Fantastic experience: TLDR: Aleta is incredibly skilled, trustworthy, educated, up to date, connected with top professionals— if questioning provider options, absolutely choose to see Aleta! Do not waste time or money elsewhere :) In full: when originally choosing a local provider to go to, I did not do enough research and deeply regret my original choices. I have since been on my own trying to advocate for myself in search of providers to reach the results I intended. After several different local offices both large and small, I was feeling disheartened that each office was the same revolving door ushering clients in and out and not able or willing to hear my needs and concerns. In a last ditch effort (this really was my last attempt before I gave up entirely), I went into United Medical- and everything about it was different in the most impressive way. My concerns were immediately acknowledged and validated the moment I checked into the front desk. Once I got back to the room, Aleta had necessary imaging tools on hand that were not available elsewhere, and was knowledgeable in how to use them and immediately had a more comprehensive understanding of my needs. Aleta was instantly an ally, initiating referrals to other professionals and collaborating with top colleagues globally to assist me in the best way possible. She has stayed on top of working together to ensure the best possible care and services are provided, which is extremely generous to me considering I was not an original client of hers (although I wish I had been). Aleta truly is kind, knowledgeable, continuing to be educated on the most up to date techniques and equipment, she has been honest and transparent, and self aware enough to know when to make referrals. I cannot say enough kind words about her and her office. But if it can save anyone else any time or money or strife, please trust that Aleta is truly one of a kind in the best way possible and I will continue to highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Negative experience: This company is morally reprehensible. It appears to be a professional organization but it neglects caring for the people they employ. Be cautious before placing your trust here.

Fantastic experience: I have been to the best injectors in DC, VA and MD area and here locally. Hands down Aleta is the most knowledgeable in the field. She actually cares about your skin care and walks you through each step of the process. She is not just an injector, she is an expert in the field. She plans out your future appointments and gives HONEST input regarding expected results. Very happy I did my research and found her. Staff is kind and welcoming too!

Fantastic experience: I have been getting regular peels, lasers, botox ,and whatever the latest and greatest thing is , for almost 20 yrs now, and UNITED MEDICAL is HANDS DOWN the BEST place I have EVER been!! I am active military so I have lived all over the country. Most recently, I just moved from Southern California. Aleta and Lisa are 1,000 times BETTER than anywhere I have been in California and I will tell you why. 1. Besides the fact that they are fully knowledgable, they actually CARE. Literally going there feels like you are going to hang out with your best girlfriends but bonus- they give you fabulous treatments too! But seriously- they are JUST as concerned about anything you are concerned about, and know exactly what to do to reach your cosmetic goals. I didn’t even have this experience in Southern California! I had a couple Fraxels and a micro-needling out there that gave me zero results, after I was told it would. Aleta took 1 look at my concerns and knew EXACTLY what to do- and the Fabulous Lisa did a micro-needle and laser that blew me away with the results!!!! It is SO NICE to have someone listen and get you the results you want. 2. These women know their stuff 100%!!! I am hard to impress, especially because I have been so many places, Aleta and Lisa’s knowledge and skill COMPLETELY put me at ease knowing they are true experts in the field. Fantastic experience: Aleta and Miranda are fantastic! Hands down one of the best decisions I’ve ever made regarding my health and happiness was coming to UM&A. Aleta fit me in for several services as I was under a bit of a time crunch; most importantly though she did everything in the right time and the right amount and didn’t do anything we wouldn’t have time for. She explains everything thoroughly and really advocates for what’s best for the desired results (even if it’s the cheapest option!) She is in this field for the right reasons and every service I’ve had has been professional and successful. My favorite so far has been the definition to my chin and lessening of my double chin (2 services) after ONE treatment. I call her a magician :) but honestly she’s incredibly talented and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I love Areta and her entire practice. Every visit is completely Taylor to you and your skin, your lifestyle, and your budget. For example, at our last appointment the two things she told me to do was wear sunscreen and use a vitamin C. We were able to compare the difference from now and the last time and it was incredible. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Aleta by a nurse as I was going to another plc for Botox ( Wilmington dermatology). It wasn’t that I was unhappy BUT you are in and out so fast with barely any explanation. Esp if you are on a budget and need to know where the injection is going and how many units which is what I like know ahead of time AND the informative explanation on why or why not to inject etc. She doesn’t just inject she actually knows where every vein is etc. Due to her background. She also will tell you if she thinks it will work etc. Friendly knowledgeable atmosphere!

She did a very thorough assessment of my skin and listened to my concerns, and recommended a skin care treatment plan based on my goals. Fantastic experience: Aleta has been treating me for acne scars and I can’t put into words how much I appreciate her. A lot of places may have the lasers and cheaper prices but nobody is as educated, knowledgeable and caring as her. Fantastic experience: My treatments by Aleta Sloan went so well I couldn’t believe the results. I had three IPL‘s in September, October and November. A month after the last one Aleta took photographs from before. I did anything to the results a month after the last my ace, spots and veins on my nose were completely gone. My face look like I was 15 years younger. Fantastic experience: Aleta is the best! So glad I found her. One of the things I like about her is her extensive experience as a PA in the medical field. As such, she prioritizes safety and management of expectations over solely looking at the perceived, desired outcome. This is important. She takes her time explaining things and listens to your concerns then offers her professional opinion to forge a path forward. Facial rejuvenation of ANY kind should always look as natural as possible and, while there may be a modicum of discomfort here and there (hello, NEEDLES), because of her highly trained, medical approach, the pain factor is practically null and there is a comfort in knowing that you're in good hands. We used three different fillers for me, depending on placement. There is no one size fits all but with patience and a solid plan, together you'll figure out what is best FOR YOU. She also emphasizes the importance of good skincare which I feel many overlook. Working with Aleta feels like a collaboration. A really safe one. Plus she laughs at my jokes. Positive experience: I originally made an appointment for CO2 Laser & RF Microneedling because neurotoxins didn’t work and fillers didn’t look right. Was advised that I would be satisfied with only a heavy pass through of CO2 Laser and it would cost less than the combo treatment. Received CO2 Laser& Coolpass for barcode lines that appeared vertically from the top of my to lip upwards to my nose. Received excellent post care instructions, some sample products and purchased a recommended cleanser. I unfortunately experienced more than expected bleeding. I contacted Aleta with pictures and she responded asap and calmed me down and told me what to do. I returned a month later and was dissatisfied and disappointed because I developed pigmentation around my mouth. Aleta did not expect this result either. I purchased a product at her cost and was provided with some gratis neurotoxin. I returned 2 weeks later still not satisfied because I still was very red, chafed and tight. Aleta was thrilled! She explained that what she had prescribed was working as expected and the irritation I was experiencing was brand new, beautiful cells, coming through and replacing the damaged ones that she zapped with the CO2 Laser treatment. I can see that the irritation I have now is very different from the very defined laser treatment, and is a result of shedding the pigmentation with “Tret” to let the new cells emerge. Aleta provided me with an abundance of products (gratis) and I will return in a months time. This lady truly cares about her work and wants me to be thrilled with my appearance. She wants to be proud of her work and skills. I feel very comfortable in her care and trust her expertise. When you go through these procedures you really need to rely on a practitioner who knows what they are doing, can recognize issues, prescribe and recommend alternative products if things don’t go exactly as planned, and will stand by your side.
