Fantastic experience: I have only been going to the max for 3 weeks now and I am really loving the variety of workouts each time I go. The instructors are high energy and provide good help when I do need it. Each day having a different focus is also really cool and I like that element so each day will never be the same as the last! I do wish there were a few more class times during the day but other than that, I love the Max Challenge of NP and will miss it when returning to college:(

Fantastic experience: I joined The Max in 2017 after back surgery to get back into shape. I recovered quickly and found that the Max was my "new place" for exercise. The trainers are fantastic and I was able to modify the workouts post-surgery which was important. My fellow Max members are great--very supportive, and I look forward to my 7:00 am workouts now!

Fantastic experience: I have been in a plateau for about a month and decided I needed something to get the scale moving. I found out about the challenge on fb. The location is great and always clean. What I really like about this program is that they offer evening classes and there are different classes throughout the week for cardio and weights. The staff is also friendly and offer modifications when needed. Id recommend.

Fantastic experience: I won a challenge 5 years ago, I really liked working out at 5 am before work. I worked at my own pace and built my strength as I went along. I then stopped a bit due to my work schedule. After i retired this past year I started back as a legacy member and feel so much better. Fantastic experience: I came in to the Max not really knowing what to expect. I had always used a personal trainer in the past. This gym is so much more than I ever expected. The classes are fun and challenging. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. And the nutrition help was key to getting me back on track. I’ve lost 20 pounds, gained a ton of strength and endurance, and I feel better than I have in about 10 years.
Fantastic experience: I love the Max Challenge of NP! I have a yearly membership and go regularly. Workouts are at your own pace and there's never pressure of any kind but the trainers always encourage you to do your best. My favourite trainer is #coachHerick . He keeps changing up the workouts and keeping them fresh. I like how he always givesyou modifications to excercises or alternatives if you are not able to do a particular excercise due to any reason. Great trainers, friendly staff, convenient location, good choice of class timings.

Fantastic experience: April 2022 I joined the Maxx to get back on track with my fitness goals. In my 1st 10/week challenge I achieved great results. The encouragement and support from (shout out to Sarah) along the way was amazing. All the staff there go above and beyond to make it a great experience at every class for their clients! Fantastic experience: The MAX is the most amazing gym I’ve been a member of. I never enjoyed working out and now I genuinely look forward to going to the gym. Can't make a class well you can catch it live or stored in our virtual library. They have it all...The Max Challenge rules...see if there is one near you !
Fantastic experience: I've never been able to stick to any gym for more than 2 months because I get bored of gyms easily. Since I joined Max Challenge early this year, I've never had to make excuses to not go or felt any pressure to perform. I started the 10-week challenge that included diet coaching and workouts. I got excellent support on nutrition that's so doable that I'm still sticking to it. They have options to attend classes in-person, on Zoom, live class recordings or pre-recorded videos that I've used at a time that suits me. Definitely recommend Max Challenge!

Classes are tough, you will work hard, but time in class flies by. The trainers will help in providing alternate movement for you (as needed) based on how your body is feeling that day. Fantastic experience: Just finished my first 10 week Max Challenge. Was looking for a new gym as my former gym closed due to Covid. Found so much more - amazing trainers who are warm and welcoming to all, friendly and supportive people to work out with, spotless gym that feels safe and inviting. Never the same workout twice so its always fun and the ability to level up or level down for individual needs very easy to follow. The classes are so much fun! Really great program with tons of support and the trainers are very careful to make sure all excercises are being done in proper form to avoid injuries.

Fantastic experience: Lots of options for daily workouts - in-center, at home live, or pre-recorded. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. Herick is an accomplished competitive dancer and his workouts strengthen all muscle groups and are FUN! Nancy is so nice and has a great smile - her playlists are the perfect compliment to her total body workouts and she gets us pumped up on arm day! The MAX is all about exercise, nutrition, and RESULTS!
Fantastic experience: The MAX is a great place to work out. Throughout the pandemic I was able to continue my workout routine at home with pre-recorded and live ZOOM videos. The MAX of NP didn't skip a beat during the pandemic and supported our fitness, nutrition and health goals. I've been back to in-person classes since the spring, and I am comfortable with the proper safety precautions being taken. I enjoy the fun workouts and the daily accountability.

