Fantastic experience: Before visiting Dr. Ryan I was incredibly skeptical of his services. After years of neck and shoulder pain that caused a myriad of muscular and nerve issues throughout my body I was seeking relief that would actually last. Massage therapy, prescription medication, trigger point injections, and another chiropractor had all failed to provide the results I so desperately desired. Dr. Ryan examined my issues by taking measurements and analyzing x-rays in several different positions to accurately determine where my misalignment was located and how best to treat it. Fantastic experience: I just so happened to see the sign for BGUCC on the way to Jasper one day and I’m so glad I did! I have had upper cervical adjustments before and know they work for me, so this was the best find! I really appreciate the overall attitude and outlook of Dr. Ryan and his staff - they have an honest, straightforward approach and are very positive, encouraging the patients to be that way too. IMO, positivity or the lack thereof has a huge effect on our health, and I love that Dr. Ryan and staff work to empower patients. As for the treatment, I have absolutely loved it! Fantastic experience: I very rarely write reviews but I can't say enough about Dr Ryan and his team. I had severely injured my neck, with multiple bulging discs and severe spinal stenosis from c2-t1. I was in level 10 pain, popping 10mg of oxycodone every 4 hours and it was barely taking the edge off. For two months I went the traditional medical route with epidural steroid injections, physical therapy etc but nothing was helping. Both an orthopedic surgeon and a neurosurgeon had recommended surgery. (laminectomy along with multiple layer fusions which would have significantly changed my life. I have always had a fear and skepticism of Chiropractors. The idea of "cracking" my neck was not something I was comfortable with, but I happened to stumble across Dr Ryan while I was desperately looking for solutions that would help but not lead me down the surgical path. My First appointment with Dr Ryan, I could barely move and remember having to stop the car to lay down multiple times while I made the hour drive to his office. He took a number of measurements and x-rays on the first appointment, then explained how he makes the adjustments. (not traditional cracking but instead using a mechanical arm thing that doesn't "crack" you but instead just applies relatively gentle pressure). The next day I came back, he had reviewed all the x-rays and taken measurements and knew exactly what manipulation needed to be made. He put me under the machine, and a few seconds later it was done. He re-took the measurements, confirmed everything adjusted and I walked out. (even an untrained eye can see and understand the measurements). By the next morning my level 10 pain was down to a 5!!! A few days later I went back, he took the same measurements, confirmed that I had lost the alignment, and he made the adjustment again. By the next morning my pain was almost completely gone. I came off the oxycodone and never went back on. About a week later I went back, and the adjustment had held! He did some fine-tuning with a handheld machine he uses but all in all my pain was nearly gone. So much so I actually went skiing the next week! I've since been a few more times but super happy to say my alignment has held and my pain is nothing more than a level 1 and I'm confident that with time it will completely go away. The other thing I really like about Dr Ryan, besides not doing the aggressive neck snapping chiropractors are known for, he truly doesn't want you to be a life long weekly client where you're in there every week having adjustments. Once your adjustment holds and you're out of pain he wants you to move on and live your life! At this point my alignment has held for 3 weeks and I'm not going to see him for another month. I hope I never need his services again but I know if I ever have neck pain again he'll be my first call! For those of you skeptical of chiropractors in general I would highly recommend talking to dr Ryan before considering any major surgeries. He truly saved the quality of my life and I can't recommend he and his team enough!

Fantastic experience: Most of my problems/pain are related to Lyme Disease. But, new issues came up and, for a couple months, I could not stand straight and could barely move without being in terrible pain. Dr. Ryan was honest and said he didn't know how much he would be able to help me, due to the Lyme Disease but, he would do as much as possible. After the first adjustment, I walked out standing straight and the (newest) pains had greatly diminished. By the next day, I felt like a new person. For the last several years, my hands go completely numb within 5 minutes of driving. After the second treatment, I drove all the way to Mississippi/New Orleans and back (Tate, Georgia - 1200 miles round trip) with very minor numbness, really not even enough to mention. I'm very thankful to have found Dr. Ryan.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! Highly recommend! I was referred by my physical therapist & went in with severe, chronic back, hip, and neck pain that had been getting worse for years. I had resigned myself to dealing with chronic pain for the rest of my life. I had been to multiple doctors/therapists & was on daily pain medication & muscle relaxers just to function. Dr. Ryan was great to work with & easy to talk to. After x-rays & a thorough review, my adjustment was done. It was such a new experience after being used to more traditional manual adjustment. It's very gentle & less traumatic than a traditional adjustment. This method works! I am thankful that I responded extremely well to treatment & was able to return to a much better quality of life over the next couple months despite chronic conditions. Fantastic experience: After six months, I can finally say “I feel good” ! While out of town RV’ing, I woke one morning with intense pain in my neck and shoulder. A trip to an urgent care physician and two conventional chiropractors offered me little relief and we cut our vacation short and returned home. Fantastic experience: My wife and I were referred to BGUCC by a friend who is a retired chiropractic professor. Dr. Ryan took a lot of time with initial evaluations, xrays, measurements, and discussion of diagnosis and plan of treatment. The reason for each treatment was clearly explained by Dr. Ryan. The office atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly; a large part of which is due to Stephanie the office manager. I promise you will be surprised at the positive difference you will experience.

