Positive experience: Both times I've been here I've been fortunate enough to have a student that can achieve deep tissue massage successfully. I've been to several other places that were fine, but that didn't have therapists that could manipulate my neck muscles hard enough to get relief. I would definitely recommend this place to others..!!

Fantastic experience: Arrived today and was peeking in the window. The three people working waved and I entered saying in sure I can’t get a massage today however I wanted info. Man working there said well actually we just had a cancellation at 230p if you are interested it was 212p and yes I was interested. The cost for a clinic hour was $70 with Colby. She was very good and started my massage face up which is my favorite…..BONUS. Enjoyed my massage and tipped well in cash which I know is always preferred. If I were local id return for sure.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I chose Lovely to give me a massage. She was professional, she did a proper intake, and her constant deep pressure was amazing. She hit trigger points and she constantly checked on me to make sure the massage was going well. I will recommend Lovely to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: If you want to learn massage, this is the school to go to. I went here not only once but twice! First, for my certificate of massage and then for the advanced program. I loved everything about this school. Whether it be talking with the owners while touring the school to the financial aid and teachers. I have been able to use what I have learned as a professional massage therapist since 2015. I have been able to help guide my clients into a state of better diagnoses and well-being. I have been able to re educate my clients in understanding that there is so much more to massage than relaxing. It's maintenance for the body and enrichment for the mind and soul. The teachers were so nice and well-informed of the ways of the world. Teaching me to think outside of the box and, most importantly, body mechanics. Recently, I saw a video reel on Instagram and just remembered the good memories of going there and the pure ✨️INSPIRATION✨️ I had.

Fantastic experience: Maryflow (sp?) the therapist who worked on me was superb. She worked on my focus areas with expertise and it's carrying through to today. I still feel great.

Fantastic experience: Great place, they have a hot tub which is perfect for getting loose before your massage so make sure you arrive extra early, like 20-30 mins. There is a wide spread of the quality of massage. We use students and save the difference, but it's nice to "splurge" and get the licensed sometimes.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment and they let us know an hour before hand that their staff no showed. We both took of work for this message. This is why people do not go to schools for treatment they are unreliable

Fantastic experience: I had my first massage here a few days ago. Brianna was awesome. She was very attentive, polite, and concerned with my comfort. Even though she is a relatively new student, she was great. Her mentor accompanied her during the check in process, but after that Brianna did a very professional massage on her own. I have already scheduled a future appointment with her. I also loved being in the vintage building in which the academy is housed. Based on this experience, I highly recommend the Academy of Natural Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place that restores your health and I throughly enjoyed my eyebrows wax. I especially enjoyed the relaxing environment in which it took place. My esthetician was both knowledgeable and comforting. My eyebrows turned out great and I found my new home for self care at the Academy of Natural Therapy. Negative experience: My husband and I have been going here for years without any issues. The last time we will no longer be coming back. I had gotten into a car accident and informed them prior. After I was completely undressed the manager decided he needed to talk to me and that was not the place and felt super uncomfortable. We will no longer be coming back this place is a joke for anything that you actually need a massage in. Needless to say I was actually able to get a massage from someone else who didn’t deny me.

Fantastic experience: I was able to limit my education to just Reflexology which I was excited and surprised about. I learned so much and I loved the hands on that was offered with each class.

Positive experience: This is a small school with a very friendly and caring staff. I have learned a great amount from the teachers and through their curriculum, which is just a little dated and is in the process of being updated, and although I have had a few hiccups and disagreements along the way, Jennifer and other members of the facility have gone out of their way to correct problems, help meet my needs as a student, show me compassion and forgiveness, and encourage my success. Fantastic experience: The academy has several great massage therapists on staff. They also have a steam room where you can warm up before your massage. They have great hours throughout the week so you can always find a time. The waiting room is comfortable too.

Fantastic experience: Very Welcoming Staff at the front desk I made the mistake of booking an appointment at "opening time" 9am.... I want to book again when I have time to take advantage of the hot tub.... Heather was Wonderful...and I hope she's available for my next appointment

Everyone was extremely nice and I'm glad that I got to be a part of helping a student grow into their career by receiving a much needed massage and giving sincere constructive criticism that will allow them to advance to becoming a licensed massage therapist .

Fantastic experience: Just got my second massage at the Academy, my masseuse was Tiffany and I can firmly say she gave me the most impressive massage I've ever had, most in the past have just tried to balance the whole massage but she found and targeted my biggest problem area (my shoulders/neck) she also massaged my Glutes (most in the past haven't) she even mentioned that they have a salt water pool that can be used for free and that I could show up early to use it before a massage I was impressed throughout and I cannot remember the last time my neck and shoulders felt this good(even after just one session)

Fantastic experience: When I decided that I wanted to be a massage therapist this was the only school that I would go to and I am so happy that I did. This was a completely different career than what I was currently in, to say I was nervous would be an understatement. On top of building skills and knowledge this place built my confidence in massage and all aspects of my life. I came out of school an improved person. I can't thank my teachers and the staff enough.

Fantastic experience: I did a lot of research on massage schools in my area before choosing the Academy. I chose ANT for its reputation and accreditations. Little did I know the year I spent on my education would be the most transformative year of my life. From the moment I walked in for my initial interview to the moment of graduation, I was surrounded by supportive, knowledgeable, and caring administrators, instructors, mentors, and fellow students. I know that I’ve been given the skills and education to go out and be a successful therapist.

Fantastic experience: Nothing stopped the pain in my shoulder until I got the massage. I had the message, took 10 min in the pool and then fell asleep. When I woke up, the pain in my shoulder was gone and I could breathe without pain.

