Fantastic experience: Good

Negative experience: Every SNGLE time we come here our appointment takes 45mins- 1 hour for a dang depo shot. Definitely ready to switch clinics. EDIT!! We just left there. The nurse stuck my daughter in the arm with her depo shot. Pushing as hard as she could to get the medicine to go in her arm! She pulled it out and guess what??? NONE of it went in. Then these brainiacs proceeded to use the SAME EXACT syringe/medication to try again. Yep! Stuck the same needle and tried to force medication to come out. And.... it didn't. At least when she was about to pass out the offered to go get her a damn ice pack. (Not without mentioning her niece has a problem with needles to) My kid doesn't have a problem with getting shots. Never has UNTIL NOW. Thanks for that accountability ladies!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, therapeutic, patiently invested caregivers

Negative experience: My medical provider is 5 star. I've been dealing with someone changing my address to an address I've never lived at, and it happens every few weeks. Whenever I go in, I have to fix it. I've fixed it virtually; in person; and talked to multiple people. I just don't think they care enough to fix it. They would rather have pissed off patients.

Dr. Kennedy has been my Primary Doctor for several years, so I have a real trust in her decisions regarding my health care. She takes time, so I've never left her office feeling rushed. Negative experience: disappointment with my recent experience. After waiting a month for my scheduled appointment, I arrived on time today only to be sent back without receiving any assistance. This was not only frustrating but also a waste of time and effort. Given the anticipation and planning I put into this appointment, it was extremely disappointing to leave without the care I needed. I would appreciate it if future patients are informed of any potential delays or issues beforehand, so that their time and expectations are respected. Thank you for taking my feedback seriously, and I hope this can lead to improvements in your patient handling and scheduling processes.

Negative experience: So sad they have hired a company for blood draws, so now I can’t even get my A1C when I meet with my doctor at my appointment and get any changes to my meds I need then! WHAT A WASTE AND WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? Very disappointed and I’m sure many patients will leave over this terrible decision. Not a quality health care decision FOR YOUR PATIENTS!

Fantastic experience: My provider, Dr. Stiller seemed preoccupied during the visit. But, in his notes and summary it became readily apparent he listened to me closely and worked hard. He has a brilliant mind, as evinced by the pertinence of his notes and summary.

Positive experience: My very first vital phone call with a Dr. did not go as well as I thought it should have gone. Nurse was on the line on time. Then I waited for over an 55 minutes to talk with a Dr. I wish the nurse would of come back on line and told me that the Dr. was having technical difficulties or something. But I called the hosipital and they told me the Dr. was having troubles. I waited for 57 minutes on a vital phone call, of which was my first one, and I had to pay the co-pay. But in the end once the Dr. was able to get on, we thru our visit and plan to visit in 4 weeks.

Positive experience: This is my first time attending an appointment at Allina Health Shakopee Clinic where I received very good care and information about what I am feeling. The only thing that seems very delayed to me is the scheduling of the tests for which I was referred; so far I still do not have a response about the scheduling.

Negative experience: Never take your children to this hospital. The doctors and nurses are shady. Use any other hospital.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Jennifer Hunt at the St Francis medical center in Shakopee MN today. My appt was at 11:00 am and i walked into the building at 11:55. Was greeted and checked in very quicky and Kimber RN greeted me after maybe 1-2 minute wait. After finishing with her Dr Hunt walked in maybe 2 minutes later. She looked at my latest annual physical results were and we discussed my bp (which she has managed extremely well). We talked a few minites about continuing with the same program and then Kimber came back to schedule an appointment for 2025, a year from now.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Allina Health is friendly, knowledgeable, and takes a real interest in their patients.

Negative experience: Place is not organized at all Had people waiting to get the blood draw for over 2 hrs and they never told us they didn’t have any lab workers that day cause they called in and didn’t say a word until they got called out

Negative experience: The doctors lie and say one thing and go back on their words. My husband was told he would get a doctors note and next thing you know they can't give it to him and he needs to go the hospital to get that note. They just scam people into giving them more money. Don't trust the doctors there they don't know what they are doing.

