Negative experience: Well, my experience wasn't very good.. my first time a doctor attended me and he was very kind, I have no complaints about him.. but my second time was with a female doctor and I didn't like it because one wants to understand what she is explaining but she told me to wait until she finishes talking and only then will she ask me if I have questions, and it wasn’t just that.. days went by, I was left with some tests and in the lab, they told me that they would be ready in two days, four days go by and I haven't been called, so I call the clinic and ask if they are ready.. the person who answers me tells me.. that yes, they already called me, I said no.. the question doesn't make sense because if I’m calling it’s because they haven’t done it.. then she says you don't have to be calling when the tests are ready, we will call you.

Negative experience: Never go back to this place. It is extremely expensive, and they tried to get your money doing extra things that you don’t even need it.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous place, I called in the morning on a Saturday asking until what time they take patients they said 3:30 even though the online page says 7pm, that's fine I came in at 3:15 and they denied to see me with the excuse they had too many patients inside even though the parking lot was completely empty, I was the only car outside. Never again coming here!

Negative experience: Went to this clinic bc I dint want to pay “all this money” but ended up paying way more!!! Literally charged me 140$ to just take my height, my weight, blood pressure and ask me what was wrong. After that they sent me to go and get a sonogram done were they also charged me 150$ ohhh yeah,,,we had to keep bugging them so that they could check if they had the result ready in, they kept on telling us they didn’t so we had to call the other place where I had the sonogram done and they had send it 2 days after I had the test done so took 3 extra days just sitting in there mail. They also told me the 140$ was going to cover my visit back so they could tell me if something was wrong. But as soon as I got there, they wanted to charge me $85 But was able to bring it down to 40$ horrible experience!!! DONT GO HERE!!!!

Negative experience: I recently visited Angels Medical in Fairmont for a physical exam required for school or work, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. Before the visit, I confirmed over the phone that the exam would be covered by my insurance and received the green light. However, upon arrival and after handing in the necessary forms for the school-required check-up, I encountered a series of disappointments. During the visit, the staff assured me that my insurance would cover the costs of the physical exam. However, after the exam, I was surprised with an administrative fee of $45 for the clinic's signature on the form, which had not been mentioned at any time prior. This fee, supposedly for 'administrative purposes', was not covered by the insurance, despite prior assurances that there would be no additional costs. The lack of transparency and the last-minute revelation of extra fees were very disappointing. After presenting this dilemma to the attending nurse Jorge, he dismissed my concerns and demanded payment. Furthermore, although I had switched my provider to Dr. Marshall Packard as instructed, I was only seen by a nurse, not the doctor. This misrepresentation, combined with the unexpected fee, made my visit to Angels Medical not only frustrating but also deceptive. Potential patients should be cautious of the clinic's billing practices, especially the population with low health literacy that they supposedly serve. Since they are one of the few Spanish clinics, I recommend that future patients request all possible charges in advance. Based on my experience, it seems that the clinic's priority is more focused on financial gains than on care and transparency towards patients.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of this clinic for years, I have been a patient of different doctors who have been through this clinic. Last year I went because I had high blood pressure and was attended by a doctor with horrible arrogance, who spoke to me in a rude manner, very arrogantly, showing no interest in my discomfort. The only thing that seemed to matter to him was the general studies that you have to get done year after year to be treated at this clinic, and the cost is high, around $200. I felt pressured to get them done at this clinic in order for them to prescribe me the pills, even though I have been prescribed those pills at this same clinic for years. The doctor decided to give me the same medication that did not work, did not normalize my blood pressure. I returned to the clinic to inform the doctor, and I didn't even see him, they just sent me to the room and a nurse took my blood pressure. Through her, they told me to drink water and gave me another medication without explaining anything. I asked the nurse where the doctor was because he insisted so much on the tests to medicate me, and he didn’t even show up when the prescribed medication was not appropriate. The nurse told me he was busy because he was in charge of the clinic. I went to pick up the medication for a few months and today it ran out for the first 6 months because they split it into 2 periods of 6 months. I arrived and waited about 30 minutes for a very rude nurse who was assisting the doctor that treated me today. I didn't want to see the other doctor again. So this very rude nurse told me that every 3 months I had to get a urine test, and I asked what that test was for since I had already done what they required to continue having the prescription for the medication, which was a general examination. The nurse gave me a bad look and said, 'This is for urine, not blood,' with a cost of $25 so that they could prescribe the blood pressure pills. Without any further explanation, I had to do it because I need the medication. Besides the general examination that I mentioned I did today, the consultation was $40 + the urine test $25. I was left wondering if they were going to want to divide the annual exam to prescribe the pills into quarters to charge more money, but with the mistreatment I had already received, I didn’t ask. I paid $65 just for the prescription and to be mistreated by the staff. The doctor wants to see you in less than 5 minutes, does not even pay attention, they do not care about the health of the patients. This is the last time I’m at this place; it’s like giving money away for bad service.
Negative experience: What a disappointment, we drove for up to two hours to be attended by Doctor Angélica. But they have such an arrogant nurse that we will not come back to this clinic. We are sorry we couldn't present our baby to you, Doctor Angélica.