Fantastic experience: I love BGUCC! I fell pretty hard about 2 months ago. I knew I had knocked something out of whack, but it didn’t really hurt that bad so I didn’t see Dr Ryan to check it out. Fast forward to about a month ago and I started having horrible pain that kept me up most of the night every single night. But I didn’t in any way associate this type of pain with my fall. I saw a couple doctors, trying to figure out what was wrong. I finally gave in to the idea that maybe it was pain from my fall, and decided to have Dr Ryan check my alignment. I was out of alignment, go figure. With my adjustment yesterday, I slept better than I had in a month, and my pain is almost completely gone. Dr Ryan listens to me and all my complaints, even if they probably aren’t caused by a misalignment, and Stephanie always makes me feel like I am her favorite person. I started getting relief within an hour after my first adjustment and within 24 hours I felt like a new person. Fantastic experience: My experience at Dr. Ryan’s office is like nothing I have ever had before. It’s a technique I have never seen in chiropractic. I have been in chiropractic care for 6-7 years. I have been having to go 1-3 times a week for repeated adjustments to try and reduce the pain. When I left Dr. Ryan’s, within 1-2 hours I already felt better. I have been going for about 2 months now. My visits now are 1-2 times per month. I feel better now than I have in years. The overall experience at Dr. Ryan’s is one, you won’t forget. I have never been treated more kindly. When you walk in you are treated like family and when you leave you are family. Fantastic experience: I have Dr. Ryan to thank for my being able to enjoy my life. In 2020 I struggled with pain, and at one point was laid up for 6 weeks straight from neck, back, and hip pain. Being in my early 30s I pretty much accepted defeat for being able to enjoy my life. Dr. Ryan came highly recommended, and it's the best money I've ever spent for my physical health. Now I'm able to get up and do light to moderate work on my little farm again. I can pick up my (almost) 3 year old niece, and play with her with very little limitations. I'm no longer worried about a small slip, or misstep throwing me out of commission for weeks. It's freeing knowing that I can live my life again and in the event I do tweak myself, they're able to get me back in alignment quickly! Fantastic experience: Because of my scoliosis and a previous back injury, I was having lots of lower back pain. I decided to visit Dr.Ryan. He found that I was really “out of alignment “. After a complete exam including xrays, he was able to get me back in alignment.I am again able to be active and pain free. I still return to him do occasional readjustments. Fantastic experience: I came to BGUCC with chronic, debilitating headaches which would last for several days at a time. They were sometimes accompanied by extreme fatigue, nausea, and vomiting, almost like migraines but that had already been ruled out by neurologists. They were controlling my life. Since careful study, evaluation and treatment by Dr Ryan these headaches occur much less frequently, are much less debilitating and I can keep them from progressing to the severe stage. Their office has been extremely professional and cordial during my visits and I trust them with a problem that few have been successful at treating effectively. Fantastic experience: I have a very bad neck and have had surgery to fix the lower 2 disc and now I have arthritis in my neck. And the surgeon said I'd have to have it again in the upper 2 disc :( I do not like a chiropractor because of the popping cracking and snapping they do and it scares me to death that they are going to do something to my neck or spine, so I told a friend of mine that I needed a chiropractor that didn't do all that (mind you now not knowing that they even existed) and not long after she sent me a message on Facebook about Dr Ryan. So I called his office and I made an appointment and he tells me he can help me. That's been over a year now and I can't thank him enough for how he has changed my pains and my life for the better. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about this practice! I was in incredible, constant pain for almost two months and was unable to sleep at night. After an MRI of my shoulder/spine and an appointment with an orthopedic doctor, I was told that I had two herniated discs in my neck along with a torn shoulder and would need surgery ASAP. I was terrified after reading about the surgery and realizing the critical areas of the body he would be operating around (spinal cord, trachea, esophagus, etc). I was also offered cortisone injections but told that it probably wouldn't be a long-term solution and I would have to continue getting them every few weeks. I had already been receiving chiropractic care and felt like the rough adjustment might have caused or at least exacerbated my pain since this came on so suddenly. Trying everything I could to avoid surgery, I was receiving some physical therapy, and my therapist asked if I was familiar with BGUCC. She printed off the info and said several of their patients had had great success with Dr. Ryan. I went home and immediately researched his website and was excited to read the plethora of amazing reviews. I called immediately to schedule an appointment and felt like I was in the right place after speaking to Alyce. I was still skeptical that Dr. Ryan could