This is gonna be my first google review in my entire life, and the reason I’m writing this, is to help anyone out there who has been suffering from constant terrible headaches. I work in technology where laptop and monitors are required devices for my 8 to 10 hours (per day) job. Last year in November, I visited Dr Jake’s office because I had a terrible headache that hadn’t been healed even after taking pain killers for 2 days. Dr. Jake took X-Rays from my spine and he patiently explained where the problem was and he even marked my X-ray with lines to demonstrate how he could help me get my neck back in right position and posture with regular adjustments. He was positive that the root cause of my headache was the pressure on my spinal cord due to my unadjusted spine (mainly my neck). I got my adjustment that day, and felt better the day after. I didn’t schedule any follow up appointments since I was traveling and then got super busy with work for a few months. But it didn’t take me long to get that terrible awful headache once again! The difference was, this time it knocked me down for 4 days and I spent an entire week in bed with having pain all over my body. No medication worked for me, Advil, ibuprofen, cold medicines… I was debating between going to an urgent care or calling Dr.Jake’s office. And I’m glad I chose Dr. Jake. I was crying on the phone explaining to him how bad my headache was, again, as always, he assured me he could help! ‍ I arrived at his office after 20 minutes, signed up and welcomed by nice caring staff. They showed me how to warm up my back and spine in 5 minutes. Then, Dr.Jake did his magic adjustments. My goodness, I couldn’t believe all that pain I had tolerated for days was going away gradually in 10 minutes. Dr. Jake asked me to stay in his office a little longer because he wanted to make sure I was going to leave his office in a safe and sound condition. Now that I’m writing this review, it’s been 6 hours since I left his office and I feel very well and I don’t have any headache at all! If you ever experienced something like that, please trust your chiropractor and listen to what he/she recommends. I will definitely take my adjustment sessions seriously this time. Nothing is more important than living a healthy painless life. THANKS to Dr. Jake and his lovely staff!

Fantastic experience: I have gone to literally dozens of chiropractors in my life. The 1st best one was in Columbia, SC, after a car wreck. I was fortunate to have health insurance that covered my treatment. With regular adjustments I got to the point that I could tell the minute I got out of alignment. I moved to Florida and went through several chiropractors but I wasn't consistent. When I met Dr. Jake of Marshall Family Chiropractic at a work health fair I found my next great chiropractor! My insurance did not cover the cost but I was fortunate enough to be able to pay in advance for a treatment plan (although there were payment options). After going through the treatment I went from 2 to 3 migraine aspirins per day to zero or one. Once again I knew immediately when I was out of alignment. I had also purchased the exercise package that included a small ball. I ended up at work having to sit for hours and my back and knees were killing me. I took the ball to work and for the next 6 years sat on it everyday at my desk and it helped. (You might be able to use one of the big balls but I am vertically challenged and would be a "weeble that would fall off"!) Skip ahead and I moved 1 hour away from Jacksonville so I quit going for my maintenence adjustments. Big mistake! I lost all of my progress. I went back last week for 2 adjustments and today when I woke up I knew I needed another one. Bottom line: It's just too far to drive an hour each way but if I lived in Jacksonville or even closer I would trust my Chiropractic care to Dr. Jake with no hesitation! If I can't find Chiropractic care close to home I'll drive the 2 hours because he's worth it and so is my health!

Fantastic experience: If you're thinking about starting to see a chiropractor and are looking for an amazing doctor and friendly voice to talk to when you finally call, this is definitely the place!! I'm so big on kind healthcare professional especially since doing anything involving a doctor causes me anxiety. Dr Jake and Janet are absolutely wonderful to see every time come into the office. My past chiropractors i've seen haven't been nearly as thorough as Dr. Jake. My initial appointment started with xrays so I can properly be treated, each visit I actually feel like he cares about me feeling better and improving my herniated discs in my neck and lower back. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jake educates on how chiropractic work is not only about getting adjustments, it's mostly about healing. He sets up group sessions to educate you on chronic conditions so you're set up for success. I'm being treated for scoliosis, daily headaches and migraines. After 2 weeks of treatment, I've noticed I don't have daily headaches and fewer migraines. Staff are all friendly especially Jack . Definitely no regrets!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Dr. Jake for 8 years. I have gone to other Chiropratic in Jax's. before Marshall for only a few visits, only to be very unhappy. I have been very happy so far. I will say you will have a good time when you go to them. It is not like anywhere eles. You visit with the others that are in for their treatmen. You all do execise, sitting on a red ball, that is on your chair, to warn up. TV going with good things on health.