Fantastic experience: My first time at the Aliina Health Shakopee Clinic to get my 3D Mammogram consultant with Dr. Chelsey Seth! Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly! Doctor nurses was phenomena l and I loved Dr. Seth's authentic nature demeanor she has with patients...not sure she knows this is her supper power or not.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr T. She genuinely cares about her patients. She listens to concerns, speaks in a frank yet caring manner, and always follows up when she says she will. I have had more than one cry in her office with her, and she is always so compassionate.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nancy O'Connor, is by far, the best doctor I've ever been with. I feel very heard and cared for with her. She has consistently been an honest, reliable and kind caregiver. She has helped me with and through, various issues. She is the only reason I drive 45 minutes out of my way to this Allina clinic (happily). Allina Health Shakopee, is lucky to have her. You can see her too. Just don't clog up her schedule for the rest of us. : )

Fantastic experience: I always feel like I have been heard and helped at the Allina clinic in Shakopee. . Dr. O’Connor has exceptional listening skills, is thorough, and not afraid to consult with her peers to offer the best course of care. Other staff; nurses, lab and X-ray technicians are all professional and do a great job.

Fantastic experience: I feel fortunate for the quality of care I receive at the Allina Health clinic in Shakopee. Dr. O’Connor listens to my concerns and does a great job explaining the plan to me.

Negative experience: This place is listed online as urgent care and has a huge urgent care sign on the building and on the doors. When you get inside they tell you there is no urgent care that it’s just a emergency room. Very rude receptionist that talked to us like we were dumb specifically asking to be seen at urgent care. If I could leave negative stars I would. Would not recommend 100%!

(Violation of our privacy and Hippa right) She goes back and comes back out yelling patients name across office. Needless to say I will be doing my due diligence to make sure this gets addressed.

He was able to help find answers to my problem from a car accident 2 months ago after others could not. His knowledge and listening were much appreciated. He took the time to listen and explain to me what was going on and what was needed. His associate, Melissa, was also great, as well as the xray technician that day! Thank you all! I highly recommend Dr Stiller and the Allina Clinic at St Francis Orthopedic Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Allina Clinic Shakopee combined with St. Francis Regional is an impressive combination. Never received test results so quickly and, in this case, diagnosis of my condition was amazingly quick, which reduced stress.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pham is an excellent Podiatrist. She is very professional, listened to me & explained the procedure. Suggested a 6-week follow- up if I was still in pain. Front Desk Representative was patient, friendly, helpful - excellent person to have as you first point of contact. I waited briefly in waiting room to see Dr Pham. This visit, as my last, was a positive experience. I would highly recommend the Podiatry Department.

Fantastic experience: Good care but too expensive on billing.

Negative experience: I would be cautious when dealing with Allina Shakopee Clinic and pay very close attention to your EOB's and their invoices. Not only do they not always submit claims to insurance, but they also often times will bill over the insurance allowed amount after insurance pays which is concerning and tell you the insurance didn't pay it all (even when paid 100%). I would always ask them to send a detailed invoice before going off the "balance" on their portal which is vague at the least to see how typical it is to see their numbers do not match the EOB. They can say it was a billing error or other terms which they have no explanation for; however, they do not understand contracted rates and therefore they do not abide by them and make up their own. I've seen this on every single one of my bills again and again yet when I call to explain why they cannot bill me over the allowed amount and that my insurance did pay they get upset and at the most will just send the bill back through some process to look at it again so ask for a manger every time because this process they create for their patients is so ridiculously frustrating to say the least. They are 100% required to submit claims on behalf of their patients and contractually not allowed to be billing more than insurance allowed so it's very aggravating to be dealing with all these so called "errors" they create.