Fantastic experience: I joined the Max program in Oct 2019 and a few weeks into the program I knew that I would be staying on after the initial 10 week challenge that I signed up for. This program is a combination of a nutrition program and exercise. The nutrition program is not a fad diet but a wholesome program which ensure you get enough of your proteins, good fats, carbs and veggies. The classes are lots of fun and they ensure that they change things around enough to keep you motivated. I attended the classes at New Providence NJ. With the pandemic hitting , the center did an awesome job of moving classes virtual and went above and beyond to help with the nutrition program with loads of content on Facebook etc. I cannot recommend this program enough, its not just a fitness class its about switching to a healthier way of life.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the Max Challenge of New Providence for almost a year and a half now and I have nothing but great things to say about this center! Motivation is all I can think of when it comes to the Max. This is not just a regular gym with weights and machines. Once you walk in to this gym and become a member, even if you come is as a guest, the people in the class will welcome you like a family member. What caught my attention on their Facebook ads was it looked like regular people exercising in a group atmosphere and once I joined, I found it was exactly that! I like to think of it as your best P.E. class in school with all your friends. The Max Challenge makes exercise fun! Fantastic experience: Update for December 2021, COVID. Max challenge has continued to support everyone in person and remote, live via zoom or video on demand. Has continued to lead in safety precautions, innovate. evolve and motivate - I had been able to sustain my changes over 2021 using the program ongoing. Integrated the nutrition as ongoing way I eat. Again seeing more friends and acquaintances all comment on how healthy I look. How great my skin looks. Great program to get cardio and strengthening toning in 45 mins a day. Trainers, site manager and others in class and online really help support you. Nutritional program plus consistent activity gets results.

Fantastic experience: The Max Challenge Fitness Program is like no other and the Max of New Providence is my happy place. I joined in September 2018 and I even today I still look forward to each day. I still get excited like it’s my first day. The workout can be as intense or as low impact as you like. Everyone workout at their own fitness levels with just the right amount of push and motivation from the trainers. I personally have lost 29 lbs since I started, lots of inches lost and feel a whole world better, lighter, less cloudy and wonderful. Definitely a great place where you will see results if you put in the work. The nutrition is easy once you get the hang of it and everyone is so so nice. It’s definitely worth your investment!

Fantastic experience: I decided to join the MAX Challenge this past October and can’t say enough good things about this program. The MAX challenge of NP is such a welcoming place. The instructors and fellow MAXERS are so encouraging and motivating. It had been close to a decade since I had excercised regularly. I had thought about joining ‘gyms’ or excercise programs on more than one occasion but always felt intimidated because I wasn’t “fit” enough. I was afraid of being embarrassed by what I couldn’t do. That feeling did not exist at the MAX. I felt like I belonged from day one and never felt self conscious or less than. The instructors are so knowledgeable. They helped me to modify and do what I could. And as the weeks went by I was able to do more and more. I feel better now than I have in years and am proud of the lifestyle changes I made over the course of my first 10 week challenge. The nutritional education is fantastic. They have taken what can be overwhelming in terms of “eating healthy” and made it a step by step process which I was able to implement. I was able to lose 15 pounds and 8.5 inches over the course of 10 weeks and could not be happier. Clothing I haven’t worn in years is coming out from the back of my closet. I feel better. Fantastic experience: 10 Week MAX Challenge – One of Best Decisions Ever! MAX Challenge in New Providence and Union New Jersey offers an amazing and unique approach to Wellness and Weight Loss. They offer a program that combines a 45 minute exercise routine five days a week with a nutrition plan that represents an eating life change – NOT a diet. I took the leap and joined MAX 10 Week Challenge back at the end of September. I have been nothing short of ecstatic with that choice. MAX Challenge is a franchise concept geared and driven to assist individuals in efforts to become more physically conditioned, improved body toned and weight loss. In just 12 weeks, I have achieved all three and now continue on to even more improvement by extending my involvement with MAX beyond the 10 weeks. To date, I feel more energized and healthy; have lost more than 19 inches in five overall body areas of measurements and have lost 25 pounds. Allison, owner of both locations has created a family atmosphere that makes it fun and enjoyable. She know everyone by name. There is overt friendliness in all that they do. There are numerous exercise classes throughout the day that makes scheduling to attend extremely easy. Allison has great staff of managers and training instructors. One of her managers Sara, offered an extremely enlightening and educational approach to proper eating and shopping at a seminar one early Saturday morning at Whole Foods. Just another example of their taking a full committed interest in you achieving your goals and improving your overall health. Ron, my training instructor at the 7:30pm class in New Providence, is an overwhelming example of a great fitness instructor. He has been associated with MAX for over 2 years. His personal improvement is a testimony to the success of the program. Ron knows everyone in class and makes it personal. He recognizes each person’s level of ability and provides an exercise routine with modifications for all. He has a great way about him with regard to congratulating you for what you are doing as well as encouraging you to attempt to work harder. He exhibits a high level of energy throughout the whole class. It is become of him that I am encouraged to exercise beyond what I think my own capability might be. Every exercise lesson is ended with an inspirational message and encouragement to continue on and to become the best version of ourselves. We are constantly reminded that improved health, body toning and weight loss is a combination of both exercised and healthy eating. One alone will not do it. BE MAX COMPLIENT in all that you do. I highly recommend the time and financial investment in MAX Challenge. You will not be disappointed.