Fantastic experience: This is really long...but y'all need to hear me out. Let me just say, that coming here has truly changed my life for the better. MFC has by far been the best investment I could possibly make in the seven years since my accident and my problems began. I have been a patient since June 2018, and the Marshalls have gotten me to a place I never thought I would be again physically, mentally, and even emotionally. After my accident in March of 2011, I was told I had at least three slipped discs (which without proper care had since progressed to seven), and had to limit my physical activity. The pain was intense, so I couldn't run anymore without being in pain. Work stress took over, and I took up smoking later to numb some of the pain that year...a stupid decision I now regret. I fell into depression on and off with my limited mobility, and only sought chiropractic help when the pain got bad enough to disrupt my sleep for months at a time. The other chiropractors would only fix the symptoms (sometimes), and never the actual problems. Finally, as of June of this year, a friend of mine convinced me that I should finally get the help and care I deserved after my smoking habits, pain, lack of mobility and depression took a turn for the worse. Although I was rightly skeptical, I decided that I was going through with it and haven't looked back. Two months later, my results have been incredible. I no longer wake up with my mid and lower back in agony, which is a feeling I never thought I'd witness again. I don't even need the Advil anymore, and I had taken so much of it in the past that my kidneys were acting up. No more!! With this new found motivation, I decided to quit smoking recently and started working out and running again, and the pain I had on a scale of 1 to 10 has gone from a 9 to a 2 after this activity!! Because I can now work out again with much less pain, my mood has skyrocketed, and my self-esteem with it. My productivity at work has also improved, and my boss has noticed. My posture has also improved. I walked in the gym the other day, and a friend of mine told me that they were seeing a new me, and loved it. The Marshalls are a loving Christian family and wanted to see me well again. They didn't just give me an adjustment plan to follow (which I have committed to completing), but also have helpful programs on the side, like their detox program, which has taught me new healthy eating habits to energize me for the day. They also had great substitutions for everyday household items (cleaning) that are traditionally toxic, and I now have a new bathroom cleaner and deodorant I swear by! They also have workout programs on their facility (Max T3) that are effective and controlled, and a massage therapist (Shawntrena) who is beyond skilled at what she does, and saves me from hunting around town for someone capable of relieving my muscle pain without making my back pain worse. For those of you who want to find the long term solution to any spinal pain or issues, or simply want your family to be healthy, happy, and prevent many illnesses a healthy spine can prevent, I recommend this place above all others. The atmosphere is always positive, cheerful, and makes you feel at home. I guarantee that if you are consistent with the program and are as determined as I am at reaching the light at the end of the tunnel, the Marshalls will help you get there as they are with me. Doctor Jake, Doctor Jim, future Doctor Nicole, and Treena, I tip my hat to you for giving me the hope I thought I had lost. The power is definitely on.

Fantastic experience: We go to Drs. Marshall (there are two brothers who are both chiropractors at the practice, as well as their sister who is the practice manager) for my kids. We started with just one, but right now three kids see them. They love both doctors, and everybody at the practice who are all very kind, and welcoming. The practice is extremely clean, neat, and well run. My daughter's pediatrician recommended she see a chiropractor due to her axis/atlas being off, and they have made a big difference for her. Her brother had been complaining of back problems for over a year, lying on the floor in weird positions, etc. so we had him evaluated as well. Imagine our surprise to find out he has scoliosis (easily seen on the x-ray). He noticed a big change in his pain level in only a few weeks. The last to join was my eldest, whose neck and back bother him from too much gaming. He's the biggest fan of chiropractic care of the lot. As a Mom, I've seen real changes in their pain levels, posture, and range-of-motion. The prices are reasonable, as well. This was our family's first experience with chiropractic care; however, we were familiar with osteopathic manipulation. Highly recommended.

I've been under 3+ years of amazing care-- Improved immune system function, athletic performance, sleep, etc.. love the detox program. Fantastic experience: I could *literally* write a book about every single employee at MFC. This placed changed my life. I walked in with low back pain, stubborn weight I couldn't lose, and a completely skewed idea of what health is. Dr. Jake is the bee's knees, and I look forward to my adjustments every week. He is always eager to answer any questions I have and give sound advice. I haven't struggled with back pain since I started getting adjusted, and I was almost immediately able to drop the weight that kept hanging onto me despite many hours in the gym and healthy eating. And last but certainly not least, the educational talks Dr. Jake and Dr. Jim put on have changed the way I eat, clean, and shop. I detoxed my refrigerator, cabinets, cleaning supplies, makeup, and body/hair care completely. I have seen a huge difference in every aspect of my life. MFC is 100% an answer to prayer, and I am grateful to have learned about their mission.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Marshall chiropractic for several years. At one point I had to stop going due to my finances. My condition started to regress again and I was getting severe pain in my neck due to a deteriorating disc. Fortunately my finances changed for the better and I was able to start going to Dr. Jake again. Although it took time to get me back on track...Dr. Jake reassured me we were making progress. My neck had been so bad previously it was difficult for me to turn my head to the left due to extreme pain. After many, many adjustments and several specialized exercises(specific for my condition) I am pain free. I get to enjoy doing things that I couldn't for quite a while.
