Over those years, I have been to several chiropractors, with some relief. Finding Dr. Gary Pateman and Dr. Melissa Schiefer was the key for my healing journey. The office is very clean & modern, the staff friendly & efficient. I very rarely have to wait for my appointment. Dr. Pateman and Dr. Schiefer are very professional, personable, asking good questions, and listens very attentively to my answers. After just a couple of treatments, my lower back pain is all but gone. I would highly recommend Pateman Chiropractor

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for years. I always feel better after my visit. I especially like that Dr Pateman doesn’t request to have xrays done and charging his clients with more money. He does xrays only if necessary. I walk in, pay the same small amount, walk out and I am done! If I need to come back then I can expect the same thing, no surprises. If he can’t bill your insurance then no biggie because it isn’t an outrageous amount to pay in cash. If you don’t have insurance then this makes it so much easier than walking in and paying an office visit, x rays and whatever else you could be charged. The staff is always very pleasant too.

Fantastic experience: When picking a Chiropractic Office there are a few things for me that determine my return, one of the many things about this office is the courteous office staff, without an office staff no business runs efficiently. Doctor Pateman is very knowledgeable, having a Doctor that answers all your questions and gives you great results is a plus! The massage therapist I find to be a hidden gem is Julie. She has really given me a wonderful massage and always meets my needs. Search no farther- You will not be disappointed in this office, I promise you that! See you next Thursday! :)

Fantastic experience: I am new to the Petoskey area and needed to find a Massage Therapist and a Chiropractor for chronic neck and back pain due to cervical, thoracic and lumbar subluxations from multiple traumas. I made an appointment for a massage at Healing Grace Massage and asked the therapist, Gabby for a recommendation. She recommended Dr. Pateman. I called his office on a Friday morning and was able to get in that afternoon. Dr. Pateman loosened the muscles in my back by doing some range of motion exercises and stretching as well as targeted massage before doing the adjustments. I have been to many Chiropractors in MN and FL through the years. Dr. Pateman's approach was very different, highly effective and the cost was very, very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Pateman Chiropractice and Massage to anyone looking for relief from neck and back pain as a result of physical trauma.

I’ve been to several area chiropractors and they all take loads of x-rays and insist that you need some $$$ package. He usually has same-day appointments available and he’s just an incredibly honest and caring doctor.

I made an appointment with Gary and he got to work. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and best of all he fixed my back. 2 days after seeing him I went from the worst pain I had ever had to almost no pain at all. I highly recommend this office!