Fantastic experience: This is a GREAT clinic, I had bad elbow pain after a injury in a soccer game, my mom took me to my pediatrician and she said it was fine, the pain was still there for a few days and my mom decided to take me to this clinic, the doctor there then took a look at it and sent me to get a MRI and X-Rays and I had a hyper extension on my elbow tendon, the doctor then sent me the required medication. This isn’t the first time I go since I always go there when I get hurt/sick. Definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: The doctor said I had to be referred to another doctor before she could tell me anything. The female doctor charged me $70 for nothing. She didn't recommend or prescribe anything. They are a joke. The front desk couldn't pull my appointment I made online either lol.

Negative experience: The worst place you can ever go to see a Dr. Unless you like someone taking your money and you get nothing in return I’ll never go back again!! I went to get checked out and to get a letter for my disability so I can get help so I can get my mail delivered to my home and they didn’t do nothing for me they just wanted my money and kept saying they need to do more test on me after I told them what was wrong with me. They were like we need to run this on you so you need to pay this much. Test you for this and that so it’s gonna cost this much and so on.. So After I did my A1C test I told them can I get a Dr. Note so I can show the post office so they can deliver my mail they said no we need to do more test. I was like for what? So it was back and forth between me and them so I said ya rather me drive not feeling good to go get my mail at the post office putting my life and other people life in damage all because ya didn’t want to give me a note for my disability.

Fantastic experience: I went there 2 weeks ago. Took my son there because his pediatrician (Texas Children) was not able to pinpoint the cause of my son's abdominal pain. When I explained to the doctor the situation, she immediately said it could be either intestine or muscle related. Sure enough, it was muscle related. She prescribed him medicine and rest time (he plays soccer). He is doing so much better. I always go there when I feel my primary PCPs are not doing a great job. I trust the providers at Ángels Medical clinic.

Negative experience: Don’t go here, my wife took our daughter for a physical… wife let them know that our daughter has a chronic a liver disease so we waited for lab work.. a couple days after they called her back there because my daughters liver numbers were odd and that it was so serious we had to rush her to the hospital(clearly clinica el angel sucks the don’t review charts for past medical history)…. So we did end up rushing her to the hospital…Daughter’s liver number we’re completely normal!!!! For a child with liver issues!!! We were so worried and concerned… wife crying because our daughter’s condition is life threatening so we thought it came back to hunt us…. Clearly the provider had no idea what condition my daughter had or didn’t even care to look at her chart (white female provider, unfortunately don’t recall the name if not I would gladly share it here) Horrible way to scare people… man… check y’alls chart before freaking someone out!! Pay a bit extra and go somewhere else…
Angels Medical takes every patient's medical care very seriously. We have long wait times due to our providers taking extra time to review patient records and take additional time to discuss issues with patients. If lab results come in with an Urgent label then we immediately will call patient to inform them and provide further instruction for immediate care. Even with prior medical histories, there are certain perameters that if trigered require immediate medical attention. We will do our best to provide comprehensive quality medical care to every person who walks in our doors. Our community, our patients, and their loved ones hold us to a high standard and we will always maintain that standard.
Negative experience: The service in general has declined a lot, the patient is not important even if you feel really bad. They had space, and time and they refused to give the service.
This is very disheartening to hear. We would like to speak with you futher about your experience and understand what we can do to improve our services. We have had a difficult time through COVID to maintain our speed of seeing patients, but our quality is most important to us. We aim to resolve every one of our patients' concerns unlike other medical offices. Because of this our visits tend to last longer but our patients recieve excellent care. We hope that our policy on this is understandable and we hope to serve you better in the future. We appologize for the hardship this may have caused you and wish you nothing but the best.