Prior to joining the max, she couldn't even walk up a flight of stairs without getting our of breath. This past summer, she competed in her very first spartan race. And I am reaping some of the benefits with an increase in her mojo. So I highly recommend the gym to everyone, especially if you want to increase your boogie.
Fantastic experience: I love the Max! I've been a member for over 4 years and I still find it motivating and challenging. The instructors are awesome...they make working out fun with a different workout every day! During the pandemic they offered virtual classes so we could continue our program at home...they still offer virtual and recorded classes which is really helpful. Joining the Max is the best thing I ever did!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here since May and I’m down about 40 pounds. Regardless of weight lost, I feel better, sleep better, and am more confident in my day-to-day. Clothes fit and I feel like I’m looking good in them again! The people that workout here are AMAZING and the instructors are some of the nicest and most motivating people I’ve ever met in my life. I HIGHLY suggest giving this place a shot. New Providence Max is a second home to me and I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: You only need to look at the before and after pictures of EVERY Maxer to see that the MAX Challenge works. My weight and fitness level have fluctuated since college and, even when I was working out consistently, I was never able to out-train my poor eating habits. The MAX Challenge provided me with a platform that combines fitness, nutrition, and accountability - exactly what I needed to lose weight and get into the best shape of my adult life. The MAX has an amazing culture and great people from the owners to the trainers to the members who I work out with every day. I was hooked during my first 10 week challenge and my journey continues as a legacy member.

Fantastic experience: Being able to work out and instruct at both Max locations has been such a blessing. Being able to meet and interact with so many amazing individuals inspires me to work harder each day. The Max of New Providence has helped me to add variety to my workouts! The environment is amazing and the people are extremely friendly and encouraging. The Fitness team there also kicks a lot of butt! Take it to the MAX!!
Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 11/2/17 and over the next 8 months, I had a mastectomy, 16 rounds of chemo and 25 radiation sessions. During this time, I realized I needed to make a change so I could live. For most of my life, I put everything but myself first. I started my first Max challenge in August and it has changed my life. They have taught me to take time for myself, how to eat right and stay fit. The team is supportive and encouraging and have never made me feel like I could not succeed. I have never felt better! I highly recommend this program, you will not regret it! 12/21/20 Update:The Max of New Providence/Union opened back up in August and I can't emphasis enough how impressed I've been at the number of safety precautions the centers is taking. Socially distanced and clearly marked off spots, temperature checks, thoroughly cleaning after each session...etc. I couldn't feel safer. 12/20/21: I can't recommend the Max of New Providence/Union enough. The center has adapted to COVID protocols seamlessly offering virtual sessions allowing you to feel like you are part of the class. I have been a member for three years and I noticed over the past year how the classes are evolving by adapting to latest exercise techniques which have pushed us to higher levels. The instructors are top notch and most importantly they care about you and your journey. It is the best!

Fantastic experience: As a member, coming up on four years since I joined The Max, i can't say enough good things about this program. The benefits to my health, strength and overall esteem are too numerous to count! Fun, fast paced classes, along with the nutrition and support of your peers makes the Max Challenge a stand out among other programs out there. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed (and you can do anything for just 10 weeks!).

Fantastic experience: I started at the Max over 3 years ago mainly because I was looking for a gym that offered group fitness classes at 5AM. And what I found, in addtion to challenging workouts and the most amazing trainers, was a community of friends with a common goal~to be the best version of ourselves. We support and inspire each other, to show up, work hard, and be our best. The Max facility is and always was spotless and the owners and trainers respect protocols to keep their members healthy.