Negative experience: Went here to the “GI specialists” because I had concerns of potential cancer, yet I was treated incredibly rude, condescendingly, and poorly by the doctor (Shilun David Li, MD). This gentleman blamed me without even addressing my concerns at all. He quote “would humor” me and check me out since I had “anxiety,” and to come up with a narrative to fit his view he scrolled through 20+yrs of my medical records to extract whatever random bits he could that supported his on the spot assessment of me, picking and choosing what to extract. I was in shock of how this… doctor(?) chose to speak to, and to treat me (or lack of). Its almost as if he was so arrogant that he thought he knew what I felt more than I did myself. Does he really think that I would go to a GI doctor and willingly volunteer for a Colonoscopy because I “was constipated,” and not because I believed that something was truly wrong with me? My personal recommendation is to absolutely find any other clinic in the metro area to go to besides this one for GI issues, or at minimum avoid seeing Dr. David “S” Li.

Fantastic experience: Im sitting here with one useable hand, because staff here helped me with my left hand which was severly burned by oil. Directed me to further care. Staff was attentive, i did wait 2 hours to be seen by ER doctor Rosen...but there was a long line ahead of me. Im very happy with my experience at this clinic, the end result was supreme care for my burns and referrals to a clinic who can better handle my severe injury. Also, EMT Jacob D made my experience as happy as it could be (others did too, the nurse in my room who gave me a tet shot) What a day... Im just happy i had it here with the crew on this site. Im happy with the turn out. All i can say. Thanks staff

Negative experience: I went here a few years about trying to get my iud out and they didn’t get it out, I went 2 times to try and charged both times. I then went to planned parenthood and got it done in 2 seconds and they didn’t charge me.

Negative experience: The fact that this clinic ERASED my review is appalling. This hospital doesn’t want people to know that almost 2 years ago Dr Anna Marie Furuseth stole my fertility. I had to undergo 2 D&C and on the second one my right Fallopian tube was sucked out. Now the only way for me to get pregnant is IVF. Who has that type of money just laying around. This hospital has yet to reach out to me and try to correct their wrong. SHAME ON YOU SAINT FRANCIS. To add insult to injury you still have her employed in your clinic. You padded the comments with praise for her and deleted my comment.

Fantastic experience: Kind staff and knowledgeable doctors. Never have a super long wait. Parking lot usually has plenty of room. Watch out for Google trying to take you to the back of the building! You can’t get in back there… just drive around the corner and you’ll see the main entrance.

Negative experience: The worst clinical and administrative staff I had to deal with ever in my life . You go in as a patient and come out as a depression patient . Huge disconnect between departments . Staff is not helpful administrator office had the most incompetent people working . The worst clinic ever

Negative experience: One of the workers here posted personal info about another worker here on tiktok and made a joke about it and included the email she received, it also included the workers name and where she worked and what the email was about. Thats a red flag to me in a health care office.

Negative experience: Super rude, opinionated nurses. Have no empathy for their patients, and make you feel like an inconvenience. Take your loved ones somewhere they’ll be treated with at least minimal respect.

Fantastic experience: I went in today for a last minute appointment and my OB was out sick. Another OB Dr. Jaclyn Stevens was able to squeeze me into her schedule. She was amazing! Very informative and helpful she made me feel very comfortable and reassuring. I love how this clinic is always able to fit you in for emergencies.

Negative experience: I use to like this clinic. I don't know what happened. I arrive on time or 10 minutes early for my OB appointments in the early AM (before 9am) or late PM (after 2pm). I am stuck waiting 30-45 minutes to see the OB. I understand the unpredictability of OB practice. However, when you're the first or second patient of the day (scheduled at 7:30AM) and the doc is still 30-45 minutes late, I have an issue with that. Why is it if I am late to my appointment by 15 minutes, I need to reschedule. But when the doc is 30-45 minutes late, that is okay? I have other things to do with my day besides wait in an exam room. I am not impressed as a former Allina employee. Do better, Allina.