Negative experience: Too much waiting time, even with an appointment..!
As we aim to better serve our community we offer appointments online at angelsmedical.com and also allow walk-in patients. We do our best to accomodate everyone and we spend the time most providers don't, to answer all of our patient's concerns.
Negative experience: Only giving them one star because theirs no option for zero. Don’t recommend at all.

Negative experience: I have no doubt that the owners are good people and have excellent doctors, but today I wanted to ask for information to schedule an appointment, and the receptionist, who had a witch-like face, used a rather unkind tone and I waited 15 minutes being ignored. I left knowing that these are difficult times for healthcare staff. Clina the angel is very collaborative with the community. They help a lot, but with staff like that, they lose a lot. Thank you.

Positive experience: They take very good care of you and are very kind, but they take a long time; you spend more than 1 hour in the room beyond what you wait in the waiting area.
We wish we had a way to make things faster, but our providers take the care of our patients very seriously. They will spend the time with you that most wont. Thank you for voicing your concern and we will continue to do our best to get things moving faster in the clinic.
Negative experience: I took my brother to this “clinic” around 5pm because he cut his finger while fixing his car. They took a long time to see us and, when they finally did, they took a picture and went inside to show the doctor. The receptionist came out and said that there were doctors available but that none wanted to treat that there, and they sent him to an Urgent Care facility or that he could come back tomorrow during the day. No more explanation, nothing else. They just didn’t want to see him that day. What’s the point of having a clinic if you can’t even treat a cut in a finger. Not coming back to this unprofessional place.

Negative experience: They wouldn't attend to me because I have a little cough with phlegm, and no other symptoms. I didn't know that only the virus existed. As a clinic, they should know that there are other illnesses. If you have any symptoms (diarrhea, vomiting, congestion, etc.), don't even go because they won't attend to you unless you get tested.

Fantastic experience: My experience at this clinic was excellent. All the staff is very friendly and responsive. Lorena at the front desk answered all questions I had and was very helpful in explaining the process of my exams and getting my results. Alejandra who took my blood for testing was also very knowledgable with any questions I had and explained everything fully. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area!
Positive experience: The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have EVER received! I am so disappointed in my visit to this health establishment. From the get-go it was a bad visit. I came to this clinic because I was referred there from the doctor at the Deer park location because the Red Bluff location closed down. I was happy to find out this facility was much closer to my home. Well, once I got there, there was a large sign outside explaining that you must wait to be prescreened by an employee before entering due to this whole pandemic. Completely understandable, so I'm waiting outside for about 10-15 minuets, mind you I'm not the only one out there waiting. Then someone standing inside(a patient i'm assuming), opended the door and told us we could just come in. Confused(because this was obviously not an employee) I walked in and there was NO ONE even monitoring the front door. I would have been standing out there for ever waiting to prescreened for entry had that kind man inside let us know that know body was paying attention to the people outside. I walked to the front desk and was completely ignored for at least 3 minuets before one of the ladies out of the like 4 up there acknowledged me. I said I was a patient from the clinic that closed and was told to come here and that I didn't have an appointment, but if they were accepting out of pocket (no insurance) patient walk-ins and if so how long would I have to wait, and I was looked at almost as if she was confused and handed me a clipboard to sign in. After waiting about 2 hours with no update on any of the questions I asked, I walked back up to the front and I was seen like 30 minutes later. The doctor was stern, but nice overall. However the technician that took my blood seemed not very well trained, or new at least. It never hurts when I get blood taken cause I have huge veins, I literally had a huge bruise after getting my blood taken there, it hurt. Then even though they knew I was short on time, they thought it was the perfect opportunity to train the person already helping mr on my ekg. After paying $140 and waiting like 3 hours, I was finally able to leave and the front desk indicated nothing about scheduling a follow up. Well I am now out of my Rx and emailed them to ask about how to go about getting a refill. I never received a response to that email, so I called this afternoon. The lady that answered said she couldn't find me in their system. I'm like, How??? I literally had blood work, and am ekg done there and I paid $140, I was definitely there. So then she says she will call me back in half an hour. 2 hours later after not getting a call back, I called back up there, now this girl said she could find me however I needed a follow up appointment at the facility. I'm obviously upset because the staff was quick to take my payment(before I was even seen my the doctor) however, they couldn't inquire about my follow up so I could get all of that settled so I could easily get my refill when needed for this 3 month program as the doctor said. The Lady just kept asking me if I picked up my first rx, and I'm just completely dumbfounded my the incompetence of this staff. Finally fed up with her just repeating herslef and not grasping what I am saying to her, I ask to speak to an office manger or owner, and she places me on hold for 5-10 minuets just to get back on and tell me that the manger left. She said she would have them call me tomorrow. I am just so dissatisfied their service. I was really hoping they would work out for me since they are so close. It's unfortunate that they have such a nice facility, with such a rude/incompetent staff. Update—09/12/2020 customer service has improved dramatically. I was very happy with my visit today, everyone was not only kind but professional. I hope this continues. Changing my initial 1 star rating to 4 stars. However I understand every business/facility has their down days. Thank you to the staff for taking constructive criticism well and improving tremendously for my next visit. I truly appreciate that.

