Fantastic experience: We are extremely happy with the therapy services received at ProSports. Max has dedicated a great amount of time to our daughter’s well being . Our daughter enjoys her sessions since she feels so much better afterwards.

Negative experience: As someone who has handled workers’ compensation claims for many years, I’ve rarely encountered such poor customer service. Over the course of a week, I called daily to schedule an appointment for an injured employee, only to face dismissive attitudes, resistance, and staff who appeared disengaged and unmotivated. My goal was to ensure our injured employee received timely and quality care, yet the process was anything but smooth. Rather than providing assistance, the manager seemed more focused on lecturing me about how workers’ compensation works—a system I’m well-versed in. It’s unfortunate that this level of service falls so far below expectations for a business centered on care. In the end, I chose to transfer the case to another facility where our employee could receive the efficient support they deserve. If you value prompt, compassionate care for yourself, I recommend seeking an alternative provider.

Fantastic experience: This place has the most experienced, professional, and fun PT’s! The office staff is also very professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: I love this place.The staff are excellent. The environment is friendly and the therapists are top notch. I went there for shoulder rehabilitation and had an excellent result. Now I am back for post knee surgery rehab and my therapy is going very well. This rehab facility has earned my highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: Had 2 knee surgery this year and found this place after the 2nd one. I asked for someone specializing in knees and was recommended to David. It was a right decision as he was super knowledgeable, confident and encouraging. I regained full ROM and almost all of muscle loss after just 2 months and now have stopped going to PT and continue to do exercises at home. Nathan and Greg were also instrumental to my recovery and I’m very thankful to all of them.

I had my shoulder surgery in April of 2023, Liz has been helping me get better throughout all these months, she's nothing less than amazing. She's great, very knowledgeable, kind, patient and a good listener. Of course, the rest of the staff and the young ladies at the front desk are great and helpful. Positive experience: They have great physical therapist but a terrible billing department. Their billing department is late to send bills, so if your deductible resets on a new year, you may not be aware that your visits increase in cost significantly. Even after I did settle my bill, I would still receive messages that I did need to complete another payment. I had to call them multiple times to get this fixed, when it was an issue on their end. They were frustrating to work with.

Fantastic experience: When I need physical therapy, I always call SCAR. I followed Jim Herkimer to SCAR after his excellent care for my daughter’s sprained ankle over 20 years ago. Knowledgeable and effective.

Fantastic experience: Came in to SCAR because arthritis in my spine was causing pain in my back when I walked. The PT they have me doing is definitely having a positive impact, my back pain is basically gone when I walk. My intern Chloe was the person who taught me the things to do when walking that keeps the pain at bay. The therapists at SCAR really know their stuff and are very good at what they do-I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to SCAR after being ran over by an SUV and fracturing my spine in 4 places. I’ve been working with David for a few months now, and I never could have imagined the progress I’ve made with his help. David takes the time to listen to your concerns every visit, always asking how I feel between visits and switching up the routine if necessary. He built me a custom plan that met the very specific needs of my work requirements, and I’m happy to say I went from barely being able to stand for an hour to jogging with a weighted vest. There’s definitely more work to be done, but I’m amazed with my progress so far, and I attribute it to the SCAR team.

Fantastic experience: The care and community my family has experienced at SCAR is beyond exceptional. Jim and Jeff developed unique care plans for three of us going through orthopedic issues in the last 12+ months. The providers and assistants are thorough and engaged. In addition, I have been seeing Margaret for physical training over the last year. She has carefully helped me regain strength and confidence following multiple injuries. Margaret's knowledge of the body and genuine interest in her client's well-being show in her daily decisions and actions. To top off the experience, the support staff at SCAR are friendly and helpful. The gym at SCAR is a hidden gem!

Fantastic experience: I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my physical therapy with the Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation (SCAR) team in Orange and specifically Brent Talley. He’s been extremely attentive in understanding the issue I’m dealing with (shoulder) and providing the needed care, advice, and treatment for my long term health and success. He’s easy to talk to (one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met) AND HE LISTENS … that’s key! I really appreciate him. The entire team there is really nice. I had an opportunity to speak with the SCAR CEO (Jim) on my first visit and we talked about an elimination diet to help with some gut issues that I’ve been dealing with. He was very helpful and sent me details and a plan on the topic that day. The ladies upfront even refer to me by name - and that was just after Day 1 (which I hope is a good thing! ). Fantastic experience: My mother was referred to see physical therapist Elizabeth Cherry at SCAR by her orthopedic doctor for an injury that was not sports related. We have finished three sessions thus far and Elizabeth and the supporting staff have been excellent. She has a high level of knowledge, patience, care, and is very attentive to my mother's injury. She will pinpoint the exact area where the pain is coming from and work on it from there. During each session my mother receives very soothing massage techniques by Elizabeth and is taught several exercises to help rehab the injured body part. We very much look forward to continuing to see my mother's recovery through this physical therapy over the next couple of weeks. I highly recommend SCAR and Elizabeth Cherry even for physical injuries that are not sports related. It is also nice to see that they always disinfect their equipment after each patient visit.