help my case since my doctor had said that I was beyond help from a chiropractor. Dr. Ryan was willing to work me in within two days and I had my first adjustment just a few days after seeing the orthopedic surgeon. The office is so beautiful and you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Dr. Ryan took the time to explain everything to me and why his practice is different from your typical chiropractic care. I had been having intense pain all the way down my arm and even numbness into my hand. After the first adjustment I thought "that's it?? that's not going to get it". I'll admit I was skeptical, because it was such a gentle adjustment. That night the numbness in my hand went away! I am two months out from my first adjustment, and am SO MUCH IMPROVED! It has not been a quick, overnight fix, but pretty quickly I was able to get comfortable enough to sleep all night which was a huge blessing. More importantly, I am relieved that I was able to avoid a terrifying surgery. Another thing I love about Dr. Ryan is that he only adjusts you if you need it. He doesn't want to keep you coming back three times a week for the rest of your life. He truly wants to get you well and back to doing the things you love. Please go see him ASAP. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: Before going to the office to see Dr. Ryan, vertigo was a constant in my life. I didn’t feel well often, almost every day actually. I didn’t think that my problem was going to get solved by visiting a chiropractor. I’d already tried everything—ENT, and neurologist. however, this office was EXACTLY what I needed. After my first adjustment, everything changed. I felt amazing. I hadn’t felt like that in such a long time. I’m glad that I came upon this practice when I did, because honestly, I was losing my mind. Fantastic experience: Go go go...did I say go? I have never been to a chiropractor before but I had an idea of what they do. However, Dr. Ryan doesn’t crack bones, he heals bodies. It’s different than anything I expected, and I am so grateful that I made the decision to go see him. I have had pain in my neck for over a year now. I went to the doctor about it several times. Each time I was told it was inflammation, and given steroids (I’m not knocking my Doctor, she’s amazing). However, the steroids never helped, and the pain got worse to the point of causing me to have Migraines often. A few visits with Dr. Ryan and the pain is gone, along with the migraines. His practice could potentially be life changing for so many people. You just have to go see him. Also, the relaxation room (I call it the vacation room) for after your visit is incredible. 15 minutes in the massage chair, soothing music, and the weighted blanket is just what the doctor ordered.....no pun intended .

Fantastic experience: I have been searching for something to help with my chronic pain for 10 years. I was involved in a rollover accident and have had two ACDF surgeries. Even after the most recent one, I was in daily pain in my neck and also upper back and shoulder pain. Over the years I have done everything from injections, acupuncture, dry needling, and months if physical therapy with no relief. I knew my surgery was done correctly, but didn't realize that even though my neurosurgeon did a great fusion, I was out of alignment. I was skeptical going to Dr.Ryan at first, but soon realized that after a few visits that SOMETHING was happening! My daily headaches were starting to go away and my neck and shoulders were less painful! I have more energy and find myself doing more of the things I loved doing. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan is outstanding. He has treated my daughter since she was diagnosed with scoliosis. We combined working with Dr. Ryan and a orthopedist. Dr. Ryan worked to keep her shoulders and hips level while the orthopedist braced her back at night. Fantastic experience: I walked into this office unable to stand-up straight and in excruciating pain after a workout the previous evening. They fit me in that day for an initial exam & x-rays and agreed to treat me that day. By the end of the visit I was able to stand up straight, extensive knowledge about my pre-existing conditions and received substantial relief in my pain immediately following the adjustment. Additionally, I was no longer pigeon toed and had been my entire life. I went back 5 days later and was cleared to start working out again. I feel better than I ever have before and I appreciate that Dr. Ryan is quick to get you back to your activities and does not perform unnecessary adjustments. He is keen on getting your body back to a healthy state. I am very thankful to have found this gem.

Fantastic experience: I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Klopfer as a genuinely caring individual & Dr. Orthospinoloy, as practiced by Dr. Klopfer, has been the single most beneficial spinal care I have ever received. Due to a trampoline accident in 1967 I lived with ongoing neck & lower back pain for the next 40+ years until being treated about 3 or 4 years ago with this method of spinal adjustment . Today my pelvis is level, my legs are even in length, & I can rotate my neck L or R with little to no pain, none of which was true prior to this treatment. If & when my back issues do flare up, which rarely happens these days, Dr Klopfer’s adjustments quickly & effectively correct the problem & I’m back to seeing him every 3-4 months for general maintenance.