Positive experience: I have read and you have not corrected the problem of wait times. Gone I. The 4 times and once for blood work results. Everytime it has 2 hours or longer. Everything else here is good but wait times are terrible. Like they have no since of urgency That answer is not good each time there has been only 1 to 3 people and your satisfied with those results. 2 years ago you said you corrected this. So how in a 2 month period with for visits your ok with this

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, they have a multidisciplinary team concerned about the health of the patients. The human quality is appreciated upon arriving at the clinic; I recommend this place for the health service that anyone may need. I loved the laboratory service for blood sample collection and I adored their facilities; everything looks clean and they made me feel confident since they take all the precautionary measures regarding the Covid-19 virus.

Negative experience: Bad experience... I went for a problem, they did some tests, in the end they charged me $250.00 and didn't even give me the results... Because they said I had to make another appointment... They lied to me because they said they were going to call me to give them to me, they never did and they also didn't send them to me.... I lost the $250.00 and didn't even get a pill...
Fantastic experience: I recommend this clinic in Pasadena, TX. The entire staff is very friendly and professional, from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors. They are very professional and have very kind hearts.
Negative experience: They practice prescription fraud. The doctor told me what my prescription was to be with the refills but when I picked it up from the pharmacy, it said 0 refills. And when I go to try to correct it, I get an a bad attitude like I'm making up the prescription. They tamper with the prescription for whatever reason which makes me think that's why they refuse to ask the doctor anything otherwise they would get exposed. Talking to the NP does nothing cause she sides with her criminals.
Fantastic experience: THe wait time was only 25 minutes..Very nice nurses. Doctor took his time with me and explained thoroughly what was wrong and what he would do. Office is clean. was prescribed 4 medications for $64 bucks. Not bad at all. Highly recommend this office.

But unfortunately Ellen, the one who processes new patients is difficult to get ahold of and never returns messages or calls. My friend who is a current patient says everyone there is great. But I'm just writing this review from my experience with lack of communication.

Fantastic experience: Amazing clinic!!!! I have no insurance it’s the cheapest around Pasadena. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Raul was amazing and didn’t even charge for a follow up. Very nice office, probably nicer than offices that I pay a $50 co pay and it’s only $30 here. The wait was under 30 minutes each time and I called ahead and they gave me the approx. wait time. Also if they prescribe you medication they give you their price but do not pressure to buy and will send to your pharmacy but if too high can call back and they will fill for you.
Fantastic experience: I don't need to look for another place to go; here I have what I need and I am attended to with care and professionalism. It is a family clinic not only because of the services it provides, but because it makes me and my loved ones feel like family. As its name indicates, they are angels who solve any situation.

Negative experience: I spoke with someone on the phone and they told me to come before 1 because they might have many patients. I arrived at 2 and they told me they were no longer accepting patients for the day. They are still open until 3.
