Fantastic experience: I have been attempting to rehab an injury involving my sciatica, piriformis, and related muscles. The process has been ongoing for 3 months and has been very frustrating and actually a bit scary, considering the consequences if not successful. Surgery. I've been working with Ashley Waterman for the past 3 weeks. While my previous providers, physical therapist, chiropractors, surgeons, have all been helpful in one way or another I wasn't achieving results that would get me back to a healthy active lifestyle. Activities were shortened and pain was a constant partner. After 3 weeks with Ashley, I believe we're finally turning a corner. She has been very flexible and she listens to what I say. She trusts I know my body and works diligently to find methods, treatments, and treatment combinations to help me he only hip and overcome the pain and physical limitations my injury has caused. I'm not out of the woods yet but I trust I'm on the right track will get me back to good health and all the activities I've been missing.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a consultation in early January to diagnose a hip issue that I was experiencing. Kaitlyn Ivanov was my assigned therapist, and she had a great approach, quickly narrowing down the list of plausible issues and providing me with some strategies. In my case, the issue was clearly exacerbated by overtraining, but she didn't jump to eliminating exercise (running), but instead worked me through a combination of exercises, strength training and shock wave therapy. My hip responded well to the treatment, and I believe he shockwave therapy was a key ingredient to breaking up scar tissue and accelerating healing. Range of motion improved 50% through treatment and I was able to run my Spring marathon. Kaitlyn's disposition and approach was perfect throughout the process and she worked with me as a partner in the rehab process seeking feedback from me every step of the way. Excellent experience with her, and the whole facility is great. Pricing was clear and transparent and we maintained a good open dialog about my insurance, my HSA and what out of pocket costs were looking like. In the current healthcare environment it's important to have a team that is pragmatic with their approach, working with you to make sensible trade-offs, keeping an eye on the bigger picture. The whole team was great, I recommend them without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: For almost a year I’ve been living with severe SI pain. I decided to try something different to hopefully help me and called this chiropractic practice. After just the first visit, my pain was greatly diminished. After the second visit, the pain was completely gone. This is the best pain-free week I’ve had in a very long time. Dr Lovelace, Dr Houle, the PT I also saw, Hannah, and the assistants are all so wonderful!

Negative experience: No accountability. I'm giving 2 stars because I've had great experiences in the past and I've referred friends. I was a patient for a few years. Recently, I had a difficult time due to a bad adjustment. I was advised to go to urgent care by the chiropractor. Urgent care sent me to the ER for fear of a carotid artery dissection. By that point, I had had migraines, neck pain and a throbbing ear for a week. Without giving the longest story ever, even though it turned out ok, Dr Houle would only correspond via email and seemed to be concerned only with not taking responsibility. I wasn't looking for much. I wanted a phone call to discuss what was happening. She could've said, come in, let's have a look. Instead, I got a call from someone at the desk saying to either make an appointment or email her. Eventually, we emailed back and forth and she agreed to evaluate me for no charge. Only after I offered it as an idea. The whole expensive and painful experience (of over 2 weeks) could've kept me a client if there was a smidge of care. A few days after the ER, I was starting to feel better. I emailed to just inform her what had happened. The reply was essentially 'thanks for telling me.' All I needed was a call and some accountability that it was perhaps a bad idea to adjust my upper vertebrae on my neck without permission. The damage was muscle spasm and nerve impingement, nothing dire. But, it cost me a couple of weeks of pain and not doing my usual. It also cost me a lot of money, but that's not her fault. If you go, expect decent care. Just advocate for yourself and know you're on your own if something goes wrong.

Fantastic experience: I am an avid runner and had been unable to run more than 4 miles 2-3 times per week for nearly 18 months until I decided to check this place out (my last half marathon was April 2014). I cycled through various Chiros and Physical Therapists with no luck. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Lovelace, I immediately got that "this person KNOWS what I'm talking about and can fix me" feeling and the rest is History. It's only been about 7 weeks since I started getting help here and yesterday I ran 12 miles and can't wait for the Maine Half Marathon in a couple of weeks. I also thought I would never be able to run a full marathon again already and was ready to accept that as fact and move on to swimming or something else that I don't enjoy just as much as running. At 29, this was a depressing thought lol. Stop wasting your time and get help from the best - you'll quickly forget about the dark days... Also, make sure you do your homework if they give you Pilates exercises or other exercises - they help prevent what landed you there in the first place.
