Western medicine had failed me, and I was terrified chiropractic care would fail me too, rendering me unable to care for my toddler like a young mother should. The last 4 months of my life had passed by in a blur of pain meds, laying in bed, and appointment after appointment with no answers and no relief. I was worn down and low on hope. I wasn’t myself. Fantastic experience: I have been battling neck pain and having headaches for awhile. I was reluctant to seek treatment as I was scared at the thought of someone adjusting my neck. In my mind that would hurt worse. I was so wrong! I have been seeing Dr. Pettke for about 5 weeks and I am so much better. Nothing he has done has been painful. Fantastic experience: Went to chiropractor for 6 weeks because of a herniated disk causing sciatic nerve pain that hurt bad enough that I couldn’t put socks on in the morning. After those 6 weeks and not better, I decided to go see Nick and do decompression for it. After 2 months I would never know I even had a herniated disc. 100 pct recommend if you are having back pain. Back to doing normal stuff with zero setbacks. Pain free for first time in a year.

Fantastic experience: Went to two doctors because of lower back pain and limited bending at the waist. Both doctors diagnosed me with a pulled muscle. I was told to rest for a week and was prescribed muscle relaxers. After only getting slightly better I was spoke with a gentleman at my church who recommended his friend. Brandon is the chiropractor I saw for Curis and he new what was wrong before examining me or taking the x-rays. I had a bulging disc in my lower back and right leg was 9mm shorter. He showed me the x-rays and explained I could clearly see my issue. I had to start wearing a heal support in my right shoe to keep me level so my back is straight. I was put on a five visit three week program. The days I didn't have an appointment I had to do the exercises on my own. Nina was in charge of showing me the exercises and getting me hooked up to the machines. The program works as long as you do the exercises on your on. I was feeling good just in two appointments. By the end of the three weeks I was back to normal. I will continue to do the exercises every morning. I will say I was told based on the condition of the disc and the fact that I am very active they said I had one of the shorted programs. So it may take longer to heal based on your injury and condition. I would definitely recommend Curis to everyone. I am extremely satisfied with every part of the experience and think them for there time in getting me back to doing things I enjoy pain free.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr.Pettke through the VA due to a bulging disc and sciatica. They were able to get me in very quickly and I have seen remarkable results over the last 6 months. Dr.Pettke is attentive to my concerns and knowledgeable of his trade, and we have yet to encounter any pain that he can’t improve. Nina and Heather are personable, kind, and attentive as well, and it has been a pleasure to work with them on my progressive rehab. They explain how everything works to improve my condition, and make the time so enjoyable (even if I haven’t had my morning coffee). Scheduling is so easy, and they are flexible for whenever emergencies arise and I need to reschedule my appointments.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an awkward fall which caused pain in my neck & back. When it did not get better I knew it was time to go see Dr Pettke. I had previously had a successful treatment plan from Dr Pettke & staff for my foot, so it was a “no brainer” to go back to see him for my new pains. The location is great for me and it is always easy to get right in, as Tammy works so diligently to work with my schedule. After a few short weeks, I have graduated pain free; actually even better than I was before my fall. I highly recommend Curis Functional Health. Fantastic experience: I’m a highly active person. I injured my lower back skateboarding two years ago but didn’t do anything about it. I recovered after a few weeks and thought I was fine until I reactivated it playing basketball… I should probably mention I’m 41 so not exactly a youngster. This go round I had shooting pain in my lower back that prevented me from even tying my shoes. My wife had both her shoulders treated by Dr. Pettke a couple of years prior and told me I needed to make an appointment. From the get go Dr. Pettke and the staff were phenomenal. He was able to pinpoint what was causing the pain and after the first appointment I was feeling better. A few rounds of adjustments and decompression later and I’m back to normal. Fantastic experience: This is the stunning review you are looking for! If your on the fence about going, do it! I went to see Dr. Petkke and he is awesome! I was a little worrisome about going since I had never been. I have had 8 car accidents and never addressed them and have suffered from, at times, debilitating neck and shoulder pain. When I was younger I just toughed it out. As I have gotten older the pain has tripled to where I could barely move at times. Neck and shoulders ALL THE TIME. Don’t ignore it! Go now. I did not realize that it wasn’t just pain I was dealing with. I had become immobile. I had gotten by nursing these sore muscles by adjusting my life to nurse the pain. Sleeping a certain way, not moving my neck certain directions, headaches constantly, numbness in my hands ect. I couldn’t even touch my neck to my shoulders when I walked into this establishment. Dr. Petkke found a plan that worked for me. A combination of adjustments and a little physical therapy every session for about a month and a half and I feel 100% better! I have my mobility back and now actually feel like I can work out again without excruciating pain! This is not the type of chiropractor that you go to and then they want you there for the rest of your life once a week. I went and now I’m done with my treatment and feel way better. I can now go back whenever I would like if I feel the need. Like I said stop ignoring your pain and just go. You will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr. Albracht after three weeks of back spasms and lower back pain. I also came to him two days before a hiking trip to Seattle and I could barely walk. I was skeptical of chiropractors because...well I don’t know why, I was probably more scared of any possible pain but it couldn’t get worse than the back pain I had so here I was. I told him my situation and after looking at me and seeing what shape I was in l he recommended I come for a second visit that evening and another visit early in the morning. Since it was my first time and we did three visits within 24 hours, that was expected (not for me since it was my first time so if it’s yours just know you might be sore the first time) but it was 1000% worth it. The pain/spasms were almost non existent after two days and while on my trip we did an intense six hour hike and I couldn’t believe I was able to actually complete it after the state I was in two days prior!! By the time I returned for my fourth visit I was feeling 80% better and by the fifth I felt 100%. Big shoutout to his staff who seemed to always be busy but were able to be super helpful and super friendly. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Albracht and his team.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the very best Chiropractors and staff that I have ever been to! After waking up one morning unable to walk, I called and they got me in within 30 minutes. I was able to walk when I left their office! I have been going for over 9 weeks now, and every adjustment and decompression has been amazingly helpful, and my pain has decreased significantly! I am a Registered Nurse, and highly recommend Dr. Pettke and his staff Hannah,, Tiffany, Heather,, and Tammy for their high standard of care! Fantastic experience: After driving for five hours Sunday, I suddenly developed the worst lower back pain I had ever experienced, even worse than when I had two previous back surgeries. The next morning, I called Curis Functional, Burleson and they worked me into their schedule. Dr. Pettke worked on me, then Hannah gave me a laser treatment and decompression treatment. By the time I went to bed that night, I had zero symptoms. I was shocked. Because of these results and the professional and friendly attitudes of everyone there, I very highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Best place ever! First of all, I've been to 2 different chiropractors with sciatica and could not get relief. The pain would get a little more tolerable for a week or so, but then I would go back to horrible pain. So bad at times I could hardly walk. Then I discovered Dr. Pettke and the first week the pain was better. Now it's been a month and I'm just about pain free. What was a 10+ level of pain is now an occasional 2. Not only does he adjust me, but the decompression is awesome. And then there is sweet Hannah that guides you through exercises to strengthen muscles to hold everything in place. I'm confident that by the end of my treatment plan I will be complete! I am so thankful for them! And everyone, I mean everyone is ALWAYS so nice. Thank God for this group, I will never go anywhere else!