Negative experience: I saw Dr. T (Theerthakarai, Parvathi). I asked to see her because she had good reviews online, but I had a totally different experience. First, she was 40 minutes late. Then she rushed through my entire appointment to get to her next appointment. I felt unheard. She kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain my symptoms to her. She kept jumping to conclusions. Her suggestions seemed really strange coming from a Doctor. Then I receive a bill and she has billed me for blood tests that were part of my routine, preventative exam. My insurance told me that I need to appeal the charges immediately because Dr. T had coded them incorrectly. I contacted Allina's billing department, and they confirmed that those charges should not have been there and they will submit it for a "review". I will NEVER go to her, again. It all seemed fraudulent to me. She had also told me she'll refer me to physical therapy, 3 months later, I have yet to get a follow-up on that.

Fantastic experience: I have always had a great experience here with Dr. Fureseth and Amanda Rynda, NP for my prenatal care. The nurses and lab staff are wonderful too, very friendly and answer any questions and concerns I've had with detail.

Negative experience: Front desk is nice. Dr Nicholson is great. HOWEVER, if you ever call to make an appt or need to speak with a nurse, good luck! You get routed to a call center , it's not even Shakopee staff that answers. The nurses are rude and inconsiderate. They have no clue about care or how to give nursing advice about simple questions. They do not listen and are so horribly condescending. I asked a question about after care and one person said' do you know how to read'? I said , yes. Then she said well google the answer. Then, my most recent call to a nurse named Linda... she was not even listening to my concern/question. She asked me the same question 4 times. Four! I answered her every time nicely. Then when she gave me the "medical advice" it wasnt even pertaining to my question. So I said, you were not even listening so I hope you get more customer service training, more nursing training and Im hanging up. HEY SHAKOPEE ALLINA, your call center staff are AWFUL! PLEASE RE TRAIN OR HIRE NEW STAFF!

Negative experience: In a pandemic, Alina is forcing symptomatic and asymptomatic people to see a doctor for an order before a Covid test. What a total joke and money scheme.

Fantastic experience: My doctor is great and I trust her completely with my health, and the staff is very nice. Not sure what else I could ask for.

Negative experience: I was administered a flu shot (didn’t want one) back in late 2019. The nurse somehow missed the correct spot, injecting it into the bursa of my shoulder. 9-10 months later still having shoulder pain that won’t go away. Do not go here. Terrible clinic. Can’t even administer a flu shot correctly.

Negative experience: The NP Lauren Meier Benolkin is AWFUL! I do not recommend her at all. In fact, I now have to contact a manager and dispute my bill once it’s processed. Just a complete mess!!! All of this is so unnecessary. Mental health is NOT something to be taken lightly, period. Virtual visits are great & I’ve been having amazing ones with my PCP but with this provider it’s been the complete opposite! I am giving this place one more chance and I’m going to see the MD Jennifer Anderson instead my next appointment, I hope things are much better with her and I actually get some help.

Negative experience: Stay away! They took unauthorized blood and ran tests that were never approved. They failed to disclose the tests, the charges, and then refused to send a completed itemized bill upon requests, violating not only my privacy, legal rights to my biological property, HIPAA, and so on. Dr. Anne Furuseth and her RN nurse Beth @ Shakopee location are reported. Cases with BBB, HIPAA, FRAUD DEPt ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND MEDICAL BOARD ARE NOW OPEN.

Fantastic experience: I've never had a bad experience here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nurses are experienced and good at their jobs. If you arrive early then you won't have any issues with losing your appointment. Patience and time is key in the medical business. Been going here for years and will continue to go here for as long as I can.

Negative experience: this is a total rip off clinic. I went in as a new patient just for a blood pressure prescription renewal. I wasn't sick this wasn't a physical. They billed it as a level 4 out of 5 new patient office call for $500 for which medicare pays about $150. I asked them before i went in if they were a medicare clinic which charges in line with medicare I couldn't get an answer. It's a simple question. I asked the Dr. (no one told me she is a nurse practitioner. I asked for a Dr.) She told me yes they were and charged what medicare paid. Stay away.