Fantastic experience: I gained strength and flexibility in physical therapy to deal with a injury to my cervical spine. I have also had assistance in developing strength in my hip and shoulder. These guys are great.

Fantastic experience: This team knows their stuff, I first found them upon moving here from Texas to address a knee issue, then joined as a fitness member as they taught me a lot about functional strength and stretching to help my sport of triathlon. I came back with my son after his ACL surgery because they rehab all levels of fitness from sports to the older generation with knowledge and individual care. In 2016 I rehabbed my whole body after a shark attack and used the personal training services after to strengthen me for my journey back to health. I am now going for an arthritis issue in my knee and have faith that I will be well taken care of. They do it all from head injuries to every body part in between.

Fantastic experience: SCAR in Tustin is the best PT institute that I have gone to. In the past, I have prescribed by my ortho and primary physical to various PT. It was a disappointment every time. 1 of them even mad at me when I told them no pain reduction after 6 sessions. The PT wanted me to change my pain scale definition. I spent the $ and time for weeks to seek help, not to massage any PT's feeling. However, my exp with SCAR has been different. Brent my PT in SCAR, has been supportive and helpful. With his patience, I have been getting results. After my lower back, I am treated by him on my knees. After this, I will need him to help my thumbs. SCAR staffs are very friendly and polite as well. I will continue to go there and highly recommend it to everybody.

Fantastic experience: My mother is a physical therapist from the era where pain means “it’s working.” I have always dreaded physical therapy. These folks are NOT, and my appointments were something I looked forward to. They will have you pushing your boundaries to get you back to tip top shape, but they are very attentive to what you tell them and what your body is telling them. I went here for physical therapy both before and after having spinal surgery. They are so kind and so present with you. They listen and give feedback. I always felt well cared for, and if I was having a bad day with pain, the therapy was tailored to what I could manage - even if that was just tension-releasing massage for my poor back muscles. When my wife needed PT, we brought her here. I’d go back in a heartbeat, and I’d recommend it to anyone I care about!

He is so incredibly knowledgeable about the human body and how it works. He is kind, caring and sensitive to how you are feeling. He knows just how far to push you to get great results! Fantastic experience: I began training with Leo about 2 ½ years ago. Leo’s number one priority with his clients is safety – he asks anyone who is new to training with him if there are any injuries and/or concerns he should be aware of before beginning any exercise/work out. Leo is very conscious of proper form & technique – he is quick correct your form or provide you with a modified movement if needed. He focuses on quality over quantity. Leo has been able to help me over come IT band issues and has stressed the importance of stretching. Above all, Leo’s training is challenging yet still enjoyable. I appreciate his ability to plan a workout based on what his clients prefer to focus on. Since working with Leo, my running has improved tremendously – I’ve been able to run further distances, run more frequently, and improve my running times.

Fantastic experience: I am so in love with this facility! I had ACL surgery in May and started coming here and June and it's been such a great experience. My physical therapist Liz is just a joy to be around but she kicks my butt getting my knee healed! Being a PT patient allows me to use their gym for a very low monthly fee so I'm always here working out. I love it because everyone can help me accommodate my knee in full body workouts. I also do a stretch class with Leo and that was so helpful as well! You pace yourself the whole class, but it's a full body stretch and workout. After a one hour class my knee felt so relaxed and stretched. I love their classes, their PT, their gym! Everything about I can't stop raving! Wether you need physical therapy, a clean friendly gym, or group classes this is the place to check out. 24 hour fitness trainers get a crash course over a weekend and call themselves trainers, everyone here is beyond qualified, experienced, and motivated to help you!!!! I LOVE SCAR SPORTS CONDITION AND REHABILITATION!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of SCAR for over 8 years and it's truly the best sports gym in the OC . Sarah is THE best ATC - fine tuning my workouts, as well as working me through injuries ! Thanks to SCAR I've been able to complete 2 marathons and (14) 1/2 marathons!!
