Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with my experience at Evolution Weight Loss and Hormones. I initially felt hopeful after my first virtual appointment with Erin, where she reviewed my prior lab work and made me feel heard in a way doctors hadn't. I decided to proceed with her treatment plan, which included a very expensive up-front payment and a regimen of numerous supplements—around 30 pills and powders each day. Soon after starting, I experienced severe nausea and stomach issues that left me bedridden. Despite following up with Erin, who suggested removing some supplements, the side effects persisted. When I later emailed to share my concerns and cancel any upcoming appointments, I never received a response, leaving me with thousands of dollars in unusable supplements. While my initial interactions with Erin were supportive, my overall experience has been financially and physically draining, leaving me worse off than when I started.

Fantastic experience: I heard about Erin/Evolution through a friend of a friend. I had an autoimmune disease, and a few other health issues when I had my first appointment with Erin in Feb 2024. Here I am 8 months later just after having my lab comparison and I was shocked to see my ANA (autoimmune blood test) came back negative! My other issues are in check as well and pleased with my results. I love my new finding of “functional medicine “ - to not just exist in the range of blood work, but actually get to the optimal number and feel the best I possibly can. I was skeptical in the beginning, but now I feel empowered and I owe it all to Erin and her team. Erin is passionate about what she does and is very thorough. Fantastic experience: When I first saw “POTS treatment” on the Evolution website I was more than skeptical. For the last 15 years, I’ve had my pediatric cardiologist (since that’s the only dr in my area who knows POTS) telling me that I’ll “never be normal.” 

I was always scared of going anywhere without my midodrine, sodium, and atenolol.

POTS is completely debilitating. Waking up dizzy, getting sick after going to the gym or playing tennis. Not being able to spend long outside without overheating. Having my heart rate jump to 130+ every time I simply stood up was so exhausting. Just doing the dishes was exhausting. Taking a hot bath triggered an episode. It affected all aspects of my life. So when Erin said I would feel better in 3 weeks I honestly didn’t believe her. But I tried it anyways feeling desperate to be able to live a life without so many limitations. The first 2 weeks of the diet & supplements was really hard and annoying but I genuinely started to feel more clear headed and thought it might be working. 

At week 3, I checked my standing heart rate every morning to see if it had worked yet, it was always 130+ (just from standing!) Towards the end of the week I was cleaning and noticed I wasn’t out of breath like usual with bad palpitations. 

Then on EXACTLY the 21st day, my standing heart rate was showing as 99! And not climbing! Since then my “average walking heart rate” on my health app is continuing to go down. And I feel amazing! 

I can’t believe I don’t have to live like that anymore. 

Right after this I’m leaving my cardiologist a review for never checking me for this kind of cause. I can’t believe I lived like that for so long.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are amazing. My wife and I participated in the Candida Gut Protocol Program. We both experienced anxiety on a regular basis. After the first two weeks we are ecstatic to report that our anxiety and depression have decreased significantly and our moods have improved dramatically! This has been and will continue to be LIFE CHANGING!

Negative experience: I went to Evolution after someone I knew had a positive experience with them. My experience was FAR from positive and their supplements wrecked my body and hormones. I spoke with them as I had hives and a rash that wouldn’t go away. I was already eating an anti inflammatory and anti histamine diet and my hormones were completely fine. I started on their supplements in June of this year and by august my hormones were wrecked and I have not had a proper cycle since. Not only did they mess up my hormones, the supplements caused the hives to become 20x worse than that were before. The “ purging period “ or cleansing period never ended for me. When I called Erin to let her know her supplements were not working for me after 3 months, she told me “ to go back to my perfect little life” before I started with them.I called back as I was appalled at how rude Erin was to me, and no one ever got back to me. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I am starting Week 4 of my plan tomorrow, and I am so happy I chose to do the program for myself. I’m down 17 lbs. in 3 weeks. I wake up at 4:45am feeling like I’m 6 years old on Christmas morning, I can jump out of bed and get moving. My energy lasts all day, my gut is clearing up, the pain I had gotten used to in my joints is gone, my periods aren’t killing me, and I no longer feel like I need a nap every day. Erin got me on a different type of thyroid pill for the first time in 25 years because she requested about 30 blood work results that your family physician will never run for you. Fantastic experience: I went to Evolution and it literally changed my life. I’d had multiple miscarriages and felt like my hormones were just “off”. Dr Erin ran labs and she discovered my progesterone was so low, I would not be able to carry a pregnancy without a progesterone supplement/ cream. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank God enough for helping me find Erin and her staff at Evolution Weight Loss and Hormones when I needed them the most. I have been through a long journey of medical conditions and unexplainable symptoms for more than twenty years. I have seen many doctors, and none of these doctors have been able to help me with my symptoms or giving me a specific diagnosis. The worst and most terrifying part of this ongoing journey was to see how my doctors continued to prescribe medications that could cause severe side effects without having a proper diagnosis. Fantastic experience: Erin Bolton and her staff are amazing! My 17 year old daughter was struggling with stomach issues. We had no idea what it was.. she couldn't eat anything without getting sick to her stomach! I would like to mention that she is an athlete at a healthy weight with no underlying issues. We cut out Gluten and dairy, but she would still have issues. She was always sick, missing school, sports and social activities. We had a consult with Erin and after asking my daughter several questions, she immediately new what the problem was and recommended a regimen to get her gut back on track. I was amazed at the cause of the issue and that she discovered it just by our conversation. Fantastic experience: Can’t thank Dr. Erin Bolton enough for helping me get my hormones balanced again! It is refreshing to have a doctor look at my lab work holistically and connect all the dots. I have been under the care of an physician for over 10 years for my PCOS condition and yet when Dr. Bolton reviewed my lab results it looked as if my condition had gone untreated! This was a shock for me to hear since I have been on several expensive prescriptions to supposedly address all the symptoms of this condition for more than 10 years! After two months if being on Dr. Bolton’s treatment program, I see and feel noticeable changes in my body (my PCOS belly has significantly trimmed down and the systemic inflammation has diminished). All this without really changing my exercise habits. In addition I no longer crave sugar like I before, which feels liberating! Negative experience: I did not have a positive experience with this clinic because they charge an arm and a leg Erin has few credentials and so has to pay doctors and that price is passed on to the consumers. At $300 a pop who can afford to get their lab test read by their doc? Also my primary doctor interpreted the lab results differently than their dr did and I have been with him for years and trust him and he costs me nothing because insurance pays

Fantastic experience: Five out of Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wanted to provide my review of my personal experience at Evolution in Land O'Lakes. I first met with Erin Bolton (Owner & Functional Medicine Specialist) at the end of February 2019. I was grossly over-weight - close to 300 lbs. We discussed several weight loss options, and she and I agreed on a program that was the best fit for me. The change in my diet and will power was not easy, but Erin gave me the tools and guidance that helped me keep on track. In 45 days, I lost more than 50 pounds. I have been off the strict program for almost a month and I have lost another 5 to 10 lbs. All of this was done with no exercise. I am about to start exercising again, and will continue to improve my healthy lifestyle. Erin is such a valuable resource, patient, a great listener, and so smart. In addition, I suggest that you get your lab (blood, saliva) work analyzed, so that you can find out what chemical imbalances (vitamin, cholesterol, hormonal, etc) that you may have and be able to customize these deficiencies instead of paying thousands of dollars at GNC like me buying every weight loss pill and numerous supplements over the years. Erin will tell you what you need that will make you feel energetic, mentally sharp, and totally balanced. Erin's staff is also amazing and so supportive, especially Katie Milanes (Operations Mgr).
