for a long time. My vascular Doctor did not detect problem. My cardiologist insists on cardio exercise. Dr. Grundy detected a major issue within one hour. Look at photos. My left foot is considerably disjointed. My lower legs are totally black because blood is not flowing to that area due to circulation issues. I highly recommend Chiromend. It detects problems, and addresses the WHOLE body, thus the WHOLE person.

One thing you would want to know is their business model that you may not meet with the doctors and message therapists you schedule with. I learned from the doctors that in order to maintain the continuity of patients’ care, they step in to see patients when they are available. I saw three doctors in my three visits with them, and all the doctors are professional and attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Dr Gonzalez was Very thorough and knowledgeable with a holistic approach. He took time to explain what to expect in terms of improvement, timeline, and costs. They accepted my insurance even for some of the more obscure blood tests that were helpful to optimize health now and prevent disease later. He was able to prioritize and stay focused on key issues though information gathering, listening, and making sure he got it right. 20 minute massage, Chiro adjustment, physical therapy and check-ins were all included in my visit, although the first one was assessment only. I am new to this place but so far it’s great!

Fantastic experience: The caring professional staff at ChiroMend have been amazing. Post car accident, I sought relief for my upper and lower back. After one month, I felt so much better. Now I am on maintenance and haven’t felt this great in years. I’ll be 72 next month and have few aches or pains although I live a very active life. Each person on staff has great skills in their area of expertise. Drs. Aguilar and Gonzalez have been so helpful and the massage therapists are all fantastic. I have been coming to ChiroMend since March of 2023 ailing from lower back pain,in the lumbar area. The pain used to be so bad it was difficult to perform daily tasks. The attention I have received from Dr.Gonzalez and Dr.Aguilar has surpassed my expectations. This summer I was able to travel internationally and be the tourist I’d like to be handling the stresses of flights,tours and the grind associated with travel .Without the therapeutic care I received at ChiroMend it would have been impossible to travel the way I did. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend them enough! Went in with two bulging discs after a few doctors couldn’t help with the pain, other than suggesting medication. After 2-3 visits with the Drs here my pain was reduced by more than half. 5 months in and I’m virtually pain free (save for a few flare ups here and there - my job is pretty physical) and they are part of my weekly routine now. Super friendly staff from the front desk to the therapists. You will not be disappointed coming here!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gruby and associates are not only very professional and friendly, but they really take a very personal approach with you upon the first visit. The office is set in a very tranquil atmosphere and this feeling accompanies the you during questions and exams. Its very refreshing to be viewed by the medical community as a "real" person. I think their approach to healing is hands on and extremely inclusive of all areas of therapy and medicine.

Fantastic experience: Justin and his entire staff are the best around. They take a very different but effective approach at fixing any issue you have, be it bone/joint/tissue or systemic. If other treatment options have failed you, you will get answers here; if you haven't gone anywhere else yet, go here and skip all the headaches. I have witnessed first hand successful treatment of very serious and stubborn medical issues of a family member after "top" doctors/facilities in the nation couldn't even figure out what was wrong. Don't take my word for it, give them a chance and find out for yourself.

Fantastic experience: All 3 Doctors here - Dr.Gruby, Dr.Gonzalez and Dr.Noblet are all great! All of the remaining staff that help with massages are well-trained, amicable and wonderful as well! My son was treated well and his neck/back issues emanating from long-sitting gaming postures have been corrected with utmost care, dedication, detail and great effort! The doctors are all friendly and dedicated. You can see this clinic without questions. Dr.Gruby also helped carve a payment plan that would be economical and easier for us to pay.

ChiroMend has worked with my difficult schedule to get me in and well as my stubborness and always finds a way to explain everything they're doing to better my health as well as the importance of the at-home exercise in a way that I'll fully understand. Fantastic experience: Dr. Gruby is fantastic. I've had odd foot inflammation that no one knew the source of and could not fix it, this lasted 18 months. By "no one" I mea I went to several physical therapists, chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, and so on who did MRIs, X-rays, and other imaging. No luck. On the other hand, Dr. Gruby took a keen interest and gave me personalized care, assessing my foot mechanics in ways no one else did, exploring vitamin and mineral deficiencies, releasing muscle tightness that changed where pressure went when I walked and so on. 6 months later I'm feeling great and am getting back into more and more activity with no swelling or pain returning at the moment. Hopefully we will finish this off strong and I'll get back to heavy weightlifting, playing sports at full capacity, and more. Highly recommend the people at Chiromend!

Fantastic experience: The doctors are all very kind and they explain throughout your whole treatment so that you understand what is going on. My range of motion has improved in a matter of 3 days and they gave me pt to continue to work on at home as well. Overall very good experience.

Fantastic experience: I love playing sports, but I've had a history of issues with my ankles. I've sprained both the left and right multiple times. Dr. Gruby helped me get them right and I have not experienced an injury since visiting his office. Tendons heal on their own, but if you don't want them to break again, you see a professional.

Fantastic experience: Seldom do I post feedback, but I could not contain myself from such a wonderful experience. I took my 2 daughters to see Dr Justin Gruby from CHIROMEND in GLENVIEW, regarding our daughters condition. I have seen numerous specialists, nutritionists, and other holistic clinics, spending TOO MUCH TIME and MONEY without finding any solutions. I had the fortunate opportunity to know Dr Gruby and mentioned to him my situation and he offered to help. Fantastic experience: I’ve been fighting headaches for many years and have gone to many different chiropractors and never had much success until I found chiromend. They get to know you and truly work to figure out what’s wrong and make a plan to fix it. I’ve been going for almost a year and have had almost no headaches since. Plan to do lots of stretches at home and learn more as you go! The staff is great, professional and truly cares. It’s a slightly odd location (basically an series of small rooms/offices over a restaurant) but they make it work well so don’t let that throw you off!!

They have a whole different approach in healing the body, unlike some of the one-and-done type treatments I’ve had in the past.