Positive experience: I had the pleasure of experiencing Eliza's Touch through a massage given to the employees at our office for Mental Health awareness month. The ladies who came in to provide the services were extremely friendly , professional ‍ and shared conversation with us talk. The massage lasted about 10 minutes and was well worth the break time used to get to get it. I will definitely go in person to experience it at the school itself and I'm super excited to go into the pool ‍♂️. All in all this was a great experience, the ladies were clean , chairs were well spaced and overall this was a great experience .The reason why I gave four stars is due to no calming music was present. This is my personal preference, I'm not sure about anybody else's but as a consumer I would have liked some calming music. Great experience Academy of Natural Therapeutic Massage .

Positive experience: Love Heather and her massage. The “Free” salt water therapy pool is not working more than it is working. Management and owners are struggling to keep things “afloat” come on you can do better, buyer be ware

Negative experience: They can't abide by their own hours and often times close early. My wife and I have shown up countless times and they were closed hours earlier than their posted times, which has been going on for years. They've even had attitude about it on the rare times they actually answer their phones. They have a large hot tub that isn't always warm, like their hours its a gamble. I've given up on this place as a result. I respectfully and without an entitled attitude emailed them with my concern to never have gotten a response.

Positive experience: Have to share the details of my experience.. went to inquire about attending via my GI Bill as I am disabled veteran.. however they seem to strongly discourage veterans from attending here.. they will ask you a lot of personal and health questions with it seems the intention of discouraging you from attending.. when you talk to them about using the GI Bill they basically tell you that you cannot use it here as it requires them to work with someone they prefer not to work with to process your gi bill paperwork.. may be a good massage school but they do not seem to want any veterans here. Currently as of 5/26/2021 veterans cannot use GI bill here.

Fantastic experience: I am an alumni of the Massage Therapy Program at the Academy. Like many journey's in life you learn a lot. At the time of my maturation in this program, I most definitely took it for granted for a period of time. I know, looking back almost two years post-graduation, there are a bounty of lessons learned that have come to be an amazing benefit to my overall growth and well-being as a professional and as a standard human being. The education provided is a gift. The connections made are a blessing. I am proud to call the Academy of Natural Therapy my Alma Mater; when I haven't been able to be proud of a place of instruction prior to my enrollment in their program. The faculty and staff see you where you are at and encourage you to become the strongest version of yourself without forcing you to fit a certain "mold." Even if I am slightly biased, the standard of professionalism set in place here are above and beyond anything I could have asked for as an example. Anyone who enters the facility; either as a student or client; will experience such a beneficial feeling of warmth and care that could possibly alter the direction of your life from that moment forward, even if it doesn't hit you immediately. I will always support and recommend the program that Dorothy Mongan has set in motion at the Academy of Natural Therapy.

She also has a very calming vibe that made it easy to relax and breath which is important because I tend to tense up during massages which then defeats the whole purpose. Negative experience: I asked for help with my right shoulder and she started with my neck and spent too much time on that area. then rushed though the rest of my massage because she ran out of time. She maybe spent 2 min on my right shoulder. She also didn't warm the lotion before putting it on my back. It was a very cold day out and the room wasn't very warm either. Not very Pleasant. I figured getting a licensed massage therapist I wouldn't have this problem. Overall the worst massage I've ever gotten.

Negative experience: I was pretty disappointed in my chair massage. I told my therapist *I believe her name was Heather* I like it hard and to go harder several times. Frustrating to pay $35 for a massage my 100 year old grandma could give me. I've had better free 10 minute chair massages The salt pool was amazing, and the ladies at the front desk were great.

Negative experience: If I could give a -5 stars that’s what I would give but I can’t so you get 1!!! I called the massage school and asked if they offered a specific service. When they told me they did not I asked them if they could refer me to somebody ?? the exact words out of the mouth of a lady named DEB were “NO IM SORRY I DO NOT.” When a doctor cannot offer services he always gives referrals this woman was so greedy for our money She bluntly and quickly throughout an answer benefiting only her and your school. She didn’t even give a second thought at denying my child of services that she so desperately needed..... I hung up the phone with her crying!!!! DEB I wish you well and have a great weekend.

Negative experience: Terrible customer experience. I am a disabled veteran, and wasn't able to make makenit to my appointment due to health issues. The representative left a voice-mail saying they were going to charge me without me being there. I will not recommend this place

Negative experience: My wife and I booked a couples massage over the phone 24 hours before my wife's birthday. We were told nothing about a cancellation policy when we booked the appointment and they have nothing on their website about cancellation. An emergency came up and we had to cancel. We called 4 hours early so they could fill the vacancy for the therapists. They charged us 50% cancellation ($60.00) fee. Had the emergency prevented us calling, they would have charged us 100% of the appointment. We have been a customer for several years since they were in Eaton. Makes no difference to them if your a repeat customer or not. We will not ever use their services again. Be careful because if you used a credit card, they keep it on file and will charge it.

Fantastic experience: I had bad pain at my surgery area and it comes and goes vary by weather and different things at times and both visit on June and recent past week there the massage therapist was knowledgeable enough to fix my pain area. My last visit gave me relief from pain for at least 2 to 3 months.

Fantastic experience: Nick Buckley does an amazing job at understanding and treating the route cause of the pain/issue you are experiencing. He is always striving to learn and implement new techniques that will help his clients. You can tell he really cares and wants to help people recover and be in the best condition they can be. He has really helped me with a lower back injury, and I am already seeing substantially better results than I have experienced with other massage therapists. I would highly recommend Nick for your future massage therapy needs!
